Shes a real asset. Take her if you can
The prof is amazing and really cares about her students. She went out if her way to help and is for sure the best professor I have had thus far! Take her if you get a chance.
She uses the same template for each course, she does not create a learning plan associated to the type of class she is teaching. She'd rather stick to global learning of cultures and have students teach chapters instead of herself. She is inconsistent with attendance and does not work with working students. She is not a credible HR professional
Professor Wengelnik was excellent! She is very caring and definitely wants you to succeed in her class, your career and in public speaking. She loves soft skills and gives you tons of advice for your career. Projects were a bit intimidating initially but very doable in the end. Will definitely take her again! Awesome professor. Take her if you can
The professors class was very enlightening. Group projects were a learning experience. Presentation in front of a group! Her course prepares you for the business environment. . Make sure you participate. she grades fairly. Awesome professor and mentor.
She is amazing! During COVID she was so caring and understanding and sent us inspirational quotes. AMAZING person! Also, she has high expectations but she helps you through it. She wants participation and makes you do the work but this has been my best class so far. She has been a wonderful professor for my last semester! She is a real asset!!!!
She gives you lots of insights into international aspects of business. Also she is very caring and supportive of her students. She does make the class extremely fun and interactive. I recommend her to anyone.
We had her during the virus who affected us all. She was amazing and so thoughtful. She created an inspirational group for us even changed the final so that we have less work during this stressful time. SHE IS AMAZING and so thoughtful and so caring. THank you Professor for everything you do for us! I wish I was not graduating and would have discov
I recommend this professor for any classes you can take with her. At first it seeems like a lot, but it is not. Be organized and communicate with your classmates and you will be fine. Professor is very caring and honest. The class is very interactive and she makes it fun. At the end, you will learn new skills and appreciate you took her class.
I think this professor is the best! All of the material covered is interactive and useful. One of the things I really appreciated about Dr. W's class was how her method of teaching was engaging for everyone in the class. I took her class during the pandemic COVID-19 and she was always available if you needed her. I would 100% recommend!
THis professor is amazing! she is very caring and brings lots of experiences to the classroom. I loved how much I learned about soft skills and multimedia stories. I feel I learned so much much than what is in the text. 100% recommend to take if you can.
Prof Wengelnik wants her students to succeed and will go out of her way to encourage, support and guide them. Her assignments seem overwhelming in the beginning but she is very fair and the work load is manageable if you communicate with your groups. There is a lot of group work. She does her best to give real life examples and prepare you for life
A REAL GEM!
Professor W. really cares about you! Helped me a lot and goes out of her way. She brought the international perspective to class and has tons of experience! A real asset to TAMUSA!
Dr. Wengelnik is an exceptional professor. She is unbiased and fair in her views and lectures. She works with students to ensure they understand the concepts being taught and actively encourages classroom participation. She is knowledgable and personable and truly cares for her students success. We could use more professors like her.
Super nice and very understanding. Lots of group projects and hands on work. Would highly recommend!
Professor Wengelnik was very helpful whenever you had any questions or doubts in assignments. There is team/group work projects. The syllabus is clear and her lectures and resources are helpful and useful.
Would not take her again
The class is overwhelming at first. Definitely lots of work but a few weeks in I realized that the preofessor really wants to help you do well. She has lots of international experience and is a great leader and mentor. Don't get intimiated at first. It was a terrific class and she is really awesome and helpful. Five stars from me for her efforts
At first the class seems like alot of work but If you work through it you will realize its pretty standard
Professor Wengelnik is THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD. Hands down! She really cares and is very knowledgeable. She makes learning fun and rewarding. I cannot thank her enough for all of her wisdom and efforts! A true asset for sure!
I believe professor Wengelnik is one of the best professors at Texas A&M-San Antonio. She gives great feedback, and teaches in such a way that you develop into a better professional. She really looks to challenge your way of thinking from a business standapoint.
Time management is key to your success in this course. As long as you meet your deadlines and follow directions group projects are a breeze.
Professor Wengelnik CARES! She wants the best for all her students and gives great feedback.
Professor Wengelnik is a one of a kind professor who truly cares about the success of her students. You will sharpen your communication skills in this class, and your organization/leadership skills will be tested. DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE HER CLASS! You will learn so much about yourself and you classmates.
This professor is legit. She is super helpful. You learn a lot about leadership and real world experiences. She really helps you to succeed as long as you do your work. I highly recommend this professor. She is an asset to any university and she has taught in Germany and France and has tons of international experience.
Prof. Wengelnik uses a more spiritual learning style of teaching with less busy work and more independent learning with an emphasis on group projects. Attendance is not mandatory. She really does care about her students and their success. Participation matters. However, it is upon you to set your own progress and manage your time.
Professor Wengelik is a true gem. She genuinely cares about her students and their success. I really enjoyed her class. I can't wait to take more of her courses!
