she's the best there ever was. don't bother with anyone else i have no idea why she teaches at gainesville because she should be somewhere amazing but i'm glad she was there. the class will kill you if you don't study and take good notes but she'll help!

I have retained a lot of information from her teaching. She would stay after class to make sure you understood completely. Fast pace, but to the point. We are still friends today.

Oh man! She's such a great teacher that its impossible to hate her for being so hard! This class is intense and involves a ton of studying but Dr.Whiting is here to help 24/7. She is the first and probably the last teacher that is willing to help so much! Take her if you really want to learn A&P and not just memorize.

Dr. Whiting is an awesome professor. She is an outstanding example of what all teachers should be. What other teacher will stay up until 11pm to help you study? This class is very challenging and takes A LOT of hard work. It is all well worth it in the end!

She is one of the most dedicated instructors I have ever encountered. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she makes students want to learn. The course is challenging and difficult but she will be with you every step of the way to help you succeed. There were several nights before the final that she was up with us studying until past 10 or 11 PM.

The HARDEST teacher I have EVER had. This woman scared the heck out of me, I studied more than I ever have in my life, and somewhere in all this.. got an A. In other words, she expects a lot, but I recommend her as a great teacher.

she is a great professor ,she helps you make a good grade if you put forth effort.she if very kind and welcomes into her own home for a final study session.i highly recomend her.her finals and midterms are easier than her regular quizes.

I have never studied so hard for anything in my life. Make no mistake--this is at least a 40 hour/wk class--BUT SO WORTH IT. She is absolutely phenominal. She knows her stuff and she makes you love it (and a fine Christian lady too)!!! Keep up the good work Dr. Whiting. Your students love you!!

Dr. Whiting is the most amazing professor I have had thus far. Arguably, A & P is the most difficult course in a two year college, but Dr. Whiting has the knowledge and passion to teach her students well. She is VERY devoted to helping each person learn the material instead of simply memorizing notes. FANTASTIC INSTRUCTOR!! THANK YOU DR.WHITING!:)

I enjoyed this class a lot. Dr. Whiting is an excellent teacher and I understood her well. She makes sure you are keeping up with the work with weekly quizes, but gives you plently to study from. You have a lot to learn and if you take a split session like I did you will have to have decent study skills to stay on top. She does challenge you!

Whiting is the best scince teacher at gainesville, "period".....but be willing to do your work and study all semester for a good grade. it's woth it. You will leave the class full of oyurself because you feel so smart when your done.

Dr. Whiting is the most amazing teacher ever. I was very intimidated with little confidence going into her split session a&p class. I came out feeling like a new person. I have never enjoyed studying for a class, until hers. I just can't say enough good things about her :)Take her!

If you're looking for an easy A,avoid her! If you're interested in a medical field, you must take her!!Anatomy is a hard subject. If you cut corners, you won't get it. She knows how to make you understand it which will probably ensure you success in any medical field. And she gives you plenty of opportunities to raise your grade! And she's fun!

Dr. Whiting is not an easy professor but I have never learned so much in my life and enjoyed learning. The class is stressful if you do split session. You have quizzes almost every week and they are not "tricky" they are "challenging" in other words they are hard but they really help your test taking skills and your studying skills. She's great!

I am currently taking Dr. whitting for split session. She is the toughest professor who teaches anatomy but DO NOT take anyone else. She is an amazing teacher who really pushes her students to their limits. She truely cares about her students. You have to put A LOT of time into this class but if you do it pays off! Very hard class but shes great

Best teacher I have EVER had in my life!!! She will change your world and make learn in ways that may be foreign to you. Like studying for 50hrs /week. I still sometimes go and listen to her lecture(after I passed the class). She is that great! Love ya Dr. Whiting and Thank you!

SHe is the BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!! You MUST take her if you are a Nursing major. She builds a foundation for Anatomy knowledge so that you never forget it!! LOVE HER!!!!

I took Doc for split session A&P. All I can say is, DO NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSE! She is absolutely incredible. I have never learned so much in a class before. She is NOT easy and she makes you WORK but it is worth it in the end, esp. if you are a nursing major! She is the most helpful and caring person, she will stay until campus closes with you!

