test are hard....but she curves alot and gives extra credit
Do not take her!!! You can't understand anything she says and her test are rediciously hard!!! Yea she gives you extra credit but I should be able to get an A in a class without extra credit if the teacher is a good teacher!! Try NOT NOT to take her!!
Dr. Lee is a great teacher who knows her stuff. Her tests are hard but if you study the chapter reviews and review questions than you will pass. I have learned so much from her class, and would take her again in a heart beat. She works with you alot and is focused on all her students doing well.
She is a hard teacher. She does gives lots of extra credit just so some of us can pass her class. Her accent is really strong. Her test are really detailed and she teaches at a higher level than her students can understand. Don't take this class, it is very hard u spend too much time preparing for her tests.
She is hard and you need to take this class with just other.
WARNING..STAY FAR AWAY. This teacher "CATHY LEE" is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. No words could describe how unpleasant and unhelpful she is. She has no kids, no husband, no life, but biology. So she thinks she is preparing for the nursing program, but she is preventing you from getting into the program. DO NOT GET HER know your stuff!
She is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. She seems as if she might know what she is talking about but does not know how to teach it, and she does not speak clear english at all...i would tell anyone to stay as far away as they could!
She is very hard an unclear about the work to pass her class you have to be like an straght A student. If your an avg studnet then you may fail. Her teaching is not for A-B studants, mostly all A students and they get C's out of her class.
she is not a good teacher. she cannot speak english. she confuses herself at times. she expects her students to teach her english. she gives no extra credit. good luck if you are in her class.

Alot of people found her hard to understand, but I thought she was a great professor. She's very helpful and gives tons of extra credit. I got through the class with an "A" without using the text book. She's very nice and tries to relate things to make them more understandable.
You cannot understand this lady at all.. DO NOT TAKE HER. her test are long and super hard and she doesnt care about your grades. She a mean and hard teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alot of others told me she was horrible, but I disagree. Once you get her teaching style down, an A is no problem. She gives 20+ extra credit points per lecture exam! 40% of class dropped midterm, but the ones who were still there are doing great. Including me with a 100+ average.
As the other comments below state how hard Dr. Lee is well the truth is she is a hard professor, but I had her in the summer of 2008 and I got an A in her class, but I worked extremely hard. I say that as long as you have a textbook, and do all the extra credit that she gives you then you should do fine. O by the way ask alot of questions!
This woman called me beautiful but stupid; even told me to change my major. She called me out in class and said i was failing. The whole time she had me mixed up with someoneone else. You cannot understand a word she says. Her teaching manner is so disorganized. She does offer extra credit though.
She is extremely hard and detailed and she expects you to know your stuff. She is a wonderful prof if you are willing to work hard she is willing to work with you. Gives extra credit and very encouraging. If you can't hack her class you aren't cut out for nursing. She makes it hard for a reason!!!
Dr. Lee makes this class much harder than it should be! Her accent makes her nearly impossible to understand and her notes are very disorganized (probably since she teaches from 5 different books!). The tests are ridiculously hard, but she usually gives lots of extra credit. Take another professor for anatomy if possible!
Dr.Lee is an excellant Professor. She loves to teach and loves her students. She is very helpful. If you study your notes, do your bonus points you will get an A! I did get an "A" and I am horrible at Biology. Her class is not hard if you APPLY YOURSELF and seek her for HELP. She loves when her student come by for help!
I love Dr. Lee!! But she is EXTREMELY hard. You have to work your butt off in her class... but she does prepare you for nursing school. If you can't handle her, you can't handle nursing school. With her you have to study A LOT! and listen closely because she is hard to understand.
Dr. Lee is awesome. Pre nursing classes are hard, but she was very helpful. I plan on taking Anatomy and Physiology II with her.
EXCELLENT PROF! Works with students to make sure everyone is on the same page. Gives extra credit. The comments re: her accent are not true. I had no problems w/her clarity. She wants everyone to do well and goes beyond her call of duty to see that you all are a success. I will take her again for AP2. EXCELLENT! Way to go Dr Lee! Stephanie

