Awesome teacher! She gives good study guides... tests are very easy as long as you go over the study guide a few times. She also allows cram time before tests, which I thought was very generous. She wants to help students as much as possible. Got an easy A in her class.

She was my teacher and I still talk to her. She was quite nice, though I had her first class and she was still getting used to the transition I think she did so quite nicely. Overall she is one of my favourite teachers and I still talk to her even though I don't have any classed with her anymore. I recomend her.

She is very easy, and gives you a study guide for what is going to be on the test. The only bad part about the class was the fact she always delayed things so you never knew when stuff was actually was due in her class.

Adheres to the syllabus quite well, while still allowing for class discussion, which is a great help in a class such as psych. All the test material comes straight from the notes with little or no trick questions.

I think she would be the best teacher I have had at BCC yet. She is fun and keeps your attention. Study guides for all test. Easy on grading. Very willing to help with class work or anything. I will be taking her for another class.

Dr. Cico is my favorite teacher at BCC. She is very nice and is always willing to help if needed. She is constantly asking if anyone has any questions and when she is lecturing, she always asks if anyone needs help before moving on. Her tests are certainly not easy, but you can pass if you try.I would recommend her to anyone, no matter the subject.

Dr. Cico is there to help anytime. I had her over summer so the class was more difficult. Study for her tests and you will do fine. Topics in class were interesting but sometimes too long on some topics. I reccommend her anytime.

Mrs. Cico is a very very nice lady. However, i was very dissapointed in the class work. I thought psycology was going to be fun with alot of activities but it was just very long long boring lectures. However she is very fair when it comes to her tests. If you study the material given you should get a A.

I think Dr. Cicio is an incredibly awesome teacher. I had her for psych 1 over the summer and I enjoyed it so much, I took psych 2 w/her! She is always willing to help w/ inside or outside of class work and tries to be as clear as possible. I can't think of a better teacher I have had at BCC. Work? I took Dr.Cico last fall for psychology. she is one of the best professor's I had She posted her lecture notes and we were free to print them and use them. Best idea is to print them and use them, she covers everything. also read your chapters and you will pass her class. she is willing to help you in and out of class. Please BE GOOD TO HER!!!!!!

After taking her Psych 1 class, I'm planning on taking every class she teaches! So far, my favorite teacher at BCC. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in psychology.

Pretty easy class, if you asked her a question on a test, she'd pretty much give you the answer.

She is wonderful. You can count on her all the time. It is not hard to get a good grade in her class!

Extremely helpful, she was willing to talk after class, personal issues, no problem, school issues, she can help, if you need her to look over a paper for another class she is willing.

She's really a great teacher! If she taught every single class I took from here on out, I wouldn't object. She's extremely helpful. She gives you the notes online, no need to write the whole class, and as long as you study straight from the notes you'll get excellent grades on the quizes. A+ teacher!

Getting a textbook is a waste of time- all of her tests come from her PowerPoint notes anyway.

I had never taken a Psych class before this, but I am very happy that I did take her Psych 1. Just going through that one class with her made me change my major to Psychology. She is extremly helpful, if you don't understand something and she makes difficult material fun and easier to understnad. Recommend, highly!

Dr.Cico is very good at what she does. The class is always allowed to discuss whats going on, she has done so much in her field there is little she does not know or have an example for. THE TESTS ARE RIGOROUS, study the power points and you are golden.

GREAT teacher. Loved her to death. Dont bother buying the book really. I mean there are some questions on the test from it but not enough to make a difference. She loves when you put in your opinion on the topics. Tests are straight from the powerpoint. She is a little weird at times but you cant help but love her to death. She will always help you

I had her her first year teaching & she was awful. Knew a lot about the subject but wasn't greating at teaching it. She gave me an F on my last paper & said it was plagiarized when it was proof read but my Comm teacher. I ended up getting a D in the class & had to retake it. Wouldn't recommend her above the other professors.

Dr. Cico's constant application is addicting & contagious;you will start applying outside of class before you realize it.What she teaches will give you life long skills in tact,listening, empathy & awarness. Very easy class. Kind of boring because all she does is lecture on her powerpoints. But the class discussions are always interesting. The tests are exactly the powerpoints (word for word). The final is super easy as well. It is all of the easier questions from previous tests. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!!! You will get caught. Easy A overall.

I took her for psy 1 and 2 I got a A in one class and a B in the other. I was a duel enrollment student. After her classes I became a psych major and she is still my favorite psych teacher I ever had. I definitely recommend

This has by far been my favorite class that I have taken. I think I ended her class with a 99%. Her papers are extremely easy and she gives you a wide range of topics to work with.Just make sure you follow the format she tells you. Her test are "hard" if you don't visit her office hours. GO IN BEFORE THE TEST!!! I can PROMISE you, you will get an A

Very easy class. Took her for Psy 1 & 2 and got A's in both classes. All you have to do is study the power points for tests and write passable papers. What I like about her is that she's so down to earth, she makes you feel like she is truly there to help you succeed in the class. Also, treats you like an equal.

