She is a really awesome teacher. She talks with you and not at you. If you participate you will be successful in the class. Do the readings, they are acutally interesting. She isn't big on tests and quizzes. If you do have a midterm and final she prepares you well for it. AWESOME AWESOME teacher.

Great teacher. She beleives what she teaches & it shows. She is easy but you learn a lot. No tests but a lot of interesting readings. Changed my perspective about a lot and I learned a lot. Eye opening class. Totally reconmend.

OK. This teacher DOES believe in quizzes and tests, especially to verify attendance. The quizzes are easy... if you READ. I LOVED this teacher. I just want to set it straight. She genuinely cares about her students and of course women. Offers a lot of EASY extra credit opportunities. A MUST TO TAKE!

Class is discussion base, but no participation was required. Quizzes (few) were easy. Group project (could have been done by one person), and 2 page write-up. There was no final exam, but a 6 page research paper is due then. She is thought provoking, and isn't too preachy with ideas. If you write well, this class should not be hard.

Very nice person. Was a fairly easy class with minimal work. Discussion based, however not counted towards grade. Only one paper a book discussion midterm and final and few pop quizzes. Very easy. I enjoyed the class a lot. Very passionate about her work. Class is worth taking!!

Very intelligent, charming, and funny! Come to her class with an open mind, do the readings and you'll be fine. She also offers a lot of extra credit points. Loved her class!

Cecili is a great teacher! Yes, it is very interesting but it is as easy as you want it to be. This class is NOT for slackers so if you do the work you should be fine. Offers up to one grade of extra credit so take it up whenever possible. Participate and you will learn a lot more than you thought you would. Attendance DOES count!!!

Good teacher really easy class. All we did was talk in ciricles about the readings and issues. There were some random quizzes, nothing too important, and one article review as well as a mid-term and final. Super Easy.

Cecili is one of those must-take teachers who's class you need to experience before you graduate. Very passionate about the subject. This class changed my life.

Opens your eyes to lots of things you never expected! easy class gives lots of extra credit, do the reading and discuss and you'll do find. 2 papers, midterm and final thats all. great prof def take her class!

Very interesting class. Good class discussions and lectures. DO THE READINGS! They are extremely long and difficult, but you need them to pass the quizzes and tests. A few quizzes, one paper, one presentation, midterm, and final. Doesn't like testing kids so she's pretty lenient. Very cool professor.

Fair and approachable - must do readings (she puts them all in one reader) - outstanding at facilitating thought provoking class discussions w/o pushing any agenda - a few minor quizzes, no tests, one group project & a final paper - STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

This class was awesome, def. one of my favorites. She leads great class discussions although sometimes i would have preferred if more people participated. Her readings are challenging, but i learned a lot. This class changed my mindset on a lot of things, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.

First of all, she is HOT. 2nd, she's smart and very accomodating. 3rd, she's HOT!

Cecili is a great teacher. She is so passionate! If you're a women's studies major, you DEFINITELY want to take this class! She gives really good feedback, too! She is always there if you need help, or even just want to discuss the current political climate in the world. :)

She knows her topic really well. We had weekly readings and posts on a discussion board instead of quizes. Group Sex trafficking project one research paper and one anaylsis on a reading article. You could miss class but you'd miss out on the theoretical understanding of feminism. Take this class!

SUPER EASY CLASS!!!! It's very interesting and she is super easy going!!!! You do weekly summaries on article in the book(which are interesting and easy) online and there are extra credit opportunities. Midterm was super easy and Final was just like the midterm.

I Absolutely Love her. She is an Amazing professor. Really Passionate & knowledgable! The class was not necessarily easy,, I mean you can get a good grade but in return you have to sit through some hard cold truths about society and the world of feminism. I thoroughly enjoyed this class..She's amazing!

She is the most amazing professor. I look forward to her class and it is one of my favorites. She makes it entertaining and interacts with you like shes a friend and a real person. Weekly summaries online and journal that you have to keep up with. Super interesting. Highly recommend because you won't regret it. :)

She is super easy going. I actually look forward to her class because of her attitude about the subject matter. The class isn't hard, you are expected to do the assigned reading, but it's not too bad.

