Love this guy. Super funny and helpful-- in school & in personal struggles. Very approachable. Lots of reading-- but it's enjoyable and he adjusted it through the semester. Tests are kind of hard-- just go to the TA reviews-- he provides a good study guide. Really uplifting and the guy is like a church history encyclopedia!! Recommend!!

Brother Griffiths is an incredible professor. He is more than willing to help you when things get rough if you bring it up to him. There is a lot of reading for the class, but it is worth it to do, and you can skim it. Plus, all of the reading is online so you don't have to pay for it. Go to the test reviews and you will be able to ace all tests.

I would die for Bro. Griffiths. His lectures are amazing and the tests were a breeze, all you really have to do is read the assigned readings (which can be a little long sometimes, but still manageable) and you should get an A no problem. Bro. Griffiths is absolutely hilarious and I genuinely enjoyed every single class.

THE BEST. Taking Prof. Griffiths for Foundations of the Restoration is the smartest choice. He is amazing at covering the hard parts of church history without sugar coating but also using the spirit. He is also effortlessly funny and I loved every lecture. A super easy class that I got a ton of.

Easy class. I felt like Prof Griffiths sometimes skimmed over hard topics instead of fully addressing them, but our class also had +200 people so he might've done that for time. Kind of a lot of reading for a two hour class.

The course is pretty easy itself, he provides extra credit and just wants you to learn whatever subject you are in. Coming to class and doing readings for quizzes is important. Bro. Griffiths is the most charismatic religion teacher I've had; he gives inspiring/funny lectures. I legitimately am sad when I have to miss class. Test content is from the slides and the readings. You grade yourself on attendance. If you go to class and do the readings you'll be fine. There are a few short essays throughout the semester.

Very clear on the expectations, not a much of extensive work outside of the typical readings. Readings can be a bit lengthy but it got better as the semester went on and he got feedback from students. Fabulous lectures, always interesting, spiritual, and taught new things. 10/10

Brother Griffiths gives amazing lectures, loves helping students, and is a great guy! His class wasn't too hard, you need to do a fair amount of studying to do well on his exams though. There was a lot of required reading but he takes class feedback and may be reducing it.

He is knowledgeable and eloquent. He is intentional about not saying anything that could marginalize or hurt any students. Very kind, loving, compassionate, and sensitive. He cares about his students. He is hilarious and engaging. His lectures were not only funny and interesting but also spiritual and impactful. Amazing lecturer!

You can tell he cares about the course and about the gospel. In a class even like foundations of the restoration, I was able to feel spiritually uplifted.

Unlike many religion professors at BYU, Dr. Griffiths is able to walk the line between academic rigor and spiritual upliftment. You learn a lot, but he also remembers it's a 2-credit class. He's not afraid to talk about difficult topics in Church history. I feel like I really learned and grew a lot. And his lectures are always funny and inspiring.

There is a lot of homework in this class, but it is genuinely interesting. His lectures were great. I took The Eternal Family class from him, and there are a lot of controversial topics we talked about. He helped me understand the church's view in an honest way but without offending anybody. He tells great stories and the Spirit is really strong!

I took Foundations of the Restoration and I learned SO. MUCH. Not only is a great teacher but he's a great source of knowledge. He was always willing to stay after class and give you the extra details class time couldn't cover. I feel like we were able to go really in depth and have a great time doing it. I feel I missed out not having him more!

He is funny and tells great stories, and overall it was an enjoyable class. You read about 4 conference talks before each class, and the tests are based off that, but TA study sessions help.

Bro. Griffiths is a funny guy and a great Zoom lecturer. He reads the chat and answers questions in real-time, which is great. The assignments are all pretty simple. Quizzes are timed, but not bad. I never did the readings and still did fine by just watching assigned videos.

