This class is not too bad until you get to the final. Her final will make you want to pull your hair out! However, she does give a lot of extra credit and homework points. Be prepared to study.
Shes nice, but her class is very very difficult.
Easy the first half of class, but she really gets unhelpful down the stretch.
Lots of extra credit, can copy from your friends* just do your work, and interact with her and you'll get a B or C. Dont waste time studying for the final, its immpossible.Very possible to get A on 3 test .had 68% and low on final, still got C.
Very tough and challenging class, studied my butt off and managed C and B's on exams. Extra credit given every week and if you do all of the extra credit correctly it can actually pull your grade up by 8 - 10%.
she is a very good professor. the class is hard but you get extra credit. the tests arent bad if youre prepared.
Great teacher. This class is NOT that hard, especially in today's world where we constantly use Excel. As long as you pay attention in class and don't fall behind, you can pull off an A or B for sure. Book is step-by-step, and very helpful.
Great professor! Uses real life examples for lectures. A kind and understanding person -- spend lots of time creating marketing plans for each student's future plans. Helpful; inform students about job openings, opportunities.
not very helpful. gets annoyed if you don't get it in the first couple of minutes. and blames you for not practicing 60 times, instaed of her teaching. does give a lot of extra credit. but overall not very nice!!
Overall very nice lady, however is diffucult to understand at times. The class increases in diffculty as it goes on with the final being very diffcult. Do your homework assignments regularly and try to score the extra credit points and you should do ok.
First two exams were easy. The third-definately need to study..final was rediculous. She is a very nice proffessor
She is very nice professor. The exams will be harder and harder. But don't worry, if you practice at least couple times before taking the tests, and you really understand the lecture, you will get a good grade for the class. By the way, she also offer extra credits and curve the average of the class. Good luck!
She is really nice and willing to help you.
Professor Atwong is a very sweet lady. She is also extremely understanding, and willing to work with students who ask for help. The course however is not easy, you have to practice the homework and material on a regular basis in order to do well on the exam. Its currently the ninth week of the semester and I rec. a C on the first exam and a B on the second exam. I would recommend Professor Atwong to any marketing Major. I'm on pace for a B in the class.
DO ALL THE ASSIGNED HOMEWORK AND ITEMS ON THE EXAM SHEET MANY MANY MANY TIMES AND YOU WILL GET AN A IN THE COURSE.
Do all the homework in the class and it will help you for the test. The final is impossible. The average for this semester on the final was a 46 out of 100. The questions on the final are not very well written. She has you very in depth questions and espects you to finish the whole test in two hours when the test would probably take her 3 hours
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! i came to class everyday, took and studied the notes, read the book and completed all the assignments and got a D in the end because of the damn final. its impossible to pass and counts a lot towards your overall grade.
She's really nice and helpful. However, class is rather boring and there's lots of work. She's a difficult grader too. The other reviews are right, the final is impossible. I got a C in the class and i was on the Dean's List. Find an easier professor to take.
The most helpful professor I've encountered in all my years at CSUF. The class is boring and unevenly paced...it's like driving in a car and the driver stepping on the gas, then the brake, then the gas, etc. The tests were harder than the final...these reviews scared me so I guess I tried harder...Lots of extra credit and generous curve!
Impossible final + confusing lectures + irrelevant discussions related to current topics = AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!
Ok first off, take this class because the other choice is worse. That being said, do this and you MAY pass. Complete all homework and EXTRA CREDIT, make sure she knows you, go to class and office hours, and also make sure you are involved in class. The textbook is cheap so you score there, but before the final, just pray a hail mary.
DO NOT take this professor, u'll just end up repeating the class. shes not afriad to fail students and more than half the class fails, the other half recieves horrible grades. lots of homework, papers and the tests are impossible. shes also has a bad attitude, and just plain scary.

Very nice, helpful lady. Somewhat difficult tests however, where there are seemingly two possible answers for many questions. Reading the book is the best way to study for her tests because they are pretty broad. Also she grades kinda tough on written papers as well.
Lectures irrelevant. Read/study from the book to pass tests. Helpful b/c she moves test dates to avoid busy test weeks. tests are impossibly long, w/ paragraphs of unrelating details per q. Grades hard on pprs. Unwilling to talk about questionable exam problems after test. Even if it's her fault, don't expect her to be reasonable or understanding.
I agree completely with the person below. Grades way too tough on papers. You can talk her into lowering amount of problems on tests if you can get whole class in on it.
