I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!! THIS CLASS WAS BY FAR AN EASY CLASS. ATTENDANCE AND LAB WORK IS A REQUIREMENT SOME HOMEWORK AND ESSAY'S BUT NOT MANY. SHE LET'S YOU MAKE UP WORK AND ALSO SHE WORK'S WITH THE STUDENTS ONE ON ONE. HER TEST ARE EASY. I'VE REALLY LEARNED A LOT FROM THIS CLASS AND I AM READY FOR ENC1101.

She is an amazing teacher. she thought me so much and thanks to her i passed enc1101 with an A. she gives alot of work but they are easy.

Great professor! you have a few essays to do but you go over them in class and with her personally to fix any errors. As long as you write the papers and pay attention to what she has to say it's an easy A. She really cares about her students and gives extra credit for going to the writing lab. Take her!

Professor Thompson is an AMAZING teacher and I highly recommend her for comp. classes. She truly does care about her students and also gives extra credit for going to the writing lab. Only about 3 papers the entire semester but she does expect them to be well done after all the revising and proofreading.

Mrs. Thompson is a great all around Professor. She does her best to make sure everyone knows what they're doing. There are three essays for the entire semester and she goes over how to do them. Look no further if you want a comp 1 professor that'll make the class easy.

This class was about preparing you for your final paper. She takes it step by step. Few assignments. The assignments must be done with quality work, but I learned how to improve my writing from that. They tend to be time consuming, around 2-3 days to complete for an A worthy grade. Use time management. She's really nice and wants you to pass.

She is a very caring instructor and cares about all of her students. Will help you in any way possible but DO NOT take her for granted! She will fail your papers if there was no effort put in! She gives extra credit for each paper. There will only be three papers(including mid and final exams). Her teaching style is understandable. Participate!

She is very nice professor and is funny sometimes. Her lectures can be a little boring but its not every class there is a boring lecture. There was one group project which was fun and she lets people get in groups on certain assignments. We had to write one paper and she did it in parts so we did not have to do everything at once.

She is very great teacher. She gives all student feedback on their essays which they could take her advice for a chance to revise this essays. She updates a helpful resources for their essay that she wants to see their students to become a better expert at writings. It is an challenging class for you have to pass this course and do your best try!

Im not that good at English composition or writing essays, at all, but Ms. Thompson taught so well, she helped me understand how truly easy it is to write a good essay. She is patient, funny and makes lectures interesting. I learned a lot and can thank her for my ability to compose a good essay

Professor Thompson I would say is awesome. Shes the type of professor to be honest with you and help you with any questions you may have.

This class is super easy as long as you put in the effort. She is incredibly understanding and expects you to do your best as the one being graded. There were only two essays and she gives amazing feedback and a clear grading criteria for each of them, so there's no reading between the lines.

She's super nice and she's very helpful and understanding, she's not hard to reach out too and always responds as much as she can. Her class was very easy but their is a lot of reading to do but she's a really good instructor and she's fun.

She is a really cool professor, the stories that she chooses are really twisted and throw you off once you know the background of the writer as well. I would definitely take her class again.

Gives very helpful feedback. For ENC1102, she only makes you do one research paper, about 12 pages, and you work on it throughout the semester. One group project that was okay. Definitely will be taking her again.

She's a very engaging professor and you truly learn from her lectures. She is a fairly easy grader because she cares more about teaching than making students stress about grades. She also encourages you to speak your mind so you never have to be worried about sharing your opinion during class. Highly recommend taking her if you can!

Professor Thompson is the only teacher Ive ever had go into details about writing an essay what it take and what she requires from you. I took her for ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 and I learnt so much. Professor Thompson is beyond amazing. I havent taken her for Comp 1, 2 & her lit class. She is not a tough grader. You go to class, you do the work, you ask for help & she will give her all .. 110%. I managed to get As in all of the classes that I have taken with her. I wish there were more professor like her! Take her, you wont regret.

GREAT PROFESSOR!! Very lenient grader, fair amount of assignments. Weekly discussions are super easy, don't forget to do them! Quizzes are also really easy: five multiple-choice questions+an easy short response. Three essays, 2/3 will be based off yourself+you get to choose what to write about (honestly did them the day before and still got an A).

Had Prof. Thompson for ENC 1102. Can be a tough grader but she has high expectations, but she really cares. She takes her time and works with you one on one. Now that I have moved on to other classes, I still use what I learned. Glad I took her because I learned to write better.

Super easy course, you would really have to nothing to fail this class. There's a fair amount of workload but it's not overbearing at all. She gives a good amount of time in between assignments, plus they're really easy to do. If you think she gives a lot of work, you'd have to be extremely lazy.

