She is a really fun teacher. Sometimes she goes a little overboard, but overall she is a pretty good teacher. She is very lenient when it comes to handing in late assignments and gives lots of extra credit.

she is the greatest teacher. she posts her notes online and gives you study guides before the exams. she is very helpful and responds immediately to your emails. her exams are sometimes a little tricky, but if she sees that the whole class did poorly on it she will curve it !! her essays are so easy, i had 2 essays to do. i would def take her again

She took tough topics and with enthusiasm, knowledge of the subject and humor,made you look forward to her class. Essays require some thought, but she's always willing to help you understand what she's looking for. Lots of class participation in a fun way. Good system of essays and tests midway through and she's fair with grades.

Took Professor Cat for 20th Century U.S. history. She was funny, good class, easy tests. She wants you to pass, take her! Plus she's an awesome crazy cat lady. Don't buy the textbook though, you won't use it.

Great professor, fun and enthusiastic. 2 term papers, 2 writing assignments and 3 tests...all easy. She gives review sheets for every test. She's also NOT one of those professors who think that her class is the only one you're taking; she knows you have other class obligations so she schedules due dates that don't conflict with midterms and finals.

Took her for western civ she's awesome & hilarious, i never dreaded going to class..she interacts with everyone & is very clear on assignments--take her, you wont be sorry! :]

Great professor all around. Lectures are clear and fun. You don't need to buy a book. Her website is great with everything you could ever need for the class. There is no cumulative final. She is funny as hell. Great atmosphere to learn. I will deff. take her again.

Great professor. She kept the subject of history interesting throughout the entire course. The writing assignments can be a little challenging. The tests were fair, and she gives you a review sheet for each one. Not difficult to get an A as long as you show up, do the work, and go over the review sheets.

For those of you who come to school because your parents want you to do not waster your and her time. One of the most if not the most conscious professor I ever had. Great sense of humor and a very high level of intelligence. Highly recommend to take her class. I took two of them and still want more. Very helpful and generous, fun and illuminative!

Professor Cat was extreamly funny and helpful. She makes the class fun so u want to come to class. There was 3 writing assignments and 4 tests but she drops the lowest test grade (that includes the midterm and final). I would defently take this class again.

Shes really funny, likes to curse and be loud. Shes the best. Kinda hard with all the writing assignments and papers, but i got an A. The tests are not easy, but she gives really thorough review sheets. She grades on content in her papers, not writing skills. Shes fun, but not easy. Chilli peppers!

What class are you taking? We've gotten like three assignments and everything is due by midnight. Readings are really tough but the tests are easy.

She's a really good professor! I'm taking her class online and I admit, there IS a lot of work, but she is very helpful and reasonable if you are having a problem. What I think is the best thing though, is that she is really involved. She participates in the online discussions. It's not a one sided online class, she's super engaging.

She's amazing. I am finishing up taking for a second time, and have already decided to take her for a third. She's got opinions about everything, swears a lot, and has a great sense of humor. She's not easy with the work, but put an effort in and you'll be fine.

She is very informed as to what she teaches. Gives 3 writing assignments which we're fair but the exams we're piece of cake!! There are alot of extra credit so you could end up with a 115 on a test..That was great for me it bumped me two letter grades..Take her!! She keeps you awake and you actually learn something!! I know I did!

I love Professor Cat. She's such an intelligent and down to earth woman who really enjoys her field. She tells you in the beginning of your course that she doesn't give out grades; you earn them, and this is true down to the T! This is my second class with her and I recommend her to anyone who wants to enjoy history for a change.

oh i forgot to mention that she doesn't use the textbook at all, she posts her notes on her website www.professorcat.com. so you can just print out the notes from the library, it's a big save.

I recently took her class during the summer. Not only was it very educational, it was actually fun. Prof. Cat made history fun. Very easy, and interesting teacher. Might be dry to someone who isn't as interested in the subject, but teacher is still entertaining. Just don't take the online Hist-102.

She is a pretty decent teacher. Her lectures are very informative and she explains things very clearly. However, I felt she weighted too much of the grade on the assignments. The entire semester we only had 3 writing assignments and they're worth 40% of the grade! But overrall, she is a decent teacher and it was a fun class to be in.

Prof Cat, is a comedian, she loves history & teaches it to her best knowledge. She gives out review sheets for her test a week in advance & even does a review in class. You can email her for questions too! History can be boring but, she makes it enjoyable with her jokes & potty mouth! haha. WRT Assignments are hard, but she's not a tough grader. N

Professor Graney is one of the last amazing professors left at BCC who haven't been fired yet. She makes her classes extremely entertaining, she's totally down to earth and is very clear about what's on her exams. She makes u want to show up to class. All in all u'll laugh and learn ur way through the whole semester without even realizing it.

She's a very interesting charater. Before taking her, I completely dreaded the idea of History. Now, not so much. She is absolutely hilirous, down to earth, and tries her absolute hardest to make things interesting. Her tests are hard, because they actually make you think. Don't take this class if you're looking for an easy A.

Hard work is needed. She gives you history in a non b.s. way, completely raw and funny. She makes history, with her cursing and jokes, much more enjoyable. Assignments can be tedious writing, ask her what is looking for and answer all the questions. Read correlating chap before taking any quizzes and have the print out notes handy. Worked for me:)

Prof Cat was a pretty cool professor. History tends to be dull at times but she always knew how to wake up her students. Her potty mouth and hilarious jokes made the time in class even better. Papers are tedious and exams can be a tad hard. But once she started doing reviews the course became easier.

What is wrong with you people? I took Professor Graney for Western Civ II. Due to a family emergency, I was absent for half the semester and failed to hand in papers/written assignments, and STILL managed to get a C+. Had I not been absent, I would've gotten an A. Her exams are EASY. Pay attention, and take notes. She's the easiest professor. Clear

GREAT professor. Her notes are clear and she is always available to answer questions after class or during her office hours. Not particularly easy- you NEED to study to do well on exams- but she makes the class enjoyable, even if you don't like history.

Lots of great information given. Lectures are efficient. Study with her if you want to learn. Plenty of opportunities to practice writing skills, making it the one of the best Gen. Ed. class I've ever taken. Extra credit opportunities are plentiful. Her website is the most useful I've found at the college.

Great professor, brutal class. Does mostly lectures in class which are often very funny, and everything else is done online, so be sure to have a computer with the internet available when taking her class. I reccomend her class, but hesitantly so. I did get an A in her class, but in large part due to extra credit and some generous curves.

not much work assigned,however when it is,the stuff might be kinda hard...better study in her class,or you'll simply fail the tests.All her stuff is posted up on her web site,so you dont need notes.She's smart (knows history like her back pocket) and likes to act that way,so prepare for some hard questions.All history classes and teachers are tough

very intresting , but her test and exams OMG!!! you have to work really hard to pass it good.She makes a lot of tricky questions so even if you know the material sometimes i wasnt sure what she meant there. This class is a LOT of work . And a lot of reading.

Half of this class was online so she did pick extremely long articles for the homework but besides that, she's great! She actually takes the time to help and work with you individually if you're having trouble and she always relates the discussions to something interesting. Her tests are not tough as long as you read her PowerPoint/notes.
