I took his Trauma and Memory class and it wasn't too demanding, but I looked forward to his classes and learned a lot. He's a soft-spoken guy, but he's also funny.

Oh, what to say about Casey? He's just a lovable goof, who happens to be extremely smart and dryly funny. Above all, he is a good teacher, and has a good rapport with all of his students. Will definitely make you laugh, and grades easy. He is a pretty cool guy.

I took two classes from him last year. I think I remember more from his classes than any other class, and I still talk about them. His style makes it impossible not to learn the material. I could have lived without the weekly papers.

Took him for summer quarter Deception class. Most eye-opening class I have EVER taken, and by far the best instructor I've ever had. Unlike other instructors who "pad" the time, Lytle filled the class with more than 2 credits worth of material. He is obviously excited about the topic. He literally jumps up and down.

I've taken many courses with professor Lytle (abnormal psych, Deception, human sexuality). He is gifted in making classes informative, fun, and stress free. No wonder he keeps getting teacher of the year awards in psych department. I have taken more psych classes than I need just because he is so good. Register early or you won't get in.

This was my first class with Lytle and it taught me a LOT as an education major. My friends talk about how funny and random he is, but after learning about memory I think if you recorded his lectures you'd find his humor and tangents are not random, he uses it to get the stuff in your head. Not a surprise he teaches deception. ;-)

Casey is awesome! I was worried taking stats, but Casey made the concepts easy to understand! It got a little confusing towards the end, but it's just because of the tricky formulas. Casey really makes the formulas easy to understand and he uses a lot of examples to help. Take CSBS320 with Casey! You won't be sorry.

I usually hate day-long classes, and Psyc of Murder was two days in a row, but I've had Lytle before so I knew it would be different. When you have the most exciting instructor on campus teaching the most interesting subject it's going to be WOW! And it was. I would sit through those days again just to pick up what I missed the first time.

I took General Psyc over the summer. Initially, I dreaded the 3 hours/day lectures, but they were always informative and entertaining. Class was never boring, that's for sure.

Fun class but way to many online tests. Don't really benefit though from test questions that are contradictory with he book. Overall, he's cool. Different guy.

class attendance is mandatory as his weekly quizzes are taken from lectures and weekly homework is taken from the book. I could've done better than a B if I had a newer ed. book! ask him why do stores put MD 20/20 on the bottom shelf! or anything about kids & Santa Claus! he's hilarious, I would take classes from him again and doing so now

As previously stated attendance is needed to answer his weekly quizzes correctly. He is very laid back, very funny, and great to ask random psyc questions to. Highly recommended.

Very entertaining professor, class was interesting and easy to pass as long as you went to class most of the time and paid moderate attention. He seemed as if he definitely wants everyone to succeed.

I believe in traditional values. So I was ready to hate everything about this class. Lytle surprised me. He challenged me without making me feel threatened or defensive. And because of that he made me think about things in a different way. I can't say I wasn't sometimes infuriated and offended, but I understand much more than before.

I had Lytle for Psychology 100 and I don't regret having him. He is by far the best professor I've had. His teaching style is amazing because it makes everything so easy to learn. He's awesome, and I definitely reccomend him.

Psyc of murder was the darkest class I've ever taken but I've never laughed so hard in a class. I cant imagine anyone other than Lytle being able to do that class without making it unbearably depressing.

Very cool instructor. Very mature, adult class setting. Very informative. Exams and homework are all online, no textbook required. Power points are provided on canvas. Attendance a must at times when viewing videos, questions about videos might pop up on exams. Mr. Lytle made the class interesting, and I've learned a lot in his classes.

As long as you do all of the discussions and tests by the end of the course you are good. That term paper will sneak up on you though, especially since it is a work at your own pace class.

He's a great teacher. Cares about the class and the information. All tests and assignments are online. Tests are difficult because they're only over what he talks about during lecture so if you weren't paying a attention at the right times you won't do well which is frustrating.

Professor Lyle is awesome. Most of the class is accessible online. You have HW assignments that you can take up to 3 times and quiz's online that are about 30 questions.

Honestly, super super easy class. All tests and homework are online, he drops lowest test/HW grades at the end of the quarter, and plenty of extra credit opportunities. He has a dark sense of humor, and makes psychology pretty fun to learn about.

Casey's an easy A. His tests and homework are all online and they're based off a combination of lectures and reading, so just skim the text and you're fine. And I gotta say... It's true that having a crush on the professor can make you work harder to pass the class. But Casey is so hot, it's almost to the point that it's hard to focus. Beware.

He does not promote cramming and memorization like most other professors do. Honestly, if you come to class and pay attention, take good notes, you will pass the class EASILY.

Professor Lytle is honestly the best. I went into the human sexuality class thinking none of the material would really surprise me, but he was quick to prove me wrong. also he takes jokes too far sometimes. but it's certainly fun to watch.

I went in expecting a boring sex-ed class of stuff I already knew. I was SO wrong. It is so much more than that. I learned new things every day and went home every day talking about what happened in class. But what really makes the class is Lytle himself. I have never had an instructor who could make you so comfortable with uncomfortable material.

I took this class online and definitely enjoyed the layout. You can work at your own pace. There are lectures, discussions and quizzes for each module. There are a total of 8 modules. There is no final exam and only one paper due which is due half way into the quarter.

Class is made up of 10 discussions and 6 tests, your lowest test and discussion are dropped at the end of the quarter. Attendance is not mandatory however it helps immensely on the tests for what is not on the slides. Lytle is really funny and makes coming to class really easy.

Easiest and probably the most interesting class I have taken in college so far. 6 online multiple choice tests, including the final, lowest score gets dropped. Attendance is not mandatory and most test material can be found online/in the book but I ended up going 95% of the days because the material was actually interesting. Highly recommend.

Lytle is one of my favorite professors! He makes even the most boring class (309) interesting! He is funny and quirky and the class is pretty easy. The lectures are actually fun to go to. He also doesn't use textbooks, the quizzes are online, and he gives 5% extra credit!

I really wish I had taken more classes with Lytle before he left. Really solid professor, keeps lectures interesting. Thought it would be awkward to take a Human Sexuality class from an older guy, but it really wasn't. Rotates through discussions and quizzes, all online. Pretty easy yet interesting class. If you're thinking about taking it, do it.
