She is full of surprises, but overall she's really cool. The content of the class can be frustrating at some points but she's always available to critique your work & gives you effective feedback. The papers were fairly easy & she holds conference weeks where you only have to show up to her office hours during the time you sign up for. Really funny

This class was extremely stressful. There was no structure or guidance whatsoever, and we were usually left to figure things out for ourselves. You have to read a bunch of books in a very short amount of time, so be ready to speed-read. She warned us at the beginning of her class that her class was hard & most of us would fall behind... ouch!

Probably one of the most understanding and caring professors you'll have here; unfortunately though, her class was painfully boring. Genuinely love her as a person, but I could not take another class taught by her.

Professor Hunt is an amazing teacher, she is very caring and understanding of anyone's personal circumstances. Admittedly, her lectures are quite tedious but the work is very easy and upfront. Don't be intimidated by her class, there is barely any work and at most you'll have a discussion post once a week to do.

Super easy class. most of the assignments did feel like busy work but the course was required by the college so I should have expected that. Hunt is kind and willing to work around students busy lives and struggles.

Took this class for the FYSE requirement. The class topics were pretty interesting. She always invites people to participate but never forces it on somebody who doesn't like to speak. Communication is key: If you have an issue with a due date on something she will do her best to work with you. Nice personality and makes class engaging

This was taken as a FYE but she was easy and understanding of students who were uncomfortable with public speaking. Always flexible and gave alternative assignments when needed.

Most classes just consisted of talking about essay prompts in immense detail which was not very helpful for me. No quizzes or tests but four essays assigned. Mandatory meetings with her to discuss drafts of essays. Very caring and accessible outside of class but a tough grader. Overall a good intro writing class for non-english majors.
