Dr. Olko is a great teacher. She helps you a lot with whatever you need help with. She reminds you about extra credit every week so there is no excuse to not have it. Do the extra credit. It really helps

shes def a good teacher and easy grader but few things to look out for. she lies alot. she talks alot about things were gonna be doing that r fun but never get around to them. the class is usually pretty boring besides a couple days. alot of notes on overhead alot of writing enough to hurt your hand but if u take them down tests arent too bad

a GREAT teacher....i scheduled all my classes around the classes she was teaching. if you aren't a good test taker....she lets you do unlimited extra credit...no reason not to get an "a" in any of her classes. does good sigmund freud imitation too!!

She is the best professor, test every Fridays, and the test are easy as long you read your chapter that she assign for the week and 3 page midterm paper and 4 page final paper on any topic discusses for the term. I will say it is an easy class if you do the work, she's very helpful.

She is absolutely amazing. She is funny and animated. She gives tons of extra credit, so you could get an A even if you fail half her tests. But it is not hard to keep up in her class. Reading the textbook helps, but her notes are usually good enough. Just pay attention and take notes. Show up to class and you'll be fine. I would recommend her.

She's very helpful and gives unlimited extra credit. Her tests are very simple, she gives you a study review beforehand which consists of topics questioned and the essay question. Her lectures are very animated and entertaining. Her 3 hour classes flew by.

Caroline is amazing and funny! Our class met once a week and I never skipped one!. She has her notes on a projector and you copy them down. Theres no need to buy the textbook bc all of the material on tests is based off her notes. She gives out unlimited extra credit so theres no reason to not get an A. I thought she was so sweet. At the beginning of the semester, I hated psychology, but by the end, I just wanted to stay in her class. She kept lectures very interesting and was always there if you needed something. Barely had any tests and no midterm or cumulative final. Definitely recommend taking this class if you get her.

Not only an amazing professor but a caring professor as well, tells us that we are her family, the work is not bad at all, if you show up to class which she takes seriously you should have no problem getting a great grade in her class, nobody should leave here without taking at least one class of Dr. Olko's.

She's a really really nice professor. Gives tremendous amount of the extra credits even if one is doing horrible and can still get an A in this class. Each EC is worth 2 points max. She is a great professor! She gives unlimited extra credit. I did 40. If she sees you trying your best she will be there for you. She is very understanding and a sweetheart. She try's to bring her personal experience into the topics we learn about but it can make her get off topic. Students say there experiences to but It can drag the class down.

Awesome professor! I took human development online, two discussions a week, one test a week. A midterm paper & final paper. All her instructions are very clear, and she posts interesting questions for discussions. Do the work and this class is an easy A!

Prof. Olko is a sweet slightly older woman - but trust me you will not be bored. I took her class as a double once a week but it went by so fast, she puts notes on the board for you to copy down, and tells the most hysterical stories, and answers all questions. There are 4 non-cumulative test, and UNLIMITED E.C. She's such a with it, caring prof!

I took online psychology with her and shes just an amazing professor. Just make sure you read the chapters in the book as you go along and participate in the weekly discussions and youll do good. She gives a chance for extra credit at the end of the semester and drops the lowest test grade.

Highly recommend! Online PSY 213 was 1 discussion and 1 exam per week directly from the textbook. A midterm paper and final paper was also due. We worked directly from the syllabus and everything was so clear and easy to understand. Answers emails and questions quickly. Would definitely take again!

It was a 10-week class. There were a total of 8 quizzes, 10x2 discussions and 2 papers. The quiz has 20 MC questions. Discussions are based on the textbook and related topics of your own choice of video. The 2 papers are weighted 50%. She responds quickly. Work hard on the two papers to get an A. Quiz and discussions are comparatively easy.

Professor Olko is very helpful,works with you keeps you inspired to know more about psychology. She encouraged the class to set up a group chat so we can support each other. I must say with the pandemic plus I returned back to school after 20yrs. she had given me a helpful experience.

Such good energy, so happy, caring, reasonable work load & due dates, & very understanding. She makes everything so interesting and is so down to earth!

