This teacher is the one to get if you want to fail. She is NEVER organized

terrible teacher, never organized, can't answer your questions, tests are hard!

If you see her name as your next anatomy teacher, run the other way!!!

Very confusing teacher! She was never organized and came late to class. She does want her students to do well, but clearly needs a better method of teaching.

Bad teacher

This instructor is inconsistant with information that should be black or white scientific data. How could she not know these basic things? Your best bet is to avoid taking any course she offers!

Does not stay on one topic, but manages to stay "um" and "you with me" about 30 times in one sentence.

This professor has major issues! Not only was she unorganized 95% of the time, she was not considerate either in end of the semester grading. C'mon I mean not even .4 of a point for a "B" despite the fact that she referred other students to me for notes and pictures that I took with my digi cam! It's like she had a vendetta against "helping"!! =(

She is a very unorganize professor. She's always late to class,and unprepared.

I am currently taking this professor for the online version of bio 211. She is absolutely the worst instructor I have ever had. She does nothing. She just recently started giving us notes but that was only after the 2nd exam. I know this is an online class, but I took 210 online and the professor was one of the best and most involved I have had.

This is the worst instructor I have ever had. I am an A/B student and am not afraid of hard work. It doesn't matter how hard you work though. The students pay for her disorganization. She says she is going to give an exam review...but never does etc. She expects a lot out of her students but we aren't suppose to expect ANYTHING from her.

I already have a degree, so please believe me when I say - she's the worst teacher I've ever had! You can pull an A if you study, but you will be completely frustrated by her lateness, disorganization, mistakes on her slides, inability to explain the material, and lack of professionalism. Her lab instruction is also a complete waste of time!

Had to drop her class. She is awful. I also, already have a four year degree and have had many, many professors. She is the absolute WORST!!! She has no clue what she is talking about. She might as well not even be there. Her "notes" are outlines and lab...well, what's the use of even going. Why would any college allow her to teach is beyond me.

Worst professor I have ever had. She doesn't even understand what she is teaching.She spells important hormones wrong. She did a final review for us and only 4 or 5 questions on the review were on the final. There were even questions from a chapter we didn't cover. She isn't prepared for class. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Always late, never prepared. Her lectures were unclear, as well as her tests. I would not recommend this teacher to anyone.

Had her for 210 I did good I decided to take her 4 211. Bad idea!! Disorganized and you can count on her to be tardy. I received several 0's because of dr appts that I notified her in advance of.Once she taught a whole lecture and no one in the class when what she was talking about!!! We had to study the whole chapter on our own

Everything here is true! She is AWEFUL! I was a straight "A" student until her class, and I spent more time studying her class than any other in all of my time in school. A&P isn't as hard as she makes it. If I see her name on my schedule again, I will not only drop the class, but transfer schools. There is NO need for her to still be employed.

If you get this teacher I would drop the class. You always have to study because she does pop quizzes every class. The quizzes are not what she says they will be on. She goes over the models for lab for maybe 20 minutes and then you are on your own. If you want to pass Bio 211 I wouldnt take her.

Where do I begin? She is possibly the worst professor I have ever had. She was over an hour late for a scheduled meeting with me and then asked if I could come back the following day. She is extremely unorganized, habitually tardy and never even remembers most students names. Her tests contradict the textbook, her knowledge is very limited. AVOID

DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS FROM THIS PROFESSOR!! I had her as my lab instructor for A&P for Summer 09. She is the second worst professor I have encountered. Her apathy for teaching is extremely evident. She is lazy and disorganized. She conducts quizzes to avoid teaching and to make her department head think that she is doing something. I made an 'A'.

I had this professor for lab. I pity the students who had her for lecture. I am amazed that this instructor is still able to keep her job. She was unorganized, unprepared and unprofessional.