She is really Helpful, Really clear as to what it takes to pass the class. Mandatory to write in a journal. Also she'd pretty hot, which is what makes motivates me to go to class.

My favorite professor by far! She is passionate about gender equality and every lecture led to en eye-opening discussion. Her classroom becomes an emotional safe place for students to share feelings and personal experiences. Make sure you keep up your notebook curing the semester and you won't have to take the final. Love Chadwick & she's gorgeous!

This course was very interesting. The professor just makes the class go fast because she is very into the topics. There is a lot of reading a reading responses but the tests are fairly simple if you paid attention.

This is the best professor I have ever had in my college experience! She is adorable and is so passionate about feminism. Even if you don't need this class take it, Cecili will change your life!

I LOVED this class. Shes so passionate about feminism and she's not a boring professor at all. There is a lot to read and journal entries are 30% of the grade but the tests were easty. I'm taking her sex work class next semester. She's one professor you don't want to miss out on!!

Professor Chadwick is an extremely intelligent and passionate lecturer. She really knows her stuff and loves to help those who don't. Her class is simple and straight to the point. It also helps that she's a sight for sore eyes. Regardless, her class is awesome and I do recommend it. I wish more Professors were like her.

Learned a lot in this class. Prof is funny and cute. Easy class, pretty much you read your book before class and then just talk about the readings or whatever during class. Thought I was going to be lynched n the class for being a guy but it wasn't that bad. Lot of girls broke up with their bf, so idk don't take class with your girl haha.

Easy class if you READ the assigned sections, and are open minded. Tip for men - in class always take a stance of a feminist (usually speaking as little as possible and disagreeing with bad things men have done in the past/still do today) This class will open your eyes to the wonderful world of feminism. Chadwick is an incredible professor!!!!!!

Professor Chadwick is thus far one of my favorite professors at CSUSM. She is extremely knowledgeable in many aspects of our culture. She only gives out a midterm and a final which are extremely easy if you review. I will be minoring in women studies because of her passion. Thank you ! Definitely recommend her class.

TAKE CLASS. She is passionate and the classes are fun, she is willing to help you understand. I really like her however, there have been 2 times she's made me want to cry. Once i read the wrong sections and lost 5 CT points which i did not think was fair. 2nd she singled me out for a game when i said someone broke a rule. Totally uncalled for.

She's an awesome lady. Extremely intelligent and passionate about her subject, plus she makes the class very interesting. There are a lot of readings you have to do, but the class discussions are so worth it. It's not hard to do well, she has a very clear list of requirements, and participation matters! Overall great experience :)

LOVED her class! Her lectures are enjoyable and easy to sit through because she is so energetic. She is always in a good mood and really funny. Class was easy, had to go and ask 2 questions per semester, and write in a journal about readings she assigns. Midterm is exactly like the final! 25 questions.. shes great.

You have a journal and you respond to readings in it. You pay attention and you will get a good grade. Memorizing terms is key and just show up to class. You will have a midterm and a final (pretty easy stuff).

Prof Chadwick is the best! Two books are needed. You also need a journal where you will write down notes and one question for all of the readings. She assigns two easy, two page essays. There is a midterm and final & the answers are given to you in a lecture prior to the exam. Class is easy if you put the effort into it!

Chadwick is an amazing professor. The semester consists of reading books and then discussing them in class. Very insightful stuff and definitely changed how I see the world. There's 5 pop quizzes so make sure you go to lecture, but if you miss one you'll be fine. She offers extra credit. Fun class to go to!

Journal entry for every reading she assigns. Amazing lectures, plus no big homework assignments. You will need to have one question for each journal entry because she will call on you 2 times so you can say your question. Journal has the most worth. Reading is essential, very interesting & if you read you will understand the lecture.

One of best Professors at CSUSM, an over priced, over rated, sorry ass excuse for an educational system. We need our Professors. We don't need the structure that houses them. Professor Chadwick was born to teach. Ten stars out of five stars. God bless Professor Chadwick.

Professor Chadwick is the best professor I have had here at CSUSM! Highly recommend. She is absolutely amazing and intriguing, her lectures are so good and never boring! If you have a chance to take this class, TAKE IT WITH CHADWICK. She makes the material so relatable and fun to learn about. I looked forward to going to her class each week!

