He is a great teacher, very easy exams!

Fun class, and pretty simple test

Great teacher! The class was interesting because of the discussions with fellow students. Participation in discussions is part of your grade as well as attendance. The tests are easy and there is an essay but it's not hard. Definitely recommend taking this professor.

Took government with Mr. Hubble. Best teacher at MCC hands down. Very interesting classes due to much class discussion. Participation is important. Highly recommend this professor.

Mr. Hubble is a nice guy I took him in a minimester fast 3 week but very easy going and not the text book type of guy he is more active in discusing government subjects. Very Good

Really fun, respectable guy. Makes everything really interesting and always willing to listen and help. Very in tune with modern issues. Only need textbook for vocab words; there is a biographical essay on each exam, but they're relatively easy. Participation graded. Loved the class, excellent teacher.

Mr. Hubble is an excellent teacher. Really knows his material and is more than willing to help. Govt to me is hard and boring but he makes it easy and fun! Class participation is highly recommended and graded but more than likely will not fail you. HIGHLY recommended!!

He's an awesome teacher. Class is largely composed of discussion followed by some info on Texas govt. Class participation is encouraged. He's a super friendly, open minded guy. Doesn't care if you think differently than him; he's respectful regardless. Overall an easy class and a really great guy. Definitely take!

Really awesome professor! Requires you to participate in the discussion in class (and it is part of your grade), but other than that, the class is SUPER easy and he makes it pretty interesting. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mr. Hubble was a complete joy. His class is extremely interesting because he encourages participation. No topics are off limits. I have not had a better professor and I have attended three different colleges. He has a crisp clean look and an approachable smile. His class was an awesome experience!

He's so nice. Really helpful and even says if you fail his class you're an idiot b/c it's that easy. He tells you what's on the test so just study that and do a good essay and it's that easy! Loves class participation. So nice though that people talk too much and it's annoying! TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT TO PASS WITH AN "A"

I actually changed my major from Psychology to Political Science because of Mr. Hubble. He inspired me that much. I never really cared about politics until I was in his class, but he really helps you understand how it affects you as a college student. Class was pretty easy, but lots of fun. He's very helpful, and encourages class participation.

I LOOOVED CASEY! The first day you walk into class, he immediately puts you on a friend level. He wants you to call him Casey, and he always called me "Mal". I thought that was always so cool of him. He is there on a school level, and if you have any other problems going on in your life, he is there for you then as well...

...His lectures are AMAZING. He relates everything he talks about to the world today and he keeps you interested and involved as well. I took both 2305 and 2306 with him, and I feel like I can e-mail him anytime I want just to have someone to talk to. He's truly a great person and has such a great passion for what he does and what he teaches. =)

Best Prof. I've had I took him my first semester, and then took him again my third just for the heck of it. His classes Are awesome probably the only class I've enjoyed going to in college.

Casey Hubble is the best professor i've had. He genuinely cares about his students, and is very approachable and willing to help whenever needed. His grades consist of class participation (discussion and attendance) and 4 test grades that contain multiple choice questions and an essay in each. It was a very interesting class.

He is one of the best professors that I have ever had! Highly recommend everyone to take his classes! Everything is related to the real world and very easy to follow.

Mr. Hubble- This instructor is great. He blends current events with Texas Government. It's an interesting mix that has motivated me to pay more attention to not only Texas Govt, but National Govt as well. I have wrote a letter to Gov. Rick Perry and President Barack Obama. Awesome! I had him for a minimester and his lectures are very interesting..the time just flew by. The tests weren't that hard because the class is taught by discussion and it really helps you remember things better. Def. recommend Casey to everyone.

OK-I'm not the best government student, but many can relate. At MCC for an easy grade take Hubble. I was told Holder will challenge you, he did. I learned more there than any class, but had a "D"-dropped class. Took Ramon, she was an energetic whirlwind, and I wasn't doing any better. Took Hubble-did less-made an A. Nice guy-EASY!!!

I am sorry but this class was not that easy. I thought the tests were tough and the professor made things easier to understand. I like Mister Hubble he is a good teacher.

You have to get over being shy for this class cause you have to talk to get a good grade. Tests were really hard but if you do the participation thing you will be allright.