Dr. Lee is an awesome professor. She does have a strong accent, but it is easy to get used to. And, she is very open to asking ANY questions or even asking her to repeat what she said. Her class is very hard, however, if you are planning on being in the nursing program, that is going to be even harder. She does give lots of extra credit to help!
Dr. Lee is an excellant professor. She is interested in helping students succeed all the way. She is a little hard to understand but, she's really funny. This class is hard and you have to devote alot of time to studying, but it's worth it. She gives tons of extra credit and reviews for all tests/quizzes. Take her for A&P!
Dr. Lee is a great teacher. It is hard to understand her at first, but one can catch on after a couple of weeks. She gives a lot of extra credit, and gives the students a channce to ask any questions. One would have to study, study, study hard for the test to pass.
Dr. Lee is one crazy lady I had her for A and P 1. She is very fun and energetic but her accent can be very unclear so just ask if you have questions she does not take offence to it. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities but you do have to work for it. She wants you to pass she is not one of those teachers that doesn't care. SHE IS AWESOME!!
I love Dr. Lee...if you study and do the bonus work..expect a great grade. She is very open and does not lie!!! Cool Lady! I am motivated to continue my journey in nursing due to Dr. Lee! Continue the great job!
I love Prof Lee....hard hard hard class...boot camp for the nursing program...lots of extra credit! Do it....it pays off at the end.
Dr. Lee is such a sweet and funny lady, she makes class interesting! However, she can be very blunt, but she doesn't mean to be rude. I made a 'B' in the class after working very hard! Work hard and you'll make at least a B. Great teacher, I'd definately recommend her!
Dr. Lee is great! She is te most helpful teacher I've ever had. She loves her job, and her topic. A lot of people say her tests are hard but she gives TONS of bonus. Her english is a little broken at times, but it can be overcame. I made a 107 in ANAT I and 103 in II. Take her!
Her exams are HARD..BUT tons of bonus, VERY HELPFUL! Very REAL! LOVE DR. LEE! Sassy and fun and smart! I am taking her AGAIN!
Dr. Lee was a good teacher, for her lab assignments it is good to bring both the lab and textbook. Do your study guide thoroughly and always always do her extra credit. and without a doubt you will pass.
Dr. Lee is amazing. I have never known anyone who is as smart as she is!! Her tests are indeed hard, but she gives tons of bonuses!! Labs are wonderful and a little easier than lecture tests. If you study your study guide and do her bonuses, you will pass!!! She is there to help you during her office hours, if you need it!!
Hard as HELL! However, she is the most amazing professor I have ever had. I do nothing but study, but she makes you want to succeed. Her lectures are very hard to follow and keep an interest in. But she is very entertaining, nice, and helpful. Her extra credit saved my life.
Hard! Hard! Hard! not an easy A but Dr. Lee is the best!!! She is very hard but she wants you to succede in the nursing program. She really cares,and wants you to pass here class. STUDY what SHE tells you to study and do all extra credit. I always made A+ on tests. Oh and attend class.
Dr.lee is so nice. She loves the subject and is always willing to help you. She gives tons if extra credit. Most of the test comes right of the study guide. However, anatomy is not an easy subject.
Dr. Lee is an outstanding professor overall. The key to success is to stay organized! Read your text before lecture and don't miss lecture! Though tedious, do your study guide for exams and study from them. ALWAYS complete the extra credit work,it makes a difference in your grade!!! Dr. Lee is demanding, but if you want to learn, she is for you!
If you like a challenge, this Professor is for you! I don't recommend freshman to take this class because its a big step from high school. Especially for those who are average students. Read and study! Her accent is very hard to understand when she is lecturing. You are basically teaching yourself. Read ahead of lectures and review notes. Test=hard
I looooove her!! She is the best prof. in the Gordon!! She is a little hard, but if you do her study guide, you will get an A++. Like I did! She gives you a bunch of extra credits! Oh, and her accent is not bad, don't listen to those people said that they can't understand her. She is sooo helpful and funny! If you need help, she's there to help you
Okay so in all honesty Dr. Lee isn't very clear~ she is Korean and can be hard to understand sometimes. She's very sweet and understanding though, and also give butt loads of extra credit. Her teaching method isn't the greatest, I learned everything from my book/computer, but if you just do the work it's not too hard to get an A.
I LOVE DR. LEE! She is a great teacher and really helps everyone understand what we need to know. She really prepares you for the nursing program and makes you think. I love her charts and her connections to everything. She is a wonderful teacher and I regret not taking her for A&PI. She gives tons of extra credit, and will help you with anything.

