She is a great teacher for those of you that might not be great at math. I think she is new to KSU so that is probably why she doesn't have many ratings. The best thing about her class is the extra credit quizzes she gives. She also drops your lowest quiz grade as well as replaces your lowest test grade with your final.

She's awesome! Super nice and patient. She returns emails fast and makes it her goal to help you understand each lesson. She also gave us extra credit each time we showed up and every other class. Highly recommended by someone who sucks at math.

I do not know how I would have done if I didn't show up every time there was class. But to me, you want to get an A, then you have to work for it. If you need help she is there during her office hours and before class. If you make an attempt then she is more than willing to help you. Math is my weakest subject and she helped me succeed.

Mrs. McCormick is definitely an amazing professor. She posts all the notes online and basically goes through them in class. Just print them off and go to class for reassurance. Her assignments are on mymathlab and you can spend 30 mins completing all her work for the next two weeks. She is really nice, and still new to the professor thing.

I have zero complaints about her or her class. She makes everything easy to understand and usually if you just show up to class she will give you extra credit. She always tells you exactly whats on the quizzes and test, and is more than willing to answer any questions. Make sure and check for the homework but even if you get a 70 she gives a 100.

The best math teacher for MATH1112 there is. The material is really easy and she basically waters down everything for you. Even if she didn't, I still think that the material is pretty easy. She also gives extra credit just because. There is not much homework and it's on mymathlab. I recommend taking her.

LOVED this professor. I find math kind of difficult, but she made trig fun and easy. She's so nice and sweet, and she will literally give you extra credit just for going to class. She gives 3 tests, a "quest", and 8 quizzes. She drops your lowest quiz grade. And she has review days before each test. There's homework due every week too (easy).

Ms. McCormick is a such an easy professor. If you took Trig in high school you literally dont even have to show up to this class. She gives extra credit for just showing up to class and all her material is incredibly easy. She lectures in a way thats super easy to follow and she never makes you feel like your questions are dumb.

Professor McCormick is hands down, the best math teacher I've ever had. I took her Trigonometry class and rarely found myself lost in the content. She is very detailed in her lectures, handwrites all of the notes/examples on the board for you, is open to questions at any time, and is willing to help you out when needed. This professor is the sweetest professor I've ever had. She only gives homework before the test and all you have to get on it is an 80 and she'll put it in as a 100. You don't have to go to class, but she's really good at teaching the material and she gives extra credit pretty much every class. I technically got over a 100 in the class.

All the notes are on d2l and you can basically teach yourself all the material if you'd prefer. Homework is very long but its not due until the day of the test and it helps a lot. Mrs. McCormick is such a good teacher. The class was very easy if you come to class and do your homework. Take home quizzes, 4 tests (& additional cumulative final), and homework make up your grade. There is a lot of graded classwork, so is heavily needed. Before the test we had a review day & she would prepare a practice test. No surprises.

If you are not the best at math, she is a great professor for you. She teaches by showing you many ex's and goes through each type of problem. I took Professor McCormick for Algebra and now I am taking Trig with her. She is great at teaching math, realistic with the workload and very pleasant. I would not recommend skipping her class because attendance is taken through classwork and is a large % of your grade. We now use Aleks for homework, which is time consuming but helpful on the tests

Attendance is sometimes mandatory. Class is super easy because Prof. McCormick is an amazing professor. Primarily teaches by giving a bunch of examples Last half of class is spent doing classwork that if you finish early you can leave early. My class ended at around 12:15 but I usually left by 11:50ish

When I say this is the beat math class I've taken in my college career, I mean it! Amazing professor! Really good professor. I was skeptical at first because I did not want to take math online, but she made it very easy to work. Homework was done weekly on ALEKS, and virtual hours if you have any questions. She also emails back pretty fast. Provides feedback on every assignment too!

I had Ms. McCormick for fall 2020, so it was online. She did a phenomenal job. Her video recordings were spot on and easy to understand. Whenever I emailed her, she responded very quickly and was super nice. The test reviews prepare you for tests very well. I would recommend her to anyone.

Super nice. We transitioned to online halfway through the semester and she did a great job of adapting to the changes. She's been the best math teacher I've ever had. Math has never been my strength, and she made it feel like it was so easy. Always willing to talk one on one if you need to.

She was very helpful and supportive throughout the semester. Even though the class was hard for me since I'm not very good at math, she really helped me understand all the concepts at anytime, even when office hours weren't going on. Classes were online, but she always had time slots so we could seek help or just work on assignments with company.

Best math teacher I've ever been taught by. She is very good at instruction, gets to the point without messing around, and knows how to explain things simply. Wish I could take another class with her, I went from nearly failing math every semester to almost getting an A.

