worst teacher! she is barely aware that there are students in the room. she confuses herself during her lecture and is not personable at all. do not take this class with her!
She's the wong teacher to have...
She might get confused sometimes but her tests are really easy, multiple choice. Lectures are on the boring side. To pass you must attend every class, most of the test questions come from her notes not the book. Study and go to class and you will get atleast a B.
horrible
If her name appears on your schedule, you're better off bashing your head in with a hammer... or just changing the class, which ever one works best.
From my experience with her I think she is very nice and not difficult at all she gives you review papers to study with when a test comes up and most teachers will not let you do that. The part I love most about her is that she has a study session before

she is a wonderful teache. and she talks clear that you'll remember right away. and her tests and quizzes are not hard. if u read through a notes it helps u a lot on the tests.
she is nice but her tastes are totally difficult what she teaching in class and what's on exam. when i took my first exam she gave us review sheet it wasn't anything from it. so it was difficult for us.
shes a nice teacher.. but she is really boring and her quizzes suck.. her review doesnt help at all.. i wouldnt take her as a teacher, def not the greatest one....

she's so hard. when u take her think about it because her quizzes and tests are so hard. the review shhet that she gave us it's not helping us because it's totallt different from review. THINK ABOUT IT STUDENTS AGAIN.
HARD!!! This class is insane! I average about 4-6 pages of notes per class, and her tests are AWFUL! When the teacher has to put the "last day to drop the class" on the board prior to handing back tests, you know something is wrong. STUDENTS BEWARE!!!
I really liked her. She explains everything really well, and in her recitations she goes over exactly what is on the tests or quizzes. Her review sheets are also very helpful, and if you ever have any questions she's more than happy to help you. Not to mention she is so nice.
she talks very soft and its hard to stay awake i her class, but she is a nice teacher. her classes never helped me with the tests. i skipped almost every class and learned right out of the book and passed the course. the only part of class that helped me were the recitations.
WONG IS WRONG; ADD AN R TO HER LAST NAME!
I found her to be very nice and wanted her students to do well. She reviewed everything that would be on exams. She was hard but fair. You definitely need to study.
I ask for help she said it is up to you. You have to study for class 40 hours a week.
ok shes definately boring but very easy A.. if you want an A just take her class.. i missed almost half of the classes and got an A
If you go to class, copy what she writes on the board and fill out the handouts, you will have all of the answers to anything you will be asked on tests and quizzes. I rarely used the book. It's a hard course, but she makes it possible to do well. I thought she was fair and helpful.
she is a very nice person but very very boring and hard to follow...if you are good at memorization then take her, her tests and quizes do come from whatever she says(if you can follow her)...she does not know how to teach and she confuses herself...take crowder...he makes the class fun and makes sure you understand what he is teaching
A&P is hard enough on its own. You don't need a monotonous professor to add to that. I found that while we would have notes (on things she wouldn't even write down) it was hard to decipher what was really required to KNOW & would be tested on & what was just random information she felt like sharing. Goes off on tangents & makes a hard class HARDER.
bad teacher. the wrost ever. so hard. don't take her, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One word:Horrid!!! :(
if you want to fail the class, then sur take her!!! you will have a field day!!:)
nice lady but a bit too boring. Def need to come to class. Very hard but if you come to recitations and study a lot and you should get a C. I got an 86 on the last exam which was sadly 3rd highest in the entire class.
Honestly...this woman confuses herself constantly. Paces back and forth in front of the board and made me so sick I just dropped the course! Don't think you can rely on her notes or hand-outs,it's just a lost cause...trust me!
Unbelievably unfair, she was a terrible teacher
She's a nice person, but you NEED to study her notes for her tests and quizzes. There is NO extra credit or anything, strictly graded on tests, quizzes and lab tests. Definitely mandatory to go to class and take her notes! And studying is def a must or you wont understand the class/tests/quizzes.
This was y first A&P class and it was a nightmare i took all the notes studies like crazy and still seemed to do poorly. Her notes don't correspond with the test and quizzes and she was as boring as watching paint dry. I don't recommend this teacher at all
She does have the capacity to be montonous and confusing, but if you only notate what she covers in class, there is no need to open your book. I brought in a laptop to type notes, bc it was easier to keep up. All tests multiple choice with a few matching. She's a hard grader, so know your stuff. No extra credit.

