Professor Jennings was a trip! His humor made lectures fun, and although the course is mandatory and the material is dull, he manages to makes it fun!

Professor Jennings can be very firm and direct, but he is fair and reasonable. An excellent instructor !

Good teacher

Coming into this course I expected very little to know actual work and just lecture after lecture. Professor Jennings ended up making me work for a good grade, but as a result I learned substantially more than I had predicted I would.

Tough but willing to help. Knowledgeable and engaging. He is a great communicator.

Prof Jennings was very informative and his communication skills are exceptional. He engages the class in multiple different ways, somtimes his class ends before you really want it to. There is however one con with professor Jennings, he is strict and by-the-book; which is actually his job.

He's super easy. Extra credit for perfect attendance. Don't do your assignments in 10 minutes and you'll most likely get a 100. He's a pretty easy grader as long as you've made it clear you aren't half-assing it. Lectures were chill.

Lots of homework but easy A if you do it all and turn it in on time. He does NOT accept any late work for any reason.

Professor Jennings is a great professor! Attendance in his classes is incredibly important because if you miss a class it will affect your grade. No late work is accepted so turn in your homework on time!Professor Jennings is always willing to help his students and help them succeed! Professor Jennings is very professional, but still friendly. Participation is key in his class. Everything is submitted online and is very easy to access. If you come to class and follow the syllabus, you'll be good to go. The most important thing is to do your homework.

He is great. He made this class interesting, enjoyable and worth coming to. I definitely thought that this course was going to be a waste of my time and VA benefits, but it was the exact opposite. Cool professor, was funny and really energetic in his lectures, definitely kept me awake while other teachers could not. One time I turned in an assignment in the wrong folder and it was totally my fault. Professor Jennings decided to grade it anyways without penalizing me for submitting the wrong assignment in the wrong folder. Awesome professor!

The in class portion is easy, but you will have to do a whole lot of out of class assignments that take a lot of time out of your day

I really enjoyed taking SDV100 with professor Jennings. He has a great sense of humor and is wonderful explaining the classes. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and homework in this class. It is pretty easy to obtain an A in this class as long as you complete all the homework on time. You won't regret taking this class with professor Jennings.

Professor Jennings is a dedicated and committed teacher. He clearly cares about his students and gives them every opportunity to succeed in his class. Read his instructions, do the work, ask questions and you will do well in his class.

I took Professor Jenning's online 8-week course. There are assignments & discussion boards due every week which are easy but time consuming. He provides a rubric for every assignment so you know what he expects. However, the final was completed with a lockdown browser and kinda hard. But he is very nice and grades assignments within two weeks.

Took professor Jennings as a 7 week online course. Very easy to understand material and makes very clear from the get go what is expected from you. He does offer extra credit at the end of the course which was much needed to keep me at an A. Fair warning, the final exam is through a lockdown browser and supervised via webcam.

Hands down the best SDV Professor Nova has. I would recommend taking Mr. Jennings for any other courses he teaches, as he is very easy to reach outside of class, and gives a manageable workload, and also gives out many opportunities for extra credit as he does not accept ANY work past the due date. Very professional and engaging professor!

The professor runs a tight ship, but the work is manageable. Engaging lectures, clear expectations, and plenty of extra credit help balance the difficulty. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for study prep.

Very organized and very communicative; you know what you have to do and when you have to do it by without any confusion. There's a good amount of reading but it's just to help you complete the quizzes. The final exam is pretty much a culmination of the quizzes so as long as you did the readings/ activities (which aren't that many) you'll be fine.

Very glad he was my professor. He seemed to genuinely care about his students and make sure they pass. As long as you put in effort, you will pass.

I took his 7-week class over the summer. He sends out weekly announcements clearly stating what to do, and all the assignments were easy and straightforward just make sure you get them in on time other than that there's nothing else to worry about the class is an easy A with the exam even being open note. Great professor definitely recommend.

Professor Jennings is very communicative in grading, he provides templates and rubrics on what he's looking for. I appreciate that he leaves a comment on every thing he grades. He does not accept late work BUT he does do extra credit opportunities and his SDV class is not assignment heavy. overall i would definitely recommend taking him again.

The course and the teacher was great. I took his online class and it was really organized and he offered A LOT of extra credit, so definitely take his class if you want a guaranteed A. He also did announcements pretty often to keep everyone updated.