He is so nice, and always makes class enjoyable. We talk about heavy subjects and he makes sure to spend time answering every question. I have never heard him complain about anything. When we asked to have less readings, he listened. He is so respectful and I enjoyed taking this class. The TA's hold reviews before each midterm that help so much

I took Prof. Griffiths for Foundations of the Restoration and the Eternal Family and would take him for every required religion class if I could. There are quizzes every day (super easy). 1 hour-ish of readings per class period if you are a fast reader. Exams are easy if you go to reviews (no tricks), and there are a few short papers. 10/10

Bro Griffiths is GREAT. He handled zoom classes the best out of all my profs. There is required reading before each class, but nothing tpo bad. The quizzes are really easy if you do the reading, and the exams are a piece of cake (especially with all the review materials). Took REL225 and 200 from him the same semester. Wonderful in every conceivable way. Attentive, answers questions, detailed lectures but not overwhelming, reasonable workload, incredibly caring, very inspirational. I learned so much and would definitely recommend to any student!

Bro Griffiths is so funny & I'm convinced he knows everything. He never hesitates when answering a tough question. It's just the right amount of work for a religion class. There's no big project like in other RELC225 classes, just some smaller activities. He knows how to bring the spirit but also be engaging. TA test reviews are also the best.

Do the reading, report your attendance, and attend exam reviews. You might get a little lost on what notes to take during lectures, but try not to worrythe TA's exam reviews will refresh you on everything you need. There is an essay, but it's short; try to finish it early, and he'll be willing to review it for feedback. A great choice for RELC200.

Professor Griffiths is AMAZING! His class was enjoyable and informative. Theres a lot of reading but its totally doable. The midterms are super easy as long as you attend TA reviews. I am super glad I signed up for this class!!

Dr. Griffiths is great! He is always eager to talk with students outside of class time. There is a decent amount of reading, but I thought that the amount was more than fair for a 2 credit class; especially considering besides a short (leniently graded) paper and two easy experience papers, we only had a weekly quiz and three exams.

He requires weekly reading but it is definitely reasonable. He isn't one of the religion professors that require you to memorize the Book of Mormon. The guy is hilarious and a really good religion professor.

Prof. Griffiths is absolutely hilarious. His lectures are the perfect mix of humor and inspiration. This class helped me learn a lot about the applications of much of the doctrine. His class is also insanely easy and not meant to be hard at all, but let you learn carefree of your grade. If you need an easy religion credit I highly recommend!

I am so so glad that I took this class! Professor Griffiths is the best and his classes were incredible despite the weird COVID semester. I took his classes with live delivery and have no regrets. This was a fantastic course. The reading is a bit heavy but it is totally worth the effort.

There wasn't too much busy work and guidelines were clear.

Casey Griffiths was so funny and caring about all who joined his class. Sometimes I didn't fully agree with him on his interpretation on doctrinal statements, however he was always respectful to everyone. His tests were a little annoying because they had quote questions which were a little tough, but the light homework evens it out.

He is so funny and gives insightful readings. It is the perfect amount for a two credit class. You have to write two little papers and take quizzes every week, but it is nothing that a college student can't handle. Great class!

Eternal Families is a notoriously not queer friendly class, but Brother Griffiths created an environment that was open & respectful. I let him know my pronouns before class started and he made sure to respect them. During the lesson on same-sex attraction he kept things civil & most importantly, I felt I could share my experiences without fear

Teacher is very responsive and he helped me at least 4 times (it saved my grade and sanity ah!). The class will change your life (wait for learning about D&C 93 and 101). It is lecture-during-class and not class discussion then lecture-watch-for-homework type class. Fabulous lectures, but I would rather watch for HW as the HW needs a walkthrough.

Brother Griffiths is hilarious, makes class fun, but makes the material personal and makes it so you understand what you are learning much better.

I absolutely loved this class. He is very helpful and bright. He lets you ask as many questions anonymously and in public as you need. There are not a lot of writing assignments and the majority of your grade comes from the reading and reading checks so don't worry! The writing assignments are definitely worth it though! He never gives busy work.

RelC225 with Brother Griffiths' was by far my favorite religion class. He is funny and his lectures are great, plus he does a really good job at answering everyone's questions. In the class, you have one 4 page section analysis, 3 big tests, and one 1 page report (all easy). You also have semiweekly readings and quizzes (time-consuming but easy).