She is not as bad as everyone is saying. She loves what she does and expects everyone to attempt to love it too. Attendance is mandatory to get a descent grade. I was aiming for an A and I got it, so it can be done. You have to be a diligent w/ note taking. Overall i like her enough to take her again.
BEST Gives good notes and test and quizes are from notes
Very hard class. No-nonsense teacher. Doesn't tolerate talking or cell phones. Writes her notes in the most confusing way possible. She advised me to drop the course when I was averaging a C, I decided not to take her advise and ended up with a C+ (and I'm a straight A student).
In all honesty, she is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. I try SO hard to study the notes and handouts, and she always throws things in on exams that she may have only mentioned once. she seems like an okay person, but as a teacher, she is pretty clueless. it's impossible to be prepared for everything in the class, becuase it's unfair.
she talks way too quiet. repeats herself an annoying amount of times. and she keeps you 10 minutes after to repeat the things she just said. dont take her. shes lame.
As I straight A student and proud member of Phi Theta Kappa, I think I am a good judge of teaching and ability to learn. This professor is impossible! You put in all the effort to study and the quiz and test will have things she mentioned briefly and are not in the book! Do not take Wong if you like your GPA!
Do not miss one class because she lectures on things that are not in the book or contradict the book. Test/Quizzes do have questions that she mentioned in passing and not what she concentrated on. I had a B+ and the final killed me.
Please, DON'T get cocky like I did and ignore the comments on here about Wong. She is nearly impossible, which does sound ridiculous but it really is true. If you get stuck with her, my only advice is to study hard and don't get disappointed if you fail her quizzes or tests anyway. You're not alone.
Shes a No-Nonsense teacher. Though all of the stuff you need to know is in the notes. I do suggest reading the book , or at least skimming through it to get a better grasp of the material. Got a B+ Shes puts the barrier between student and teacher from the beginning. Shes there to teach and nothing more. Reviews before tests are nice though!
Not that bad. Take notes that she writes and study them. Took both halves and never opened the book. She is straightforward and no nonsense, but this IS college. You have to be accountable for yourself. She is NOT going to hand you a good grade.
Speaks very low, and her tests do not come from the notes. I had to use the book to put it all together. She must have her mind somewhere else, because I got the feeling she was distracted.
Everyone needs to relax a little. If you study hard and take good notes, you will do well. You have to work for your A.
Ok people listen up. Professor Wong is a tough cookie. If you do your work and study hard you will pass. I took for a 6 week course and it was extremely tough, class was 9 to 415 in the afternoon. By the end of the semester more than half the class had dropped. Due your work and you'll be fine. I passed with a B. Good luck guys
Wong was a great teacher i took her in the summer for a&p and all of her notes were word for word for tests and quizzes. take good notes, study, and you should get an a
I had Mrs. Wong for the Fall Semester. If you want a good grade come to class and take good notes. She's hard but also helpful. I got a B+ and did well on her final.I would take her for Bio 112
Very hard to understand. Notes are not clear and do not follow the textbook. Quizzes are confusing and material not reviewed with students prior to exams.
Professor Wong is tough, but takes quizzes from notes. Listen to her hints of what to know, take good notes, and study and you will do well. If you are not doing well, change your study technique.
Wong's class was medium-hard. Quizzes every week, 3 exams. If you study from your notes you'll be okay.
Mrs. Wong is a pretty straight forward professor. Bio 111 in general is a difficult course. In order to pass this class, write down everything she says in lecture and only study from your notes. Her exams are easy if you study. Don't take her quizzes lightly, but she drops your 2 lowest grades. I got an A in her class, just study and pay attention.
Mrs Wong, a very sweet, caring teacher. She was a very helpful professor. If you care, she cares! Thanks for all the help Mrs. Wong :-)
Professor Wong is a nice teacher but she is hard to understand. I got a D in her class and I never missed one class, I studied and took notes but she did not explain things well or clear enough which caused me to not understand the content.