I've taken her my last two semesters and if I would have met her early on I would have taken more of her courses. She's really nice and only wants the best for us. Very caring and would recommend her to anyone. If you are lost at any point, don't be afraid to ask, she's always there to help!
she has a different way of teaching but once you get use to it, you should do ok.
This professor has a different style of teaching, which in all honesty threw me off completely at the beginning of the semester. However, after I calmed myself down a bit, reached out to her for further clarification, and also networked with my classmates to figure out what exactly was expected of me for this course, I had a great experience.
I wish I knew here sooner. She is amazing. Make sure you read through her handouts. She provides you with lots of articles and handouts and likes to discuss business situations. I feel much more confident about my skills now and learned a ton! Thank you!
Professor Wengelnik, is a great professor. So at first everything looks scary and a lot of work. But if you just take the time to understand the way her class is set up it is actually really easy. She is big on projects and groups so be ready for that. But all in all she is really understanding and caring.
so here is the deal. I heard a lot about this professor. Now that I am in the class myself it really is a game changer for me. Anyone who has bad stuff to say obviously does not grasp her concepts and the lessons she wants us to learn. in comparison to professor W. other professors seem small, unimportant and redunant. She lives what she teaches.
The set up of this class scared me when I started the semester. (Lots of group projects and a very nontraditional format!) Thankfully I quickly began to understand her format and how to succeed in the class. Participate and stay organized and you're good. She provides lots of resources for your help. I just wish I could have taken her in person!!
This course is not anything that you may be used to. The course really makes you reevaluate your learning style. Hard at first to get out of the box. Once you do, you will realize its a great challenge.
Project Heavy but fun!
TAMUSA is lucky to have her. She lived abroad and has lots of knowledge about international business. She cares and you will learn a lot. Take her if you can.
THIS WAS NOT A DIFFICULT CLASS, JUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. THERE ARE GROUP PROJECTS, COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND YOU WILL DO WELL.
Professor Wengelnik is so understanding! As long as you put in time and effort there is no way she won't help you. There are three group projects be open-minded and you'll do great.
Overall alot of team projects
The work and projects she had us do is pretty much what we will be presenting out in the real work world
The setup of this course was different than any class I have taken before so I was a little stressed at the beggining of the semester. Once I figured out the structure of the class it was easier. It was a lot of group work.
She is a great teacher her way of teaching is different she makes you review a chapter, and you have to display that you learned a chapter by creating projects for it you dont have to do every chapter its just the one at your assigned to.
Get ready to interact with the class. If it is online, just checkin every week on the Online Whiteboard, and don't skip any assignments or you will be lost
The professor is so nice and caring. She uses experiential learning method and you have to interact with the class. She also uses soft skills and provides you with job leads. We had a network fair and celebrated the semester. NEVER HAD A PROFESSOR WHO WAS THAT CARING AND INVESTED IN THEIR STUDENTS! Highly recommend her to you
This class is different than others I have taken. There is 3 big group projects that involve independent work and communication with your classmates. The lectures are all her youtube videos. If you need anything she is an email away from great help.
Really nice professor. Check the weekly white boards and work with your assigned team for a smooth sailing semester .
The professor has a very unique teaching style. Just follow the weekly whiteboards , syllabus and collaborate with your team members.
She really cares about her students. She is constantly providing extra credit and opportunities and takes her times to post about job openings and really connects with her students. Wish all of my professors had been like her.
Be ready to work in group projects other than that, I loved her class!
Participation is a must. She wants you to learn from one another and give feedback to each other.
She has a different teaching style than other professors. All readings and videos are material she provided and not from the textbook. It was never used except for group project which was only one chapter. It is not as difficult as it seems. Post a response weekly, follow the syllabus, and work with your team members, you should do ok.
Take advantage of time given at start of semester to study the class format. Once you know what is expected of you,the class is straightforward. Treat group work like it's an actual workplace collaboration. If you do,you will gain a real world-type experience and develop useful skills for other classes and beyond. Group communication is key.
Really an easy class, just do not get behind on work. There will be projects and a lot of writing. Overall, a great and easy class to take. She really works with you and gives you so many opportunities to get a good grade.
Prof Wengelnik has a very different teaching method compared to your typical professors. However, you should learn and understand it the best you can at the beginning and just keep up with all your assignments and keep in contact with your groups.
Awesome professor! She takes care of her students and really cares. I highly recommend her. She is the best!!!
Professor Wenglenik is a great teacher! She definitely cares about her students. The work seemed overwhelming at first but once you get use to it, its easy. 3 group projects and weekly interactive activities.
A really unique experience; there will be a lot of group work so get comfortable with the idea of working in teams. It is very important to communicate with your team in order to pass this class. Time management will be very important
Great professor. Learned a lot!
I took this class during Fall 2021 virtually. There are group projects which are very productive and make up most of the semester.
uses google classroom which is different to navigate
She really is an inspirational teacher and leads you to think outside the box. This class however is project intense and you will have a lot of group work. Overall the professor is nice and friendly.