Horrible! Took her for 210 got a D but couldn't fit a new 211 in my schedule so I had to stick it out. Prob will finish with a B but she doesn't know half of the info, says to study one thing and it's never on the test, can't pronounce half of the words correctly, i'm surprised after all those negative evals she still has a job at TTC!

didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, was late to class every day except 2, could not answer questions clearly, the only way i got an A was to just study the powerpoint and ignore her completely!

Very disorganized. Always confused. She gets her labs mixed up. She cannot remember what she has covered and tests on chapters not covered yet. Same in lab.Does not teach beyond cell,neuron,and facial muscle models. Will not answer questions. Acts like she cannot hear you. Maybe better at higher level of Biology.

I had to withdraw from this class because she wasn't a good teacher. She goes over the material to fast.!!!!

I love Biology and I always have. Dr. Robinson is a good person and may be a great Biologist but she is a horrible teacher. She does not teach. She adds a lot of questions on her test that she never went over and are not even in the book. She is very unorganized in lab and lecture. I am an a/b student and i have very in depth study habits.

She is a horrible instructor. She goes over her power points way too fast and expects you to know what she is talking about "are you with me class?" She doesn't follow through with what she says and is extremely disorganized. I feel very unprepared to enter BIO 211 due to her lack of teaching.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Constantly showed up to lab and class late. I don't understand how you show up to class late when the lab was right before. Fails to teach just skims through power points and expects you to get it. If you get her I would look into switching teachers and save yourselves from having to withdraw.

An absolute stay away! This is by far the most heartless, unmotivated teacher I have ever experienced. Do not, under any circumstances take a class with this woman.

Completely terrible, Lecture sucked, lab sucked, all around sucked

This professor was the worse I had. Had this teacher for both lecture and lab, but she wouldn't answer any questions we had about the material. We never knew our grades either. We had no clue what our cumulative grade was until it was too late, and she didn't give any extra credit to help make up any other grades

This professor treated our 14 week course like it was an online course even though it wasn't. Quizzes were solely based on the book and created by the book instead of by her lectures and they were online. Lab quizzes did not have specific dates and her syllabus was very confusing. I did not care for her style of teaching!

She goes into depths on the quizzes and tests that she does not go into while teaching. Therefore, her quizzes and tests are nothing like the material covered in class. She reads off slides, doesn't help you understand and piece things together.

Worst lab experience I have ever had. Always late for lab with no apology or explanation given. Had for hybrid lecture also. Quizzes are timed online, not enough time given. Points at lab models and tells what they are then goes and sits down rest of lab. Tests for lecture very hard with hardly any guide given what to study. Avoid at all costs!!!

I suggest dropping any class with her or plan on suffering everyday. She never reads emails or follows back up with you, her notes/Ppts for each chapter are 100+ pages, reviews are a secret, homework is irrelevant to test. Dont join without thinking about the time you have available. I studied 12+ hours/day and still struggled. So be aware of that.

She doesnt care. 200 page powerpoints, 30 page notes, lecture videos that arent her or cover what she tests over, refers to YouTube videos, tests are impossible to pass.

Sweet lady, but not a great teach by no means. Unfortunately I am preparing myself to take this class again. The tests are impossible to pass. Unrealistic powerpionts pages to memorize.... out of all the classes I felt like they did not care....

I had her in the fall of 2021; I should have been paid for teaching myself. She never responds to emails promptly. It's true that she told us what was going to be on the quizzes, but for finals, it was HARDLY anything we learned in class. She just makes vague PowerPoint videos and reads exactly what it says on the screen without explanation.

She was nice, however, the class was very hard. The questions on our tests were worded differently than what she would practice with us. The pictures also used in tests were sometimes from the textbook and sometimes I had never seen them before. She doesn't give extra credit at all.

Professor Bishop-Robinson is a fine person, but as a teacher is lacking in many categories. She has given my class unclear instructions, new information for an exam that we were doing the next day, she does not explain processes in lecture (only tells you the bare minimum), and has zero forgiveness for any spelling errors. If you have her Good Luck

Professor is slow to respond to communications and even slower to grade. I could never get better than a C on her exams. The test content is almost always different than the lectures, and often I never received scores to even know what I was getting wrong. She seems kind, but learning anything in this class was very difficult.