I took his class online with 200+ other students, yet I still felt like he cared about me. I didn't take notes during lecture and only a little bit on the readings. I literally just watched the reviews by the TA who told us everything that was on the exams. I don't recommend this, but I got a 98 overall. Also lots of Xtra Credit opportunities.

This is a 2 credit class that actually has an appropriate workload for a 2 credit class (unlike some other religion classes). Professor Griffiths is a very caring professor and is willing to answer hard questions and take and apply feedback, but he speaks very fast, making it hard to understand and take notes in class. Overall, it's a good class!

He's pretty much everything you look for in a good religion professor. Gives good, entertaining lectures, is respectful to various viewpoints, and understands that a religion class shouldn't be too stressful/too much work. On some days there was a lot of reading but when there aren't other assignments outside of that it's forgivable.

Extra credit is easy, easy grader on papers, and if you skim the talks you'll be fine for the quizzes. Lectures important so take notes on who said what. Explains concepts really well and is funny. If people don't like him its because they're butt hurt about the principles and not the teacher. Pronounces president nelson as "Nilson" which is funny.

Depending on your moral integrity, you have to read quite a bit. The tests are hard enough that you have to study, TA reviews are essential. If you read, go to class, attend reviews and study for like 2 hours each exam, you'll be totally fine. Great teacher. Super funny. Answers any and all questions to the best of his ability.

This is my second class from Pro Griffiths and I think he is one of the coolest guys. He genuinely cares about students and does a great job answering questions and leading lectures in a way that we learned things applicable to us. His reading quizzes are straight forward, his tests are not bad if you go to the TA review.

STOP READING AND JUST TAKE GRIFFITHS!! hes amazing, hes inspirational, and hes easy. I learned so much from his class and grew so much spiritually. Hes also hilarious and he cares so much about his students. Lots of reading but super easy assignments.

Can't recommend this class enough. As long as you do the daily reading quizzes you'll pass. The tests are harder but the review sessions tell you everything you need to know. Will work with you to help you succeed! Great teacher.

Take from him- you won't regret it. I can't say enough good things. The average grade of the class was an A, and although there was quite a bit of reading, that was pretty much all you have to do outside of class. His lectures are inspirational and he's hilarious so going to class was never a problem. He was honestly the best religion teacher ever.

I loved Prof. Griffiths! If you need this class take from him. I looked forward to every class period which was inspiring and entertaining. He does talk fast but if you take notes on the red writing through his PowerPoints youll get all the info you need. I emailed him many times asking for help with my grade and he was very generous and kind.

Casey has great lectures. Super well put together and was engaging and interesting. He assigns a bunch of reading but u really don't have to do it. His TA test reviews go over 80% of the questions so tests are a breeze. 2 papers and that's it. A religion class that was both entertaining and easy, take Casey.

This is my 2nd time taking a class from him and he's great! Lectures are inspirational and funny and everything you need to know for tests is covered in the TA review. Plan ahead for the enrichment paper and doctrine paper and they won't be too difficult. I definitely recommend taking this class from him!

My best byu religion professor Ive had! Was very loving and super educated, helped expand our understanding of true doctrine in a very clear and agreeable way. I loved this class so much. I learned so much and Brother Griffiths was amazing at making difficult topics make sense. The only reason I didn't get an A was because I slacked at the beginning with attendance quizzes. The tests are also pretty easy--just look at the study guides and attend lecture. 20/10 would take this again!

I took Eternal Families and Foundations of the Restoration from Prof. Griffiths during Covid, and though the situation wasn't ideal for learning, I still had a great time! Very sensitive topics were discussed in both courses and were given the proper amount of care. Just participate and do your assignments and you'll have a great time!

This Religion class has been my favorite at BYU. It was easy, so I didn't have to worry about my grade so I actually was able to learn. It really strengthened my testimony and class was always a good time.