She is a nice teacher . all the notes she writes are on the board she will use on the quizzes & exams(even the most random thing). you really don't need the text book. SPELLING is IMPORTANT for quizzes.study all your notes and you should pass just fine.
I thought Professor Wong was excellent. Quizzes and Exams are EXACTLY from her notes. Never used the book. I wish I had taken her for Bio 112. Study hard and you will be sure to pass. I ended up with an A- :)
I would not take her again. Although she is nice and tries to make jokes, she is hard to understand and she also gives notes that are all over the place. She tells you something will not be on the quiz, but it winds up being on there. She can be very confusing and disorganized. When approached for a question I felt intimidated by her.
Professor Wong was a nice lady but her lectures were extremely disorganized! The notes were hard to understand and it was hard to get in contact with her for help. She jumps around way too much and her tests do not resemble much material learned in class. I would not take her again
I took BIOL 111 and 112 with Mrs. Wong, and so I know she's a great teacher. A&P is a hard subject, but she makes everything simple to understand. Plus she's helpful answering questions before or after class. To get an A, just take good notes, and study them for quizzes and tests. The book is helpful but not necessary.
Professor Wong is an excellent teacher. The quizzes and exams come right from the notes she gives in class. I think I cracked the book once to see a picture, and I got an A for the course. Anatomy is hard, but as long as you show up and pay attention in class, she will definitely prepare you to move forward.
She is very unorganized and confusing. She tries to me nice, but cannot connect with the students. I honestly don't think she knows what she is talking about.
Tough but very sweet lady. ANP is a tough subject due to all the information and memorization. Take great class notes on lectures. Review all notes before next class to prepare for quizzes. Study early before exam she covers a lot of details. You have to work but she is very fair.
She is a good teacher and knows what she's talking about. I had her in the 6 week course so it was very intense and fast. You have to keep up with the material and start studying almost when you get out of class. Her tests are right out of the notes. She is not as bad as people say on here you just have to work hard and you will be fine!
Be prepared for class, take down notes, study every night and you will be just fine!
She is tough! I enjoyed her class and I am taking her again. If you are lazy and don't want to learn the material do not take her. Do not miss a class there is a lot of information in one single class. Again this is college don't be lazy and don't blame the professor for your lack of responsibility.
Dr Wong was tough, but very fair. Had A&P1 with her, then took 2 right after in the summer 6 week. Take verbatim notes from the board and study them. I never took the wrapper off of the book. She will drop 2 quiz grades, but you MUST show up and turn off the phones! Work for it and you will not only pass, but you will know the material!
Still uses an overhead projector. Takes a few days to respond to emails. Exams are directly from her notes, which I wish she would post before classes. Doesn't seem to actually know Anatomy besides what's on her PowerPoints. (gets stumped easily by student questions not from her notes) Nice lady but I wouldn't recommend her section.
She is a very nice lady but not a great professor. She gave quizzes every class and made the questions so tricky on them. She is not specific on what you will be tested on. Doesn't believe in extra credit and doesn't give much help. She is not interactive with students at all and in order to pass you need to memorize everything.
Professor Wong was tough to follow at first. Once you learn her teaching style its pretty much cut and dry. She tells you in the beginning of the semester that note cards are helpful when learning her information. I will 100% back this up, once I started using note cards I ended up getting A's on the weekly quizzes.
She is the nicest person in the world who knows her information extremely well. However, she moves very fast and has a very strict and non-flexible grading policy. You need to devote more than 20 hours extra per week for her class to pass her exams and almost 10 hours a week extra for lab memorization.
She doesnt know the importance of explaining things in depth. Also, if you take this prof. be prepared to learn things you wont EVER need to know. Yup, they dont even pop up on the tests! She seems often confused by what she does and does not know and she seems to lack the teaching skills for a high class average. do not take her. youll regret it!
I took professor Wong in the summer. Did not have any quizzes because it was a shortened course. There is a lot of material in that 10 week period. But if you make flashcards and memorize EVERYTHING she writes down you will do fine. Some things can be hard to grasp in the classroom. So see her after class which really helped me. got an A.