Hard tests. Class is based on keeping up with political things going on and talking about it and how it relates to the book. Don't register late his classes fill up.

had him for National and texas Govt. Pay attention to lectures and dicussons. study vocab and lecture notes and maybe briefly look over the book in case and any extra credit he offers. Casey makes it fun and interesting to understand..... Come to class and show you are trying everything he well work with you

Casey is a great teacher. I had no interest in politics nor did I care to really understand it and he changed all of that. super helpful and goes above and beyond to help everyone. wish all teachers were like him. makes class fun and loves his job. i would take him for all my classes if i could!

casey is one of the great professors out there at MCC besides Vince clark(of course). He made things really easy to understand. At first didnt like it but brings alot of info I found out in high school by a coach. but over all if you show up to class and show that you are trying your best he well help out....

So pretty much we had 3 test and a final, one of which was dropped. Best class ever, besides it being easy if you just show up, participate in lectures and study the vocab from the chapters he gives you for the test, you win. Easy A. Not to mention you actually learn a ton from him, a really good teacher, one of the best ive had byfar.

I wouldn't say this class was easy but it is easy to enjoy. You MUST participate in discussions and attend class. Book is only used for vocab. Tests are pretty challenging but he does "review" for the test(lectures and vocab) Professor Hubble cares about his students succeeding not only in his class but in life. This class gets better throughout the semester, at first it seemed boring, but now the discussions get pretty interesting. The tests are a little hard, but he gives plenty of extra credit, and the participation thing is also going to help you a lot! He is a great teacher and friend!

Awesome teacher. You can tell he likes to try to give back to the community, and he will help you out with anything you need. Had some great debates in his class and he keeps his lectures interesting. You will have to study for the tests. They require critical thinking and an essay portion. Still one of the best classes I have taken.

This teacher has a great personality and is a fantastic teacher. He is very willing to help and cares about his students. The only grades you receive are from the 4 tests, participation, and attendance. He has a policy that drops your lowest test score (including final). As long as you pay attention and participate, it's easy.

He is a passionate teacher, who inspires you to get involved. You need to know current events that our going on in the World, News, and a general understanding of what he is talking about. He will help when needed. Great teacher!

One of the best online experiences I have had. Everyone at MCC knows Casey. He prefers you call him Casey not mister or professor. The tests are pretty hard but the rest of the class lets you catch up for your grade.

By far the best government prof they have. The other one I took talked about current events and got way off topic all the time.

Really nice guy and a fairly easy class. The only thing I did not like is the fact that he gives a participation grade based on whether or not you talk in class. I didn't get a good grade for that because it is just not in my nature to talk in class even though I am actively listening and keeping up.

Great prof, very interesting class. Starting out, I wasn't too keen on learning about TX, but prof Hubble made it interesting. Class format was 2 unannounced open book exams, 3 exams, and the final. Only caveat to this is his exams take a LOT of key terms from the chapters--key terms he never discusses in class.

I've never liked govt before, and Casey has made federal govt my favorite class. I've taken both Texas and Federal govt with him (TX online), and I've learned a lot. He has so much energy, and he's always willing to help! ***(Oh, & don't forget your book for open-book tests!)

Loved this online course because he lets you work on your own pace and is really nice when you have a problem. I called him when I needed something and he was much faster getting things fixed for me. Really loved Professor Hubble and will take Texas Gov online with him too.

Loved this class because it was easy for me anyhow. He called me at home to help fix a problem the same day it popped up. The only problem is the subject is a little boring but required class.

Great class one of the best I have had at MCC. The guy goes over every test question by question a week before the test. I also loved the discussions.

I love this this course. If you read all the information that he assign you will pass. The only trouble I had was with the test. On the final exam some of the questions was partially covered by the save button, so I had to guess the words that was obstructed. Hopefully its fixed now that I reported it.

This Government instructor makes a topic that not all find riveting, interesting and challenging. He rewards hard work and effort goes a long way. Class participation is easy because his lectures are interesting and relevant. This is NOT a course where you can skate by; take notes, read text, and ask questions. Casey Hubble is an awesome professor!

Such a nice guy. We had several great discussions about my posts in his class. Was instantly available even at night. Said he is usually up grading so for the quick response. Had him in a classroom too super nice.

Easy online class and I have taken my share of online courses. I liked the pace of this class and the speedy feedback.

