Sister Garner is great. Her class is a little harder than some, but she is very helpful and usually has five+ minutes after class for any questions you want to personally ask. She gives lots of resources and is just a really nice lady. Ive never been good at math and only barely passed her class, but I would definitely recommend her. Great Lady!

Sister Garner was, friendly, approachable, gave extra credit, and wants you to succeed in her class. She usually ends class a little early so you can work on homework or leave. She does give busy work from the book, but the answers are all in the back or she gives you the copies of the book with the answers. I'd take another class from her.

Sister Garner is awesome! She does expect you to work but she is always there to help. She will even work with you on your grade if you're not happy with it! Totally recommend her!!

She is an amazing teacher! I have never gotten more out of a math class, she clarifies everything so that you understand it, and gives you tons of opportunities to pass the class. I would take every class from her if i could.

Math is definitely not my strong suit but Sis. Garner was amazing. She is more than willing to help you any time you need her. She is patient, kind and can teach EXTREMELY efficiently. If your taking Real World MATH I highly recommend this teacher.

Very helpful teacher! You need to keep up with the work, which isn't abnormally a lot. Tons of extra credit opportunities. If you keep up with the daily work (which really isn't a lot), you'll definitely score an A. She keeps things simple and organized. She'll work with you if you need help.

I did her hybrid class, but it wasn't that hard (but I'm pretty good at math). Willing to help you whether by email or phone & She's good at explaining things; she really strives to care about her students. As far as the pre-quizzes, she expects you to look at the back of the book. I'd say definitely take her. she's pretty easy, and pretty awesome.

I loved Sister Garner! She is so helpful and willing to take time after class to review material. I found the tests were more tricky than they needed to be, but there's sufficient time to prepare and study beforehand. Overall, a very fair and friendly teacher!

Sister Garner is an amazing teacher and person! I loved attending her class. I took the hybrid class (1 90-minute class per week) and was amazed at what she could fit in during just 90 minutes. For my learning style, the way she explained was extremely clear, more so than any math teacher I've had. She cares and is always willing to help.

Sister Garner is great! I took the Harris class and she does a great job of using the hour and a half to the max. She does a good job relating it to the real world and is very down to earth about it.

I really enjoyed her class. It was a retake from Brother Cameron for Math for the Real World, but she placed it in much simpler terms. Her idea of how she broke the class down was much better and easier to understand. She was quick to get back to me on some of my questions.

She is the best!! She wants you to succeed in this class. Sister Garner goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material and she makes class fun. I took the Hybrid class and it was easy. For the Excel projects you can turn them in early and she will grade them and let you re-do it before the due date.

She's a great teacher. She will explain how to do whatever you need to know. It's not a great math class. You won't use much of it after this class unless your doing accounting, then you should really pay attention. The tests allow you to use a little note card, so remembering everything isn't necessary. Just do the work and you should pass.

She is absolutely the easiest math teacher you can take! She allows 3 retakes on each quiz with unlimited tries on the homework. You're allowed to correct projects and turn them in again for full credit. She removes one score out of the 5 exams so I didn't even have to take the final since I did well on the first 4.

I hardly ever showed up. She's a really nice lady though and is always there for you. Assignments are a breeze, you have unlimited chances within the deadline. Tests are easy, since you can bring a notecard. It's a great class, and you have the option to pace yourself. Hardly used the textbook.

Math has never been my favorite subject, however this class was a breeze. She understood that for most people it would be easy, however she still made sure to tailor her teaching style to those who were struggling (which weren't many). She made class interesting and was very nice. The tests were identical to the pre-tests, which she tells you.

I was not excited to take this class at all, but it is one of my favorite classes now. She teaches clearly, helps when you need it, and prepares you for your exams and projects. She has extra credit projects and some grades are dropped at the end of the semester. She is so sweet and kind and just an awesome lady! I didn't buy the textbook.

Loved Sis. Garner! FDMAT108 is basically a review of things you learned in high school with a few new things added in. She is so willing to help you, she does everything to help you pass, if you need it- it's not hard though! So sweet and genuinely cares about her students. I wish she taught other classes so I could take from her again!

Sister Garner is an amazing teacher. She really helps you understand the basics of math. I finished with a 100% in the class! The practice tests are the exact same as the test but the test has less questions and the numbers are switched up. Super easy to pass as long as you pay attention and study. She is super kind as well and is willing to help.

Sister Garner is pretty good and reasonable. If you struggle with math then I would definitely suggest going tot the tutor. It's free and easy! once you find one you like you should go very week and you will definitely get an A.

Sister Garner is an excellent math teacher. She explains the material in a way that is easy to understand. She is always willing to help you with any questions. This class has projects every other week or so, they are a little confusing, just follow the video tutorials. Two hw assignments each week, not too hard though.

None of the assignments are really confusing and if you are confused she can easily be contacted for aid. I do not consider myself to be proficient in math but she made the class fun and simple. In reality she has it down to a science.

Sister Garner is super sweet and really helpful! There are prep quizzes every monday but the answers are straight out of the book, every wednesday you have an easy project due with tutorial videos to help, and every friday you have homework due. Lots of easy assignments but not too bad. I would definately reccomend

She followed her syllabus really well and had us do practice tests that really helped prepare us for the tests. She responds promptly to emails. Great teacher!

Take Sis Garners class! It's practically impossible to not pass! She is so energetic and kind. She is literally so accessible and helps you out on anything that you need! The overall class material is easy. You have homework due Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights but I always finished at most within an hour.

She really helps you understand anything you need help with and is willing to help you through all challenges. Math 108 is pretty easy as is but she makes it a little bit more enjoyable. :)

Sister Garner is one of the best teachers I've had at BYU-I. She is kind, funny, & really wants you to succeed. If you ever need help on the homework assignments and you can't get to campus, you can take a picture of what you're stuck on and she will help you over email at any time. HW and reading is online and is pretty easy, just takes some time.

I took a zoom class from Sister Garner, an basic math class. She is great! She understands that math classes seem pointless to a lot of students, so she focuses on what is applicable to real-world situations. This might have been the best math class I've ever had. The lectures were somewhat lengthy (normal for a zoom class).

She is super accessible, she gave us her number and said to just text her our questions and she'll help explain it to us. She talks a lot and fast so you don't feel bored in class but you don't get lost because in part of her talking so much she is explaining it really well and answering everyone's questions until you get it.

Sister Garner is the most caring teacher I've had. She cares not only about how you are doing in her class, but how your other classes and your life are going. She has us do problems on the board with our groups and we get to do the quizzes with that group. There is a lot of homework, but the repetition really does help with learning the concepts.