Dr. Whiting is a wonderful teacher! I had her for split a&p this past spring and got an A for both. Her class is hard and you have to study and learn the info, you cant just memorize everything it doesnt work. She is a must take, just go in prepared to study your butt off. Wonderful teacher! Took this split session past Spring and she was awesome teacher. You really have to study bc its not memorization but critical thinking. She was really excited about our subject and presented it so well she is definitely my favorite professor of entire college career!

Dr. Whiting is hands down the best teacher I have ever had in my college career! The material is fast-paced during split session but is presented clear and concise. She always reviews what is important for quizzes and tests (only gave four quizzes, a midterm and a final plus lab). I am going to miss her when I graduate.

Split session is extremely fast paced (almost a chapter/day) and detail-oriented. You will be overwhelmed your first day. However, Doc is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. She will push you to limits you never knew existed. You will work your tail off and study like never before because this class REQUIRES 100% dedication. You must stay caught up. Take Doc :)

Dr. Whiting is AMAZING. I absolutely loved her class. The human body is extremely interesting! Yes, there is a lot to study, & you may feel as though you are dying at times, but it's all worth it in the end. She is really involved in her students, so if you are struggling she will help you! TA's are great too! tldr; Take her if you need this class.

One of the best teacher's! She'll make you love studying even when you feel like you're brain is about to explode and you're dying! Most intense class I've ever taken. I would be at the school from dawn until dusk sometimes just studying anatomy. Take her though! She will get you prepared for wherever your future in healthcare will take you.

Get ready to take notes! I NEVER used the book, and you print the stuff you need for lab. Her TAs are the best there are. Be prepared to study your butt off and make this your life for the semester but if you're dedicated you will make an A! Multiple Choice/Short Answer/Diagram on all tests. Love her to pieces!

She is the absolute best professor I have ever had and will probably ever have. She really works around the grading and will make you pass if you put in the effort. Drops lowest quiz grades in lecture and also in lab. TAs are absolutely amazing and so extremely helpful. Passing this class with an A or a B is so very possible for ANYONE. Love her!!!

Great instructor. You will know more when you finish the class than your peers who had other professors. Set aside a lot of time to study and you will do very well. She is fair in grading as well. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend her if you are serious about learning and doing well in your field of study!

This new criteria lets us only pick 3 tags to best describe the professor. It wasn't enough. She is, hands down, the best professor at UNG. I'm in nursing school now and I am reminded of her every single day because her class prepared me so much. If you want to succeed, and actually retain the information, take Doc.

I took the split section of 2120K, i felt like i was studying for the final every single day for just a normal quiz in this class. You have to find time to study everyday, this class will be your life, but by the end of the class, you'll know A&P. Hard but definitely worth it. Don't take to many classes with it. I took 2 others and i was fine.

I have attended major universities before and I have never felt appreciated as much as I did with Dr. Whiting. She genuinely cares for the students even outside of the classroom. Tests are hard but she makes the class so enjoyable that students actually want to study and learn. I later became her Teaching Assistant the semester after.

Doc is one of the smartest, most knowledgeable people I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. But she is also humble enough to say she doesn't know everything. She expects participation in lecture and lap. And do yourself a favor and get friendly with the idea of a concept mapping. They will be your best friend while studying for her class

She is always willing to help you when you're struggling and goes out of her way to provide more resources than you can possibly ever use to fit each individual's learning style. Make use of her PP slides, Mastering, the texts and PAL and you're set to have a great learning experience

Doc is amazing! You will learn the human body like nothing you've ever learned. Use the crazy amount of resources she supplies, take notes on her PP Slides and spend time in lab and you'll be set and ready to rock. I loved Doc. Not only is she an amazing person, she is a superior teacher. Her tests are hard, but I made A's on all of them with about 2-4 hours of studying prior. It is doable, if you put in the time. Besides the tests, she gives great lectures and be sure to print out her lecture notes. You'll be fine!!

Whiting will definitely give you a run for your money. With that being said, she's one of the best profs i've ever had. I plan on taking her again for A&P. You are going to have to study a lot, and read the chapters. Make use of the TA's and the SI. Whiting is definitely there for you. You will not walk out of her class not knowing anything.

