Takes her time to explain the work, drills it in your head until you get it. First impression her perkiness might get on your nerves but that passes.

By far the best teacher I've had at BCC so far. She relates well to the students and keeps a very open classroom. I've learned more from her than any other teacher thus far. It doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes either.

Took her for Acg1 and had to have her for 2. I love her. I'm an A student so I had no trouble in her class. If you take it seriously and read the book and ATTEND CLASS you will have no problem in this class. She likes me because I show that I am actually making an effort in the class and she likes that. If you are a good student, take her!

She is a great teacher.People say she goes to fast but I don't think so b/c I got a B in the class and understood almost everything. I f I didn't get something she always repeated it.(I am not one of those smart kids either.)Plus what I like about her is that she is absolutely beautiful and has the most beautiful green eyes. i took her fast track class, and i think it was the best thing i could of done. of course its a tad hard because its 16wks cramed into 8, but shes repeats everything a million times.. just dont get on her bad side.. come to class. i loved her

I loved her class. She's real cool and plan on joining the Phi Beta Lambda next year too. If you listen and come to class, plus read and do the homework then you'll do good. She'll help for as long as she can and there is a lab where you can ask tutors for additional help and assistance. Coolest teacher, funny too.

You would think that Accounting and it's related classes would be difficult, but she makes it like a piece of cake. There are some complex aspects of accounting but she makes it so easy for you to understand.

i completely loved her, she makes the class interesting and gives you examples that u can actually relate to. i took hunter for acc 1 and i got a C and with M i got A's. as long as you actually do the homework and pay attention in class... u'll get an A or a B :)

This professor is excellent. If you really want to know accounting, she is the best. Or if you are the person that gets distracted every time in class, that will not happen in her class because she keeps you interested in her class. PITA.

Prof. M is a great teacher. She is very sweet, but a lil on the weird side. You have to study in order to pass the tests, but if you pay attention in class and do the assignments, then your good to go. Its obvious that she loves what she does. She does get to class late though and that kinda annoyed me, but all in all she is great.Highly recommend

This professor is fair, professional, and reasonable. There were several instances where students had online computer problems where the professor gave assistance. This is not an easy class, but if you really put the time in and do ALL of the homework you can do well. The quizzes are a little bit harder than the tests because the material is new.

Awesome teacher. She really has a passion for what she does and she wants everyone to do well. She makes the material as simple as possible and her tests look exactly like examples done in class.

I love this prof she really makes you learn ACG2001 she explains it in ways anyone can understand. She really wants her students to succeed, shes HOT! I love how she gets all hissy when people are turning in tests with wrong answers, she even gives hints during test what else could a student want. Wear abercrombie if you want to impress her.

Fully Online. Yes, Quiz, Assignment and Discussion for each chapter but if you actually read it - it should be no problem. Very fair grading system for online class unless you are lazy. Assignements R graded and allow 3 attempts to get it right. Quiz's 10 T/F Ques. 3 non commulative 50 quest MC. MUST Read and Understand material to do well

i had her for Accounting 2. This professor is very sarcastic, however she knows what she is doing. I was able to understand everything what was taught to me. i would reccommend her to other students.

I am taking her now and she's great I had signed up for this class once before and had to drop it because I didn't underdtand anything. This teacher explains everything and she will go over it with you until you get it. One her favorite saying is accounting is not rocket science and the way she explains evrything she's right! Love this teacher!

This teacher is awesome! I took acg 1 with prof coakley first and got a D and than retook it with Mont. and got an A! She makes sure that everyone understands everything and gives out plenty of worksheets and practice work for you to understand the material. Go to class, do the homework and you will do fine. Definitely would recommend her for acg.

Absolutely loved her. She was very clear and focused on teaching so that we could understand. I definitely recommend taking Dr. M, after all i got a "B" in the class but keep in mind it takes A LOT of hard work and time in for studying but is well worth it in the end

Great instructor! Pretty, funny, and so sweet. She gives easy extra credit quizzes that boost your test grades 5% and drops the lowest test grade. For each chapter you have discussion posts, short quizzes, but very LONG homework assignments on Wiley. They can be a big hep on tests though. She goes over last minute questions right before tests. YES!

great teacher, took her for all 3 Principles, got all A's.its alot of homework with wiley+problems from the book but her quizes are xtra credit so that helps.tests are fairly easy covering what you learn in class.other than wiley, i didnt use the book at all in her class.if u cant pass acg with her, you should consider changing ur major

Dr. M was a VERY good teacher. I am a bio major, and don't care about this at all. I barely did anything. She reviews for tests. Pay attention in class. "Accounting is not rocket science." I loved her. I got the highest grade in the class, which makes me really wonder what on earth the business majors are going to do. GREAT Professor!

She is the one to take for any class you see her name. She keeps the class interested, test are online but read the book -minimal on inclass ppt. She is a definite to take. Got a A.

