Casey Luchuga is a great instructor as well as a great person. He is a person that makes the class enjoyable for you and not hard. Taking this class with him will insure you of student life and he will help you in your career choice. Take this class with him like I did and you will gain a friend that will help you through your years here in SAC.

i have never taken this course, however he has helped me many times set up a schedule that suits me. he is by far the sweetest, most helpful, and craziest guy, if he was teaching courses that fell under my major, i would def. be taking him!

I never had Mr. Lechuga as a teacher. However, he was wonderful as my counselor! Willing to help me as much as possible and he returned all my calls. Very nice. I'd recommend this guy as your counselor after my good experience with him.

Just to give some dialogue that other college students will understand:Dude take him, he's good! He has a passion for what he does and it shows through his teaching. You will leave the class with atleast one laugh, it's not really a class that you have to try hard to pass. Plus he's not bad to look at so it makes learning that much better .

Very in tune with his own teaching style, and therefor able to communicate how he wants things, and what you need to do to get the A. Kept the class very interesting. I was one of those who thought it would be a waste of time, and I was shocked at how much I liked the class.

Mr. Lechuga(Mr. Lettuce Head ) was an awesome Student Development Professor. He was always enthusiastic about his classes. He could turn any lecture into a fun and interesting topic. Somehow he would always relate the lecture to our daily lives. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking his class for your first year in college.

He is a great teacher, he will work with you if you communicate with him, for a lecture class he makes it fun and not boring. He doesn't just stand up in the front lecturing, he likes for his students to be involved with activity work.

I would definitely take this class again. Professor Lechuga really cares about his students and wants to help us succeed. He does small group projects in class. And gives tests after each chapter so you will need the book. The tests are not difficult as long as you pay attention in class and read over the chapter. I recommend taking his class!!

Super easy going & helpful. Took his class for summer2, went through 7 chapters so it was fast paced but he makes sure you understand material so as not to get lost. Tests every week. Bought our class coffee for the first& last week. Lechuga is approachable, resourceful, provides good feedback & really nice to look at during class.

Personally when taking morning classes i hate how boring classes are but he made the day so energetic and made you excited just to see what the day has in stored and the lectures are just amazing. He is a great professor. Does not open up late assignments unless you personally talk to him. He really cares for his students, and always comes in smiling. He has about 6 test plus the final. You have one project, and the rest is based off of the work in canvas. Super easy! Also he is very handsome.

Casey Lechuga is one of the best teachers you can find at San Antonio College. He is really INSPIRATIONAL and MOTIVATIONAL. I read a negative review about him here, and the guy who wrote that is completely wrong. If I had the opportunity to take more classes with him, OF COURSE I will do it. Lechuga was a great professor, very inspirational and cares a lot about his students. He lectures but it's very energized and does group projects to keep a good class dynamic. Grading criteria are very clear and assignments are easy to understand. There are tests over every chapter which are straightforward and there is no extra credit.

He is funny and outgoing. He gets involved to makes sure each student is understanding. All assignments are super easy and as long as you pay attention and focus, you will pass. We our on zoom right now but he is still the same fun personality and he is caring and we have fun and learn at the same time.

Taking this course initially as a face to face and then resulting in a Zoom scheduled meeting course due to Covid19 I was eerie of the outcome but I could not of been in a better professors course when this happen. He made the transition positive and successful for all of us who continued participating. It was a huge confidence booster! TAKE HIM !