Professor Olko is the most caring and kind professor I have ever had. She is concerned about everyones mental health and well being with the pandemic going on. She encouraged the class (which has never even met in person, its always been on Zoom) to set up a Whats App group. Great professor too, and the class is interesting without being impossible

As a teacher, she is great. Caring, interesting, funny and anything else you'd want from a teacher. The work is simple and easy to manage (2 assignments per week and a quiz). The only thing that keeps me from leaving a 5 are the quizzes. It is frustrating when some of the questions are not in both the powerpoint or the text book.

Her online teaching skills is absolutely amazing. No one should fail this class

Prof. Olko is the most caring and nurturing professor. She really wants the best for all her students. If you do attend class and do the work you will do well.

She's a wonderful professor, if you don't do well on a test it doesn't matter because she grades on attendance. She's very helpful!

Prof. Olko is the SWEETEST !!!!! She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She explains all of the material thoroughly and knows how to keep your attention. Super friendly in and out of class. 10/10 seriously I learned so much from her this semester.

Prof Olko is sweet and caring. I took her class in the winter and online. It required us to write 2 essays and respond to a 20 question quiz daily, but nothing too crazy or hard. I'm currently taking another PSY class with her and it follows the same lines.

i took her online course. EASY A. every week expect the same routine: 5 days to do the discussion post and 2 days to do the quiz. material is fairly easy and straightforward. she is a very nice professor

Hands down the best psy professor NCC has to offer, she is truly an amazing professor. I would take her class over and over again if I had to. I learned sooo much from her class. I handed in some late assignments and she was very understanding . Her class is very fun.

Great Professor for Psychology. Weekly discussion, 5 tests and a fair final project. Weekly discussions felt like a therapy session. Would highly recommend taking her class.

Professor Olko is fantastic. She truly cares about both the subject she's teaching and her students. No homework but there are weekly tests and a final project. Just make sure you actually read the textbook because a lot of the test questions are from that. The final project is not as tough as it seems and she grades fairly.

Professor Olko is a GEM! What a wonderful, Caring, amazing professor. She gives funny great lectures and wants EVERYONE to do well. I had some problems and she listened and checked up on me- who does that? God bless you Professor. I want to be a teacher just like you. Best at NCC!

If you have a chance to take professor Olko's class DO IT! I took human lifespan development asynchronous. Weekly quizzes of 20 questions, weekly papers which were super straightforward & 1 final powerpoint project. She did not over complicate anything and she's super sweet.

Best professor ever, I took her for general psychology, her lectures are amazing the class consisted of every week one discussion post every weekend there's a 20 multiple choice exam, if you pay attention during her lectures you'll do great. I am taking her again next semester for lifespan human development and I am so excited!

Prof. Olko is a sweetheart! She is passionate about what she teaches and super understanding. If you are looking to take a psychology class and want a kind professor, she is the one! Work wise, there are weekly quizzes and discussion boards due Sunday nights but nothing too crazy. She's the type of professor who reminds me why I love psychology :)

Took her async class. I found the class super interesting and pretty easy. Assignments took me about an hour to complete or less, and there was an assignment once a week! There's a final project to do on a topic of your choice, which was fun. She's a nice professor and will respond to emails quickly. I'd take her if you get the chance to!

I took this class online so she responded to emails right away, We had a final exam that was pretty straight forward and if you need help she breaks the exam down to you

i would definitely take professor Olko anytime. she is very kind, she is very understanding. she makes classes interactive and is very straight forward. alsong as you keep up with discussion posts, you'll be fine in her class!

Professor Olko is a caring professor, I took her class online which I was initially fearful of but she stay true to what she post online and discusses everything during lecture. If you do all your work you're sure to get a good grade. Weekly tests and discussion board post are expected but if you do all your work you're sure to get a good grade.

Professor Olko is the BEST! I love her. She makes the class fun and interesting. She is SOOOO caring- treats you like family. I never had a Professor like her. I wish there were more like her- the world would be a better place! I want to be just like her! TAKE HER!!!!! You will be amazed! I hope she reads this and knows how special she is.

Can't say enough about Prof Olko! She is a beautiful soul that makes you feel like you are family to her. She explains things very well and you just need to do a paper and 1 test weekly. I would take her over and over again if I could. Definitely recommend!

What can I say about Prof Olko!!! Hands down THE BEST Professor I have ever come in contact with! The way she makes you feel like FAMILY is mind-blowing! I miss her already and the semester just ended! If I have other psych classes, she will be the one that I will rearrange my schedule with to have again as she is a blessing!