She great teacher. I would recommend her but dont expect an easy A- she's grade hard and doesnt accept late work (even with legitimate paperwork). I would not recommend her for any acctg because that is her area of focus. She is anal and does not to be challenged in class discussion. She has to be right.

She is laid back. While she covers materials she gives a lot of real world examples and keeps the class awake and involved. Shes a fair grader, it was not a hard class. I have a class with her starting and it will be my 3rd time taking her.

Professor M's a good professor. Not an easy A, but you're in the BAS program. A few group cases that aren't graded, one that is. A few individual cases. 1 Discussion question a week, have to reply to several and on more than one day. Test are fair...she can grade on the strict side, as in it's hard to get a perfect 20/20. I would recommend her.

The book is so expensive you do not need it! You only need the code that lets you do the homework online. Very helpful teacher awesome at explaining things. Do not miss class! Very energetic teacher and she is funny. Loved her class!

It was hard. But it would have been a million times harder without her teaching it. (I never took any accounting)I have had her in the past, and she does now give perfect scores. I got an A.

Professor M. is a good professor, at first I was afraid because he had 4 team projects. Nonetheless, my fear went away after taking this class. Just follow directions and you will pass the class. (She is very picky about writing correctly) Make sure your writing is impeccable or close to awesome.

Professor M, is an overall great instructor. I have not received my grade, yet I am confident that she will grade me fairly. Make sure you do all your assignments, do your best to pass your test, and do well on your presentations. The professor will see your efforts. She is a wonderful instructor. I will definitely take her again. THE BEST!!

Dr. M is AMAZING. She's very clear and is always prepared. The only people in my class with bad grades, missed classes and tests without making them up. She is very understanding to a certain extent; come on guys, don't think you can outsmart a woman with her Doctorate. Her class is not "easy" if you don't study, and set yourself up for failure.

She's a nice, younger professor, however she's fast. But she is very helpful and loves questions so if your stuck don't be shy, ask! And don't be fooled by the flaming chilly pepper. She ain't all that. Trust me. She's overall a good proff. I recommend her for sure!

Mrs. Montesarchio was by far one of the best professor's I've ever had! She is willing to help you with everything, is extremely funny, and really down to earth. The class is a hard class so know that going in but if your looking for a good teacher you must take her ! I promise you wont regret it.

Great professor. Points come across clear. My only advice is to go to class and not over-think things. Text book was not used all semester, but it will make the class much easier. Also, need to purchase textbook to do the homework, which is online.

She is very nice and will work with you on the grades. I took her for online and as long as you participate in all discussions, do the homework, and the tests and yoiu have an easy grade. She is very helpful and understands situations that may happen. No midterm or final for her online class! I recommend her!!

Dr. Montesarchio is great! She teaches at a fast pace, but doesn't reject questions, she reviews for all tests, gives extra credit quizzes, and explains well. Must take 5 out of the 6 tests and there is a lot of online homework. This is a hard class, but she makes it much simpler and fun. She's always saying, "Accounting isn't rocket science!" Lol.

Talks WAYYYY too fast. I almost feel like I'm the dopey one in the class for not catching up whenever she moves onto the next topic even though I'm a straight A student. What I do like about her though is that she only goes over the important things and completely neglects what is not on the test, which is great so that we focus on the main things.

I personally don't think she is that great of a teacher she is more cool. She teaches very fast, but only goes over the important things which is great, and what ever she goes over is on the test and she tells you what is going to be on the test, and what to study for they are pretty easy if you study. The online stuff is the hardest part by far.

Dr. M knows and loves accounting, from the first class she made sure to try to make everything interesting. I recommend, you don't miss class she does cover some things fast. She give quizzes which count as Extra Credit. You can take up to 6 tests and she drops your lowest grade, she counts 5. Her reviews help too.

Took her for accounting 3 online, and it was easy. All you need to do is score at least an A on cengage and you have an A in the course the way her criteria is set up. Her online class is only Cengage and discussions which arent worth many points so I did none, and focused on cengage. Beware because she assigns a WHOLE chapter sometimes in 3 days!

Even though I saw negative reviews, I took a chance because I needed class that fit my schedule and was happily shocked by how great she was. Accounting is hard but she is so good at teaching that I actually ended up liking it. I think it was slackers posting snap stuff here, because she was AMAZING. If you wanna understand accounting TAKE HER!!!

I had to learn two things in this class; Corporate Finance and how to learn from the fastest professor I've ever taken in my life. If i got distracted for even a moment she would be more than three steps away. She knows her stuff, she's a great professor, and is happy to help and revisit. The material is difficult and you will work for this grade.

Make sure that you complete all the homework on Cengage. She really seems to care about teaching and you can write notes but sometimes she goes a little to fast but its okay she has her power point slide available on d2l. Over I think she is a great professor!