She is not one to help you prepare for exams. Says the quiz or exam will be on something, but it would be on the total opposite thing she told us it would be on. If you take this class make sure to study on your own time, and if she tells you something is not on the exam or quiz study it anyway because it most likely will be.

she consistently uploads tests and quizzes in an untimely manner, doesn't give clear instructions in writing on what we have to learn, and she puts questions on the test which we have never seen or she has never went over. Instead of going step by step with the model she just gives a list and tells us to study more.

This professor did a very good job in the beginning of the year with going through the lectures and preparing us for the labs. As the year progressed, she lost motivation, skipped many lectures which all made us very unprepared for the labs and tests. We would ask what was going to be on the tests, and what she would tell us was completely wrong.

The professor often will test on material that is not covered at all. When testing for pratical and test the professor will use images that are not a good source for understanding what you are looking at, and will use multiple different images from different sources all equally bad. The material is not hard to understand, just a lot to read.

I would absolutely never take this course with Professor Bishop-Robinson again. She obviously has a lot on her plate, since she would routinely get us mixed up with another class that was ahead of us, didn't tell us proper deadlines, and left out information that would be on the final exam. She is not helpful at all outside of class. 0/10 :(

failed me by 0.05% after attending every single class, dissection, and completing every assignment. never responded to my email about anything i could so to fix the ZERO POINT ZERO FIVE PERCENT that i "failed" by. dissappointed that ttc employs her. would never take her course again.

Absolutely under no circumstances should you take a class by this professor. She literally wastes our time for lab. Showed up an hour late for our last exam day with no apology. Extremely unprofessional. Points to small models that we can barely see in the classroom. Literally teaching myself everything. Waste of my time & money. Needs to be fired.

I do not recommend her for any online course.

She literally failed half of the class the day after the class was over by repeating whatever your final exam grade was an Exam 4 grade, which was never ONCE discussed. She also waited until the very last moment to make the final exam available. Literally ruined this career path for me. Needs better training.

This professor made this course absolutely impossible to achieve a B or above. Only ONE student in a class of 20 PEOPLE was able to achieve a C or above. This teacher NEEDS to be investigated. Set us up for failure MULTIPLE times.

ABSOULTELY A GIGANTIC WASTE OF YOUR TIME. DO NOT TAKE HER COURSE, SHE DOES NOT TEACH A SINGLE POWERPOINT THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR THE FINAL. RATHER, SHE LISTS OFF A WORD BANK FOR THE PRACTICAL AND CALLS IT A DAY. NOT WORTH YOUR ENERGY!!!

I should not have to take this class over again or withdrawal or take a heavy hit to my GPA simply because YOU SET US UP TO FAIL.

Absolutely ruined my GPA and tanked my chances of at Pre-Nursing. Thank you for absolutely NOTHING. Submitted a last-minute fake grade just to get her paycheck, and ruined msot of the class's shot at the medical field. She is an actual JOKE of a professor.

This woman needs to be FIRED. We need to collectively speak to the administration office about her, she wasted our time, money, and grade point average. Honestly so done with this woman, tried to be nice about it, but now it's time to get mf feral.

I'm an honor's student, top of the dean's list for two years straight. This woman single handedly tanked my grade point average along with many others who could not afford to withdrawal from her course. It is a shame that professors like her exist. She needs to be fired, how does she still work here?

Wrongfully failed half of the class by adding in an Exam 4 grade that was the same as the Final exam grade. This Exam was never once discussed, nor disclosed that it would mimic the Final Exam grade. She will not get away with this, we have the receipts.

Does not adequately cover lab or lecture material. Offers no study guides. No reviews before tests. Will not respond to emails until after the question you asked is no longer relevant. Neglected to let us do dissections. No calendar, schedule, addendum, or list of objectives. Spare yourself the pain and take literally any other 210 class.