Very easy to work with and talk to. Will work with you to make sure you succeed in her class. Uses powerpoint for general topic discussion but branches off with more information. Psych 1 and 2 with Dr. Cico are amazing classesthat you will not regret signing up to.

Extremely kind professor and very willing to take extra time to help you if you need it - worth doing, I might add. Not to mention, it was one of the few classes I actually enjoyed :) Papers were a bit strict, but definitely doable and good prep for university level colleges.

Excellent teacher! She is very understanding and a kind heart-ed woman. However she has a hard time pushing the class forwards. She loves to answer and to hear your questions. She is always available for extra help, and listens to your concerns! I recommend completely!

she is so different, interesting and AWESOME! VERY easy class, she literally copy and pasts the powerpoint to the test, she gets tricky on the tests. Just study the powerpoints and its a WAY EASY A. The only thing she is hard about is APA format, and turning things in on time.but other than that she is SO understanding. class easy & so interesting!

Great professor. Had her for psych (a perspectives class). Tests were easy for me, and here's my trick: note cards. Know everything that is associated with one definition/term. I made note cards and went over them once or twice daily during the week before a test and made all As on the tests. The 3 Papers are a breeze. Take her! =)

Yes, it's pronounced "psycho". The papers and tests are easy and straightforward. There is not a lot of material to learn, so much of the class time is spent discussing personal problems, watching movies, and doing fun activities. As long as you have a good attitude, this class will be fine.

Very easy class, she is very helpful, tests are tricky but everything is straight off powerpoint, if you miss a class no worries there is nothing on tests that are not on the powerpoint already. Definitely recommend!

Ms. Cico is really nice and she knows a lot about psychology. Her tests are not hard because they are exactly off the power points. The papers are easy because they only have to be 800 words and you can choose what you want to write about. Lecture can be boring but the class is easy.

I didn't enjoy the class at all. Her lectures were boring and lengthy. The only positives were that her tests were written directly from her powerpoints and that she gives a letter grade, all or nothing extra credit assignment. (It's service learning... nothing too difficult.) She also has a pretty loose attendance log.

The test questions come word for word off the power points and she will even help you study for the test if you come see her during her office hours. Her tests are straight from her slide show (lecture notes) which are provided via canvas so as long as you study you should be alright. Show up to class and pay attention and you be alright

Professor Cico was a very good teacher. Her lectures were engaging due to the fact that she presented them in an interesting way. The 5 exams were not very difficult, as long as (like any other class), you studied the material. You are given a good amount of freedom with the 3 papers as well. I would highly recommend this teacher.

Dr. Cico was seriously one of the best professors Ive ever had. The material can be tedious and difficult, but she provides good clear cut lectures and plenty of time to study the material. If you focus, it will be no problem.

If you want to take a class to learn more about psychology, don't take Psychology 2 with this professor. The class is extraordinarily easy and I felt like I didn't learn anything the whole course. The professor is very nice and can make good jokes during the class, but if you want a challenge, this course does not offer that.

Prof. Cathy Cico can come off as a little awkward, but she's a really kind person. Her lectures are presented through Powerpoints, essays are leisurely graded and if you need help she's always willing to give you a chance to do a practice test before taking the actual exam. However, she doesn't give you extra credit except the Volunteer Learning.

Dr. Cico is a very kind-hearted, friendly instructor. Very helpful towards students who show they are putting effort into her course. There are 5 exams and 3 papers. Test questions can definitely trip you up, but as long as you study the slides posted online and meet with her for questions, you will do well.

Professor Cico is a great teacher. She does lecture notes (and reads right off the slides) and she also posts notes onto Canvas. She encourages class disscussions. She grades the papers really easy & her test are easy & you can pass with minimul study time. She is shy but is really a great teacher & will push into some uncomforatble psych topics.

this class is pretty much lecture everyday except test days, however she really encourages group discussions during the lecture and real life experiences from the students. she puts her lecture powerpoint online and if you study that thoroughly you should do really good on the tests the questions come straight from the powerpoint. papers are easy.

Dr. Cico is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. She makes the lecture notes relatable and much easier to understand. All of her tests are on content that was actually covered in class and she posts all of her powerpoints on canvas to use for studying, as well as study guides and practice tests. Class consisted of the following: 5 exams(last one is review of previous), 3 papers(easy and you choose topics), and reading from some pages from textbook to pass each exam. DO THE STUDY GUIDE! It sounds complicated when she explains it , but just do it and the exams will be a breeze. Lecture heavy but she tried her best to make it the best.

Super nice professor. Made her own powerpoints, and all quiz questions came from them or the book. Weekly quizzes and a few papers, but the grading was lenient. I took her for Gen psych and she was the best professor I've had. It gets boring if you don't speak up. She gives you many opportunities to speak your mind about topics and always ask if you have questions. If you show up and study your notes you will pass. If you communicate your issues she will do her best to help you out.