Prof. Atwong is a very UNDERSTANDING & amazing professor. It's a tough class, but she will go out of her way to HELP students. Study hard, practice, practice & practice and don't put it 'till the last minute. Her class is one of the most helpful and influential course in marketing. She gives lots of extra credit & very lenient with tests. Great Pro
Great Prof! Really Helpful and nice. Offers tons of Xtra Credit. Do all of it and you may pass? The 3 exams are really tough. The final is just WRONG! There is no need for it to be that hard. I studied hours for it & still failed. Had A- going inot it otherwise id be taking it again. Good luck and work you A$# off and you may pass.
Lots of homework which are Excel spreadsheets, 2 group assignments, and an essay take-home final. Not bad since she allows you to work with classmates if needed. Should definitly take her for 489.
Atwong was pretty cool. Her accent makes me laugh. How well you do in the class will depend on how much work you put into the homework. She gives a TON of extra credit so do it! I got Cs on all my exams but I passed the class with a B b/c I did all the homework and extra credit. She wants her students to succeed.
GO TO CLASS!!! Its so easy to understand the material if you go to class. Exams are short but closed book/closed note. Grades VERY hard on exams you have to prove all answers w/ excel! LOTS of hw and TONS of EC to help your grade. LOVE LOVE LOVE this teacher, taking her again next semester.
GREAT TEACHER! I highly recommend her. She requires a little bit of homework and offers a LOT of extra credit (can boost up an entire grade!) I got a C but if I tried harder I'm sure I could've gotten an A. She's a very sweet lady and the class was a great learning experience. She is one of the best professors I've had at CSUF. Book < $30!
THE MOST COMPASSIONATE TEACHER ON CAMPUS! Atwong really cares about her students and is ALWAYS there when you need her help. She offers tons of extra credit like others have said. Also, test are a TRICKY, not so difficult. Study, do the homework,go to class & reward yourself an A. I half-assed it and therefore I got a C.
Lectures can get pretty boring plus she has a heavy accent. If you want a good grade go to class and do ALL the extra credit she offers. First test, is not hard but tricky - pay attention to detail on this one. Overall the class was ok and I ended up learning a couple things I may use later on in life.
MEAN. RUDE. makes fun of her students during class if they dont understand something and she is very impatient when explaining things. heavy accent makes it harder to understand. lots of hmwk and you must attend class everyday. take someone else!!
Great professor highly recommend for capstone. At first i was kind of speculative about the work load and grading, but it is a capstone could you expect anything less. Overall the class taught me a lot and it was enjoyable. She has a very funny humor which made me laugh a lot.
harrow! 'nuff said..
Do your homework and go to class and you will be fine! Atwong is nice and grades fairly easy, but it's next to impossible to learn by just sitting in class listening to the lecture.
SO EASY. If u cant pass her class then u should probably not be in college! She gives TONS of extra credit so there is really no way u can fail unless u just never go to class or do any work! Atwong is WAY BETTER than other 353 teacher from what I was told by my friend who took the other guy!
Had 96% going into the final (judgement day). Finished with a C+. Do not let the ease of the first exams fool you into thinking the class is a breeze, the final is no joke! Does not use a textbook, which is cool, she uses course packet PDF files. Be careful! Exams are truly testing your attention to detail.
A great professor to learn from, but tough grader, hard exams. When she says practice 20 times for final, she really mean it. I had a 95 going to final, she gave me a B- at the end. Do all the extra credit that you can, it will help save you at the end. Very time consuming class.
The xtra credit consists of going to guest lectures, do them, they're easy and give +5% of test grades. First two tests were easy, i just took the final and had my but whooped and its 35% of grade. Some classes are boring, but if you don't take notes, you'll be pissed you didn't take notes a week b4 the test. Make sure u have a good 'study buddy'
If you are a REAL marketing major, take Atwong. She is the best professor! She shows you tools that you will need and has all of the information on digital files so you can store them for future work in your career. It was hard to pass her class but it was worth the information I learned. Google analytics to MRI plus. NO LAZINESS ALLOWED!
You will learn a lot in this class and have the chance to make some good portfolio material. Make sure to find a good group it will save you and do the extra credit. Study for the exams but they are tricky. Give me a lot of real world knowledge to land me an internship! Overall she is a good professor because she teaches what you need to know.
Professor Atwong is THE professor to take for MKTG 353. She knows the subject and knows hot to teach it so students at all levels understand the material. She will work with you until you get it. She is accessible and competent. This is material you need to know to succeed as marketing manager. Take Atwong and you will learn what you need to know.
