The fully online course for statistics was amazing. She had extra credit for each test, including practice tests and test word banks. She also used free materials online, so all of the materials are free. On the tests, you get three tries to get an answer right and you get to use a test booklet and a flash card.

The professor was really easy to contact. Homework heavy but I think only because I took the class completely online

One of my favorite things about Professor McDonald's course was that she teaches her students how to use excel, not a calculator. This is definitely a challenging course but she really simplifies things and gives you every opportunity to do well! Also, her practice exams were always just like the real tests and she responds quickly.

she is a good professor, very understanding, but i would not suggest taking the class if you are doing things other than school. I personally would take the course again, if only i was not working 30 hrs a week.

Great professor, very understanding and straight forward. There is a lot of classwork, but be sure to make the time for it, it is explained well and you easy to follow along.

Many chances for EC. Online math engine used really helps learn material easily. Tests are just like the practice. She is very gracious of giving students the chance for a good grade and most importantly to learn.

It's easy as long as you don't procrastinate like crazy. She posts a lot of assignments, so you can't really procrastinate as much as other classes, but those assignments help on the tests. She also posts practice tests and questions banks which are very similar to the tests, and they are extra credit so they're optional.

Professor is very quick with answering emails, very efficient and understanding. You do have to take all tests in the testing center. the tests have a study guide which matches perfectly with the actual test.

Professor McDonald is a great teacher! Her lectures were easy to follow and the course load was very manageable for me. Even though some of the GLAs seemed a little heavy, in the long run, everything she assigned was very helpful and she gives plenty of opportunities to earn extra credit.

This class is Good it's just that you have to be focused and manage your time well because you will get a lot of homework but this professor is understanding and nice so just communicate with her but always be on time.

If you take this class in person, you will need to learn the material before class meetings and class time is used to address any comments, questions, or concerns about the homework. She will also put you in groups, giving you another outlet for being taught the material. She's very caring and doesn't mind taking the time to teach.

Professor McDonald is great, I would take her again. She's clear on what's needed for you to pass the class and gives you extra credit for every test and the final. If you pay attention and do assignments and homework you'll be fine. She's also sweet and patient and open to all questions which is great for anyone who struggles with math.

This class is also pretty light, just put the time in. It's vital to take the practice tests to prepare you for the exams. I would also use SLC Tutoring to help u.

Good teacher 100% work load can get overwhelming but she allows it late just be respectful to her and she will do the same and more

The class is super interesting, she is absolutely helpful, the problem is that math is difficult to me. Extensive Homework, exams are hard. She cares for her students, gives extra credits, she is very human and kind. Test in person at testing center, If you are good in Math this is a perfect class for you. Couldn't get the C, couldn't graduate.

Professor McDonald gives you assignments where every single video , you are able to manage your time better, just be mindful to take two days or more to complete your assignments. Practice test are the same as exams. Her class is really good

Mcdonald is a great professor!! She is work heavy but It's easy to learn based off of videos and question banks if you have the time. Offers extra credit and is understanding if you email her! Online only course we had to take tests at the testing center only.

Her class was pretty easy, would've honestly earned a better grade if I did my assessments.

Professor McDonald provides many resources for you to succeed in this class. In her lectures, she uses Excel instead of a scientific calculator. This does make some concepts easier. I took this class for the six-week summer course, so there was a lot of coursework, but all related to the test. She provides lots of extra credit opportunities.

Professor McDonald is great; I highly recommend this class. I took her 6-week Stats course fully online and got over 100% in the class overall; this was my first math class in 10 years. The workload was extremely heavy (6-week course). The practice tests are very similar to the tests and you have to take the tests ON campus at the testing center.

Professor Mc.D was very easy going. She is heavy on attendance so please be sure to be on time. Make sure to follow her recommendations as she is setting you up for success. If you plan on being absent let her know she very easy to communicate with.

The professor was great. Gave you plenty of time to do homework. I am not great at math, but if you apply yourself to go get tutoring or get a study group, you can most definitely pass. I was scared at first, but the material and time she gives you to study and review is a life saver and not too overwhelming.

Take this class if you are not good at math. Professor McDs statistics class is the first college math course I have not dropped. I struggled with algebra and dropped it twice, I took her statistics course fully online and did great. Lots of work but if you take advantage of the SLC and practice you will pass. Lots of extra credit opportunities

Professor cares about her students and is willing to answer any questions, even after class. if you are not great at math, i recommend taking her class because she offers credits to help with grade. However, be prepared, the homework is heavy throughout the semester. 4 tests. There is a final which is optional that will help if you need.

I was nervous to take algebra online but she structures the class VERY well. There are a lot of assignments to keep up with, but they help you excel on the exams if you put in the effort. The guided learning assignments contribute to your grade but you do not get penalized for getting questions wrong. Overall, highly recommend Professor McDonald!!!

Pretty good professor and is willing to go over any and all questions you have in class. Yes there is a lot of homework but, I'm sure that is the case with all statistic classes. Her practice tests and question bank assignments are very similar to the exams.

Homework can be a lot sometimes, depending on the chapter. Tests are very forgiving. She's very nice and you can tell she loves her job and cares for her students.

Lots of homework, but all of the GLA assignments matched the test questions. Gave extra credit for doing the practice tests, which were exactly like the test. Very nice and cares about her students. Used Excel for stats so you don't have ot buy the calculator.

When you first start this course, you will be completely overwhelmed or even stress about it. But don't, professor McDonald is very understanding, she will extend time on homework if you have an issue with it. Do all practice tests given, complete any extra credit and just ask for help, you'll be able to pass this class!

This was a fast class; it does take hours to do the assignments. she does a practice test as well as a question bank, it's helpful but still a lot of work and time taken up. If you stay on top of it, you will pass.

professor was very helpful throughout the entire semester, reaching out multiple times to the entire class asking if there's anything that we need assistance on as well as the resources of my open math being free. The video lessons that she incorporate the class along with the GLA's really help and 100% would take this class again.

Most of the work is online and you have videos guiding you how to do the work. In class if you have issues, the teacher can answer problems to your solutions. She occasionally interacts with the students for a better understanding. There is other ways she can help for additional help. Course can be complicated if you aren't time committed.

Personally, I feel that I did way better than I thought I would at first. While there's a lot of course work, there's plenty of time in between assignments to complete them. There is also a lot of extra credit and while it is a bit of an inconvenience to take the tests on campus, there are only two tests in this course, which makes it easier.

perfect professor for if you want to make sure you want to pass statistics class. Have to take the tests at the testing center though, but its very easy if you do the work.

The course I took was fully online so it was my job to watch all the lessons and do all the assignments by the due date. She makes this class so easy to learn giving unlimited attempts on the homework and practice tests to give you the chance to learn from your mistakes.

Professor McDonald structures the fully online statistics course around Edpuzzle lessons and longer GLA assignments that reinforce the key concepts from each video. Her clear explanations and organized pacing help you understand the material and stay engaged in the online format.

If you do the work (and extra credit too), you will get a good grade!! I took an express course, so I had a lot of work to do in a very short amount of time, but if you stay on top of it, you'll be totally fine.

I enjoyed this class. There is a lot of homework and every Friday there is a GLA which takes between an average of 1 hour to an average of 6 hours so be prepared to make time for this class. In the syllabus she gives a recommend schedule for your time in her class. You get 3 chances on the test questions and you get your scores immediately

Her class is very straight forward. The HW questions have videos that go along with them to show how to solve them. The tests are at the Testing Center, but her practice test is exactly like the test, just with different numbers.