Best prof I have ever had, but be expected to put in some WORK. Most high maintenance class I have ever taken with hours of studying a week. Really knows her stuff and really wants to see her students succeed and learn. Tests are hard but hard work will get you an A. Fast paced so read chapters and study often so you don't fall behind.

Dr. Whiting is one of the most genuine person and professor I have ever met. She seriously cares about her students. I made an A in 2120 and a B for 2130. I worked for it! I was also a TA for her which was really fun! A and P is so awesome if you study!

Doc is THE best professor I have ever had. The amount of work is crazy but as long as you put in time (A lot of it) into studying you will do well. She is big on effort. If you don't understand something on a quiz, try and she will give you a good amount of points. Take advantage of all the resources that are provided. This class will be your life!

This was the hardest class I have ever taken. However, Dr. Whiting is one of the most passionate teachers I have EVER met. This class is not for the faint hearted. Understanding and will adapt to your class's performance. TA's are available and will do anything for you. Record her lectures, promise me. Took it full summer session, hardest 8 weeks.

Dr. Whiting is an amazing professor and an amazing person. She really cares for what she is teaching and cares for every one of her students. She helps you as much as she can. There are 4 tests and the final. She drops the lowest test grade and out of the remaining 3 tests, the final replaces the lowest. The homework credit on Mastering helps a lot

This woman.... IS AMAZING!!! She lectures were the best and she is easy to keep up with. She does not mind going back to review over things. She is the sweetest teacher you will ever meet! Her class is tough but you will leave that class knowing a lot instead of forgetting.

Amazing professor. You can go from being a Biology-ignorant, incompetent slob into a proficient master of A&P in one summer if you take Whiting. You will work your butt off. Her style is fast, hard, and heavy, but you will LEARN.

Doc is the best professor I have ever had. I can guarantee that you will LEARN the material in this class and you will enjoy it! You will work your butt off, but what you gain from this class will stick with you. I would take her a million times over if I could. I made an hour commute every day just to take her class because she is worth it!

Doc is amazing! This was by far the hardest class I have ever taken, but she never hesitates to answer any questions, and will explain the material in great detail in ways that are easy to comprehend. She recognizes students who put in the effort. You will never not have something to do. If you stay focused and work hard, you can achieve an A!

She is very, very caring and humble about her students. Anatomy and Physiology is very tough but she will find areas you excel in and areas you need help in and take the time to figure out what is best for you. Her lectures are amazing and her skill and intelligence is unreal. She is tough but she is exceptional. Defintley recommend!

Dr. Whiting is the best professor Ive ever had. Her lectures are amazing and she incorporates diagrams for difficult concepts. Youre graded mostly on hw, 3-4 check offs, 4 mini exams, a final, and a lab final. If you study the material she assigns youll do fine. Everything she taught in 2120 I retained into her 2130 class. Shes the best!!

Doc is so nice and such a sweet teacher and I actually learned something after taking her class. However, be prepared to study like you've never studied in your life because she will want you to know every detail that was said in her lectures.

Caring professor. This is not an easy course, so if you want to get an A in class, you should spend two hours studying this subject every day. Lecture is recorded online and also meets in person. She hands out a study guide before every exam, which is really helpful and will be on the test. I highly recommend this professor!

Dr Whiting is an amazing A&P instructor! I have done her A&P 1 and 2 and would suggest them both with her! She only had the tests on what we had gone over in person and in prepared videos so I knew what was expected. I got As in both of her classes and while it was hard she supported us well and prepared us for every grade.

If you have a passion for learning- or you want to gain a passion- Dr. Whiting is for you. You will be drinking from a firehose, but, Doc makes somehow makes it fun. This is a challenging course, but you will be more than prepared for every exam you take, so long as you put the work in. You will feel supported and capable leaving her classroom.

Professor Whiting is an amazing professor. The class is definitely tough, but she will do everything she can to help you succeed. I was struggling at the beginning, and she gave me so many chances to improve and bring my grade up. She's supportive, understanding, and gives multiple opportunities to fix your mistakes. GOOD for nursing/med school.

Doc is well respected amongst her students, and she cares about her students, but her tests were extremely hard. I received a 'C' in this class, but tried retaking it with her to get a 'B', which was so difficult that I had to withdraw. I might take A&P 2 with another professor. If you decide to take her course, please do so at your own discretion.