She was really nice and she wants you to succeed. You can see her during her office hours and she is really helpful. She writes on the board all the time so take all the notes you can and write down what she says. You will have a quiz at the beginning of every class so be on time.
LOL I can not understand for the life of me some of these reviews that were written. This class is so cut and dry! This is how Wongs class works. You show up, you write down everything she writes on the board, you go home and memorize it, you come back to next class and take a quiz, if you memorize everything she wrote down, you pass!
Professor Wong has been the best professor I have encountered so far. She is VERY helpful as she guides through Anatomy I. The course is far from easy but Wong was definitely worth taking the course to prepare you for the TEAS test. The studying is on you but all tests and quizzes are straight forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Worst professor I have ever encountered at Brookdal. Has no idea what shes teaching and still uses overhead projector. Anatomy and physiology is a difficult subject. Wong makes it harder. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GPA
Although some people may say she's difficult and she doesn't know what she's teaching. She's really straight forward with her material. She gives hand outs and test reviews which tell you exactly what you need to know! study the material she lectures and you'll pass with no problem!
really nice lady, knows what she's talking about. gives quizzes every week so make sure you memorize EVERYTHING in your notes, but it's pretty clear cut. she's great at explaining any questions you have but taking good notes is a muuussttt
She knows what she is talking about and everything she tests you on is in her lectures. Dont miss a quiz because you cant make them up but shes does drop two of the quiz grades which is good. Although she is a good professor, patience is a must because the lectures are lengthy and very heavy on notes. As long as you show up and stay youll pass.
I chose professor Wong because she had a decent rating. She is definitely lecture heavy, which is not a problem if you are in the medical field or in the pursuit of one. My problem was she did not answer ANY questions thoroughly, in lecture and outside of it. The notes she gave were not always as thorough as she would ask the questions on the test
Wong is super nice and explains concepts really well. Go to class and you'll be just fine. I was taking this class over again to qualify it for nursing school (got an A the first time too). Wong mumbles and lectures pretty slow for my personal pace but as long as you go to class you'll have no issues getting an A.
Professor Wong is a really good professor. Her lectures are very thorough. The class is difficult so in order to achieve a decent grade you MUST study. All the material from the quizzes and tests come from the notes. She also gave extra credit to boost your test grade.
The material is interesting and hard. For lecture though, I had a 94. Study day and night. You dont need the book. But, make sure to understand everything she says
Teaches like we are fifth graders. She spends more time teaching things we won't be tested on than actually useful information. Lectures after exams and will begin a new topic in the last 15 minutes of class. Very unclear with student questions. Do not take this professor.
Wong is a very straightforward science professor. Anyone who says she's difficult or unclear about material either didn't pay attention, or didn't study enough. Attend every class, take lots of notes, memorize everything, and you'll do great on her tests. Doesn't matter which prof. you take, A&P is all about the hours you put in outside of class.
Wong is super straightforward. Every lecture you will write down everything she does on the board because there are no powerpoints. If you skip class, you will need to get the notes from someone. Quizzes are given every class on the previous lecture and they are fairly easy if you pay attention and take good notes. These really help wit the exam.
I took her for BIOL 111. She was very precise on what she wanted you to know and told you what would be on the quizzes. She taught from a projector and didn't open the book once, she will tell you not to buy it. Her lectures are long but she is very passionate about her teaching and she is fair.
3-4 pages of notes from the lecture just to take weekly quizzes that are 10 questions. If you aren't a good test taker then do not pick her for your class. You need to spend around 10-20 hours of studying per week. Even with this i'm still not doing good.
She is what most of the posts say but takes the entire class period or more to get through a few topics. She takes too long for me so I prefer a professor who is cut & dry and on to the next. In A&P you're always studying anyways so if you're not putting in the work, you're the reason you're failing. Those quizzes were annoying though.
Professor Wong is very straight forward with her lectures. She writes everything down on the board you will need to know. I did not open the textbook one time. You need to spend A LOT of time studying, your grade will reflect on it. Definitely don't skip class if you want to pass. Quizzes first ten min of class and she drops the two lowest grades.