Class was not what I thought it would be. Personally, there is a lot to read each week that has nothing to do with the subject of the class. Some of the articles that I read were of things that I already know in more depth due to the other two classes I am taking simultaneously with this class. I will not take her again.
This prof is phenomenal! Anyone who cannot see her value is crazy. She cares, she grades fairly and she provides you with tons of resources. A real asset to TAMUSA
Great class
If you like to learn by reading and then doing, you'll really enjoy this class. Take time to understand how the class works and you'll be fine.
a true asset to TAMUSA
This professor is a gem. Truly cares about each one of her students and makes sure they are successful inside and outside of school.
Ms W. is a great teacher and has her grading criteria set out exactly how she wants it. She has example on the projects and she really makes you get involved. She really pushes you to participate in order to get a good grade and really wants you to network with other class peers. Her class course it set up different than usual but easy to learn.
I have taken this professor for 2 classes already and found her to be very responsive with her feedback. The first 2-3 weeks of her class may look paperwork intense but I can assure you that once you have completed the first month, you will get the rhythm. She loves feedback and always welcome to help. Great professor.
Professor Wengelink is a very understanding and easy going professor. The coursework looks intense and like it will be to much but once you start to complete the assignments it is an easy course! I would definitely take her again!
In the beginning, the course layout was a bit confusing, but after a while of adjusting, I found it to be very clear. and convenient. The professor is great, responds to messages quickly, and is overall helpful in any situation. This class is very group-oriented, prepare to work alongside other classmates.
The first 2 weeks is given with a grace period because the curriculum is a bit different to understand but after the 3rd- 4th week it gets a lot better. I've taken her for a year now making this my third class with her. The professor gives prompt feedback and very positive responses. There is a lot of group activities and self-learning.
Uses Google Classroom, very confusing class, have to calculate your own grades.
The set up was different than any class I've taken before. Easy assingments, just keep up with the weekly work, not much. Very group work heavy.
Online classes can be overwhelming at first and there is a lot of material but once you get the hang of her class it is not as hard as you think.
This was my first time using google classroom. Professor Wengelnik made it easy for navigate through her classes.
I enjoyed working with other classmates because it would have been a lot work to complete on my own. The assignment that are assigned will definitely prepare you for management.
This professor does things a little unconventional. There are a few group projects, but she does give thorough directions on what she expects. All in all it was a great class.
The format of the class is different than any others, very hard to keep up with. Information needed to complete projects is all scattered in different places than just one designated folder. You must track your own grade throughout the semester. There is a lot to keep up with for this one class and is just difficult to locate things.
This class was asynchronous and so it was hard to keep up at first but after some time I got a hang of it. She grades easy!!
Take her if you can. She has a new way of teaching but it works. I am learning so much and she really prepares you for your career. I wish all professors would be as caring, knowledgable and detailed as her. She knows what she is talking about!
Professor is very lenient and is willing to help you in any way possible throughout the semester.
Overall a great class to take no matter which class taught. Very knowledgeable and helpful when needed guidance to complete projects. Inspirational and willing to guide a student in class or with life goals.
Overall a great class to take no matter which class taught. Very helpful when needed guidance to complete projects. Is always willing to help guide a student in class or with career goals.
Professor Cate Wengelnik is awesome. Her syllabus might seem difficult to understand at first but once you understand what's going on it will be super easy ! Will definitely take her again.
This is the most ENGAGED Professor you will ever have. Don't think twice, enroll in her courses should you have the chance to.
Professor Wengelnik is an amazing person. She really cares about you and want you to succeed in her class. While at first it did take me some time getting use to her teaching methods. Eventually I understood and learned so many things that will help me in my career.
Professor Wengelink is awesome! She really cares about her students. She provides all her students with the tools and resources to be successful. You will learn and develop yourself in her class.
great at communication, really easy to get hold of. Her teaching style is new by creating an interactive class.
Professor Wengelnik will make you think outside of the box; heavy group work and she uses google docs instead of blackboard. This makes the class a bit challenging, but overall a good course.
This class is mainly about group projects. It can be a little confusing at first but once you get a hang of it its a piece of cake. I recommend taking this professor to improve your communication and group skills.
Professor Wengelnik class may seem very intimidating at first reviewing all the course work, especially when she uses google platform instead of Blackboard. However she gives you time to adjust and learn how she does her lessons and class structure. She is a great professor and I did learn a lot of skills that I can use in my professional career!!!
its was a fun class
Professor Wengelnik is an amazing professor and really takes the time to help her students and wants to see them succeed and do well. Extra credit and group projects are fun and you really get to know your classmates by working in the group projects. This is my second class taking this professor and I totally recommend her.
Good class! Interaction activities are through the whole semester. about 3 or 4 group projects
Professor Wengelnik was an awesome professor always giving encouragement for all assignments. This was a quick online class, a whole semester in about 4-5 weeks and I thought about dropping it when I saw how much work was assigned but I'm glad I didn't and trusted the professor and my classmates. I only wish I would have taken her class on campus.