Cool course because it was easy going and not too rigid to me anyway. The Prof Hubble was nice in resetting stuff and generally being understanding.

Cons: He barely interacted with the class. Short answer questions on the timed final and only one question visible at a time. Felt like this was a 4-year political science class rather than a 2-year government class. Pros: Course is mostly work at your own pace. My least favorite class of the semester. I'll be taking someone else for Govt 2306!

Best poli sci professor at MCC by far! Loves his students and you can tell. My friend took this class with me and he helped her get her car out of impound. What professor does that! I loved this class.

I liked Professor Hubble because he was so flexible. If I had a problem and I did have a couple he helped. He likes to tell you how government can empower you if you know your way around government. Very good class and a great guy.

Just completed my Texas Government class and I have to say it was the best class I have had in two years at MCC. I loved the lectures because they included modern stuff that shows us how government applies to us today. The tests were really easy to me because he goes over every question before you take the test. I will take Hubble for National too.

Just got my grade for Casey's class and was very happy. I loved this course. He gives wonderful reviews for tests. One of my favorite professors because he gives lots of extra credit and drops your lowest exam score. Also one of the most easiest to help you.

Self paced online course was heaven for me. Tests were kinda rough sometimes but if you keep up you will be good to go.

A really online guy to take because he is self paced mostly and a fairly easy grader. he communicated really well too. I liked Hubble a lot. His tests are kinda tough sometimes but if you know your way around blackboard you will be ok.

Classes are standard lecture with four tests. Casey gives you open book tests to help your grade and reviews the other tests question by question. Very outspoken which I liked cause the other government teacher I had at MCC talked over our heads all the time. You won't fail this course unless you try to fail.

Great online class. The assignments were in units with a due date, giving you plenty of time and flexibility to complete at your own pace.

The best Instructor I've had at McLennan. Hubble tries to make his class interesting and helps his students. I was sick and Hubble worked with me to help me make up the stuff I missed. I think he has a big heart.

I LOVE HIM. He is the most amazing teacher I have ever encountered. Gosh. He has such a kinda heart and warm spirit. Love his class and lectures. He's always willing to help out his students. He's like an angel professor. I definitely recommend him.

I would take him for fun. Such a great debate class, and he is always open for your feedback! A very genuine guy that will do the most for anyone. He gives extra credit, and pop quizzes that require the textbook! He appreciates when you debate in class and participation is a potion of the grade! Very intelligent when it comes to laws! Best class.

Tests are objective and not straight from the book. I had to work hard for my A. Do not expect this to be an easy class. I did learn a lot and this class did help with my critical thinking skills. Responds to emails within a day.

He is an ok teacher but often strays from the topic. His tests are VERY specific and the majority of his questions are about small details. Knowing the information is not enough, you need to memorize it.

This prof is one of the better ones at MCC. I like the way he relates the material to your real life. Very helpful to his students but does not like poor attendance so you need to show up and talk. Tests were hard that is true.

3-4 discussion boards a month (600 word; 2 sources) he didn't grade them very hard. 3-4 quizzes a month that were not difficult, if you use materials provided along with the textbook. I made a B, my own fault for failing to do a discussion board and a quiz.

Learned a ton in this online class. Prof was really nice to me when I had problems cause the course was so fast. I barely got an A because of not citing sources in my written assignments but course was interesting.

I like that it was self paced for the most part and there was some getting used to the discussion boards and the way they were setup I also like that I was allowed to fix mistakes once. I think I thought that he was flexible and got back with you.

Many of the other teachers I have had it takes forever to get them to get back with you. Hubble was better in getting back with me. I always have lots and lots of questions because I do not like online very much. Hubble is not hard on you when you have things that cause problems in your tests and things like that so I really was able to relax .

Mr. Hubble had several exams that were kinda hard but the rest of the class consisted of discussion boars which you have to have two sources. I also like the pace of the class.

Mister Hubble is better to take in person I think because I had him for in class national. In his online class you dont get to hear him speak and get the class all jazzed up and stuff but my schedule couldnt allow it so I took him online. The class had tests and some intersting the discussions but mixing it up in class is better.

An old fashioned Prof that likes to lecture and tell stories which for the most part relate to the material. Hubble has regular tests and open book quizzes to help your grade. Main thing is to participate which was hard for me cause I am a bit shy but he gave me points for trying at least. Probably my third favorite professor at McLennan.