Will never take again, 10 question quizzes every week for 30+ power point slides, will not stop talking the ENTIRE class (starting new material with 5-10 mins left) as for moving online due to covid-19 she would remove the PowerPoint lectures so you would be at a loss if you didnt get them. Expected us to go to a bio seminar with covid-19 LOL JOKE
Absolutely horrible, talked to us like we were in middle school, didnt seem to care whatsoever, pages upon pages of notes for 10 question quizzes and forget about the tests. Beware.
Professor Wong was very rude with me when I reached out to her in regard to my grade. She decided to switch things up during the pandemic and give us 7 open ended questions per exam instead of 67 multiple choice (as per the syllabus). My last exam she gave me a 50% ! Shes a tough grader. I wouldnt recommend her as a professor at all!!!
She teaches in all scientific terms and when you arent doing well and seek help she brushes you off and doesnt care to help you at all. There is no class involvement its just listen to her talk and write notes for 2 hours for a new quiz every week. Whats worse is she seems to believe shes generous with grading and not giving you anything hard.
Professor Wong is an incredible professor. This class is definitely a lot of studying and work, but it is a tough subject. She never tests you on anything she didn't say in lecture which is nice because you don't need to purchase the textbook to do well. I think she is kind, fair, and extremely knowledge. I admire her vast knowledge on the subject
Professor Wong is awesome. I would take her again in an instant.
Anyone who complains about her class didn't try hard enough. The class is so cut and dry. Study and memorize everything in the lectures and you'll get an A. I studied A LOT and put the time in for my grade but I learned a lot. Lectures can be boring but she' the best and will answer questions. Quizzes every week, use index cards!!!
Great teacher overall. Explains everything perfectly and all information on exams and quizzes were explained in lecture thoroughly.
I can not recommend this professor at all. Quiz every week and even if I studied for hours there were always questions that weren't on power point or we didnt discuss. Many students were called out for cheating on quizzes. clearly doesn't it say something if kids couldn't pass without cheating? NOT a fan of this prof for online courses
Reads off powerpoint. To pass class you must memorize everything on the powerpoints+.
Quizzes and Tests are very specific and have to pay attention to the lectures to you won't do well on the exam. Not everything on the PowerPoint will be on the test/quiz. You're going to have to listen to everything she says, I mean everything, or you won't do well. The only class I have ever struggled with during my freshmen year.
Professor Wong was amazing! Ive taken her for bio 111 and 112. She is a fair grader and does give extra credit. Lectures are long and hard but she based all quizzes and tests off of the lecture and slides. She is overall an amazing professor and I would recommend her class for people who arent afraid to do the extra work to get a passing grade!
Professor Wong to me was just overall great. I attended her zooms for help in order to get feedback and go over what i found difficult to understand, she helped me and even tested me by asking me questions. Quizzes and exams are based off notes taken and powerpoint. If you study, make time to meet with her on zoom, be on time you will ace her class
A&P is a difficult subject and a lot of memorization is involved yet Professor Wong wants all her students to do well. Lectures can be a bit long and sometimes a bit monotone but she records the lecture if you ever need to re-watch it again and take more detailed notes. She encourages students to ask questions and is more than happy to answer them.
She's OK. Her lectures were long and monotone, which is something you don't want in a 7:30 a.m. class. A lot of memorization is required and her exams are based on the lectures. She's not terrible, but I would recommend finding a different professor for this course.
She was definitely not a great lecture teacher especially not online, anatomy and physiology is already a hard class, she makes it harder and at one point she even said to my class "wow this is a lot of things to remember, but you guys got this" definitely not empathetic at all
This class was very easy. You don't need a textbook since her tests are based on her lectures. However, this means you need to attend every lecture or else you will not pass the test. She takes the entire time slot in order to explain every detail and emphasizes key parts. I prefer online remote live if you need to rewatch a lecture.
Def cares about biology but her class is very difficult. Our class test average was a 60. She gave powerpoints and just read off of them, but you need to know way more than just whats written on them. Her study guides have nothing to do with the exams, which is frustrating because there are only 3 grades all semester & u need 65% for credit.