I feel that the final project seemed to be way too much for a consenced summer class. Group work is also a large part of the class but it was very unregulated. People often leaved and joined groups whenever they felt like it and this often made getting an organized group a huge headache. Not a terrible class, but I wish it was more organized.
Lots of group projects; the classwork can be confusing or hard to navigate but she usually has an intro to get familiar with her class settings.
The class requires A LOT of collaboration and teamwork. Be prepared to do a lot of time-consuming team projects that are a good portion of your grade. I would only recommend this class in the summer if you do not have too many commitments. However, the professor is excellent, very understanding, and cares for her students. Networking Opportunity!!!
Good professor, good communication, group projects can be overwhelming
The professor is amazing! Hands down the best professor on campus! She asked for a lot of committment but the class is worth it. I would highly recommend
She does provide clear written instruction on all of her requirements for homework and projects; however, she releases a ton of information. You are required to listen and read every single thing she puts out in order to be able to participate. It's overwhelming. I would not recommen taking her, nor would I take her again.
Professor Wengelnik is amazing. This is my third class with her and each time I have taken her, I have enjoyed her classes. I enjoy the google classroom. Be prepared to do 3 projects. You have to communicate with your group members via text, zoom or teams.
I did not enjoy the layout in Blackboard that stretched out into Google Classroom, it was difficult as a summer course. But I reached out to the Professor, and she talked with me and helped me work out a way I could pass. The non-participation was my bad, but she was completely understanding and super helpful. I would take her class again.
Professor Wengelnik is a great professor, very nice and caring. She does work on google classroom and not blackboard. There were 3 group project for this semester and as long as you have good communication with your team members it is easy.
Prof Wengelnik uses google classroom for assignments. Be aware there are 3 group projects. I would recommend taking this course in a regular 16-week semester.
Professor Wengelnik cares about her students mental health, which is very refreshing. Definitely have to stay on top of projects and getting your group in order to succeed in her class, overall I had a great summer course, but if it does get stressful (it will) email her and let her know. She's very good at responding and resolving issues!
This class does require you to do 3 group projects and can be overwhelming for a summer II class. Just try and spread the coursework out as much as possible. Professor Wengelnik has set up the class as a corporation and that can be intimidating but stick it out. She is an awesome teacher!
In this class you have to do three projects through out the semester. Independent work, She great at messaging back if you have questions.
She was very accommodating when I was struggling. Her class can be a bit overwhelming at first but you just need to take some time to understand it. She is also very communicative. I will say that this class would be even better in person. The asynchronous aspect was not my favorite.
If you are engaged in the course you will do well. Material provided in this course is meaningful & Professor is available for 1:1 consultations to assist with any questions you have. She does everything she can to ensure you are successful in her course but you have to do your part also. I have also signed up for another course in Spring.
Professor was very communicative and the projects are very easy we got to choose our own groups and she was always there to help if needed. Weekly discussions are very easy and she does do feedback on most of them the class is easy as long as you do your part in the projects.
great prof
The professor is great! She gives feedback and does everything she can to help you pass because she truly cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. At first I was very confused with the structure of the class since it is in google classroom instead of Blackboard however, by asking for help it will make it easier to understand.
Very good professor, in all the aspects. Gives alot of feedback which is a good thing. She is willing to have 1-1 conversations if something is wrong or you have any questions.
This is my 4th time taking Professor Wengelnik and she is amazing. Willing to help each of her students succeed.
I loved this class and the professor is willing to help you and she gives plenty of feedback to guide you through her class. Overall she created a class that includes working in groups and to step outside your comfort zone. I would take this class again and I enjoyed having this professor.
professional educator
Thank you for everything! You are the best professor I have ever had!!!
The style of how she provides the content can be overwhelming at first. She is very good at receiving feedback on how, what she teaches. Group Project, working the milestones weekly. Online-Self Assess. for Mid-Term and Final. It's a simple class overall, just need to be engaged and participate and learn something from it.
Professor Wengelnik utilizes google classroom, which was foreign to me, but she did give us a couple of weeks to get familiar. That being said, it still can be challenging at understanding deadlines & due dates. Be ready to collab and communicate w/ other group members as you have a semester group project that counts for 45% of your final grade.
Professor uses a different teaching platform than most which makes it a little difficult to navigate. There are also only a few assignments that are worth a large portion of your grade so there is little to no room for error.
The course at first is a little confusing, after you figure out how to navigate google classroom and understand her teaching style it gets easier. I would email her as soon as you can't figure out something, she responds quickly and will give you specifics of how to start.
Mrs Wengelnik is very accesible.
This class was challenging to understand when it came to deadlines, due dates, and your overall grade. Be ready to have a semester group project which counts for 45% of your final grade.
Easy A if you participate and get assignments done, only downside was the classroom set up was a little confusing and new to me.