Pretty good class. He teaches a lot of spiritual and scholarly parts of the New Testament. Just be prepared to remember really small details from his lectures and scholarly terms for his tests.

This class is what all religion classes should be like. The workload is very light with only 5-question reading quizzes, 2 papers, and the midterms and final. Brother Griffiths himself is such a fun teacher! He constantly slips jokes into his lecture, has endless personal stories about famous church sites, and is always prepared. Loved his class!

Brother Griffiths is fun and entertaining in his lectures. He does so much to help students feel comfortable and engaged in the learning process, and he really dives into the historical context of church history, which I love. Sometimes I felt that the class was more of a history class than a religion class, though. He's still a great teacher!

Casey is the man!! He was probably my favorite religion professor thus far in my 2 years at BYU. This absolute stud of a man is a genius at what he does. He is very well organized and can effectively teach and answer questions in a remarkable way without pausing. It is insane to be a part of one of his classes! I would absolutely recommend him!

Great teacher. The lectures were very entertaining and I enjoyed coming to class everyday. I took 200 and 225 from him, and I learned a lot in both classes, but it was still pretty easy. Watch the TA reviews for the tests and you'll be golden.

Griffiths gives the kind of lecture that blows your mind, every single time. Take this class from him if you want an enjoyable lecture. The tests can be complicated, but the TAs help you know what to study for the exams, and as long as you put in enough time to be familiar with the material, you'll be okay. This has been one of my favorite religion professors at BYU. Considering that some of the topics taught are rather controversial, I feel like he did a fairly good job at trying to be inclusive and understanding. He is willing to learn and adapt. This class was not hard, except for the exams which you need to study for. Go to midterm reviews!

Great professor! I took the night class once a week and its not bad at all. Honestly I went to class like 4-5 times the whole semester cause he posts everything we need online. There is a lot of reading though and the tests are proctored online. We cant use any notes :( He does provide a lot of extra credit though which really bumps up your grade!

There are a lot of readings, but I would just recommend popping in your AirPods and listening to them while doing tasks like cleaning, getting ready, etc. The tests and quizzes are super simple/easy. So awesome and caring! He always makes his lectures caring and funny and so even if you have a hard time with the subject it is always bearable. He doesn't try to make it seem like the church always made the single best decision. He is first and foremost a historian L, so he doesn't try to bias or spin the information. Loved it, would take again.

Casey is the goat. 10/10 would recommend any of his classes, super clear grading criteria. We only wrote one paper and he prepares you well for the tests if you attend the lectures and go to the TA reviews. The TAs are your best friends in this course

His lectures are crucial to doing well on the exam, yet I went to all his lectures (he's just that good). I've never spoken to him in person, but I feel like he's my best friend. I really enjoyed Casey P Griffiths. His lectures were super interesting and we had a lot of very meaningful discussions. Homework outside of class wasn't bad. The tests were on very specific information but as long as you take notes on the TA reviews you'll be fine.

He is a wonderfully fun, kind, and engaging professor and I often felt the spirit in class, but I would not recommend taking the class during a term. I don't think it allows for enough time to really discuss the sometimes difficult topics that are covered in the course and the readings felt a bit overwhelming at times.

He is so funny and his lectures were great. I loved this course and learned so much I never knew before. It was a good course to take for the first semester of college. Weekly quizzes, a couple of papers, 2 midterms, and a final. The weekly readings are kind of a lot and time consuming, but insightful.

The course was pretty good, but the highlight was definitely our TA Christian Ames. He was definitely the best TA I've ever had. He taught us so well and deserves the highest praise a TA could receive.

There is A LOT of reading, and similar to other religion classes, a lot of the material taught is an attempt to add on to the knowledge from your mission. So if you didn't go on a mission like me, I had to study significantly more because I did not have the "basic" knowledge already. Go to Christian's reviews, he is the best TA at BYU.

You really don't have to go to class, but I always go. Everything is online so just do your homework. The test reviews are super comprehensive, you can get an easy A if you do your work.

