This is the worst prof. I ever had in my life. DON'T take her class. She gives surprisses quizzes and likes to degrade her students when they do bad. She is a dream killer,esepcilaay if u want to be a nurse. She makes sure u don't get into the nursing program. When she is finished with you, you want to leave mec and change your mind about nursing.

Prof B, is extremely well intentioned. However the path to hell is paved with good intention. She has a very poor command of the English language and limited ability to explain concepts. She is not a bad person but she is an awful teacher. She is extremely moody and often goes off topic. For example long lectures about her juicer, voodoo etc

With a graduation rate of 11%, it is no wonder why a large percentage of students transfer out of here. Dr. Bolnet is not a good professor and always challenges students especially in a defensive manner. She also has a bad habit of misplacing student's exams and other assignements. Students, please STAY AWAY from her.

I have taken A&P 1&2, Bio,Chem, some pretty intense classes & had no problem. I decided to take this class bc it was in the am-BIG mistake! Bolnet doesn't cover what's on the syllabus. She's also condescending when asked to clarify something she "explains". Save yourself stress & a migrane and take another professor. You'll regret it if you don't!

I took this class because it was required. Although I registered late I was stuck with this professor. I did not learn anything in this course and the class failed all of her exams. Teaching style is horrible.

Hardly used the textbook. Wasted a large amount of money purchasing the book and learned nothing.

I sat in front of her class the very first day and she embarrassed me by saying that I did not want to comb my hair. It was puzzling because I really didn't understand what my hair had to do with learning the course. Very rude.

Professor Bolnets teaching style is strict. She does not convey the material clearly, as she has a thick accent and her handwriting is not clear. Her style is to tell you what to look at (either her or your book), and when. She doesnt respond to questions, but rather reacts with force.

To be honest, I would not take this professor again. She does not give feedback on tests, nor does she give review material for tests. There is no Blackboard material for the class. Bolnet does not respond to questions in a kind manner. She will not accept correct answers if they do not fit her mold, even if the book can prove otherwise.

Tough grader: Even when you get the question right by the book, if it is not right by Bolnet's terms, it's not right. As a student of the 2019 Microbiology class with Dr. Bolnet, I will warn you not to take this professor. She focuses on the discrete, not the big picture. If you want to learn about microbiology, do not take this horrible professor. The biology department is a mess at Medgar, due to Dr. Bolnet. One more time: DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

Prof. Bolnet is a bad teacher. This common knowledge among Bio students. Students need to direct their dissatisfaction at the department. Sometimes students are to blame, but not in this case. Either take another professor, or take the course at another school. Do not take a course with this professor.

There aren't many positives with Carolle Bolnet. She has an extremely demeaning way of interacting with her students. She doesn't teach in an understandable way. Her accent is so thick and handwriting so bad that the overall experience is bad for education. I'm leaving Medgar Evers because of this teacher.

She can barely speak English, which makes the class hard. Bolnet will get mad when you ask questions. Don't take her, for the love of Jesus.

Dr. Bolnet cares about failing you. She will fail you if you look at her incorrectly. She glares at students with such burning scorn that it is hilarious. Dr. Bolnet is the reason Medgar Ever's widow called Medgar Evers College an embarrassment.

Possibly the worst Professor of all time, because of her emphasis on maleficence. She bragged about her salary, spoke in unintelligible english, and wasted time picking on students. This is not the microbiology professor to take. Period.