Professor Wengelnik is a great professor, I have personally taken her twice and she did not disappoint. She truly cares about her students success and is always available if you need help. I would recommend to take her, you will not be disappointed.
She is a great professor and provides you with feedback on how you're doing and provides suggestions if there's improvement needed.
Once you understand where to find everything in google classroom the class goes a little smoother.
Prof. Wengelnik really pushes you to think and go outside the box. Good class! Don't be afraid to communicate.
Awesome professor. Best I have had so far!
Great Prof! Format of the class might not be what ur used to on BB but once u understand how to access the materials its not hard to navigate weekly. Multiple group projects. Not an "easy" A class but an A is possible if u participate. Content/lessons from this prof. will impact u & provide great skills/info that will be beneficial long term.
Class is focused on following directions - easy A if you do that - content you provide matters very little. The format is unnecessarily complex, utilizing Google instead of BlackBoard. Goal appears to be driving engagement and posts to professor's social media accounts, which felt more like a marketing experiment than a Global Management course.
I really enjoyed this class once I understood how to manage the Google classroom. It was different and engaging.
very understanding
The platform is different than anything I ever used and it does take some time to get used to. Communication and participation is crucial. Be ready for group assignments and follow up with your group right away to establish a plan.
It was a flex class so of course it's fast paced. Lots of reading and participation. The platform that is used is different and difficult to get used to at first.
Great professor! If you want to get a better understanding of the class it is basically very simple a whiteboard space is created and a discussion must be posted for every week regarding weekly milestone. Semester group projects is a proposal, handout, Powerpoint, and multimedia/ digital story.
Great professor! The class is simple all you will need to do is do weekly discussions on whiteboard space based on milestone of the week. Group project consist of proposal, handout, Powerpoint, and multimedia/ digital story.
great class and professor was understanding
Professor Wengelnik has an open door policy. Class is fast and very upbeat, students need to stay engaged and collaborate with other classmates for better grades.
If you participate and follow her guidelines for the projects, you're going to get a good grade. I will say that this class was in a non-traditional format and relied on students presenting the material. This means if the students didn't do a good job of presenting, you basically miss out on a whole chapter's worth of content.
She is very helpful and nurturing. She will guide you but no give you all of the keys. I believe this class was very interesting in part of the learning was the understand of different canvases of business communication and processes
Super sweet professor! Uses Google Classrooms so it was a little hard for me to follow. About 4 group projects throughout the semester.
Her class can be a bit overwhelming at first but after the first two weeks, her class is easy! She loves helping out students who are struggling and she is willing to help. She will help and do her best to help her students pass as long as you communicate with her. Loved this class for the two semsters I've had her.
This class is set up so that she does not have to actually teach. We pretty much teach each other. While that might be fine for a graduate class, I find it wrong to do it with undergrads. She does not post lectures, slides, nothing. The projects are EXTENSIVE. The final is 20+ pages single spaced, a PPT w/ voiceover, & annotated b. DONT DO IT.
Professor Cate has been an amazing professor who truly cares about students success.!
Professor Wengelnik was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions that students had. There are group projects, but these allow you to learn more from working with groups. This class helps develop attention to details as well as collaborative skills, it is just very important to read directions.
The course is not difficult but very time consuming. Group projects are a big part of the course. There is information in to many different tabs it gets overwhelming trying to keep a tight schedule. Syllabus has a due date but the projects are due before the due date.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking any courses provided by Professor Wengelnik. The material is engaging & the course is well structured to ensure success. She provides great feedback and is available to assist w/any barriers you are navigating. Amazing Professor who gives her all to her students.
I enjoy this professor, I have had her three times and would take her again. The class involves working with teams and doing projects. So be ready to be working with people when taking her class. Overall her class is an easy A as long as you do her work.
Best professor I have had. I wish more professor were like her. SHe is amazing
Professor Wengelnik is a great professor! Class may seem difficult in the beginning, but as time goes on it does get easier! Definetly recommend.
This course may seem overwhelming due to the way everything is located. However, it gets simple and easy. You have to participate and constantly communicate in group projects. Tests are quiet easy!
Professor Wengelnik is awesome. She is there if you need help or have concerns. She does offer extra credit opportunities, take advantage of those !!
3 group projects. Caring professor. Lots of extra credit.
Professor Wengelnik is very supportive and she does everything in her power to help you. She is by far the best professor I have had
My Global Management course was 100% online, and although this was my first online class, I felt comfortable using the format and understanding the structure this class follows. Once you realize that this class is about time management and participation, you'll notice how easy it is to get a good grade.
She is a really dedicated teacher. She cares about her students personally. In addition, she truly wants to see her pupils succeed.
Finally a professional and professor who is online and tech savvy. She knows her stuff and is mindful of our busy schedules. Couldn't recommend her more to you. You won't regret taking her.
Great Professor really really cares. The class is highly online savvy. Uses Google Classrooms instead of Blackboard for most information.