This class is intense. You have social media assignments (10 of them) which are easy points if you do them. 1st test was a bit challenging. 2nd test was easier. Studied HOURS for the final and it was still HARD. Group project is ALOT of work. Make sure to pick a good group. Take every chance to do extra credit!
Social Media Assignments: Twitter, Facebook Ad, YouTube Video, Google+ Hangout, get 3 recommendation on Linkedin, create profile page on www.About.me, create OR (quick response) Codes, Linkedin Ad. Google Adwords Group Assigments: Ppt presentation, pre-campaign report(4 pages), post campaign report (8 pgs), Youtube video report. Test: total 3
Professor truly teaches you a lot, however.. the class is very time consuming. There are 8 individual social media assignments..a social media team project (the project itself, a paper, and powerpoint movie).. 2 Exams and 1 Final.. THE FINAL IS RIDICULOUS. I studied and did not do well! You can go into the exam with an A and leave with a C!
Atwong is the best teachers that I've encountered at CSUF. If you want to learn something & show off during an interview, take her! The course load is intense & is time consuming, but what you get out of it is incredible. Her English is rough, but her written instructions are outstanding. I am a C student. I worked hard and ended up with an A-.
Its a journey. (you'll get it after you take her)
She is a very nice professor and truly wants her students to pass. She does offer extra credit after the first exam. Just practice the in class assignments (A LOT!!) and you will do well on the exams.
She is super nice and her assignments are really fun. Group project is really time consuming but that difficult. We got to use a lot of different tools that real world business people use. Ask questions if you are even slightly confused. It will make a huge difference for the exams. Buy her textbook, it will really help.
Mrs. Atwong is one of the best marketing professors at CSUF. Her social media projects will teach you a lot. The final is unfair. You will go in with an A and leave the class with a C. Great class, I learned a lot, however the final killed almost everyone
A big group project, so find a good group. (my group got a 90%) 2 midterms; I got a B and an A. 1 grade-killing final. had an A- before final, failed the final after studying many, many hours, ended up with a C. She says to study the practice examples, but then changes everything on the test so you're screwed. I'm warning you now.
Atwongs class is a journey. She is unclear on the project and tests are tough. Hardest class I have had to work in. Lots of individual assignments, group work, and tests. Failed all 3 tests in the class. She tries to help by telling you to look at the syllabus. Get a good group for the project. Gives Extra credit on the first test. good luck haha
Her lectures are too fast and she is very hard to understand and she expects you to teach yourself if you can't go at her pace. She is very impatient and yells at students. Her exams are nothing like what she teaches you. You won't pass the final no matter how hard you study, so do all the extra credit and make her like you. Got a C, avoid her.
Her lectures and practices aren't really similar to the tests. Her tests are EXTREMELY difficult. Hard to understand sometimes. Take another professor if you want to pass!
I took this class online over the summer and man was it it a lot of work! There were 10 individual assignments, a group or individual project (you get to choose), 2-3 lectures Per week w exercises and 3 test. She's hard to understand, lecture are long, and test are extremely difficult. Unless you have a lot of excel experience, I would Avoid her.
Thumbs Down. I got a B on the first test an A on the Second, an A on the group Project and credit on all my homework, but still ended up with a C in the class because the final is worth 60% of your grade and its ridiculously hard. I dedicated so much time to this class. Her lectures are strange. She glosses over important info.
The class is tough, but it's so worth it. Atwong genuinely cares about her students and does everything to help you succeed. Pay attention when she goes over the excel work, and practice! All the skills learned in this class are valuable in future marketing classes and in the real world. Thank you professor Atwong.
Dr. Atwong is a super nice teacher. That being said, 353 is not an easy A. Do your best to get into a solid AdWords group. Tests and the final were hard! I do not recommend the online course if you are not good at excel. Tests were focused on performing various excel functions/formulas and analyzing the data.
For ALL marketing majors: this is the most important class in your career! Do yourself a favor and take it with a different professor! If you take this class with Atwong you're on your own! If you take her online class, she barely have any office hours, responds very late to emails or texts, and may give you misleading answers. Exams are HARD!!!
I am currently taking this class and well, its ridiculous. She is unclear on all of her directions, and expects you to learn through videos. (Note- students don't learn through watching videos). The videos cover the exams which are stupid hard and again, unclear. Her lectures are non-inspirational and a waist of time. Avoid her.