Make friends if you feel you will not come to classes. Her notes are a must need for you to do well. She is very easy going and has time to teach and help you if need be. You need to put in the work, know you study habits, and them branch out for help if you feel unconfident. Answer the questions given on the slides and go over the study guide.
Professor Wong is a great professor, her lectures are long but necessary to explain the complex topics of A&P. She is extremely knowledgable in what she teaches and her exams are all material she teaches in class, no surprises. If you attend her lectures and do the appropriate amount of studying for this type of course, you'll succeed in her class.
This class is a lot of memorization, there are only 3 tests, and 3 hour lectures. She is LECTURE HEAVY. There is a 5 minute break during every class, but it is not long enough. She's not a bad teacher, but the way the class is set up is not ideal. 75% lecture and 25% lab. Lecture is hard, be ready to study every night and rewatch 3 hour lectures.
I loved taking A&P 2 with Professor Wong! Her exams are based on lectures, and she is very clear and detailed in class. We only met once a week, so expect to sit for almost 3 hours. I had the textbook but only used it for reference. She would review material for 15-30 minutes before exams. Utilize the exam review sheets and PowerPoint questions!
Do NOT take this class if you are not willing to give 100% effort to it. Professor Wong is amazing at lectures and makes sure to make them interesting to listen to. Everything on the test is taught in lectures. You do have to listen closely though. I already registered to take her Anatomy 2 course because I loved her teaching style!
Only 3 tests the entire semester no hw or other credit. Takes attendance mid test... always saying that her class is probably not going to make it to BIO 112! she is a horrible teacher throws information at us... do not take this professor total waste of money. I truly do know how she is a professor she is horible!!!!!!!!
I took this class while I was pregnant. She gives us two opportunities to do extra credit so when the first one came, I signed up. I could not attend that zoom meeting for the extra credit bc of the fact that I was throwing up that day. I asked her if I could have the alternative assignment for the extra credit and explained why and she refused.
This course has so much opportunity for engaging discussions about the human body, but Professor Wong is only here to grill in the granular, technical details. Lessons are only audible through the lectures, as slides are very minimal. Her organization of info in each chapters are messy. Take notes and memorize every single thing she says to pass.
Sometimes she goes way too much into unnecessary detail but everything she teaches is on the exams, so no surprises. Clearly likes her job and knows her stuff. Extra Credit assignments are also available. Take good notes and your good.
Professor Wong absolutely knows her stuff, but FR load up on caffeine before her lectures. Brings lots of space for notes, laptop or tablet would be better because she goes back in her slides to add more info a lot. Lots of her slides also don't have the info written in before she marks it on the board so make a friend in case you miss class.
I really only recommend taking her classes if you want to hate your life. Only grades are tests. PowerPoints are picture heavy and she spends a lot of time on them but no pictures on exam. Whoever said load up on caffeine, so right. I sat front and center and still fell asleep.
Prof Wong tests are tough but you're given a checklist of everything that will be covered. Open-ended questions can be difficult so be prepared to understand and explain key concepts. Take advantage of all extra credit as the points are added to your test scores & can make a difference if between grades. Text is not used so don't miss lectures!
Professor Wong is a very sweet lady, but she delivers her lectures like she is reading aloud from the instruction booklet for a stereo system. She very seldom stops to involve the class to reinforce understanding the material. Her "reviews" are held 30 minutes before an exam very difficult to retain any important concepts for studying.
Speaks too slow. Doesn't care about students. Thinks all her students are cheating during exams. Run far away from her.
Prof Wong is a QUEEN! This is my second tome taking anatomy and she is the only person that i can understand. Her classes are way harder than other anatomys but she overexplains everything so its still easier to remember. Only take this class if u can sit 4 hour lectures w no break tho:/ Its rough but worth it
No quizzes, homework or extra credit. Professor Wong will go over the material and if you really want to pass you must go over the SLIDES! Study guide is basically the slides on canvas. If you don't study the slides or any material you will not make it through this class. There is no leaving early and lecture continues after each exams.
her lectures are boring and heavy on information. she will explain the topics until you understand
Wong was confusing at times, I took this course and didnt know what I got myself into. Her class is based on tests only. The lecture powerpoints are confusing and tend to have unessary information in them. she cares for her students but when people dont want to put the work in they fail. Be prepared to put at least 20 hours of work in before tests.
