Probably the best professor I've had at ECU so far. She is very willing to help you if you have trouble. I am poor at math, but thanks to her wonderful teaching I made a B. She will make you work, but it all pays off in the end. I highly recommend her

She seems willing to help with questions but she always picks problems for tests that have the one exception to whatever common rule. I'm very good with the visual and theoretical parts of math but she doesn't give much partial credit for simple mistakes.

wonderful teacher, very nice and helpful. not much extra credit opportunities but we will have about 15 quizzes and 5 test grades so you have plenty of time to bring your grade up if you get slack.

She is a very good teacher. Explains things numerous times and interacts with the students. Makes the classroom feel like high school, which is ohh so missed. Quizes and tests are not that easy but she will always take office time to help you.

Mrs.Wilkerson is an excellent teacher. She always goes over homework if you need help and if you have questions about a problem she will explain until you understand. She makes sure that everyone in the class understands the concepts that we are learning and she is really nice.

She is the best Math teacher at ECU. She knows how to teach and makes class fun with her rhymns and cheers for learning formulas. She is like that fun, happy teacher you had in high school the one that inspires others to teach. Because of her I will be teaching math when I graduate.

ADV:clear,gives you test question examples in course packet,gets you up in the morning with her excitement,gives candy after tests. DISADV:reminds me of middle school teach

Anyone who says that the quizzes are hard then you must of slept in class or didnt take any notes.She is SO nice and sweet. She is fun, spunky, energetic, always smiling, and even a little TOO available for help. If you want an easy A, GO TO CLASS and do the homework. I'm an overachiever, so i did extra work, but it was completely unnecessary. She totally makes a 9 AM class come alive. Wonderful teacher!

She's probibly the best math teacher you'll ever know. She explains things better with understanding and clarity, but tends to move fast to stick with her schedule, which can be frustrating at times. I recommend her, but if you're not an 8am person, please don't hurt yourself.

She is really really sweet. She teaches like a high school teacher. Very helpful and gives you help over e-mail. There are online quizzes but she gives them about 2 weeks to a month ahead of time. They are easy and you can take them over and over until you get a 100. Tests are ok.

I hate math - but Mrs. Wilkerson makes the headaches from doing math go away. All of her ewxams are show-work only until the final 2 exams, then they are M.C. - I prob. won't get a good grade - but that's simply bc I'm not a good math student - I make small mistakes that make the whole problem wrong...Good teacher - very enthusiastic!

THE BEST ALGEBRA 1065 TEACHER THAT ECU HAS. Very nice teacher that breaks down problems for you perfectly so you can understand. If I didn't have Mrs. W for a teacher I would have failed. The best hands down.

Mrs. Wilkerson is a great teacher. She is very enthusiastic about teaching, and very helpful if you don't understand the work. I actually wanted to come to class. I have always stuggled with math but I did great in here because she helps me understand it so well. Test/Quizzes are easy if you study and pay attention.

I have only been to a couple of her classes, but she is a GREAT teacher. She gives you her office number and her home phone number and she is more than willing for you to call her if you need the help. The only bad thing is the My Math Lab questions. If i had the chance, I would def take this class.

Easy class especially for someone who has taken math above Alg. 2 in high school. Don't let the final get you...it's harder than the class tests. Homework is online; there is an occasional quiz. Mrs. Wilkerson is so sweet and energetic...take her in the morning!

She is a good teacher. You HAVE to meet her halfway though. She offers plenty of review sessions and help, but you really do have to go out of your way. For non-math people like myself, (I am an English major)the material is difficult. Overall, I give her a 9/10.

One of hte most helpful teachers I have ever had. Class was easy for me since I did most of it in high school but she made everything energetic and wanted you to succcceed. Drops lowest quiz grade and three homeworks. Do the homeworks on MML!

She is such a sweet lady! If you aren't the best at math, she is the best choice for her teaching methods and fun, quirky lessons. She'll make up songs and other ways to help you remember formulas. If you're great at math and are taking this for the easy A, you'll probably go a bit crazy in this class because her lessons aren't challenging enough.

She is WONDERFUL! She can keep you awake and focused during an 8am class thats for sure. explains things so you can't forget them. Test are not multiple choice but she does give great for work so if you get the wrong answer the whole questions not wrong. I loved her class. Would recommend her to everyone. :)

If you are really bad at math and like to be talked to like you are a middle schooler then she is great. But I however did not like her. She wastes a lot of time in class by just rambling and she makes horrible facial expressions that drive me crazy. She also claps her hands at you like you are a dog and she makes you sing. We are in college woman!

This is the worst class at the university because of how it is taught. That being said Mrs. Wilkerson is as good as it gets. No offense to her but she is like the sweet grandma to each of her students and is always there for you and wants the best for everyone. I celebrated the last time i saw her but not because of her but the dreadful math cave!
