I had a blast in this class, it was funny from beginning to end. I learned a couple of additional things about writing different letters and my resume. She's an okay teacher, and has some funny stories. I'd probably take here again if I had to choose between her and another professor.

Her grading sucks, but if you pay attention to what she wants it's not that bad. Maybe we had a good class, but I didnt think she was that ****y. Everyone has a different opinion I guess! Dont worry about it if you do have her. 5 weeks does go really fast!

She will kick your ass, but you will learn so much. If you like a challenge she's the one for you.

This Professor is very strict and demanding, however business world is also this way. I learned very useful techniques of writing, which improved my business communication. If you want to learn how to write, she is the right teacher.

This class was HARD. However because it is only 5 weeks, it needs to be. I disagree with the negative comments about the instructor, she was very tough, but fair and helpful. I learned a lot in this class and feel it needs to be hard. Proper writing is VERY important in the business world.

By no means is this class hard. If you are a business major this class will give you essentials to do well in the "real world." She assigns a lot of work, 2 quizzes, and a final. Look at it from the upside, the class is only 5 weeks long. By any means though, the work is not "tough." Just go to class an dlisten to the lecture and you'll do fine.

Is one of the best as far as clear lectures and to the point. She can be tough at times but it brought out the best in me.

She is not a hard teacher if you follow directions and participate in class. A lot of students who dont have english as their first language might have a hard time.

This was a difficult class and professor but I work part time in an office and know this class is good training for the business world.

If you want to learn something take this class. It starts off a hard but Prof, Ramsden is great and the class only gets easier with time. You are guaranteed to learn something valuable in this class, you might even earn a prize. Not to mention I was shocked when I received an A in the class.

I really enjoyed my time in this course. She is not a hard teacher, she may have a little chip on her shoulder. Grading was fair, she told you what would be on her quizzes. Final was easy. Nice teacer, pretty funny.

Wonderful teacher- very helpful and wants you to do well. Do the homework and you will do well! No other teacher teachs you this useful of information! The business world needs her class!

This is a good class and professor ramsden is a good teacher. I learned a lot and will probably use this writing that I learned in my job.

If you turn in every assignment, put in a decent effort and follow her instructions you should do fine. She is very good at forcing you to write to the point.

This class was very beneficial!!!! Professor Ramsden is great! This class was not the easiest, and it is not a blow off class. Professor Ramsden explains everything in detail and she an awesome teacher. I would recommend this class to anyone. This class with this professor will help you later when you start working if you dont already!

This teacher is one of the best teachers I ever had. This class is not easy but it is worth it. Complete all the assigments, study for the quizes and you are guaranteed to learn a lot. Professor Ramsden is amazing and she will teach you so much.

Prof. Ramsden is a really good teacher. You can really learn a lot from her class. She is a very good teacher. The class itself is a little difficult but that is what college is all about. If you want to learn, you should take professor ramsden.

This is not the easiest Prof. Business Writing class, but you will instantly become better in your work. A lot is covered in just five weeks (memo,biz letter,resume,..). If you work hard, Prof. Ramsden will give the grade you earned.

This class is 5 weeks. You must show up to the first class. going to class is okay, take notes on case studies. she will tell you what to correct and your done with the class before you know it. Recomended: yes Homework, 2-3 quizzes and a short final.She teaches "her way" according to others. w/e take her. useful information is taught

Catherine is a great teacher! She is well educated and experienced(English degree from ND). If you need writing skills improvement, she is an excellent choice! You do need to attend class and take notes, but she tells you EXACTLY what you need to know for all HW/tests. Hence, the opportunity for a high grade is right there if you put in the effort!

Professor Ramsden is challenging- yet that's what we're in college for. She is outspoken in her opinions, so you must be strong willed in your own to discuss them with her. She is extremely intelligent and should be respected. Great professor.

Cate is truly wonderful! At first I thought I would absolutely hate her class, but I actually ended up loving it. She is a great professor, who is very passionate about her subject and wants all of her students to succeed. She is very well organized, enthusiastic, and gives awesome feedback. She is always happy to help you out if you need anything.

Professor Ramsdem is a professor that has a good method to teach. She has a excellent organization over all the topics during the semester. Her experience it is notable since she has everything thought-out. Students won't be lost during the semester. Moreover, I'm taking other classes that this class helped to improve my presentations & writings.