Loved the discussions we had in class! Pop quizzes were easy. I learned a lot of reproductive rights in this class. Professor Chadwick is an awesome professor.

I must be honest, I was initially apprehensive about this class. Prof possesses lots of star quality & students worship her. I wasn't sure how I felt about asserting the oppression of women; I felt doing so was contributing to the gender divide. I was wrong. This is what real education is all about. Take with an open mind and open heart. Grateful!

The best professor I've ever encountered at CSUSM. Her personal stories as well as her outlook on the world is inspiring and eye opening. No matter what time her class is at, you won't want to skip. She's incredible!

She is extremely passionate and amazing professor. You will learn so much she is extremely knowledgeable. I have taken her for 4 classes and just continue to learn more. I added a women studies major after taken her classes. Her lectures are extremely interesting. She really wants you to learn more and discuss in class.

Enjoyed going to class. She talks about what's actually happening in the world. Great lectures. Not much work, just reading and summarizing in a journal turned in at the end of the semester. No textbook, just 2 smaller books. Professor Chadwick is one of the best professors I've had at CSUSM. Love her!

Professor Chadwick is super nice. She was my favorite professor and she is very brilliant in women's history. I loved her. If you're looking for a fairly easy class WMST 101 is pretty easy, but I actually learned so much new stuff with her. She's an amazing teacher!

She is very passionate about her class and I found her lectures to be very inspirational. I learned a lot in this class. Her lectures are very traditional, so you need to listen carefully. Not very much work and final is short and easy.

I absolutely loved taking this class with Prof. Chadwick! She is funny, very intelligent, and I really enjoyed listening to her lectures. Attendance wasn't mandatory for this class, but I really suggest to always show up, as the lectures help for the final. Also, don't slack on the weekly readings & online forums and you should be able to pass.

Okay, yes Professor Chadwick is very beautiful, but I mean that doesn't define her duh. Her class was super easy. Just show up. You do have to write weekly journal entries and there are two papers due at the end of the semester. Didn't learn anything, although a lot of topics that we covered were borderline offensive/touchy ie abortion.

She is hands-down one of the best professors I've had. Tells you information while letting you decide your view-point. There are reading responses (2-3 pages) to write every few weeks and one final paper. No tests. Pop quizzes on reading. Must have questions to bring and MUST PARTICIPATE.

Loved her! Was hesitant at first but after the first few classes you get into the swing of things and know what is expected and go with it! If you pay attention and do the reading/writing assignments you will pass. She gives great feedback too on papers. Would take again.

Cecili was such a great professor. She really cares about her students and only wants the best for them. She is very inspirational and I would encourage anyone who takes the class to participate in class discussions because it will definitely enhance your learning experience. I would encourage anyone to take Cecili because she is funny and really cares for her students. The assignments she assigns aren't difficult and even though there is weekly readings it isn't anything one could not handle. You can tell she loves what she does and it only enhanced my learning experience.

I took the Sex Work class a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Professor Chadwick is a great teacher. Ironically I worked at an adult bookstore and had an edge in some of the subject matter, i.e. the adult industry. Fun class would recommend to anyone....

Cecili is my favorite professor! All lectures were simply class discussions that involve the readings and real world situations. You gain and incredible amount of perspective and I actually was upset when I had to skip a class. Reading assignments are very easy and the midterm and final take about 5 minutes to complete. Amazing class!

I can definitely say she changed my perspective on a lot of things in life. Just listening when she talks help you learn so much and she loves class discussions. Textbooks are very important, she genuinely wants you to learn. It is an easy class but can be difficult if you make it. Theres a weekly journal, paper, midterm and final.

I loved her so much!! She not only taught me about feminism but changed my perspective on a lot of things and made me realize things about myself. Easy class, show up and do the journals, participate, and you'll be fine. We just talked about the material in class and mainly got to know eachother and her. Loved!!

