She teaches directly from her notes (which has become my bible). Even though tests are difficult, they are fair.

I took her for NUR 214, NUR 216, and NUR315 - i would suggest her for EVERY class that you can take her for - She is so clear with what she wants, and her exams are exactly from her course pak! She makes the class very interesting and there are no tricks or surprises on her exams!! definately take her!!

Dr. Gutterman is amazing she embodies nursing. She knows her stuff inside and out. Study her course pack and you will do fine on the test, no tricks her questions are straight forward. She is very professional and doesn't tolerate non-sense. What is great about her is her modesty for someone who is so intellegent, she's not arrogant.

Dr. Gutterman has a wealth of information that I have not seen thus far in this nursing program. She makes class entertaining with her anectodal stories and is straight forward with what she wants you to know. I wouldn't say her tests are easy but study hard and you will do well.

If you just want to memorize the material then her course is good for you. Just study her notes and pay attention to lectures. If you want to understand things however, choose someone else, because a lot of material is not covered in the book. I passed with a good grade, but most of the stuff I forgot already. It is not the way I used to learn

Seriously this one definitely one of the best classes I have taken in a while! Getting an A in Dr. Gutterman's class is not impossible but you have to work for it! She's a great teacher. Do not buy the textbook no matter what she says. All of her tests come straight from the course pack. She's a fair teacher. You must study. I will say her final was the hardest out of all three tests.

Professor Gutterman has changed my perception of nursing, she's incredible. I've learned more in her pathophysiology & pharm II class than I ever have at Molloy. She is very knowlegable but wants to share her knowlege to make us great nurses. She's awesome, just study the coursepak & you'll understand what's need to be understood for the tests LOVE

People that say she is mean just don't understand her passion for teaching. she by far the smartest professor on the molloy college campus with over 30 years experience. i have taken her for every course i possibly could. i left molloy for some years and when i came back i knew i needed her to get me back on track. She is an incredible nurse. Vietnam veteran and was in the trenches in Brooklyn as a nurse, she knows her Pharmacology. Be respectful. NO phones, texting or talking. She likes participation but pay attention. That is just common courtesy and sign of respect. She is fair with grading. Show interest and she will appreciate your dedication.

Dr. Gutterman is the sweetest professor! The course is hard because there's a lot of memorizing and there are not many test opportunities. But she makes class more enjoyable by telling stories that help you remember the material. She genuinely cares about all of her students! NO textingsleeping or she will get mad, pay attention and you're fine!

I loved Dr. Gutterman. I had her for Nur 139 and patho. Patho is not an easy course!!! The material is difficult but she breaks it down in her course pak (don't need to buy the text). She is so knowledgeable and I learned a great deal from this class and actually enjoyed it. Also hilarious.. must record her lectures and listen back to them.

A professor that you will always remember. She is a very sharp and quick witted so Don't BS her projects or test because she will give you a zero. Truly wants her students to succeed. Sweet lady. Love her, but very tough. Questions come from her notes and lecture. Read everything in her notes even the stuff in very small lettering. She asks questions from her stories too which are interesting and entertaining. Just know her notes inside out and I don't mean skim it - know every word.

She knows the content, answers questions with confidence. Has great stories and the information is on the tests. Very tough tests. You get the grade you work hard for. Would recommend her and would take her for everything she teaches. Very nice lady.

Took Dr. Gutterman's class over the summer session and I really enjoyed her teaching style. She made the class easy to sit through. She told many stories about her career and life that will always stick with me. If you pay attention and do your part as a student, you shouldn't have any problems.

Amazing teacher, The lecture is long and boring but I actually remember things she says in class because she makes it interesting with her stories. She is blessed by God, she has experienced everything! You don't need the textbook, just read the course pack. Theres a lot of slides to memorize and her test can be very challenging but very passable.

Patho is definitely not an easy course, however Professor Gutterman provides you with her course pack that includes all of her slides. She is very intelligent and explains everything in great detail. My best advice is to record her lectures, listen to them and take great notes. She's a real gem and I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Gutterman is a try gem, she is an amazing professor who gives students many chances to pass. I had her for NUR 129 and NUR 229 and I don't know how well I would have done if I didn't have her. She has strong opinions and she has no problem saying what's on her mind. She teaches in an amazing matter that the class doesn't drag & very enjoyable.

Dr. Gutterman is probably the smartest lady I've ever met. I'm a senior and I still use notes from her class to study! You do have to work really hard to do well but its 100% possible to get an A. Definitely take her class - it's worth it.
