I took this BUS COMM class in the summer and the class was so easy. She is such a good teacher and explains things so well. Expects alot from you. Watch out for your grammar and READ THE CHAPTERS for exams. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

i looooooooove this teacher mrs.rocwell has to one of the best teachers in this school, evertime i went to her class i felt soo welcomed, i had tons of fun when i was there i took her bus 32 in the summer, dont forget to read the chapters and partcipate

class was kinda boring. she can be moody. just make sure you pay attention in class and participate here and there, and she won't be a **** to you. assignments are tedious. make sure you read the chapters for the test.

Rockwell is one of the must have teachers for those majoring in Business. She has a keen sense for who the serious students are and encourages them every step of the way. The assignments, tests, and group project are simple and straightforward. Definitely take Bus 32 with her!

She is a cool teacher, Just do the homework and u will be fine. Just go to class.

Professor Rockwell is probably the best professor for business communications at SMC!! She is patient, explains everything, and grades fairly. If you ever decide to take bus32, take it with her!!

ms rockwell is an amazing teacher. me and my girlfriend both got an A in her winter session class. she was very helpful and always very nice. when u talk to her she is very understanding just cant assume she knows whats going on with you!! everyone must take her im looking for another class of hers

She is really helpful teacher, I learn a lot from her. Just study the textbook and you'll be fine. All test are multiplechoices. A lot of extra credit that bump up your grade.

In my opinion, she gives out easy B, but not A. You just have to spend about an hour or more after each class. She is nice and she will help you as long as you try.

Difficult tests and stickler for grammar. If you write reasonably well, participate in class, and study regularly, I think there's a lot you can take from her class. If you're in school for easy grades and socializing more than learning, then it's probably not the class for you.

THE BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD. taking another class with her next semester. So sweet, helpful and she wants your best. Gives you alot of opportunities to get credits. Easy to learn and easy to study for tests. She is amazing!

Professor Rockwell is a great teacher, but you have to put in effort. For slackers or those hoping for an easy class, this is not for you. She could have been more clear with instructions the first time around, but otherwise, I enjoyed the class and learned a lot.

Exceptional teacher, expect to learn and challenged. Couse requirements are clearly defined, expect lots of work and make sure you select a good group for the class presentation. Be prepared for lots of written assignments and remember- In class if you perform poorly you get a "D", in business your "Fired".

Second time taking this professor, bc I enjoyed first class. She is enthusiastic, and expects you to be engaged in the class while in session. In part, your grade will be determined this factor. Don't take her class if you're not willing to put in the effort. You can get an A if you simply pay attention.

Attendance is mandatory. Professor Rockwell has a pretty intimidating personality and can come off as mean sometimes.However, she really wants to see her class do well and cares about her students. There is a lot of classwork and homework. The tests are based off the book and slightly hard. I managed a C.

6 week winter session. She is funny, tests are multiple choice (50-75 questions) + extra credit (easy) but READ the book because she doesnt have time to explain EVERYTHING. Will tell u whats on the test. Very clear, doesnt put students down. Likes for you to participate in class. I actually like her. Take!

I have really enjoyed Professor Rockwells classes, she a tough teacher, she will expect you to do the work she has assigned and she will help you through it if you ask for help. I have learned a lot taking her classes (BUS1 and BUS32) and even though it was difficult from time to time it was worth it.

You will learn so much in this class! Stuff that you can use in real life like how to write a resume, cover letter different strategies on how to write letters. She gives out a lot of extra credit so everyone has a fair chance! 5 Quizzes 1 research paper and 5-7 short letterspapers. Love this class and Cassie is a great teacher!

Very good Professor. Challenging class but very interesting with this professor.

Professor Rockwell was worth waking up in the morning with her honest lectures that were very sincere. Make sure you study on your own time for about an hour or so everyday and you'll be more than fine. She also offers plenty of extra credit that ensures you at least get a B.

The only reason i got a C in this class was because Professor Rockwell is a generous person. I kinda screwed up the class by not showing to class for the first 2 weeks , so i didn't really know what learn smarts were and how to do them, i missed out on some of them and screwed on the quizzes as well. I should have gotten a F.

We covered 25 plus chapters in 6 weeks. Professor Rockwell kept us on task and on track. She brought outside resources also that was very helpful and inspirational

Really good and a great sense of humour, had an 8am class but did not feel like a drag since professor made it so fun and lively! Just pay attention to what she says and follow strict instructions and you will be fine!

Rockwell is extremely supportive of her students and wants to see everyone succeed. She pushes you to try. She might be a little confusing or unorganized but if you ask her questions she'll answer you as best as she can. I passed with a B. I probably could've gotten an A if I didn't bomb one test. And open note for 15min at the end of test.

Prof. R is great! She is both well-informed and charismatic; NOT boring. Lectures are mix of text & real-life examples. Group projects were EXTREMELY helpful to applying the material + simple assignments for credit. REQUIRED text with online code to complete McGraw-Hill homework. 4 tests, 4 projects, 1 final many chances to get a good grade.

BUS 20. I would definetely choose her again if I could

She's my favorite professor on campus. I took Principles of Marketing and she included the students in the class and we often had open discussions. She made sure everybody knew what we were doing and she made the classes fun! Very kind and warm person that offered me help with choosing my major. I would definitely choose her as a professor again!

Rockwell is a very nice person and a very easy teacher. The only criticism I have of the course is that there was way too much work - tons of reading, LearnSmart, videos to watch and answer questions on, discussions, quizzes, etc. No papers though, which was a plus. Nothing is dropped though; you have to do it ALL or lose points. Still, an easy A.

She is an amazing teacher and has a lot of great stories to share with the class. Shes also such a nice person, really caring and helpful. Do your work - easy A.

Professor Rockwell is an amazing and inspirational Professor with a lot of interesting stories. She seem to really enjoy teaching, and she saw and tried to get to know every student instead of just looking at the class as a group, which I found great.

She is really clear of what she is expecting from you and if you do your homework and turn your assignments in on time you'll get an A. Would definitely take her again!

Professor Rockwell's energy is so great. She really makes the class fun and lighthearted. Fair amount of reading and homework but it was a joy to be in this class.

Professor Rockwell is an amazing professor! I love that she interacts with her students through discussion board discussions, she even posts her response as well! She reads and replies to all her students. She is very encouraging and believes in her students' capabilities.

Professor Rockwell was amazing - very kindhearted and understanding of students' situations. HR Ethics was one of my favorite courses this quarter. Just follow along with the modules and engage with the extra credit opportunities (there are many) if you need to, and you're guaranteed an A.

Professor Rockwell responded to every discussion with feedback on what we'd written. Majority of the non-textbook related assignments were about our own experiences in the workplace, as well as how they tied in to what we were learning in class.

Very encouraging teacher and wants you to learn from the class. Assignments were very easy and simple. As long as you do the assignments and follow the rubric you'll get a good grade.

I learned Cabot 102-3370, but there was no such option to choose. I learned it at Glendale Community College. The materials were interesting and useful. I have got enough knowledge. The professor is good, she gives good feedback. I enjoyed learning this subject.

Rockwell made a fun course! She's nice. I'd get rid of those awful LearnSmart and training videos though, those were a waste of time. There were too many tests and were all multiple choice auto-graded and some of the questions were dumb. Easy class but I didn't really learn very much. The message board discussions were the best part of the class.
