Very funny, makes class interesting, easy work.

Not bad on the eyes, really easy, INCREDIBLY HILARIOUS with lots of awesome stories. Teaches both US Government and Texas Government, has a Ph.D. and is VERY DEMOCRATIC and very ANTI REPUBLICAN.

This teacher is AMAZING. So fun, so simple, and you learn a ton. You HAVE to get her for ANYTHING Government. Classes fill up fast.. hurry!

She loves shoes and diet-coke, extremely HILARIOUS!...US and Texas goverment were never this INTERESTING, you learn TONS and TONS!!..Lots of extra-credit or "bonus" opportunities...Prof.Bottrell is such a SWEETHEART !!! ...and VERY liberal and democratic !

Ill be graduating college this May and out of every prof. ive ever had...she is STILL my fav. and i had her my freshman year! College would be a BLAST if every class was this interesting!

Absolutely hilarious! Loves to goof off during lecture, and will have you cracking up. Only 4 exams - mostly multiple choice, some short answer questions. Doesn't give exam reviews - you won’t need them. Pay attention in class, take good notes from overhead overhead, study once or twice before the exam, and you'll get an A.

Dr. Bot is really a good professor. Funny and knowledgable. She makes laughing at the leaders of our country seem right. I enjoyed the class. However, I do think that she should of had more control over the classroom. Students were texting, coming in late, just total disrespect for her and other classmates. Otherwise, a fun easy class. Take it!

I LOVE Dr. Bottrell, she rocks my socks off. She is so fun and make government interesting. She tells a lot of fun/interesting stories. Her tests are easy as long as you read and study any notes that you take. Only notes you take are what she puts up on an overhead, very easy. She's so wonderful, I took her for Both Gov classes.

If you want to be entertained and learn, take this professor. Go to class and listen, and you'll make an "A". Her class is definitely not boring and her tests are super easy.

I took Dr. Bottrell for 2305 and 2306. She is an AMAZING lady!! She will have you rolling in the isles with laughter, she is by far the best Prof I have had in the two years at TCC. Anyone needing these two classes needs to take her. Just study your notes and you will make an A.

Dr. Bottrell is extremely hilarious and entertaining. I look forward to going to class every day except for test days LOL:) She gives four tests that are a bit tricky, but if you study your notes, you'll do fine. She is liberal but not offensive. Unfortunately, she had to leave early this semestser to have a surgery. We'll see how the sub does.

Prof. Bottrell was awesome and very understanding when you needed to miss class. her test are very easy as long as you have good notes.she will make copies of notes if you miss class. The textbook is useless so save your money. Show up to each class as she provides notes that directly relate to the test and you'll be fine. Overall, I learned quite a bit. I definetly recommend her.

Bottrell is amazing! She is funny, the tests are over stuff we actually heard in class (and saw applied in current events. The only thing that bugged me what she does say UM a lot, but it gets less noticeable through the semester. Ignore that, and TAKE THIS TEACHER!

Really great teacher who definitely makes Government interesting with her fun stories, she usually starts class off by discussing current events. Just make sure to copy the notes she provides on the PowerPoint and do the MyPoliSciLab assignments and you should do fine.

Dr. B is awesome! Her lectures are interesting because she has a truly engaging personality. You don't need the book because she uses her own slides during the lecture. As long as you take notes and pay attention you will get an A! I recommend her to anyone! The best professor I could have hoped for and she really cares about her students!

Dr. B is highly educated, a practicing attorney as well as chair of her department, that tells you how well she knows her subject of law, the constitution, etc. As long as you attend every class and take careful notes you should do well. If you are lazy, skip class, or like to talk in class you will be in for a difficult time. Work hard, an A or B.

I had her for US(Spring) and TX(Summer)government.She said you will need the book but I never really used it but she doesn't care which edition you use so look up a $6 book and you will be fine. Her test is based of her notes/lecture. She has like 2-3 short papers. She's also pretty funny and amazing.

Mrs. bottrell is a Great teacher she is willing to help, she tell great stories ahe goes over the review go the test and the test follows whats on the review. she dont use the text book she goes over everything on a slide show.

Great personality and some of the most interesting lectures I've heard. As long as you study your notes prior to test you will pass with an A. Try to always attend class due to having easy writing assignments that are just your opinion on certain matters. She tells it like it is, I love when professors do this! Mrs. Bottrell is awesome! She uses her own PowerPoints so you don't need a book. Even if you aren't interested in government (like me), she makes the class worthwhile. She's so hilarious that you don't even realize you're still learning about government. If you have the chance to take her, do so. Look over the slides a few times for an A+.

I absolutely loved this teacher. She was exciting, funny, fresh, and just an all around good person. She only gives out 4 tests and there are essays with each test but they're super easy because they're just opinion essays and only a page long. In between tests she goes over the power points she has and makes funny comments. I recommend her class.

Look at her scores. They aren't lying. Easiest, most entertaining, and the most informative class I've ever taken. She will make you love and appreciate government. I took professor Botrells class during the summer two session. This class is really simple and easy. She gives four tests and a couple of in class writing assignments. Pretty much she will ask a question and you write 1 paragraph on it and you turn it in. She gives a TON of extra credit! Run fact she is also a lawyer.

I took this class for summer 2, and it was the best decision. She is hilarious, and very engaging in her lectures. She makes govt. interesting, and her being a lawyer helps too. Lots of stories and examples so you get the full grasp. Only 4 tests, and two in class small paragraph writing assignments. She also gave a 10m break. I highly recommend.

This professor is one of the best at TCC. Always makes the class fun and enjoyable. Almost all the time in the beginning of class she starts of with current events. She can sometimes go off on a tangent but is very good at teaching the material to the class. If you dont want a boring class I suggest to take her! Also one of her test is take-home!

Best Teacher Ever! Not a harsh grader, has a test for every unit, and lets u know what's on the test. We usually have around 2 essays around the middle of the semester. I took her Govt 2305 in Spring. She is hilarious. There were 4 major multiple-choice 50-question tests (1 of them is a home test) and 1 writing homework. Her class is best for you if you prefer tests to homework. Tests based on the Powerpoint. I felt that I had lots of free time when I took her class.
