Her stories relates to the course materials which is very helpful because the book is not very fun to read. Although, she may talk a little too much about herself, overall its a good class and because of her bg in marketing and advertising, it gives you a good insight on what marketing is really about. Recommend students to take her class.

At first glance, she's an unorthodox professor, but her teaching style is very proficient and interesting; my night class was 1.5 hrs as apposed to 3 hrs. Carolyns teaching style gets the students engaged and the learning experience is much much better. She has very obvious mood swings so make sure you adjust to it quickly or you won't benefit from her class. Its great that she pushes us to public speak but she doesn't lead by example in that aspect ex. hand gesters (which she does alot)
