Great teacher!! Makes class very interesting due to her experience in the field.

Mrs. Behan is awesome! not too extreame with the work but gets the point across pretty well. Knows what shes talking abouls you do what she telt and is very excited about the subject. Have to study for tests but not hard if you use the materials she gives you.

I have taken Professor B for 3 classes. She gets the point across doesnt drown you with work but I learned alot in these clases. And she doent bring too much personal life to class, Best professor at NOVA.

You have to try in order to fail this class. She makes it fun and negotiates exam grades. Does everything in her power to help you learn/pass and make it fun. I had her for marketing too. Just don't let your phone go off in class ;-)

She was an amazing teacher who will actually help you, attendance is not mandatory but if you want to pass go and print out your slides. I'm taking her for MKT in the fall!

One of the best professors I've had, replies to emails promptly, know the material really well and knows how to teach effectively. She is fair about testing, you need to study and day after the test you can argue your case for partial credit back.

Always very nice and very helpful. Proctored an ELI course and after I was too busy at work to finish the first couple of assignments, she gave me a couple weeks to catch up and didn't withdraw me from the class. Wound up getting a high B. You can retake quizzes for a higher school and exams are moderately easy. My best business prof yet.

One of the BEST teachers I've had so far.Taken both MKT201 and BUS100 and did very well in both.Has a sense of humor and willing to help students who don't understand the material.One major project and 4 tests, and one was a take home and other on was open book open notes final.Also lets you argue for points on the ones you got wrong. GREAT TEACHER

The best teacher I have ever had. Powerpoint presentations are excellent. She will work with you if you need extra help. Understands complications of a college life.

Professor B. is what professors who actually want to teach should be. I was skeptical returning to school I took BUS 100 and since then taken her in now my fourth class. She even helps me with my other subjects. Yes she may talk about her personal life alot but as far as Im concerned she relates to "REAL LIFE" and isnt that what we are here for?

She's a great teacher. She really tries to help you pass. She also tries to make everything easy. We've done three tests, the first was open book and the second was a group test. She also gives you the chance to win back points on tests the day after. She's an awesome teacher, but talks really really fast so you have to get used to that.

BUS 100 Spring 2010. She is a fun teacher that doesn't swamp you in home work, keeps you laughing and is very understanding when stuff happens and you can't make it to class.

Best teacher ever, do your work, listen to what she says and you will pass no problem. She keeps the class fun and keeps me awake, which is rare. Shes a great teacher and doesn't overwhelm you with work.

Easily the nicest teacher at NVCC. Even if you are not interested in business, you will learn a lot of real world applications from this class. Negotiates points back on the tests and half of them were open book. Very easy to talk too about any problems/concerns. TAKE HER!

Do your homework, study for the tests, participate in class, and it's an easy A. No offense, but you have to be really dumb or constantly absent to fail this class. She's hilarious and probably one of the best teachers at NOVA.

Professor Behan is a strong & very respectable woman. Kudos to her for continuing her education! She understands her students' study habits and teaches her class so everyone has a good chance to pass. Also, she is hilarious! EASY to obtain an A. ALMOST NO HOMEWORK. SHE PUTS EVERYTHING ON BLACKBOARD. GIVES YOU SECOND CHANCES ON QUIZES. "CURVES" TEST IF THE MAJORITY OF THE CLASS DOES NOT DO WELL. SHE IS FUN AND OUT GOING. SHE IS LIKE THE ANDREW YOUNG OF THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT.

she reminds me of a chihuaha poodle mix, she's hilarious. talks fast but she is a pretty awesome teacher. deff. recommend her, especially if you aren't really interested in the class per-say.

Teacher is GREAT. Attendance is not mandatory but you are better off if you go to class. Pay attention, listen to her and you won't have any problems. Do all of your assinments and you will get a good grade. She is fun and keeps you interested.

I took her my first semester at NOVA, and i stand by it when I say she was the best professor I have had so far. So understanding, so helping and she's just on fire. If i were you, I'd take her class. She's out of the book, gives points back for quizzes and is an A if you work a bit. She has such faith in people.

She is super easy and funny.Homeworks and quizes are online but easy as hell. Exams are open book or in group so that is easy too. Just one project but u will have whole semester to do that so that is not big of deal.She would also help u if u need any kind of help. i would highly recommend to take this class, easy A

I just took her BUS 100 class during the summer, and she is awsome. She's not an "easy A" but she isn't a difficult "A" either. She makes the content current to what is going on in today's world. Some lectures can be a little dry, but then again it's a business course. Also, her exams are simple,they make you think but aren't meant to trick you.

I loved Ms. Behan. She is so helpful and her lecture style makes it easy to pay attention. If you go to class you'll get an A.

