I love Dr. John-Carbon. She brings a passion for the subject to every class and has clear grading criteria. If you pay attention and answer questions in class, you will collect extra points and do well on the quizzes and tests. The midterm and final are worth a huge amount of your grade, but she prepares you for them really well so don't worry.

She really does want students to succeed, she gives opportunities to earn extra points for answering questions in class, those points can be used for participation, and sometimes tests if there's extra. There are weekly quizzes, although they help immensely when studying for midterms and the final.

A challenging class however you can still get a good grade if you participate, attend class and perform well in the exams which are worth over 50% of your grade. The professor has great real world experience, be prepared to dedicate a lot of your time to this class.

Professor John-Carbon wants you to succeed in her class. The material is sometimes dry but she tries to make it fun. Exams make up almost 60% of your grade so you have to pay attention and come to class. One complaint is that she makes you stay for the entire class period even when the lecture finishes early.

This has been my favorite course in college because of the classroom environment and Dr. Carbon!

Professor John-Carbon had the best lectures. She made sure everyone was focused and gave extra credit on speaking.

Dr. John-Carbon is an excellent educator and takes pride in her students' success in this course. The ECON-460 course covered challenging concepts, but the students were well equipped through great lectures and plenty of review before exams. Would definitely take again.

Dr. John-carbon is a great professor. She cares about each student making an effort to know everyone. Good listener and very patient. Creates very useful slides labeling what you'll need to know for homework and for exams

I love Professor John-Carbon, she is my favorite person in the whole world! Her class is super easy if you follow along, and she will tell you what is on the exam! She makes sure every student understands what she is talking about, and if you don't, she will find a way to make sure you understand. She really goes above and beyond always!

Professor John-Carbon gave enthralling lectures and invited students to participate. The exams were straight forward and the lectures were understandable.

She is fantastic! She gives lots of extra credit opportunities! I would highly recommend especially for this hard of a class.

She is the best professor here. Attendance is a quiz on Tuesday, and if you speak up in class, you get a point every time. Lit Class!!!!

Carbon is the GOAT. She cares so much about students, does her best to make class fun, and wants to see students succeed. But this class is not easy. As long as you show up, pay attention, and ask questions, there should be no reason for you to fail the class. Carbon is the best.

Dr. Carbon is probably one of the best professors you will take at GCU! Highly recommend if you care about learning the material and not wanting to coast through a class. She deeply cares about her students and their futures. She also offers amazing industry insight and advice!

She knows what she is doing, cares about the students and wants them to actually learn. She has a strong personality it takes some getting used to but she is a genuine human being who cares.

If you want to engage and learn, this is the best class to do so in. I learned more in two lectures than I have in some full semesters and I actually enjoyed it.

She does an amazing job getting students involved in every class. She really cares about students and their future and it's evident by her encouragement for students to push towards learning outside of their comfort zones. She is very knowledgable and brings a strong element of real world experience in her teaching which was extremely helpful. GOAT

Super energetic professor. She will call on people quite often but you get extra credit for answering questions.

One of the best professors I have taken at GCU. She cares about her students and does her best for you to succeed. If you fail her class, it will not be because she didn't do enough for you.

Have never written a RMP review before, but this professor deserves it. Prof. Carbon showed care and devotion to her students from day 1. Participation is important but if you are good at studying material for exams, feel free to skip here and there. At least once a week there are chapter quizzes which are fairly easy and easy way to get points.

Dr Carbon is AWESOME. She gives out extra credit points just for talking in her class whether you get it right or not. She truly cares about her students and wants to help do everything she can for you to succeed. Definitely take her class if you have the opportunity to because she's the BEST!

Dr. Carbon was amazing! One of the best professors at GCU by far. She is willing to go the extra mile to help you out and wants nothing more than for you to succeed in her class and in life. She is someone I definitely would recommend for this course and any other chance you have to take a class with her!

Very nice professor to have. Opportunities for extra credit during classes and the day before exams. Homework for every chapter but not hard.

She is a great teacher who genuinely cares about her students. She gives an extra credit point for participating, but you dont have to. Tuesday are quick quizzes with also a plus for extra credit and participation. She goes over the material really well and if you don't fully understand she will gladly go over it again and not judge you. Take Her!

Never done this before. Lot of free points on the board if you wanna participate and always raise your hand. No other professor gives points out like candy, so I would take if you gotta take an ECON class cuz she makes it better.

She is incredibly professional, caring, and truly wants every student to succeed. Her teaching style is clear and organized, and she explains the material in a way that's easy to understand. She communicates well, creates a supportive environment, and always goes the extra mile. She is my favorite professor I've had at GCU.

Dr. Carbon made FIN-355 a great class. The only reason she got a 3 for difficulty is because its a tough class, but she made it much better. She is always willing to help and loves being close to her students.

Dr, Carbon is a caring and engaging professor. FIN-355 is a content heavy class but Dr. Carbon does a good job in making sure class is engaging and interesting for her students. Participation matters a lot but is well worth it as students can earn extra points by answering questions. I would take her again and would recommend her to others.