I'm taking this class right now and I agree with the person below me. I've taken lots of online classes before and would consider myself pretty self-sufficient. This class is beyond confusing. The material is hard enough, but Atwong doesn't organize ANYTHING... The exams are extremely difficult (more than they need to be). AVOID if possible.
She is such a great professor and nice person! My favorite in the marketing deparment. She wants you to succeed. If you aren't ready on exam day, she allows you to reschedule. She also offers extra credit opportunities. I found the class to be easy. Just watch the videos and practice the examples a few times and you should be okay.
Dr. Atwong is awesome! This class is definitely challenging but it'll be worth your time. She genuinely cares about her students. The midterms are easy AS LONG AS you come to class, pay attention to her lectures, and take notes. She also posts recap videos which are SUPER helpful. There is also a group project (choose good people to work with)
I don't understand what the fuss is about.. Maybe she redid how she teaches the class because it is by far one of the easiest - well drawn out online classes I've taken. She makes herself available to you 24/7. If you're struggling, it's honestly because you're not asking questions. Assignments are easy. Effortless B. If you want an A, give effort.
This was the best class of the semester. I greatly enjoyed collaborating with the individuals in this class. I really liked the professor's teaching style. She took the time to get to know each student individually, and I really appreciate her passion and commitment.
Amazing professor. Super easy if you study for the exams and extremely helpful
She's really nice, but I took her online and was so lost. She responds quick to questions and assignments are easy, however the course organization is non existent and exam prep makes no sense. Group project is fine but long for no reason. Great lady but would not take again.
She is the most RIDICULOUS professor I have ever taken. Her exams are extremely difficult and actually impossible to pass (due to the fact that she tests you on things you've never seen before). I did not enjoy sitting in any of her lectures; in fact, it caused me so much stress just to sit there and listen to her. Do what you can to avoid her.
Really enjoyed this class, learned a lot and she is always available. Her test are somewhat difficult but not if you take the time to learn the material. You earn your grade, don't know how easy some of these reviews want the class to be. She is a great teacher and even if you sit down to take the test, think you you'll fail you can reschedule.
She is an ok professor but I wouldn't recommend taking this class online. The assignments and group project are simple and easy to do. The final exam will kill your grade since it is 25% of the course grade and nothing like she prepared us for. Trust me you'll be lucky to even get a 50% on the final. I went into the final w/ an A and left w/ a C.
I took her online class and it was a very clear organized class. You have a few assignment to do that are easy, a group project which is also easy and then you have the exams. The first two are not difficult but the final is, with whoever you take it with. But she is a great professor whos willing to help you pass and succeed. Take it with her.
By far one of my favorite classes of the semester! It's a hard class, but this is college people! God forbid you have to actually do the work and study to get a good grade. This class is time consuming, but she is very accommodating and will help you any way she can. I loved loved loved this class! She really prepares you for the real world. TAKE
wow... this professor is ridiculous! Her class assignments and exam 1 and 2 were not bad but what makes or break your grade is her final. I had an A up until the final and ended her class with a C+... Even if you studied a lot for the final, the final is completely different. It's rude to make a final difficult and make it worth 25 percent!
I would never take any of her courses again in my life. The worst professor Ive ever had. She is not kind or understandable. Also did not zoom once and left the class to study on their on. No interaction even with email! Had an A all semester. Exam 2 was hard, but exam 3 shook me so much I am scared to take another test again ever. Find another.
I would NEVER take her as my professor again. Her tests were impossible and even though she added extra credit to the tests don't expect to get a high grade on them. My group and I worked so hard on the project and she gave us a C based on the work of one group member who did their part incorrectly. If you are looking for an easy A don't take this.
She is one of the best professors at the university. She' very cheerful. Gives assignments and homework that will help you in your professional life. You will never regret taking her class. Assignments: Easy. Even when you complete the course, she will send useful emails like job opportunities. Hands down the best professor for marketing.
class was easy enough but the exams were unnecessarily difficult. probably the most difficult final exam ive ever taken. had nothing to do with what we were taught
Do NOT take her! The final is ridiculously hard where you will fail! You will think its easy at first then it just goes downhill from there. Watching the videos she puts are both boring and not helpful at all. Its the most stressful class I have ever taken
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! I am warning you! You will fail the exams because the exams have nothing to do with the practice modules she gives. This is the hardest class I've ever taken I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. The assignments are easy but the exams will murder your grade. DONT DO IT!
