Very unclear. Very strict and cold. She made the entire class uncomfortable and useless. She sat with her OJ every day, and talked and talked. She made my second semester a living hell.

Was this class for real? Was this teacher for real? If you are ready to be bored to death and deal with a teacher who makes absolutly no sense than u my friend are a SOSA student.

horrible, horrible, horrible teacher. i cannot say it enough. she starts the semester saying you will have "socratic" discussion, then basically drones on endlessly as the students fight off sleep.

analyses due for every topic but she dosent say anything until the end of the semester and laughs when telling us we have to hand in 20+ essays the next class, always late but not late enough, too bad, class sucks and professor sucks

She is the worst honors teacher ever. thinks because she has us talk that she is teaching like socrates. But she isn't prepared and we never get things back graded. sometimes we don't even get them back at all. total bore total waste. dont do it.

Sosa is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. All she does is sit in front of the class while the students teach themselves. Claims to be teaching you the Socratic method, what a load of crap. If you disagree with anything that she believes in she will downgrade you. I have no idea where she comes up with her grading.

This is the most useless class ever. Teacher discusses topics in the world today and lets students speak their mind. How ever you must write an essay per topic which is about two per week. At the end of the semester i handed in 28 two page essays and a final paper. Other classes watch videos. IF YOU GET HER SWITCH ASAP. BTW the class is torture.

Avoid, and if already registered, get out while you still can. One of the most boring classes I've ever taken. Teaches nothing. Demands a flood of papers at the end of the semester without clarifying what she wants. Very unhelpful

Awful, just awful. She is very closed-minded and if your opinion differs from hers your grade reflects. Took her for basic level PDA but had to write a paper for EVERY CLASS and did not learn a thing. Worst teacher at RCC definitely do not recommend. She is an unfair grader and does not teach the class, instead we "teach each other".

The amount of hate and dislike I have for this teacher is through the roof. Her teaching style is extremely odd. She barely teaches anything within the classroom, ALL of the work is done at home and at YOUR convenience. She doesn't offer help with your work and could care less about how well you do in the class. Being late is an absence..

HORRIBLE! she is the worst. do not take her. shes inconsiderate and is not easy to talk to at all. its either her way or the highway, there's no in-between. I give her credit for trying to change the layout of the course but she does it terribly. She gives out nothing but C's, your lucky if you get a B-. *Two Thumbs DOWN*

she is awful, attendance is mandatory which i am ok with but i NEVER missed a class, or a paper, there were over 30 papers. she does not mark the papers just briefly flips through the stack. i didnt talk that much in class which is also mandatory, 40% of your grade. i also did the e.c. and got a B, or what she called a strong B. The worst teacher. Im being completely honest i got a B- and i had to strive for it! She is not clear on how her hw supposed to be setup. You get hw EVERYDAY!!! and if you miss 2 forget about getting an A. If you dont get her to know your name then you didnt participate, which means your getting a C or less. AVOID THIS TEACHER!!! Worst teacher I've had in my education experience. at mid point I was given a failing grade with no reason. my attendance is perfect and all assignments are done. She wants the assignments to be to her standards but they are not clear. Very round about when she states issues with homework. Keeps detailed notes but to herself. No grade progress.

She is very unclear with her explanations and expectations. she also has a habit of not informing students when these expectations are not met. I wasn't even informed that almost all of the work i handed in was not graded because of errors in formatting.

Very boring, and confusing class due to the fact that she doesn't know how to teach. If you have any interest in being independent in class or getting an easy A, this is NOT the class for you.

She is rude and refuses to answer questions about the homework. I am generally an A/Honors student who does well in classes, but this one was just ridiculous. People drop her classes left and right and majority of the staff that I have mentioned her to don't agree with how he teaches.

very boring. ill never understand the whole pushing the desks up against the perimitor of the room thing she makes the classes do... her version of an outline makes no sense and isnt helpful. i guess the only good thing about her class is she doesnt actually read the papers. as long as she sees u handed something in then you get credit

Awful class. Complete waste of an hour and fifteen minutes. The outline she requires you to write on the chapter each class is so easy to do but when you ask her about it her directions are unclear, I only learned off my classmates. She also looses work and marks it as no work under your name. PLEASE DONT TAKE HER WHATEVER YOU DO.

Avoid this class, unless you are a masochist or want to start hating the subject. If you do, don't be one minute late, or you'll be marked as "late". Overall frustrating and confusing experience. You don't just study the material and write about it, but you have to present it in a specific format, which is unclear. I ended up hating the subject.

Says she has a disability that prevents her from answer emails, Gives to much work, Dose do a good job at explaining homework, will not take your paper if you are one minute late, Dose not do a good at answering the question we ask her, Her class is very tough. She doses her classes in a dialogue form instead of a lecture form.

Worse professor do not take

Very set in her ways, A student barely grows they just get used to the class, makes you hand in papers every class and returns them with only having glanced at it. Resubmitting papers with changed dates is rampant. Hard to reach and feedback very vague. Would be a great class in this were the 1960s, just take the class with another professor.

Where to exactly begin with this professor. She is probably the worst professor ever. She doesn't allow computers in the class to even take notes or view the many essays she requires and it is 2018. She is hard to get a hold of only during office hours she can't check emails. Dialogue format never teaches. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS.

She is the worst professor I ever had

There is an assignment due every class. She teaches dialogue format instead of lecture format. If you are even 2 seconds late she will not take your assignment. Only good thing about this class is there is no test/quizzes. Participation is 50% of your grade if you do not participate you will not get a good grade.

I recommend this professor if you want to drop your GPA. If you don't want essays every day don't take this class. She makes you show documentations if you want to makeup your missing work,like it's elementary school instead of college. In my opinion this professor is terrible. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Honestly the worst profesor at RCC. Do not take this professor. She gives a paper to write every night. It may seem easy just one paper right, but no. She makes you write it in a weird format that no profesor I had has ever made me do it in. If you are even 2 seconds late to class she will not accept your work. Also the class is in dialogue format

Worst professor ever do not take this class. The assignments are so confusing and she does a bad job at explaining them. If you are late by less than a minuet and she does roll call you will be marked late, and contacting her is a pain

Makes zero sense with assignments, does not respond to emails or use Blackboard AT ALL, complains if you're a millisecond late, has no social skills when communicating with other human beings. I had a phone meeting with her to discuss our midterm and I told her I learned little to nothing the whole semester and she told me my opinion was wrong.

One of the most difficult teachers Ive ever dealt with. She doesnt give you any chances, everything has to be done her way. She gives the most unclear instructions and expects you to read her mind and know exactly what she meant. Super hard to get in contact with as well, youre essentially on your own for this course.

I had no clue what she wanted out of the class, So unclear, impatient and hart to get a hold of. She expects us to read her mind on what she wants out of assignments. She thinks she is doing some extortionary class by making it a dialog type class. I would never take her class aging of recommend her to anyone. Class was a utter waste of time.

When Covid 19 started She told us she cant do online class and she failed most of the students.

Out of all honesty what I am taking from this course is just a awful feeling. From the 1st day on, this professor appeared to dislike the students from the very first second. She will not clarify if asked, will only accept work on Fridays(if submitted early its a 0). There isnt enough space to explain, do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

Makes NO sense whatsoever. Does not care whether you are confused and tries to manipulate students with her words as well as making students feel stupid. Learning a new language would be easier than trying to understand her.