The class is really hard. The tests are based on her lectures so pay a lot of attention, for the three tests I found that there were at least 2 questions that we did not talk about in the lectures. Be prepared to study, I did not study for the first exam and that was what made my whole grade drop.
Her lectures are very straight forward and she writes down everything important that's not on the slides on the white board. Her exams are based on exactly what she teaches, so just pay attention and take good notes. She gives no homework and has very helpful practice quizzes that are not counted for a grade. Great teacher!
The tests were hard; the wording was bad. I took her office hours, but they did not help. And I got tutoring from an outside source. Not forgiving, I wish she could provide examples w/ her material. I failed 2 out of 4 exams and barely passed one. I have to retake this whole course. Only two extra credit question essays to help with grades.
Professor Wong's class is tough, but using resources like Unstuckstudy alongside diligent note-taking can really help. Attend every lecture, as the tests are based on them. With effort, you can do well.
She is one of the best professors I've ever had. Goes so into detail that I barely need to study bc all the info is already wired into my brain! For all the ppl complaining about her difficulty level... git gud!!!
I LOVE Professor Wong! She is LECTURE HEAVY- and goes by the PPTs for all her exams. Sometimes, she overexplains things, but she's VERY clear on things that will be on her exams. Overall, she is a lovely woman, very smart, and available if you have any issues. INSIDE TIP: Sit as close to the front of the class as possible. She speaks softly!
All I have to say is "ALL HAIL THE ALL-KNOWING MRS. WONG!"
If you copy exactly what she writes on the board, you'll do great in her class. Lecture heavy, no HW, only 3 tests for the whole grade. Sit up front, she talks very quietly. DON'T MISS CLASS or you'll be lost. Very detailed which can be a bit overwhelming, but tests are exactly what she teaches you. BIG lectures, LOTS of info, really pay attention.
This professor is tougher, but really great. You need to study 1 or 2 hours a day if you want to do well. Her PowerPoints are heavy with information, but she always tells you what to focus on for the exams—so pay attention when she says “make sure you know this.” She explains everything in detail, so don't skip her lectures.
The professor was unclear and disorganized. Exams had 67 questions and you only had an hour. She gave too much material to study, but the test only focused on small parts. She often rambled in class, then said not to pay attention to the rambling. No quizzes and barely any extra credit. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone!!
I love her so much!! The material is really hard but she really prepares you!! If you attend lectures and pay attention things are easy. She gives hints on what's on the exams and sometimes gives extra credit essays on exams. She is a great teacher and there are no surprise questions on exams.
Put the work in and do well. Tests are straightforward and not trying to trick you but you have to study. She gives hints about what would be on the tests or what the matching/essay questions might be. Tests are MC and matching. Lecture heavy. Her ppts were helpful to me bc you had to fill in information based on her lecture and kept me engaged.
She wasn't bad. But she wasn't great. Very lecture heavy - I had her in a 3.5-hour long class, and she would rarely give us breaks in between. She doesn't incorporate other activities into her lectures, for those who like that. She wasn't my type of teacher, personally; I would not take her again. Study, and maybe you'll do better than I did.
There's only three test, and she really only gives notes out which you have to be present if ur not, ur only reliable resource are your peers. She gives small quizzes which barely saves ur grades, and test are 67 questions. No curves. If you believe you can memorize all her presentations while she talks low, go for it. I'm not a fan of her.
Attend Lecture and write down everything she writes on the board, follow along with the powerpoint and rewrite everything for reinforcement & add in whatever she writes and/or mentions during lecture pertaining to each slide. Study the notes and have it down and you will do well on the exams. No homework which is a plus if you're time constrained
The worst professor I have ever taken at Brookdale. I think she is a sweet woman but her lectures were BEYOND boring. So hard to stay awake during her lectures. She doesn't offer any quizzes or extra credit. Your grade is solely based off of the four unit exams. Everything seemed so condensed and so rushed even though it was a fifteen week course.
