If you are the type of person who likes to memorize then this class is perfect. She gives you an outline of everything she'll talk about and if you memorize it, you're fine. It's a LOT of information though. Only buy the voices book, the other is a waste. She is very sweet and I'd take her again.

She is a wonderful person! But as a teacher she is horrible. Her class is HARD! Mrs. Carter talks and talks and talks she rambles a lot. There is no class participation. I leave her class with 4 & 5 Pages of notes each day! General Education shouldn't be this hard! I honestly think she should retire!

Sweet old lady! There are only 4 tests (final included), a couple of easy writing assignments, and a few quizzes. As long as you take notes, then it is an easy A since her tests are mostly matching and fill in the blank. Just memorize people and places and this class will be a breeze!

One of my favorite teachers. You really have to study hard for her tests. Showing up is a must... otherwise you will miss pages and pages of notes.

Dr. Carter is very sweet and obviously cares a lot about her students. As long as you show up to class and take notes, the class is a breeze. You really don't need to buy the textbook reader; I didn't use it. The Journey book for the few writing assignments was the only book I found useful.

Taking notes is very important in her class, very nice teacher. And the test isn't very hard.

She is an amazing person, but her class is extremely hard. You have to be there every day to take a very large amount of notes. When she gives a quiz she asks the questions outloud-you dont have a quiz in front of you to read and she moves very fast. Her tests are extremely hard. You have to remember EVERYTHING, which is impossible.

Sweet woman but this class requires A LOT of studying. She gives you an outline and lectures off of that. That's all you need to know for the tests so don't waste your money on a book. All tests are fill in the blank and essay. You have to know practically everything she's said in class. If you're willing to put in the time to study, take her.

Carter is a very helpful person, however her teaching method was difficult for me. She tends to just talk and you're expected to write down pages and pages of notes each class and you never know what you will actually be tested on. Easy writing assignments, easy quizzes, HARD tests due to the tons of information. Doesn't really follow her outline.

Do not bother buying text book. TONS of notes, and plan on knowing the entire outline, quizzes are easy if you study, and the 2 papers are a breeze. She gives only an outline for entire class, lectures only, not allowed to leave class and return. Talks very fast and expects you to know how to spell impossible names

Very nice lady but some hard test. not multiple choice, hand written test, but she gives you all the answers to all the questions if you just study!

Some of these comments are ridiculous. If you study your outline, you make an A! It really is that simple, because the entirety of her tests are from the outlines. She also gives loads of time in between tests and lest you know when they are at least 2 class periods ahead of time.