This course was probably the easiest Ive ever had. She lectures off of the power points in which she posts on blackboard. So I don't think attendance was that mandatory except for exam days. There were 5 exams and only 1 of them we had to study for. The rest were open book/notes/group work. There is a stock project and a paper. It's easy though.

I show up every class although it's not necessarily because I need the attendance grade. I just love going to her class to hear her rant about how the world is as opposed to how we're told it is. We learn business too, she(somehow) mixes her rants with the lesson material. 10/10 Would take her again if I could.

SUPER helpful, if you go along with her powerpoints you will be set for the semester. before every test be sure to complete quiz . she only gives 5 exams! definitely take her class!

She is a great teacher, the class is never boring even on Mondays! There are rarely any assignments and if you have one, it is easy. All you have to do is show up to class and take tests. She gives out easy extra credit too!

Professor Behan is probably one of the best teachers at nova. She's extremely intelligent and is also hilarious! She will never keep you bored and the assignments are not difficult at all. She's very understanding and if you take ANY of her classes you will walk out with a good grade. You'll be surprised with everything you learn in her class!

If you need advice on something she can actually answer your question or will find you one. She even helped guide me as to what to do at a 4 yr school

Impossible to fail. Prof Cogdill is so intelligent and goes so in depth with her lectures. She gives real life examples. Complete the homework on time and you'll have nothing to worry about. She gives points back if the class puts up a good argument for missed test questions. Doesn't care if you're late and gives so many extra credit chances!

She is a great teacher! wont let you sit on an 89 or 79 will will curve your grade if you deserve it. the homeworks are super easy but the tests are EXTREMELY difficult! other than that you should get an A al long as you study for test come to class and do the easy learn smart home works

Professor Cogdill is the Woman!!!! By the looks of it you can tell she loves doing her job. explains everything so well. test are very straight forward, no need for a book either.

1010 great professor, wish I could have taken more classes with this professor but I moved :( now I deal with a SUB PAR professor. Enthusiastic attitude is great, she helps you with anything in class, she understands emergencies and sickness and is there for the student. A rare professor in this day and age, I recommend her to all my friends.

Very easy grading with test. After the test, she gives extra point a lot. Very kind and provide help if we ask. No one can fail this class. Attendance is important. Need textbook for open book test but all the homework is with learnsmart.

One of the best Professors I've ever had. Would take any class that she teaches, she is very clear in her lectures. She does not want you slacking off and if you keep up with her very clear syllabus ( which she updates regularly) you will pass the class easily.

Oh Professor Cogdill. She was quite entertaining! She is friendly and exceptionally interactive .There is light homework and a few tests. I did the homework, and studied some for the tests and I'm getting a good grade. Show up, attendance is worth a whole test grade (100 points) and do the homework. it'll help your grade. She's a great professor!

Professor Cogdill is by far one of the best teachers at NOVA. As long as you complete the homework (easy and short) and show up to class, it is an easy A. She prepares you very well for the exams, and prepares you well for life. She is there to help you succeed. I never even used the textbook and barley studied and got an A.

I took her last year, and I am will be hopefully taking her again this year. Absolutely the BEST period. If you have the privilege of being a business major, guess what... she's also your adviser as well. With that said, she will take soo much time to help you in the class, as well as with your major. Witty, and funny too :)

Prof. Cogdill is very fair! After an exam she will go over the question that the majority of the class missed and as long as the class explains to her why they picked the answer they did she will add those points on your exam. So SPEAK UP!!! I took her hybrid class and never missed a class and it's for your own good to show up!

Cogdill makes this class easy through her funny, and knowledgeable teaching. Students will not have to study hard in order to retain information, but they will have to show up. By really interacting with her students, Cogdill shows that she cares and gives many opportunities of extra credit for individuals that answer questions related to lecture.

Professor Cogdill is great. She is a must-take if you looking to go into business and looking to transfer with a high GPA. Tests are fairly easy. She's extremely passionate about business, and will ensure that you get an A if you put in the effort. Just keep up with the online HW assignments once a week and you can't fail.

She's a wonderful professor. Very very easy class. Many online homework's that counts towards your grade, which only take like 10 minutes to do. 5 exams, 3 are taken at home, and 2 in the class. As long as you do your work on time, it's an easy A.

She's an example of what other professors should be like. Work wasn't aggressive and the information was the easiest to retain, other professor should take note. Really sweet demeanor and her lectures are always fun. If you ever have a honest question or genuine concern, if you ask after class she will address it for you. Highly recommend.

Hands down the BEST professor I've ever had and the only one that made me feel like even though we are students, we matter. She is very insperational and makes you want to learn. Felt like I was at a comedy club than a college classroom when attending class with her. That's how much hilarious & funny she is but, also at the same time she is the most inspirational, influential prof, & role model I've ever met in my life! She shared her personal stories & has inspired me to complete my education strong. Built my confidence!