Great professor! Do your homework and will do fine with her classes.
Professor Wengelnik is the best professor you will ever have for a management class! She is very caring and understanding and provides tons of information on coursework. Group projects are major grades, but nothing too bad. Definitely take her if you can. :-)
Taking this class during a summer semester I thought it was going to be difficult, however professor Wngelnik was absolutely amazing. She gave great details with what she was expecting and even if you had questions she was always eager to answer. I highly recommend taking her classes!
Professor Wengelnik is an amazing teacher. The entire class work is split between Blackboard and Google Classroom, and she is very clear with instructions. I highly recommend her for MGMT 4331 and any other classes she teaches.
As long as you do the course work and group projects you will do just fine in her class. Learn so many new things.
Professor Wengelnik is great professor. Her class is taught between blackboard and google classroom, she provides a lot of great resources on leadership. Must come to class for participation points and presents group project. Also will help you with resume feedback.
Professor Wengelnik is amazing! She truly cares about your success and is so inspirational. Best professor I have had
It can be confusing the first couple of weeks but her class is easy as long as you participate on the milestones and understand the group project.
My favorite online teacher. Must have if you take any classes online.
Professor Wengelnik has a different kind of teaching style that at first is scary but once you get used to is it is so easy. She is easy to talk to and emails you back in detail, her class is fun.
After taking Professor Cate Wengelnik for two different courses and have learned aspects that I can utilize every day. Class is super easygoing as long as you keep up with the work. She is very understanding and will help with anything.
SHe is the best professor you will ever have!!!
Enjoyed the glass and how the assignments were laid out with a clear syllabus. Was always available to answer questions or issues students may have had during class or outside of class. Made everyone comfortable with meeting the goals and completing the course. I already registered for another course with this professor.
Professor Wengelnik is someone who cares about her students and wants to see them thrive not only your educational journey but also in your career. Only one group project but you are given more than enough time to get with your group to finish the project. Homework assignments are easy and very educational. Very understanding and caring professor.
The professor provided great insight and lots of resources for my grad class. She is caring and inspirational. Other professors at our school should take her lead when it comes to how the class is run.
Great class and professor
This was my first MBA class. I loved her. She is very approachable and caring. You won't regret taking her!
Professor Wengelnik very courteous, understanding and is just a great professor overall. You wont regret taking her class.
Dr. WengeInik was a great teacher, she respected our time by NOT giving an absurd amount of work. I am excited to take her again next semester! You can tell she is a caring professor and enjoys what she does!
Ms. Wengelnik stands out as the most exceptional professor I've encountered at A&M. Throughout the entire semester, she remained highly engaged and accessible. Ms.Wengelnik actively promotes inclusivity and diversity in her teaching, creating a welcoming environment for all.
I have gained a lot of confidence taking this course. I have learned to be a better active listener within my groups. This class along with Professor, Wengelnik guidance will help me become a better leader for my future career. I highly enjoyed and recommend taking this course with professor Wengelnik.
Easy to work with students, uses google classroom so maybe a little adjustment versus normal class. Really need to stay on top of good classroom as announcements on blackboard were a little scarce. Will help you get a good grade if you place effort.
I want future students to not be shocked at the way this course is organized. Overall, I learned how to become and act as a leader in this course, and this is something that I will always think about in the future and definitely the best online course I have taken.
At first i was a little lost starting the semester on where to submit my work i eventually got it after talking to a few classmates. Very caring professor would most definitely take any course she has. She cares about her students mental well-being. TAKE HER CLASS!!
Professor seemed nice but there's no clear direction of weekly work, no assignment date submissions. Lecture videos are weekly and tend to be about 2hrs. Did the course work, A at the beg of Dec and somehow a F suddenly. So much time and effort was put into her class all semester, all grade checks through the months were fine and suddenly failed.
This professor is awesome.SHe is very caring and understanding. I love her class.
Dr. Wengelik is great and very knowledgable about business. She also does resume review and helps you with your career.
Great professor for my grad class. Very inspiring
This was a very inspiring and uplifting class. Professor Wengelnik is amazing. I highly recommend her to you!
Loved this class and the professor. She is amazing and uses lots of examples from the real world that we can learn from. Lots of discussions and interaction as well.
Great professor. Love how engaged she is and she uses real world examples. Very helpful for my career
Dr. Wengelnik is a wealth of knowledge and provides a realistic online approach to her teaching. I chose to take her for a second time this semester because I truly enjoyed the course outline. Be patient in the beginning because there is a small learning curve. Once you get use to it, you will see all the benefits.
Professor Wengelnik is amazing! She is willing to work with you if you have any questions or concerns about the course. When starting the class, it can be intimidating at first but it gets easy once you get the hang of it. Overall, Professor Wengelnik is a supportive teacher and you will truly learn in this class!
The professor communicated clearly and was easy to understand.
Google classroom is very important to the participation to this class but overall great class.