GREAT PROFESSOR! I wish I took her for all of my previous accounting classes, she makes the material so easy to understand. The workload is Cengage based with all the BC Accounting classes, ACG2071 is a lot less harder than ACG2011/21! She lectures and then helps you with homework when needed. Highly recommended professor!

Dr. M. is THE Accounting professor to take. She is helpful, knows what she is talking about ( and you better start knowing what she is talking about!), makes it enjoyable, and she is a fair grader. Lots on Cengage to do, but helpful. Ask questions and she will repeat herself 100 times until you understand. AMAZING!

I just finished MKA2949 - Marketing internship, and my supervisor was Professor Montesarchio. She is really caring and a nice person. She provides informative feedbacks. When I had questions, I could call or write to her, and she helped me with any questions. I'd love to take one of her classes yet. Highly recommend!

A lot of work in Cengage. And I mean a lot. Majority of your grade is based in Cengage so do the work. Read all of the examples and do exercises.

Take her, she makes sure you understand the material and she'll help you if you need to on the homework questions. She talks fast and goes quick through the powerpoints but its all posted online so that was not an issue. There's lots of homework but you'll have that in any accounting class as all use Cengage. Took her for all three ACG classes.

Love her but accounting really isn't my thing. I struggled for a B but then again I didn't read as much as I should've. READ THE BOOK. It's boring but read it, please.

I adore Dr. M! The rumors are true, the class is fast paced. BUT she's one of those rare profs that actually teaches. She has everyone pull out paper & she walks around to make sure you're getting it. There are 5 tests (not hard) & the lowest grade is dropped. They make up 70% of your final grade, the other 30% is the Cengage HW. Highly recommend.

I TOOK THIS CLASS ON ACCIDENT!!! I'm so glad I did to tell you that Professor Montesarchio is AMAZING!!! She goes above and BEYOND for every student. She truly cares and will meet after class for any futher questions. She wants you to understand the material and WANTS YOU TO PASS!!! However, studying is key!!

An AMAZING professor. I came in to Accounting 1 terrified and she took all of that fear away. She dedicates her time to making sure every last student understands the material. There's four tests and an optional final as a replacement for a bad test grade or grade booster. She's super funny and has an all around great personality. Highly recommend.

She is the best accounting teacher to take if you actually want to learn. I took her for Accounting 1, 2, and 3. She goes fast but is always asking if anyone has questions. The homework is a little tricky to figure out at first so I recommend trying to make a friend to do the homework with in the beginning. She loves accounting.

Very entertaining class. Accounting can get boring but Prof. M keeps it lit with her outgoing personality. You go to class solely for the lecture. All graded work is on cengage. She gives a few EC opportunities(must attend class to hear about it. Grading is clear. Defiantly recommend taking her class.

Ms. M is amazing. She cares about her students getting A's and gives us all the tools to do well. You can tell she really likes accounting and tries to get everyone excited about it as well. Study for tests and show up to class because she gives out participation/ EC points sometimes.

I took Accounting 1 and 2 in class with her, she knows her stuff to the highest degree but she lectures fast. I took most of my notes from the "Show me How" tap on Cengage and online Power Points. But she always stopped and answered any questions, I also didn't mind her teaching style although I heard a few students say they preferred her sister.

You have to show up to learn the materials. I honestly recommend doing well on cengage and participation points. 5 tests but drops the lowest grade, cengage hw, & participation points Q given during class. I got 3 Bs & 1 A on the test. And yet, I have an A in class. Not very easy, but doable. Study the powerpoint esp the problems/journal entry etc.

I have taken her for accounting 1 and 2. For Accounting 1 it was very hard to pass. You need to study very well for you to pass accounting 1! I won't say its easy! For Accounting 1 the test are done in class and For account 2 and 3 online. All of your homework will be done on Cengage. If she tells you to study something, study it for pop Quiz!

Dont listen to the reviews, take her for accounting. She will walk you through every single thing and take her time to teach you separately if you did not understand it right away. There are 5 tests in cengage, homework and a final if you missed a test or have a low grade. Dont be lazy and work hard! Definitely recommend her.

Best teacher I've had at BC! Easy work especially if you pay attention and engage in class. She helps with any questions and doesn't mind explaining things again. Pop quizzes the first few classes to help you memorize important topics that you'll use throughout the course. Gives lots of practice problems that really help. Will be taking her again!

The class itself contains a lot of information that must be learned, but it isn't incredibly difficult and the syllabus was well organized. There are 9 tests, 3 of which are proctored and this class uses Pearson MyLab. There are also 5 discussions which she grades fairly, and she responds to emails in a day or less. Overall, great online professor!

Professor M is great. She will make you enjoy accounting, no matter what your major is. You will not do well in her class without reading the material in your own time. I think any negative reviews are from students who did not read the material and thought this would be an easy A, which it is not.

Professor M is a demanding but engaging teacher. The class has a lot of content, but with dedication and using resources like unstuck ai, you can succeed. Attend class, do the work, and you'll gain a strong accounting foundation.
