a great teacher. after recieving a d in biology 101 i retook it and got her. so far shes pretty good. but dont be late or cough alot in class because she may say something. but shes gives plenty of examples to help you understand. she even goes over lenghty examples if she thinks the class is lost

She was a very intelligent proffessor obviously knows what she's talking about. Not an easy A but a educating class overall. Very helpful and straight forward.

Little ****y someimtes,just dont be late for class. Very clear, always tests out of notes and not book. Write down everything you hear her repeat and other things she spends time on. I got an A both semesters I had her, but you must work hard and study for it.She's good for lecture,not lab.

Listen, if you want to get an easy A, then don't take this teacher. This teacher will make you work for your grade. Yes the test questions are a little tricky but if you write down everything she says then you have it made. If you have trouble then find out about using a tape recorder. A VERY knowledgeable teacher. I would take her again.

First, she demands you learn. DUH!!! It's freaking college. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING she puts on the test she states at least once in class. I can verify that she tests on what she teaches. Is she easy? No. Is she fair? yes. Come on, if you are late, making noise, & interrupting students who are THERE TO LEARN, she should tell you to shut up!

I took her for both lecture and lab. Her class is not easy. She passes out review sheets and goes over what she tests. Studying is required.

She really isn't as bad as this page makes her out to be. This class requires a lot of work and a lot of studying. Do what you are supposed to and you will be more then fine.

Better than most make her out to be here.. she is a very smart person, has alot of passion for her subject. This is college biology.. it is NOT supposed to be handed to you! Biology is a complex subject, but she goes over everything, and you can ask for help. TIP: Bring a tape recorder to go over what she says again while studying.

Very helpful and explanatory. Her class is difficult but I needed somewhat of a challenge since all my other classes are ridiculous. If you need help she is more than willing to help. With a little bit of studying and good note taking you should have no problem in this class.

People, she's really not that bad! She doesn't tolerate many disruptions, and I respect that. She truly loves biology, and if you put the effort in, you will do well. Is it work? Yes, but this is college, after all. Her tests are straight from her notes, and pay attention to her seemingly random stories- they are usually on the test.

I have a feeling that the people with bad comments about this teacher didn't do well. Came into thi class worried about her, but now I have to say she's the best teacher I've had. Be careful with feedback on Biology professors....there is a high student failure rate for this science. This professor loves what she teaches, gives you easy analogies to understand the lessons. She does expect you to study and does not give you a test review. Will assist you and wants you to succeed. Little quirkey, but funny. Great!!!

She knows her stuff when it comes to bio! As long as you study you will do fine. I had her for lab and although her quizzes are tests, she thoroughly prepares you for the practicals. Don't listen to those who say she is hard. As long as you study you will do fine.

I Loveeeee this lady. she knows the material. she gives very good detailed notes. drops the lowest test grade. best biology teacher ive ever had. you can tell she really loves what she does. she allows you to come in to her office to review old tests. just make sure you dont miss class or have a good buddy to copy notes for you. she is amazing..and

very challenging class. she definately knows her stuff when it comes to bio but the lab quizzes are extremely difficult and i can only imagine what her lecture is like. if you want to eat, sleep, and breathe biology then she is the teacher for you, otherwise take someone else.

Study Study Study.. She is a great teacher, but you really need to study for her tests. As for the textbook, you dont really use it much in class, but she puts random things from the book on the tests. She really will make you go home and talk about class because of the knowledge she has in this department.

I loved this teacher, I just wish i took her lecture as well.She knows everything, and u come home knowing very interesting facts. I definitely recommend taking her, she is a great teacher .

Ms Gordon was a great professor. I would definitly recommend for Bio 102. She expects alot but if you want to earn an A, you gotta put in the work. A very fun class.

Ms. Gordon is a wonderful teacher. She expects you to study and doesn't put up with distractions in class. I really wish more teachers did this. This class will not be spoon-fed to you, you HAVE to take lots of notes and you have to study them. The tests really cover everything she lectures about, so you need to study and review often.

Ms. Gordon is a great teacher. I am currently in her class. I do not understand where all of these negatives are from. She is a very educated teacher, who breaks things down in a very effective way, often using pictures or diagrams. Yes she is firm and expects things a certain way and on time, but she is a great teacher.

I have mixed feelings. Her lecture is interesting and she is very well versed in biology. Her lab was mostly pointless, but probably because bio 1&2 labs usually are. She is rather strict though; don't show up late or miss classes because she will make a big deal out of it. Also, her tests are not the easiest in the world.

I was surprised to see any negative comments about Professor Gordon! Great teachers provide students the tools to be successful and explain their topics clearly. She gives plenty of handouts, teaches memorable lectures, and makes biology fun! I adore her. Nothing comes easy, handout days are over. Welcome to college people! She rules!

She gives a 10% built in curve to all of her lab quizzes & drops your 2 lowest quiz grades. She drops 1 test and normally has 5 points extra credit on each. Ms. Gordon is such an intelligent professor! She gives you the info you need to do well, but you need to study your butt off to succeed. If you apply yourself, study hard, you should be able to get an A! She can be easily annoyed, but don't let that discourage you from asking for help. She actually notices when students are making efforts!

She really knows her stuff, I thought she was a great teacher. Like most people said she is a little difficult and can take some time to get used to. If you're a bio major I would suggest taking her class. She would be most helpful.

She does have a tough exterior and I can see why others would find her rude. She is not my cup of tea but I don't find her offensive either. She is very knowledgeable in the subject and is more than willing to explain material and go into detail. She is disorganized. Strict in attendance but not sure why that would bother students.

Mrs. Gordon is very specific and has rules in the classroom that have to be followed. Strict on attendance. Tests are hard but she truly does supply you with all the information needed to pass. Studying is a must! Notes are bland and boring but read the textbook and study and it will make sense. Don't take her 8am though..

Awesome professor! Explained the material well and gives extra credit on everything (even the practicals). You still need to study in order to pass, but that extra credit can raise your grade by up to 10 points.

Ms Gordon is a good professor, even though she might seem a little bit cold sometimes. However, if she sees that you carry about her class and try to do something, she will be there and help you if you do need her help. I loved the class, even though it was a lot of hard work

Gordon is great at conveying material and could answer any question I had on the concepts. She is tough but fair. Grading is generous and really prepares you for practicals. Truly enjoyed her lab.

Great professor. Gives detailed lectures so pay attention. You have to have a paper notebook for diagrams. Pay attention to the book and little facts she talks about during her lectures they will be on the test.