The lectures for this class were my favorite of this semester; Brother Griffiths is so entertaining to listen to and I learned a lot in his class. There were about 2-2 1/2 hours of readings and videos per week and the TA reviews for the exam were really important for me to pass the exams. Overall a very fun class!

His lectures were always really entertaining, and there were two quizzes every week based on the readings, but it wasn't too hard. The tests were kind of confusing because all the answers could be right, and you have to choose the most correct one, but there's always extra credit you can do.

This class was super easy and fun. Griffiths made it easy to get extra credit, and I didn't do any of the readings. He posts study guides that are identical to the tests. I stopped going and got 100% on the tests. The daily quizzes only ask if you went to class, one question about a talk you can look at, and a typing answer. Highly recommend.

One of the best religion teachers on campus! Not too much homework (although readings can feel a bit long), and if you don't wait until last minute to do the larger projects, this class won't leave you feeling too swamped at the end of the semester. Go to the in person review with Christian, he's really good at summarizing everything on the test.

His eternal families class was wonderful. I am currently taking another class from him. Do the readings for the hw, go to class, and watch the TA's test review before the tests, and you will get an A.

I adore Professor Griffiths. He is such a light and made this class such a joy. He always kept me engaged and entertained.There is never a day that i leave with out feeling the power of the gospel. He's hilarious and really makes this a fun class.

Bro. Griffiths has really good lectures and his quiz assignments are pretty fair. The TA's make reviews for the exams, but some portions of the exams are still very difficult bc they say a lot "this is the only thing to know" and then it isn't asked.

It's a pretty standard religion course, and he doesn't make it too hard. Go to the test reviews, because they give you the answers to the test. As for the course, it's about church history, so there's some mental gymnastics that the church wants him to teach regarding polygamy, race-based priesthood, Book of Abraham's translation, etc.

If you want a good religion class, take a class from Professor Griffiths. He is an amazing speaker and teaches powerful lessons. The classwork is very manageable. You will have assigned readings before class. You will have three exams, but they are effortless if you go to the review. The class covers hard topics, and is such a testimony builder.

Brother Griffiths gives some of the most insightful and funny lectures out of any professor I've had. He is super willing to help students out in a pinch and offers a lot of extra credit. The class requires a lot of reading, a quiz every week on the reading (so you really have to read the stuff), 3 papers, and 3 exams.

Professor Griffiths did a great job with this class. He presented many sides and perspectives on difficult church history concepts and wasn't afraid to answer hard questions. It was a very uplifting class overall. I do think his jokes were funny, but they occasionally went a little too far on sacred subjects. Overall this was a great class though.

Prof. Griffiths is awesome! I learned more about church history in this class than in my whole life combined (and that is including my visits to every church history site lol). However, I will say that his tests are weirdly hard. Like you will feel prepared... and then BAM! You'll realize you didn't know anything. No advise, just warning ya.

He doesn't avoid difficult topics, welcomes questions and concerns, and fosters lecture discussions really well. The tests can be difficult, but if you look back through class slides you'll be fine.

I loved Professor Griffiths. Even though there is a lot of readings, they are all super good and he goes over the important parts during the lectures. I absolutely loved his lectures since he had a good sense of humor, taught clearly, allowed students to voice their opinions, and helped students understand the concepts required for the exams.

Griffiths cares about his students & what he is teaching which makes his lectures amazing. He is funny which kept me engaged during class. Grade-wise, I would say it is hard to get an A but easy to get an A-. The midterms & finals pretty much make up your whole grade & they are tricky. It is a challenge (for an A) but overall a good class!

Griffiths does a great job tackling controversial topics head on and his lectures are very engaging. Test questions can be ultra-specific and occasionally topics covered on the test were not found in the study guide. Assignments are super easy, just make sure to stay on top of the daily reading quizzes and you should be fine.

The only thing hard about this class are the exams, which honestly aren't his fault because there is so much content to know that it is hard to study and know everything. TAs are amazing and do super helpful reviews for the exams, but be prepared for tough exams.