This dude is straight awesome aF. He gives open book quizzes, and he's super nice. He really cool because he keeps up with current events and he is really open minded. The tests are kinda difficult if you don't study. It's easy to get distracted during lecture, and that is where all the info for the test is! Stay woke, and you'll make it through!!

I dig this class. What is so cool about this class is he gives powerpoints over all the stuff on the tests. So make sure to get those and dont miss class and you get the points for that too. Love this class.

Tests were hard no doubt. Hubble tells you if you cant take tests very well you can make up the difference by talking and by the in class quizzes that you take. I dropped government twice before I took Hubble and I am getting an A in this class.

I learned a ton in this class because of all the material we blew through which you do go fast which I wish he would slow down some. To me if this man can make me like government it says lots about the Professor.

You have regular tests and open book tests and class participation. Some students don't like to talk in the class when it is participation time. If you don't like discussions dont take this guy. If you are not shy you will do well in this class. This was the best class I have had at MCC

Hubble was great to take. I liked the way you have so many ways to improve your grade with the essays, open book quizzes, and participation and tests which were hard but you can get a better grade if you do the other things. Not arrogant like some profs I have had.

I am going to change my major to political science because of Mr Hubble's class.

Strengths were lectures and extra credit for after class lectures and research. Weakness was tests were too hard and covered too many chapters for each test. Hubble likes what he does clearly. Would take again.

Pretty straight forward class. Some writing and a long final but easy to get along with instructor. Helped me out of a jam when my computer got stolen. Great guy fairly easy course.

This professor doesn't teach straight out of the textbook, but you will need one. He always asks students to give their opinion on stuff which is a refressing change. Plus he is awesome.

The professor always returned my emails whenever I had a question and graded my assignments within a decent amount of time. I would take this professors class again if I had to take government but mine are all done now.

Took this class online. Hubble is a good choice however you will have a lot of reading. The overviews he provides are absolutely no help for the quizzes and you will no have time to find the answers during the quiz. I made an A but barely. Besides all the reading, there isn't any other work and I love that it was self paced.

Just awesome! The most amazing professor ever. Pay attention to the NEWS, lectures, key terms, and the research figure he chooses for each test. Speak up in class. Sit anywhere-just actually try to contribute. Make a friend or 2 in class. Hubble will help you even after you take the course, but u actually have to care about your education.

Right on the money interesting not biased

This class is a little harder than I thought it would be but hubble makes it better by doing a review for the exams and open book tests too. Hubble will stay after class to help you.

A caring professor high on participation and discussion. You just gotta talk in this class and keep up with political things going on to get the most from this class. Tests are flat out hard but you also get open book tests and lots of extra credit good class really sweet prof.

This man has so much patience with students. Some of the things they do in his class would push me over the edge. I liked the class because there were so many types of assignments to get your grade from like open book and written and even talking about government and how we need to know it to help us later in life situations.

This is a sad end to a semester I enjoyed. Hubble's class is so open and friendly. I worked really hard to get over my fear of public speaking and that put me over the top. Tests were a breeze as was the open book tests.

He doesn't treat students like he is their superior. He is fair gives you a fair grade.

Casey Hubble is without a doubt one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. As a Government professor, he is fair and balanced. Go to class prepared to engage in his awesome lectures (which are really more of conversations). After completing his class, I have kept up with Casey, and I consider him a friend. I have a lot of respect this man.

Professor Hubble is a great Government teacher! I took him for Texas Government this past spring of 2017 and ended up learning a lot, especially about the Texas Education system. I genuinely learned stuff that has stuck with me up until this day. He taught us that we really can make a difference if we just get involved.

P.S. we had a dog in our class and professor Hubble brought treats for him all the time. THATS LIKE THE NICEST THING EVER.

Took this class online easy A if you do the work. There are 9 discussions boards minimum 400 words and 10 online quizzes 35 questions each and you can take them twice if needed. He responds to emails in timely manner and is helpful. Book is needed, I used an older version with minimal problems. Final is 60 questions worth 200pts can take twice.

Casey is an awesome teacher! He encourages students to get involved and will go out of his way to help his students. I enjoyed his class. Attendance is important. He gives pop quizzes (they are open book so it's easy). If you listen to lecture, take good notes and study you can make an A. I highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Casey!