I LOVE her. She is very passionate about teaching and offers you a lot of resources. I also went to her to help with my career and she got me an interview. I would take her if I had the chance.
Professor W. is an amazing teaching but also a kind and humble human being. She loves what she does and it shows. I wish our university would have more teachers like her.
At first, I was a little lost starting the semester on where to submit my work, but I eventually got it after talking to a few classmates. Very caring professor and would most definitely take any course she has because the class is not a lot of work. She cares about her student's mental well-being. Take her class if you want to take it easy.
I hope every student reads this and signs up for professor Wengelnik's BCOM 3304 class. I would take any of her classes in the future. She is fair and caring. She wants and believes in her students and their ability to thrive in her class and in business. Thank you for a great experience.
This professor is caring and want her students to succeed. Most of the lecture and basic information is found in google classroom so it was something new to me. Assignments are pretty self explanatory and easy to do.
She was a very understanding professor who really cares about her students.
Great teacher and super easy to reach out to you. Any questions, just ask.
This professor was nice. The instructions were pretty clear and if you had any questions you could always email them. Assignments were pretty easy nothing too hard. Final project had different options to choose from instead of having one option.
Professor was attentive to questions. Her class was a bit confusing, it helps to have friends or make friends. Would reccomend to take the summer class since it is reduced and a bit easier.
Professor Wengelnik is a great communicator. Responds quick to questions. Class may seem difficult at first but just take time to adjust.
Great class lots of information to read but very beneficial.
This professor actually cares about her students well-being!!!!!! She is very clear on what is needed from the students and provides lectures just in case you need further detail on what is being asked. Would definitely recommend!!!!!!!!
Professor Wengelnik is very knowledgeable and motivating. Active participation is essential, but its enjoyable and manageable. While the assignments involve a good amount of reading they are incredibly valuable for learning and can be applied to both your professional and personal life. Your commitment and effort will determine your success.
Professor Cate is very knowledgeable you will learn many thing through reading in class for business and personal use. Class work is easily manageable and easy to due just take the time to do it. Class team project make sure to communicate with your team and the project will be easy.
I took Professor Wengelnik for a summer semester Global Management class and her experience with living, teaching, and working all around the world is incredibly relevant and makes her the perfect instructor for this course. Her lectures are engaging as she helps you understand exactly how the material can be applied in the real world.
I was taking Global Management this summer with Professor Wengelnik and she is an amazing understanding professor. Her class is easy you have 3 projects, and one of them is a group project you will be fine just read the rubrics. I will recommend her 100% and I will take her again.
Dr. Wengelnik uses a different platform in Google classroom. It is a good experience to work outside of the normal blackboard. She makes the class welcoming and it is very interactive. 3 total projects for Summer and 1 is a group project. Recommend her class!
She is amazing , she cares and listens
A lot of the homework is reading and writing a small paragraph reflecting on it. She mainly uses google classroom. She's a great professor who understands that students aren't only doing school. Not a lot of homework for a summer class.
The professor understands that we have a life outside of school and has gentle due dates on certain assignments. She provides feedback and all resources needed for the group projects. Do not hesitate to reach out to her for assistance.
This professor really cares about you. She listens and she responds right away. I had a tough semester but she made it so easy forme to follow instructions and get the work completed. being interactive is mandatory
Amazing professor! She has a passion for teaching and it shows.
This class was amazing and engaging. I would recommend taking this class and Professor Wengelnik again because she genuinely cares about your success. I recommend reading the materials provided to you carefully, which helped me succeed in class.
This is my favorite professor in the whole college. She goes out of her way to help her student achieve their dreams, If every professor were like her you would have a 100% passing rating at the college. She is truly one of a kind, caring, helpful, and willing to help in any way. I will stay in touch with her after graduation.
Professor Wengelnik is exceptional in her role as an educator. Her communication skills are top-notch; she always ensures that every student understands the course material and is readily available to answer questions and provide feedback. Each task is designed to engage students and deepen our understanding of the subject matter.
At the beginning of the semester I was overwhelmed by the structure if the class, I had never taken a course like hers but her videos made it easy to navigate. Professor Wengelnik is not a strict professor and truly just wants to see her students participate and learn. There was one group project that was not too difficult.
The professor is very approachable and understanding. Don't be intimidated to reach out to her when you have a problem.
You'll love her! Make sure to make an appointment with her, she is awesome!
It's my first time taking her class
Class is very inspiring. The content and all materials accessible are very disorganized. Quizzed over all materials, but because i was at a public computer (library), I could not access all materials through my private account (BB works for this but not Google Classroom). Tech required: blackboard, Pearson app, google classroom, docs, excel, PPT+
Great lectures but disorganized documents/file locations. Apps needed to do any quiz: google classroom, blackboard, excel, google docs, pearson (for the book), google slides, zoom and more. Its a nightmare for anyone trying to do the class at a public computer (the library) because Google is a bit restricted (had to use phone for Google apps).