Take diligent notes, because he has an insane amount of knowledge to share and you'll want to take note of it all. This was the first religion class I took that I genuinely enjoyed and didn't stress me out (grades wise). Brother Griffiths is hilarious and has incredible gospel insights. He really cares about his students and won't let you fail as long as you show up and put in a little effort. Assignments are pretty minimal and easy

Biiig fan of Bro Griffiths, really the only downside to this class is that the tests can be challenging--the class average on all 3 was around 87%. An A is still plenty doable though, about half the class ended with an A. Griffiths' lectures are excellent and he addresses tough topics well. Super knowledgeable. Looked forward to class every time.

This was my second time taking Professor Griffiths and I loved it. While there may be a lot of readings at times (you have to read/listen to most chapters of saints throughout), his lectures help condense down what was important. His lectures are a lot of fun and as long as you go to the TA reviews, you will do great on the exams.

Brother Griffiths was great! Lectures were engaging & a good blend of serious/funny. There was a lot to cover in class, but he was willing to answer questions/give other resources. Readings were long but interesting. Other than that there's not much homework, only a couple of papers/projects. Tests were from lectures & TA reviews were SUPER helpful

Great lecturer! Learned so much about the eternal family, and deepened my testimony. There is a lot of readings, but most you can 2x speed and listen to it. Tests are very detailed BUT the TAs run a review right before with all you need, so just watch the review and take it right after when the info is fresh. Would definitely recommend this class!

I was really dreading this class as a queer student, but Prof. Griffiths was awesome at teaching with compassion and understanding. I loved all of his jokes, but there are some about sensitive topics that some felt should be taken more seriously. The papers are graded really generously, and the tests are easy if you can memorize for a short time.

Professor Griffiths was really nice, but his tests are really hard. He has a ton of extra credit opportunities, so if you take advantage of those you should do well. He only had a few papers and two tests. Grades are helped by weekly quizzes. Go to class the day of your paper, they throw them away right after so you don't get your paper back.

Fabulous lectures. Exams and papers are all very manageable.

LOVED Dr. Griffiths, and I'm taking another class from him! If you want a religion class that's laid back and pretty easy assingment-wise BUT also really engaging, take from him!

I absolutely LOVED Professor Griffiths. His lectures were super engaging and he is super funny and always cracking jokes. There is a lot of reading for the class, but the quizzes are super easy and the workload is not bad at all. I would 100% recommend taking a course from him!

Prof. Griffiths is incredible! His lectures were insightful and he cares for his students well. He takes time to answer complex questions and sets you up for success.

It would take a special kind of person to dislike this class. Professor Griffiths teaches from the soul. One bigger paper and one engagement activity, but I would recommend this class to anyone. Papers really were not difficult and were mostly peer graded so tough to get a bad grade on them.

I love Casey, great teacher. Very interesting. Hw is just a lot of reading but not too bad and the quizzes are pretty simple anyways. The tests are overly complicated and you will have to study and memorize people and such. But not a terrible class and it's pretty easy to get an A if you just do the assignments

Professor Griffiths is an incredible teacher, role model, and friend. He has his class perfectly set up to allow students to succeed and know what is expected. From having an Apple TV to seamlessly share digital content, and engaging conversations about complex topics--he does it all with respect and passion for the topics at hand.

This was a very fun religion class. Brother Griffiths makes class entertaining and you discuss all sorts of different topics. Readings and quizzes are very easy. You don't need to take notes during class, but it's worth it to attend the reviews.

Professor Griffiths is wonderful and really knows how to entertain a class. I would always leave class feeling inspired and he helps you to expand your knowledge about topics discussed. Attend the exam review sessions from the TA and you will be fine. Really nothing to stress about, just do the readings and attend class and you will be totally fine

Brother Griffith's class was always a highlight of my morning, and I always left feeling uplifted by the Spirit. He is an absolute must for any student wanting to fulfill the doctrinal foundations credit. We had a clear rubric for the two essays and were given comprehensive reviews for the exams. Be wary of the exams as the questions can be tricky!

