Horrible, doesn't know how to teach. Is really rude and disrespectful to students and gets annoyed when students ask questions. Thinks she super great at explaining but in reality she stinks. Wouldn't ever take her again and recommend not taking her. She makes you want to pull you hair out.

This class if very confusing. She does not really teach. She has a huge group project that is super confusing and the majority of your grade. However, all her tests are online but you need to actually read the chapter to pass them. Thats the only easy part of her class (i have been able to get all As on them). Wouldn't recommend.

So rude to students and not helpful what so ever. There is one group project that is worth a large portion of your grade. Very confusing in her directions/lectures. Most of the work is outside of class, however attendance is mandatory. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

She is not very clear about what she expects from the assignments. She is rude to students and does not give good feedback on projects. My class was a hybrid and she did not teach much. There were a few lectures, but we were not tested on them. Otherwise, we just read the book and take quizzes online. At least the quizzes are easy and open book.

Worst professor I had this semester. Doesn't make sense and doesn't teach anything in class. Basically you read the chapter and every Friday take an online quiz on it (which is nice since it is open book). Assignments are pretty easy, but beware of the group project, it is a nightmare. She is an okay person, but would never take again.

Extremely confusing, poorly put together group project. Lectures are worthless to attend. You must read the book thoroughly if you want to pass the weekly online quizzes, because she doesn't spend time in class going over it. She spends lecture time explaining the semester's project, the grade of which is based hugely on format, instead of content.

This professor is all over the place. She is very unorganized both online and in person and expects way too much from her students. There was way more work to be done than should be in a 300 level course. She also makes her views clear and is not very nice to those who disagree. I would not take her again, and I would not recommend her.

I actually love Catya. People like to give her a hard time, but if you show up to class and participate there's nothing wrong with her. She is very passionate about what she does and if you are willing to put in the work, she is more than happy to help you.

Could not recommend a professor less. She is unorganized, rude and disrespectful to students, and a total control freak. She will stop the entire class and call someone out if she suspects they're not doing class-related work and 90% of the time, they're doing nothing wrong. I often leave class more confused than when I come in.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER. Lectures are irrelevant to the test so don't bother paying attention. Assignments are very disorganized and she wants you to be very specific. Extremely rude and condescending. Avoid her at all costs, but if you are stuck with her, just get the assignments done early to stay on top of things.

Honestly, not bad... not GREAT... but not bad either! She's a little crazy, but she told us that she reorganized her curriculum this semester and it feels very fair. Take advantage of your book, it's a lot to read but well written, and always show up to class for interteach days! Other than that, class isn't that important as most points are online

Catya is not a bad person, she's just super unorganized so if you like structure and can't stand it when professors are all over the place, I wouldn't take her. Her grading and assignments, however; are not bad, very do-able and she's also very nice and is willing to give accommodation if and when needed. Just make sure you speak with her about it.

Katya was a decent professor. All of her tests, including the final, were online so they were open book making them relatively easy. Going to class is irrelevant because she talks about her opinion and not content but showing up is extra credit. There is a lot of reading and a few projects but overall she is a good professor.

Dr. K is very smart and all the topics she talks about are interesting, however they aren't related to the class. Most people don't bother taking notes in class because it is all unrelated to our exams and assignments. All assignments are online.