Professor Hubble outlined his class online very well. The requirements for this class were low but the textbook was necessary to succeed. The tests were not too hard but not too easy either. Participation in discussion boards also is a must. In the discussion boards there are specific instructions. Loved taking this class was very interesting.

I took this class online Spring 2017. I was nervous because Government is not necessarily my strong subject. He requires discussion boards that need to be atleast 400 words. Yes it is a lot of work but he is so understanding and willing to help you if you truly TRY! I would most definitely take him again!

I am so inspired by this professor. At the end of a class he asked if I was feeling sad. So I vomited my problems all over this guy and he proceeded to tell me how he thought most not all but most of my issues could be fixed. I really feel my life changed and thats what Dr. Hubble is to students.

Sees you as more than just a student. Lectures were not boring at all. Make sure to always have your text book in case of pop quiz. No homework, only 4 test. Very easy to approach. Knows what he's talking about. Take notes and study and it'll be a breeze. Take this professor if you can, you won't regret it.

This prof wants to make sure he doesnt give a test unless you have at least a weekend to study the review he gives you. Also gives several open book tests and extra credit. Helps if you talk in the discussions with your final grade.

Guy is so easy to talk to. Always tells students to hang in there they are doing better than they might think. He has participation points and open book exams but tests are kinda of difficult. I am doing well in this class because the prof is patient and helps when you need it. I would recommend the class if you like the discussion type of class.

I can't say enough good things about Professor Casey. He is so nice and kind to all his students. He remembered my name and i think most of the other students names. He always offered help to his students. He is the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure to take a class from. I would take every class he taught if I could .

Great professor! Definitely one of my favorite classes. I always enjoyed his class. Everyday I learned something new, and what was refreshing about his class is that it was not bias towards one political side during debates in the class. I highly recommend!

Took his online class & learned a lot. Heavy on discussion boards - 9 throughout the course & chapter quizzes on book material. Discussion boards were on interesting topics. Takes forever to get grades back on DB so you won't know until the end of the course how well you did. Just follow the syllabus & his instructions and you will do fine.

Mr. Hubble is clear and concise. He is a great lecturer and will help you in any way possible. He actually cares about his students. I wish he tought many other classes!

A breath of fresh air for a online class. Not too complicated just discussion boards and quizzes. Hubble lets you work at your own pace and he even helped me when I missed a deadline because I got the days wrong. Strongly recommend.

This class is great Hubble tries to make sure you do well in his class. Extra credit, take home exams and open book test but a fairly hard standard type test today. I am learning to speak my mind and love going to class.

Casey Hubble is the kindest soul. He truly truly cares about his students and wants each one to be successful. He is always lending a helping hand. His class is based heavily on participation. His discussions are interesting and he is always providing you with new information everyday. Come to class, do the work, and make an effort. He is the best!

Online course fairly standard. Quizzes are really easy, and discussion boards need citations but they are only a couple paragraphs. Final exam was the hardest part of the course. Easy nice prof.

Great professor, super chill and caring. I would say class is easy because it only has a few things to grade from. 3 tests and 2 open book quiz. Basically, all you need to do is show up and take notes. No hw and anything. Just study before the test and the tests are the usual difficulty with multiple chioce and one short essay in the end.

Hes an amazing professor, his lectures cover a lot of very interesting material. As long as you take the class seriously and do the work you will get a good grade. Also, his lectures cover material that is useful in everyday life. I would definitely recommend his class to anyone.

He makes it very easy to see what you need to make a good grade in the class, as long as you participate and do all of the work you will do well in his class. Something that is cool about his class is that he using current events to teach government, it has really helped me learn more about government.

Professor Hubble is the best. I took him for federal government and returned for Texas government. His lectures are informative and interesting. Participation in class is encouraged and fun. He genuinely cares about his students and is there to talk to and work with on anything that may come up. I learned a lot in these classes.

All of the work was done in McGraw Hill Connect. No book needed. 8-week course for me was time-consuming in Connect but if you did it, easy A.

Professor Hubble is one of the best History teachers I've ever had. He is very down to earth with the students and is extremely friendly. The work done in his class is done all online in Mcgraw hill and is self paced. The self paced is a pain, just because I'm so used to work in class, but I highly recommend taking his class. You won't regret it.