No textbook but you have to read 3 books the Essential Feminist Reader, The Second Sex, and Heartbroken. You must write a JOURNAL for each section she assigns and come up with Discussion Questions. Come Prepared and Read the books to participate in Class Discussions. Grade consist of 2 Discussion Qs, Journal, MIdterm, Final, Final Reflection. Easy

LOVE LOVE LOVE Professor Chadwick! She doesn't do boring powerpoint lectures, instead it is more of an open discussion. She loves class participation so definitely come prepared. Lots of reading for this class but the material is very interesting and she relates it to you. Class is not mandatory but you want to go because you'll love her that much!

She is very specific with what she expects. As long as you do the readings and forum posts/Q&As you will get a passing grade. There is a lot of reading but the summaries you have to write are not too long.

Cecili was by far one of my favorite professors at cal state. She is so beautiful and so passionate. I love the dialogues we had every class. Even though she had strong opinions she always listened to opposing ideas. Love her and would take her class 50 more times. She tells you exactly what she wants on tests!

SHE IS AMAZING! Makes every lecture super fun and relatable. Does not assign papers but when she does she expects your best work. The only homework is the journals. That basically is your entire grade so do it for every class and you will pass with an A. She randomly signs journals which count as a grade also. I would take her again if I could

One of the best CSUSM professors. She's very passionate about what she teaches. Relatable and understanding. No tests or papers, but you have to do journal entries and online forums. My advice is to always do your work on time because she doesn't take late work or give out extra credit (expected of a college professor anyway). A fun class overall.

Here's why women's studies ruined my life. Professor Chadwick is an amazing professor & she opened my eyes to the world we live in (which it sucks). The class is mainly a discussion of the readings we do. Which, yes, there are a lot of readings but they're very interesting. I'm actually going to take her 205 class next semester and I'm so excited!

Professor Chadwick is the best professor I have had at Cal State. She doesn't require attendance but you will want to show up because her class is that good. This class and her teaching has completely changed the way I view myself and the world, would definitely recommend!!

She is a great prof, she uses a lot of her lectures and brings the students opinions into them. Great conversations are made in this class, definitely recommend. Journal is mandatory for each reading, easy to get behind so keep up on the reading. Tests are easy, she tells you exactly what you need. PAY ATTENTION IN LECTURE

SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PROFESSOR YOU WILL EVER HAVE! I did not receive an A in this class due to my own faults but there is a lot of reading and weekly online assignments that you have to keep up with! Besides that every class of hers is amazing and you will leave with knowledge you really need in the real world. Love her so much wish!!

Chadwick defies expectations about typical white woman teaching her worldview. She can tell if you care about the subject, and regards you in kind. Just show up, be respectful, and put in effort. MINIMAL EFFORT REQUIRED but you'll want to participate. Chadwick cares about explaining feminist theories and how they affect us in the world. LOVED CLASS

Professor Chadwick is the most kind-hearted, caring, and awesome professor I have ever had. I have taken two of her courses and have yet to enjoy a class as much as I have hers. She is extremely intelligent and really cares about the subject almost as much as she cares about her students.

Chadwick is so chill and funny! Took this class as a GE, but I would honestly take another one of her classes because she makes the topic so interesting. We watched Beyonce's Lemonade in class and discussed the symbolism in detail - it was great. Besides lectures, there's online discussion forums and a writing journal that she checks periodically

Professor Chadwick is articulate, inspiring and insightful. She does an excellent job engaging with students and giving exposure to WMST. The coursework is challenging and rewarding. She is an excellent professor and I would recommend her to anyone who enjoys learning and wants to be pushed academically.

She is seriously the best!!! She seems so passionate about this topic and makes the course super interesting. This class was super easy but I learned a lot at the same time and she is very understanding. I would definitely take one of her classes again in a heart beat.

What a great professor! This was my 3rd class with her, and I love her and her teaching style just the same. Her grading criteria is very clear, but she is very easy to contact if you're having any issues. One big paper at the end along with a course reflection paper. Weekly discussion forums and informative reading. Take this amazing professor!!

For being a fully asynchronous class, I learned a lot. This class is very heavy on the reading, but if you manage your time well it's doable. One homework assignment and one forum post per week, 3 exams and a final. Chadwick is a great prof, very understanding and responds to emails super quickly! If you need help, ASK HER!
