Very passionate about her field of expertise. Same desire passed to students. Expects you to develop a higher level of thinking. Although, her personality is one of you like her or you don't. To each his own. My experience has been wonderful.

She's a really nice teacher, hard, but nice. I've learnt the most from her in both enc1101 and 1102 then I have with any other english teacher in my life. She's very enthusiastic in teaching, and wants you to get the most out of every class.

As long as you do your work she is a wonderful teacher. She is very helpful, cares a lot about her students, and she is very easy going. She likes getting out of class early.

I took her American Lit 1 class. She is hard on the essays, but if you want to do well, she will help you. all you have to do is ask. I loved her lectures on Hawthorne and Emerson. She also allows you and expects you to think for yourself. Take Her class!

THIS PROFESSOR IS AWESOME. IF YOU GO ABOVE AND BEYOND THE COURSE YOU WILL DO GREAT. IT IS NOT HARD TO MEET THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE. SHE ACKNOWLEDGES ANYONE WHO GOES TO OUTSIDES SOURCES.

First impression: Oh dear, what'd I get myself into. She seemed too sweet, like she was merely pretending in order to gain our trust. I expected to come back the next day to a raving lunatic, luckily, I didn't. She turned out to be one of the best english teachers I've every had. Very passionate.

If you do the assignments like she asks you will do good in the course. However, if you go above and beyond in her class you will do better. She is a great teacher who wants the best for her students, I would recommend her to anyone.

Well, she is definitely not the best teacher around, but it was easy enough to get an A in the class. I basically dislike English Comp. That was my real problem.

she is an awesome teacher who cares about her students and what is going on with them. she will let you come to her office without bothering her. she is demanding on research papers but will let you redo them if you need to. expect seminar discussions and group activities on a regular basis in this class

She is a GREAT teacher!! She is very understanding and helpful. She wants everyone to do well. Take her, she is WONDERFUL!!

she keeps you on your toes and makes you think past what you are reading. she is very passionate about the subjects and she lets students come up with their own opinions and discuss it amoung themselves.

Dr. Robison has been a good supporter and mentor. Need more class active discussion to re-enforce the grammar lecture. However,she is A+ teacher.

This professor's passion for literature is contagious. I left the first night of class feeling inspired--and the inspiration never stopped the whole semester. She offered critical review of my papers that benefitted me more than any other professors before her or after her.

This is the subject where she reigns! If you are interested at all in poetry, sign up for this class fast. She will take you far!!!

I learned alot from her.She did a great job. She helped everyone in the class if anything needed. I passed with an A in my final. I will take her again.

I really enjoyed Dr. Robison. I was a little worried when I read her ratings before I took her class but she isn't as bad as some make her out to be. She knows her subject and will always be there to help you, you just have to make an effort. Her tests are easy. She is very understanding. Just give her respect and you will breeze through her class.

I love English, and so does she. Expect hard core mental challange when it comes to your ability to write with poetry. She is hard but good.

Alright, I am on both sides of the fence. First I love English, SHE lives and beathes english. Yes she can be understanding and she can also flat out be mean and rude. Is she justified when she does it yes, people this is college and you are accountable

I enjoy her class and she was very helpful when you asked for it. I will be taking her again for enc1101 in the fall this year.

She is fair to her students- FAIR people. Doesnt mean she is a push over, doesnt mean she is mean. She gives students a chance but also wants them to take responsability for themselves/their grades/their work. SO if you want to LEARN then take her. If you are looking for an easy A and a easy class you can sleep through, find someone else.

This professor is amazing! Take this class if you are serious about literature and learning new things. I also had her for a year of creative writting and that class is also really great. She allows a lot of room for your own thinking and respects your work as long as you respect each other. Take this class if you are serious and you will do well!

She's is a much experienced teacher, but at the same time learns with us students. her class is all about improvement. you will be amazed at how much you will grow after taking her class.

This teacher is my savior for writing! She will find your inner poet and feed your muse until it grows with the wisdom that she so lovingly shares with all of her students. Dr. Robison, is a great prof. I enrolled in ENC 1102 for the summer and it was great. The class was fast, but not hard at all. If you follow her teaching style you can earn an "A"

She is like mary poppins meets the exorcist!She is extremely anal about things being done her way. I did great on her essays but, her grammar tests are HARD and make no sense. I actually love how she teaches "writing skills" but can't stand how she taught grammar. For the most part she's not bad... just don't get on her bad side.

The best by far, Please do not waste her time. If you are not there to learn go home. She is one of the most education, respectable professor I have had the pleasure of being taught by. Enjoy her, she is strict but worth it!!

Dr. Robison is a bit of a moody, old-fashioned type of woman, who can get very particular with assignments (especially about following MLA format!), but she really is an amazing professor. Even though she seems very cross, she has the general well-being of the class in mind, and definitely enjoys her job, making her a joy to learn from.

I absolutely adore Dr. Robison-Yes, she can be hard, but that means that you are not willing to work or learn. She is helpful, responds to emails and LOVES her job! If you love English this is your Prof. If not- she will help you to understand it better and maybe even learn to love it!

Dr. Robison is a fantastic Professor if you love Reading and learning about literature. Took this class online and even though it was summer I was able to complete this course with a high grade. She really loves and knows her stuff. I have never liked the "classic" authors such as Hawthorne and I have learned to appreciate the greatness of the man.

I absolutely hated Poetry. This class is FULL of poetry, but Now, I love it. I had no clue that I could even write but thanks to Dr. Robison I learned quickly what it took to get my heart involved. This is my 3rd class with her and If that doesn't tell you anything then- here goes: She is a fantastic Professor. If you work hard, you will excel.

She is THE professor for Creative Writing. Not sure about other classes but for CRW she KNOWS how to teach it. Even if your not into CRW, she has some very interesting stuff to show.You must be in class. Made great effort to make everyone comfortable in critique. If you do your portfolio correctly there is no reason not to get an A.

If you're respectful, show up for class every time, do your work, and pay attention in class, there is no reason as to why you won't get an A. Work for your grade and you'll do fine!

Dr Robison is a nice lady but very tough. The research paper topic got changed in the 9th week-frustrating. She is a TOUGH grader. But overall, she really wanted the students to succeed and gave plenty of extra credit opportunities. I worked very hard for my A and that was ok because it made me a better critical reader and writer.

Professor Robinson is a great teacher! I took her online so from my experience she's well organized and will help you whenever you need it. She's even there to suggest help for other classes. The only issue is she can be a tough grader at times but she pushes you to do better! You will definitely need both your books for her class though.

Very energetic and upbeat. Lectures were happy and optimistic outlining hope & salvation in readings. Reading Faulkner in this class helped me finalize my decision to become an English Major. I don't know why anyone had a problem with her grading. I never revieved less than a 95. However, I used proper grammar and completely answered the prompts.

Awesome teacher. Had her for English 1 and 2. When writing essays she gives you as many chances as you need to keep correcting things if she finds any wrong. Her quizes are really easy, she lets you use your notes. Very caring. Wants you to make a good grade. Really helpful.