Professor Thompson is a great professor!! I enjoyed her class very much. She is well organized and the material covered really prepares you for future college classes where writing will be involved. I had to write 3 papers, all of which were pretty simple, but they do count towards a large percentage of your grade! I would recommend her to anyone.

This class was incredible, it's English so of course, you will have to write essays (3 total), quizzes and discussions were so easy. She gives feedback to everything you submit which is nice, before every essay due date you will have to submit a draft and she will provide feedback. I submitted some things late and it didn't matter. Take her!!!

Ms. Thompson was the best English teacher I had (especially online). She explained her lectures well and honestly if you made the most simple mistake on the essays she would get back to you immediately and help you out. Professor Thompson is a great teacher! She is clear on what is expected, shes gives a ton of feedback on your paper for you to succeed. Professor Thompson gives you plenty of time to write your paper and its done in sections. Show up, do the work and youll pass with an A. Highly recommend her.

She's a good teacher. Caring and responsive. She provides good feedback and does so in a timely manner. Lockdown browser is a pain. A real pain. But it's not that big of a deal. Most of the time this class was super easy. Like 45 minutes a week kind of easy. Then every once in a while you have to write an 1800-2400 word essay and you don't sleep.

loved this class, took it for redemption after failing another prof's AML class. she is so sweet. the essays were very easy. pick ur own prompt and reach the paragraph count with good analysis to get an A. only hw was to read every week. participate in class, ur graded on it but my class was very interactive so that was easy. highly recommend her!

I loved her! You have a reading once maybe twice a week but it's not too much. (you need book) She keeps the class engaged, so participate. Definitely take notes-they will help you on the essay exams. The essay exams are based on the readings and lecture. She'll give you a couple of days. It is nothing hard, just 5 paragraphs. Excellent Professor.

Professor Thompson was a really kind and understanding professor. If your not good at writing she understands and helps you understand what to do. I took her for four semesters because Im a writing major and she makes writing and analyzing fun. If you do the minimal work and read the readings youll do just fine. Shes always there for students.

This professor is the most caring one you could possibly find at PBSC. There is 1 research paper due for this class but it is worked on over the entire course. 1 discussion every week and it relates to your paper. There were like 5 quizzes. Professor Thompson gives amazing feedback. If you are reading this review, I'm begging you TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

This professor is incredible, and I would strongly suggest her to all. I plan to register in more of her classes because she is that fantastic. Fair grading and useful feedback for the assignments. You will pass if you do the work and follow her technique. I used RMP to find her and I don't regret it!

Prof Thompson is a nice caring prof. I would advise you to take her class. The entire semester is spent building your idea and creating your final paper step by step. She gives excellent feedback along the way to ensure your final paper will be built to get a good final grade. No reason to fail as she is guiding you through the entire course.

Professor Thompson was incredible. She gives really great feedback on all her assignments and gives you an great amount of time to complete the work. Her grading criteria and the assignment due dates are given at the beginning of the course so everything is clear. There's one final paper, which I procrastinated so I almost failed, but plenty time.

Professor Thompson was one of the nicest and most caring professors I've had. She always answers emails quickly and is ready to help. The homework load isn't heavy and as long as you do your work on time you should have no problem passing.

Professor Thompson was very nice! All the discussions were very straightforward and easy to do. There were 3 essays, the first 2 being about you. The last essay is a research paper in which you get to pick your own topic, and was very fun to do! Professor Thompson was so sweet and helpful and replied quickly to emails!

I enjoyed Professor Thompson's class. She gives good feedback on assignments. Also, she responds quickly to emails! The class expectations are clear, so sticking to a schedule is manageable. You have to do three essays throughout the semester. The persuasive essay is worth 30% of your grade, and it's easy to fall behind, so stay on top of that!

This professor clearly stated her lessons & guidelines. very informative. Has discussion boards, but all fairly simple and easy to meet the word criteria. Extremely kind and understanding. Few tests. One major paper that we worked on throughout each module so the submission at the end was just putting the pieces together. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

If you're debating on taking an online course don't. Professors like Thompson make it seamless. Understanding and provides great feedback. She doesn't do online for enc1102 if not I would def retake. 10/10

Thompson is a great teacher; she gives feedback, and her classes are very helpful. There are no exams but two big papers, one being an annotated bibliography and another is a 10-page paper essay.

Professor Thompson was incredibly kind and nurturing as a teacher, always ready to assist me with any questions or concerns I had. She placed a strong emphasis on discussions and essays in her grading. I truly valued her support. As long as you keep up with the weekly modules and revise your essays for submission, you will do well.