Okay this professor is THE WORST AND DOES NOT TEACH. Class times are absolutely pointless because she just plays videos that are ALREADY POSTED ONLINE. Expects you to learn everything from just rewatching videos 20 times. Plus the material doesnt really correlate to the exam material. Ive had multiple people FAIL the final. BEWARE!
It's like she doesn't even input grades and bases ur final grade on the Final Exam. If you fail the exam (less than 35%), you fail the class. And trust me, you need ALL the help to get beyond that %. Her exams don't make sense. Assignments + group project won't help bc the Final is what makes or breaks ur grade anyway. Uses KIK bc can't use email??
Honestly, doesnt she think that if the entire class is scoring an average of 30% on the final, that she may be the problem??? The material covered on the final was NOT reflective of the course material you have to TEACH YOURSELF. Strongly do not recommend her.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, Dr Atwong, DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER STUDENTS. I had an A all semester with near-perfect scores on assignments and exams, last final is apparently worth 400pt+ and will fail you even if you have an A. Blows off students when trying to set up office hours. Don't take her, she only "teaches" to get her paycheck. Worst professor!
Worst professor at CSUF. Does nothing to help her students. Expects you to learn by watching videos of her talking. Has no explanation with videos, apparently, all you need to be a college "professor" is to know how to read off a PowerPoint. Final grade average was less than 30%, no curve, and no response to emails when asking for clarification.
This is the worst professor I have ever had in my entire college career. Think you did well on all the other assignments? You're not passing til you pass the final exam. Almost EVERYBODY in my class failed. Completely ghosted everyone and does not respond to ANY emails after she unlocks the final. Save yourself before it's too late...
This was the WORST class I ever took at CSUF. The entire class failed both her exams and all she did was curve it slightly. She's nice but I honestly think she doesn't care what happens to you and your grade. She literally says to study the material 20 TIMES to get an A (which means watching her god awful videos for 50+hours). D/N take this class!!
I've never written a review about a professor until this class. Going into the final I had an A and thought most of the semester went well as long as you put in the work. However for the final the class avg was a 30/100 and did not prepare us properly or address the difficulty of it at all. You'd think with an avg that low it's the teacher's fault.
The worst professor Ive ever had in my college career. Average for exam 3 was an F and no one passed it. Her lectures consists of the class watching pre recorded assignment tutorials, which is honestly a waste of time. Her exams are 100x more difficult than the videos she gives you to study from. Not even closely related. DO NOT TAKE HER!
I had to drop her class at the beginning of quarantine for medical reasons. When I enrolled the next semester, she remembered me and checked in to make sure I was doing OK. Super nice and cares about the students. My class was asynchronous, but she made very detailed videos outlining exactly what to expect on tests. Also no textbook! 10/10
Dr. Atwong may be a great person, but she's not a great professor. The class is manageable, however, she has a tendency to muddle and confuse things in her attempt to simplify the course. She'll spend the entirety of the 3 hour class going over the instructions for your assignments, which are available online, albeit disorganized.
She talks to us like 8th graders. She means well but she lives in a business world thats outdated. Her lectures are literally a waste of time. We dont learn anything besides what is coming up which is on canvas! She wastes 3 hrs to watch videos we can watch on our own. Gl on the exam bc she claims to prepare us but no one passes. Worst professor
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Every single person in my class failed the final exam. She doesnt reply to emails.
The assignments were time consuming and not doing the assignments can REALLY hurt your grade. There were 2 regular exams and the final but exam 2 was tough with timing. The recorded lectures itself were all posted online and there were A LOT. She wasn't good at explaining and items were outdated too. Everyone failed the final badly, watch out
Avoid at all costs! Exams are nothing like the material she gives you to study. Everyone in my class failed 2/3 exams horribly. She will not answer any questions and will leave you feeling like you are going to fail the class the entire semester. She wont tell you your current grade even if you ask. Find a different professor before its too late.
She's the worst instructor I've ever had at CSUF. Very confusing and many of the assignments make absolutely no sense and provide no actual learning for the real world. I wish I took a different teacher for this course
So her summer course is different than a semester course. There was a lot to do for this class and most of it was meaningless. I had an A all the way till the final exam. The final exam was 10 questions written in after making like 4 different excel documents. Class average for the final was about 12/100. Then she grades the semester project harsh
lectures were a waste of time. the only reason why i am giving her a 2 is bc of the real world application. ie building a professional linkedin profile. 2/3 exams were nothing like what she had us review for weeks and lots of accting. she expected us to be experts in accting too when many havent been in that class in over 2 years
Very boring lectures and hard to understand. She is old and feels like she has difficulty understanding what she teaches and sometimes angry for no reason. Avoid
DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS PLEASE She is a very understanding professor and only wants students to succeed. You have to study and practice ALOT, even if it is the day before, without practice, you will fail. Be prompt with your assignments and you will pass. She will even move tests to different dates if you are not ready or anything else.