I love this class!! take foundations from Brother Griffiths!! He is so funny and is very good at keeping your attention in class. Assignments are pretty simple and straightforward. Easy A if you do the little bit of work required. Good amount of pre class readings but all from gospel library and I listened to them sped up while doing other things.

You have to study for each exam, but the TA tells you exactly what you need to know. One big paper and 2 smaller papers. Easy A if you put in the few hours a week this class requires.

Such an entertaining teacher. He's extremely knowledgeable about church history and answers questions so well. His tests can be a little tricky so you have to study and go to the TA review but if you do that you'll be just fine. Everything else is easy and participation based. Definitely take Foundations from him

Amazing lectures! Def take from him, he's makes all the stuff the church uses. So easy to get an A too. Literally 400 kids with an A after the final.

Great workload for a religion class! If you go to class and the test reviews, you'll do great!

Seriously such an amazing professor. Tests had a decent amount of information but if you go to the TA reviews and study you can get a good grade. One paper for the semester and a couple of enrichment assignments out of class with a short reflection but they didn't take much time. His knowledge about church history is insane.

I have taken two classes from Casey. He's a good teacher who cares deeply for how his students come to perceive the gospel and history of the church. His tests are easily prepared for through TA reviews, class, and quizlets. He's hilarious and has sincere moments that tie lessons together.

Honestly only attended this class twice the whole semester. Prof Griffiths was a super easy grader and all of the tests/assignments were online. I personally didn't get much out of the class but it was an easy A so whatever

Brother Griffiths is so engaging and articulate. He made discussions so interesting, and I better understood so many aspects of doctrine that I was struggling with a little bit. He also really tried to know everyone's names, and the review slides really gave you everything you need for tests.

Brother Griffiths is an amazing teacher who helped build my faith while also being entertaining and extremely knowledgeable on the topics involved. This is my favorite religion teacher! He is not only very kind and smart, but also hilarious. His classes are very entertaining. There are a few assignments and papers you need to do for his classes, but the instructions are clear and it is easy to get points. I would very much recommended to anyone.

This was my last religion class because I heard it was hard, but he made it one of the easiest religion class I have taken. It was very inspirational and I did not have to stress about class the whole time. I could just listen and learn. Grading is clearly outlined and readings are not bad. I listened to all the readings. Very entertaining class!

Loved this class so much! He is a wonderful professor and makes class super engaging and a delight to attend. The readings really do prepare you for class and allow for you to better understand the lecture. Super entertaining and you can see how much he cares about his students and wants them to succeed. TAKE FROM HIM. Seriously my favorite religion class of all time. Professor Griffiths knows so much and is so eager to share everything with the class! He is funny, engaging, and the worst part of the class is just the number of required readings for class and the quizzes. I would 100% take from him again. The tests are pretty straightforward too.

LOTS of assignments: before-class readings, enrichment papers, a final paper, and exams. One of the most time-consuming religion classes, but very worth it. His lectures are engaging and he is funny. TA reviews are useful, and exams are easy. His content makes me feel more prepared to be a good wife and mother and have a home full of the Spirit.

This class is very interesting and covers a lot of varied topics. The homework and major assignments are really easy, but there's a lot of assignments, so get ahead! He asks very good questions and will always answer any questions, so you will enjoy every lecture. However, the tests can be challenging, so review the material!

Brother Griffiths = goat. It's about growing your testimony rather than testing on memorization. If you do your readings the tests with be really easy. Amazing TA that actually would be willing to help you. I had no questions but if I did I know they would have helped. Brother Griffiths actually cares about students well being at BYU. Bless up

Would reccomend taking this class. He really cares about his students and the class is easy while you can still learn if you pay attention and attend class.

He is entertaining, with easy assignments and exams. Yet his church apologetics approach spends time answering esoteric questions, related to real concerns, but not the core issue. He uses rhetorical methods (like restating a student concern as a straw man for a laugh from the class) to play to those who think the church is not progressive enough