When I first attended her class, it was extremely confusing. I am technically still taking her class and still have a hard time understanding how Google classroom works. However, she presents A LOT of wisdom and knowledge in her teaching and is readily available to help. She knows her stuff and really wants you to succeed. I would take her again.
Professor Wengelnik makes this online class engaging and manageable. The assignments focus on understanding the material, not just completing work quickly. Resources like unstuckstudy AI can complement the class well for effective study prep.
Love the class and the professor is very resourceful. She is caring, provides extra credit and you learn a lot. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about management.

Professor is very caring and wants to make sure everyone understands her teaching style.
Professor Wengelnik really cares about how you do as a student and making sure you are ready and prepared for life after graduation. She is really motivating and likes class participation.
Amazing professor!
Great Professor, Wants you to succeed!
Amazing instructor who truly cares about her students. She assigns a lot of work, but the assignments are straightforward and manageable if you stay organized. Dr. Wengelnik is a great teacher. The class I took with her was set up weird (through Google Classroom and not Blackboard), but it was a good class.
Come with an open mind as it is set up mostly on Google Classroom! Professor truly cares about her students and the entire course is essentially set up around the idea of discovering yourself as a leader, offering many opportunities to self-reflect and develop soft skills.
Professor Wengelnik was very clear and informative during this course. Her discussions were very interactive and she responded to us several times, which shows that she cares! As long as you pay attention and follow the syllabus, you can pass!
Easy course, participation matters a lot, plenty of extra credit mainly towards the end of semester. The only thing to watch out for is their are not many graded items so they hold a lot of weight. However she is a lenient grader.
Very good professor, participation matters a lot, their is a group project and plenty of extra credit towards the end of semester. Beware that especially to the beginning of the semester there are not many graded items. Therefore they do hold a lot of weight but do the project and participate and you will be fine.
She uses Google Classroom instead of Blackboard, which is provided by the school there are multiple projects and weekly "whiteboard interactive activities" that I don't seem to get a grade on, but they are mandatory. Assignments are pretty straightforward and easy. Just have to get used to a new platform.
My first time having an online class that uses Google Classroom, in the beginning, it took some getting used to. however, the professor was of great interest in her approach in her class.
The professor was very clear from the start about the class expectations. She is an excellent professor, and it's crucial to follow the milestones and complete the homework. I would definitely take her class again!
Coming into this course, I didn't know what to expect, but I'm truly grateful for the experience. Be prepared for an important group project worth 40% of your grade, but don't worry—there are plenty of resources, and the professor is incredibly supportive. Participation matters, and those points add up! I'd definitely take another class with her.
Professor Wengelnik's course was different at first since I wasn't used to google classroom but after a while you get used to it. After learning what your assignments are and actually reading this course is very manageable. Theirs many chances for extra credit and she's very understanding if you just email or talk to her about any situation.
Dr. Wengelnik is an exceptional leader and instructor. She is genuinely cares for her students and gives encouragement and inspiration as a part of her instruction. Dr. Wengelnik has a strong understanding for self-care in busy environments and as a result, she is attuned to her students and the need for balancing studies with daily lives.
Dr. Wengelnik is an amazing professor. This is my second time taking her class, and all she wants is for her students to pass while obtaining a solid understanding of the material. She genuinely cares about our success and goes out of her way to ensure that we not only meet the requirements but also truly grasp the concepts she's teaching.
Professor Wengelnik made this course one of the best. Her supportive, engaging style and group projects encouraged real learning. With flexible deadlines and fair grading, the class felt low-stress. Even online, she stayed interactive and created a truly positive experience.
Dr. Wengelnik is an amazing professor. I took her Intro to AI class and althought there are weekly assignments, they are very easy to complete. There are two semester projects, the midterm project is done with a partner(s) and the final project is individual. She used Google Classroom as a platform where all the coursework could be found.
Dr cate one of the best professor in the MBA program in TX
Professor Wengelnik was very helpful and provided great feedback on assignments. She provides outside sources that allows students to engage in their work, while also providing her own sources where students can directly engage with one another and with her. She also gives clear instructions on assignments and is not overly strict with grading.
Don't stress! Professor Cate is wonderful! The style of this class was really refreshing and reflective of the “real world”. Stay on top of your readings and deadlines, communicate with your group and share resources with the class. It will work out!
Profesor Wengelnik was very caring and you can tell she wants her students to succeed.
Overwhelming at first but professor is very helpful and encouraging.
Great professor and easy-to-follow class outline. I thoroughly enjoyed the class.
This class was a bit difficult for me to follow since some things were done through BlackBoard and the rest was through Google Classroom. I sometimes felt confused about what I needed to be doing. Professor Wengelnik was always available to help, though, and was very caring. Professor Wengelnik has a strong passion for the success of her students.
I thought this class was very informative. In the beginning it was a bit difficult to keep up with what is due and trying to complete, but once you figured it out, it was easy.