A great teacher, really smart and she cares very much about her students. She wants them to succeed. You need to do your part, too, though.
Dr. Lee is wonderful. Her class is not a "freebe" you must work. Your study clearly reflects for effort. She gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit.Regardless that she is Korean she can be understood if you listen. If your mind is small do yourself a favor and don't take her class. WE LOVE DR.C LEE!!
Dr. Lee is a great teacher! at first she is intimidating, but her class really isnt that hard. all you have to do is make sure you do the study guide, the test comes exactly from that. and do the extra credit, it really helps! if you do that it is an easy A. i plan on taking her for A&P2!
Dr. Lee is extremely helpful. She almost makes you learn the material. If you do not understand something, you can tell her you don't understand, and she will find a way to explain the material in a way that is understandable. She is so nice, and funny too. If you really want to learn in A&P1 or 2, take Dr. Lee!
Love Dr. Lee. She really loves teaching A&P and it shows. Lots and lots of work, but if you do it it pays off, her study guides are pretty much the test you still need to read and study, but she really wants you to succeed. She is hard and its lots of work but it pays of if your wanting to go into the healthcare field!

Honestly I had a difficult time understanding Dr.Lee, but I went to her and she helped me out. She is really there for her students and wants them to succeed, if you just take the time and effort to go and see her. The material is hard; however, she gives lots of extra credit but its not easy. Above all i would recommend Dr. Lee she's great.
Dr. Lee is very helpful, she wants her students to come see her if they have any problems. The work is hard, but she gives a lot of extra credit and bonuses for her exams. She really is a great professor and I would take her again.
She gives tons of extra credit which if you take the time to do it you will do great in her class. She nevers uses the book and will even tell you not to waste your time buying it
If you hear she's teaching a class that has never been offered, find something else, especially if that class includes a lab. She will make that up as she goes along, degrading you at seemingly every opportunity. She didn't even tell us what she expected for the lab notebook until week 12 of the class, even though we repeatedly asked.
Dr. Lee is Korean and VERY hard to understand. She is very funny though! Her tests are just like the study guides she gives out. She has 4 lecture test (includes final) and 4 lab exams (the work you do in lab is counts as 1 exam grade. So basically its a free 100 on a lab exam). She is willing to help anyone!
i LOVE Dr. Lee, once you get used to her accent you'll be fine. she will do whatever it takes for you to pass i made 103 's on her tests. she gives ample extra credit. she will keep you entertained. TAKE HER IF YOU WANT TO PASS. highly recommend
Wow! This teacher is really hard. First test we had she said over half the class made lower than a 50%. She is so hard to understand, and if you ask her questions she will drift off talking about something completely different. If you don't do the extra credit she will call you lazy. She's kind of nice sometimes. If you want to fail, take her.
Very Helpful! Took over summer and made an A! Go to class, study hard, and do extra credit! You will definitely pass. Dr. Lee is super funny! She definitely steps on a few toes, but keep them close and she won't have a reason to. Don't slack b/c you'll fail! Take her if you want to learn. You'll get used to her accent for sure! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Unclear lectures you need to read notes n the book to understand material and find your own way to prepare for the test questions
Dr. Lee is absolutely wonderful. I have had her for Anatomy & Physiology I and II. She is very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. She provides lecture notes and videos to help you learn as well as utilizes Mastering A&P. Dr. Lee is an amazing professor and I would definitely take her for any other science class that I needed!!
Dr.Lee is very intelligent. You will not understand her if you do not read assigned reading before class. The book, youtube, and mastering will become your main source of info. Her lecture notes are what you need to know for the exam! She is very flexible and gives TONS of bonus, therefore with dedication you will pass. Prepares you for nursing p!
Dr. Lee is hilarious. Most people take offense to the things she says, but she is just very honest. Don't take anything personal. If you come to class and do the assignments, you have to work to fail. I missed a class/assignment one day and still ended with an 89. D2L, online quizzes, extra credit and labs will be your best friend.
She is a great teacher and wonderful person. However, I struggled to keep up with her at times. She tends to think everyone understands even when you tell her you don't. An A is very possible, but you will have to work for it. If you take her in a full semester it will be pretty easy, but summer is very crammed.
She is an amazing teacher! I'm working on my second degree and out of all the professors I have had she is definitely the best!

Dr. Lee can sometimes be hard to understand when she is explaining an assignment, so make sure she has all of you attention and you ask question to make sure you have a clear understanding of the assignment. Her exams con be difficult at time but just study the notes she gives you. Dr. Lee Grading scale is also a little difficult to understand.
She loves to give inspirational lectures - just go with it. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities in order to be successful. Be sure to do all assignments, it is a lot of busy work but it is worth it in the end.