She gives ALOT of extra credit, people went from a 65% exam grade to a 75% and after every test she will tell you what your grade in the class is.
I honestly think this course could be much better but her delivery is all over the place and confusing. It's hard to catch up with her and you need to always ask other students about what's going on. she gives a ton of extra credit to make you pass though.
Super sweet and kind professor you can tell genuinely cares about her students. My one gripe with this course is that the tests do not align with the course material, nearly everyone failed her tests, but she gives out a ton of extra credit opportunities to help cushion your grade. Do all your assignments and put in the work and you'll pass.
Professor atwong tries to make a big deal about her class and how all the stuff are useful in real world but I honestly didn't learn a lot from her. Her lectures are boring and difficult to follow. Exams are challenging
Avoid at all cost, waste of time because you learn nothing much. Pace of class is slow and it is all over the place.
Love this Professor! I can genuinely say this class is super fulfilling and worth taking with her. She requires LinkedIn Learning trainings that are useful for Marketing majors and gives great feedback! Super chill and willing to answer questions. Grades are based on trainings, 1 group project, and 3 exams. Also, attendance is required.
Absolutely horrendous. I've heard students saying MKTG 353 was easy with other professors. DO NOT TAKE HER! I had an A up until the Final. I studied day and night, yet flunked her final exam. Her study guide? Useless. Average Final Exam is 30/100. I spend money for college and for what? Getting her? I regret taking her class so much...
Everybody failed her final. She does not teach it or prepare you for it. The school should be embarrassed. DO NOT TAKE HER.
Yep, just finished this class Fall 2022. The reviews are true, her final is ridiculously difficult because she doesn't cover the material very well prior to the exam. This is not from a lazy standpoint. Everyone has an A up until the final, but she makes it purposefully difficult to lower the average. Take Yuna Kim instead, DO NOT TAKE ATWONG.
I agree with all the low ratings. Her class is not worth the effort and time. You barely learn anything applicable and exams are not fair. Very hard to understand her...
Professor Atwong is extremely caring for her students. She has a great sense of humor and you can tell that she truly cares for each individual one of her students. She has a great attitude and makes class fun. She is a great professor.
This was an online course however SO MUCH HARDER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. No homework but exams are TOUGH. No clear instructions and math involved. She offers a lot of extra credit so take advantage because the exams are super difficult.
Horrible prof. she genuinely doesnt realize how confusing she is. there is no lectures or content so exams are based on assignments and an overwhelming amount of extra resources (many of which you will never need in the class which is why its overwhelming) everything is so confusing and she over explains everything. do not take
Her final is ridiculously difficult because she doesn't cover the material very well prior to the exam. The class average was underneath 8/20.
Senile professor with a messy and unorganized class. Exams are insanely difficult and she is not helpful.
I dedicated extensive time and effort to studying day and night, only to find that the final exam did not align well with the provided study guide. The guide appeared to be of little help, leaving me unprepared for the actual exam content.
At a loss for words. If you're reading this, stop here
Final exam will destroy you. She does not teach at all. Please do not take her! She should not be a professor.
Almost zero direction of the course- no explanation of assignments or how they relate to the class. Hardly any lectures and exams do not relate to any given material whatsoever. Not helpful with emails, if you get a response. I would 100% avoid if you can.
terrible professor, useless content. tests have nothing to do with the assingments you do, its a whole new set of assignments that its based on. no lectures or books or anything to learn from. i literally dont know why or how shes allowed to teach to students who pay $3700+ to be here to learn
She's nice as a person, but I hated her class. Her lectures were so boring and felt pointless to come to class for, everything is on Canvas. Worst final I've ever had!! Basically everyone failed. It wasn't on anything we had been taught and even the study guide was not helpful at all. You should still be able to pass, but it's going to be torture.
Professor Atwong's class is a mixed bag - the lectures can be dry, but her genuine care for students shines through. While the exams are challenging, using study tools like unstuck ai helped me stay on top of the material. Overall, a tough but rewarding experience.