She is INCREDIBLE! TAKE HER CLASS!! If you struggle with math, her lectures are always easy to follow and she is SO good at explaining things. There is quite a bit of homework, but she is very lenient and her grading scale is perfect so that if you miss a few assignments, you don't automatically fail or have to make perfect test grades to pass.

The online class is very well organized, she gives a very reasonable amount of work, her online lectures on math topics can help you grasp the material in just a couple of minutes (or even seconds!). Tutoring helped a lot and the tests are very fair! This class is near perfect for online!

She was a good professor for online precalc. There was homework twice a week and a quiz around every other week, and they were usually very similar to practice quizzes. We did have very long ALEKS assignments that people struggled with, usually every week, but I think she had to assign it to us. Anyways take her!

Caroline Is one of the best professors Ive had at KSU. She really cares about her students & is extremely helpful in office hours. Ive never been good at math but I passed with class with a near 100 because of how thorough she is with her teaching. If you stay on track with homework you will pass.

She creates videos for you to watch if needed. Her videos are very helpful and easy to understand. We used Aleks which is sometimes stressing but she helped out so much by letting us skip units on there. She gives out quizzes that are on lockdown browser and you cannot use your notes. Her test are take home and you can use your notes on them.

There's a lot of homework in this class, but professor McCormick is pretty reasonable and curves it. Come to class! There's an attendance grade every day which definitely helped offset some of my lower test grades. I put in a lot of work, but not more than my other classes.

McCormick makes learning easy. The test questions are very similar to the homework, so if you do the homework and understand it, you should have no trouble passing. Going to class is not mandatory, but I recommend it because you are graded a class work participation which is a easy 100. The homework and test are easy, if you pay attention in class or to her YouTube lecture video's. I finish the class with a 98!!

Best teacher I have had at ksu. I was a dual-enrollment student and took her for Algebra. She posts all videos online on D2L, so if you miss a class you can complete classwork by doing that. Tests are easy as long as you do the work. Alecks hw every week.

Professor McCormick is truly the best Mathematics Professor at Kennesaw State University. She has office hours every day of the week (M-F) and before exams will allow you to schedule Zoom appointments to help you cover the material. Extra credit is offered just by showing up to class. Lectures are engaging and classes are clearly planned out well.

She provided the information needed to pass the tests in a way that made sense. If you didn't understand something covered she would be welcome to answer your question(s). She treats her students like adults. She would understand if you were not able to complete an assignment or make it to a test.

You have homework due each Tuesday that can be up to 37 or fewer questions, you have 3 exams and 1 final and then quizzes but she provides study guides & review day. Take her!

She is by far the sweetest professor I've ever had! She is so caring and wants everyone to understand the problems and offers so much help if needed! Math has always been a struggle for me but the way she teaches helps me understand it better. I highly recommend you take her class, she is awesome!!! I would rate her higher than a 5 if I could!

LOVED Professor McCormick! Her lectures are super clear and easy to follow. She always makes sure everyone is on the same page before continuing. Homework is on Aleks and due once a week. If you ever have the opportunity to take her, I cannot recommend her enough!

Good teacher, very hands on and wants her students to succeed. Attendance is mandatory and part of the grade. Show up to class and so your homework and you will do solid in her class.

She is amazing, I had an emergency and she took care of me. She's a great professor and is super nice. She is great. The class is not the easiest, but it's a lot easier with her. Make sure to do ALEKS!

I would take Mrs. McCormick a million times if I could. Her class was one of the easiest math classes I have ever taken. She has notes that she would post on D2L if you happened to miss class & she's always thorough. Attendance is a small percentage of your grade and there is weekly ALEKS homework. A few quizzes and tests, but nothing too hard.

Very understanding professor. One of the best at KSU. If you struggle in math, she is amazing at teaching it in a very comprehensive way. I really enjoyed this class and while it was an earlier class, I never wanted to miss it because she was such a joy and her classes were very beneficial. I highly recommend her.

This woman is a saint and is so good at her job. She is truly one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Her patience and ability to explain the material makes her class enjoyable.

Professor McCormick is a different breed! She helps you through everything and is so understanding. I aspire to be just like her in every sense of life.

If you're good at math, its easy. If you're bad at math, its still easy. This class reminded me much of high school algebra. HW was on aleks, but she never made you do the knowledge check and she gave you unlimited attempts on each homework question. Exams just like the HW as she will provide a study guide through the HW software aleks. Must take!

Professor McCormick is an absolute gem! Her classes are a breeze, with easy exams and helpful ALEKS homework. Unstuck ai has been a game-changer for staying on top of the material. Highly recommend this class, regardless of your math skills!