You would need to write the power points down or could simply go online to D2L and print out another version she uses for her online class. I thought her class was hard but there was people making 100s on her test. So Study and do ALL of the extra credit and you will be fine.
She is a great person & full of life. Unfortunately her broken English is really hard to interpret and she often gets off topic with her analogies. Be aware you have to have the lab manual even though it's not required initially. Also don't think your walking out without her asking where are you going. Take her as last resort
This lady initially comes off as fun and energetic but if you aren't trying to go to med school don't bother with her. She assigns too much work and all of it requires a lot of time to complete because you have to do a lot of research outside of the class and textbook. She's extremely rude, don't bother unless you're going to med school.

Although many people seem to not like Dr. Lee, I really enjoyed her class. It IS NOT a class you will pass without actually studying and working hard. If you do what is necessary to pass, the class isn't that bad. I am taking her again next semester! If you're a hard worker and don't mind countless hours of studying, take her.
Dr. Lee is all over the place. I ended up taking her for Anatomy 1 and 2 due to all the other classes filling up. Her tests are hard and often don't even follow the study guides. If you don't have the time to study for a couple hours a day stay away. She is a nice enough person but one of my least favorite professors.
I took DrLee for anatomy & physiology and it was the WORST class I've ever taken. She goes very fast with lectures and isn't clear on what everything means. She makes asking questions about missing grades uncomfortable & will cut you off in the middle of your sentence and tell you to hush. If you can avoid her do it, or prepare for a hard semester
Get ready for a tough ride. If you have the chance to take someone else please do. Her tests are extremely hard to the point that you could study for days and still fail. She does give extra credit, labs test and lab reviews will be your best friend ( in the end). If you have to take her be prepared to study hard and lose your mind.
I love love love Dr. Lee but DO NOT take her online class. She is very difficult in person but I made in A in A&P1. I am taking her online for A&P2 and Ive failed every single test. Only take it online if you have to and can devote the majority of your time to it. It is a very difficult course but Dr. Lee is understanding and willing to work w/you.
This class was unbelievably hard. I struggled the whole semester trying to understand the material. If you have to take her class good luck bc you will need to teach yourself. She has a nice personality but as a teacher in my opinion shes not good
The only way I passed was because of the extra credit. Class was super difficult and on top of that lecture heavy which made it more difficult to understand.
DR LEE WAS A HARD PROFESSOR, HER CLASS IS DOABLE, COME TO HER CLASS AND SHE WILL HELP YOU, SHE OFFERS EXTRA CREDIT.
I took her for Anatomy 1 and 2 and got an A. She gives extra credit so make sure you take advantage of that. She likes it when students make an effort and come to her office hours. Tests are hard, but study and do all of the other assignments and you should be good.
Professor Lee is amazing. A&P1 is already hard alone but professor Lee has done her absolute best to deliver & be flexible with this class and the workload. She is always known for giving 2nd attempts on bad test grades, extending due dates if needed & even extra credit. You can't ask more from a teacher like this, she's the best of the best.
She only used Pearson and recorded lectures that had no correlation with each other.
She is HARD! I think I struggled mostly because it was a hybrid class. I do better face to face. She gives opportunities for extra credit. I did feel like her lecture notes and videos did not relate directly to her lecture exams. I felt like her exams were coming out of left field. She is encouraging and helpful though.
Since I took that class online it was easier to do the work and study for Lecture and Lab exams. Every assignment was on Pearson myLab and she also gave extra credit assignments.
Does not lecture, only reads from slides that are years old on YT. The tests are full of grammatical errors and have no correlation with the "lecture." Only take this class if it is your ONLY option and you have 4-5 hours to study a day. She does offer extra credit but it doesn't count unless you get 100% on it and they take hours to complete.
Dr. Lee was one of my favorite teachers. You have to work hard.
All of our assignments were on a different website then D2L. I was unable to login to the website and I emailed her 3 times through the semester and never received a response. I was only able to do big exams but not labs or work. She has still not answered me yet, so now I am failing her class because I couldn't login to the website.
She is tough, truly. I'm also having an issue where our assignments are beginning to not correspond with the schedule set for the class. Hopefully after reaching out she's supportive and helpful.
