I took this class this summer and the teacher was GREAT!!! very funny, cares about what student's learn. She uses a lot of real life scenarios with reading to help us understand. you do use the textbook but not as much. Before every stories she has you watch a small video to understand what your reading. No complaints.. take her she's cool!!!

You have to work for your grade, but she absolutely helps you. I couldn't meet her during her regular office hours and she went out of her way to stay late for me. Definitely an awesome teacher.

Professor Winchester Reading 011 is a great class. i had two classes with her. She is kind,funny, overall great. She treats you like a college student. She gives test a quizzes but if you study for them you will past her class. I would take her again in a heart beat. Shes just that awesome.

I just finished taking Professor Winchester over the summer. She is pretty awesome. The class was hard, but it was a four week course. She helps you as much as she can, and she makes class interesting. We watched some crazy videos and films that were related to the lessons. All in all, a pretty great class.

AMAAING! She is a tough grader, but she is totally worth it. Don't think you can hand assignments in late, because she won't take them. She definitely gets you ready for the real world, and makes you a better writer. I love her, and I would take her again in a heartbeat.

This class is a great introduction to college level English. Everything was digital so we didnt have to buy an expensive book or wookbook. There is alot of reading, writing and journaling. The great thing is that you receive quality feedback to help you along. Professor is also very accessible and helpful. Apply what you learn and you will do well.

We are doing a mental health unit in class, and it has been an eyeopening experience for me. I don't feel so alone now, because I have anxiety. Winchester made me feel completely comfortable and even taught out class some breathing meditations. All in all, I would talk her again in a heartbeat.

She gives a lot of feedback but that is because she explains what to do and not to do. Listen and do the work, you will be amazed at the change in your writing.

Winchester puts up with a lot of garbage excuses and tudes from kids in class. But she always puts her students first. I don't think most students get that college is not like high school. Anyway, Winchester is definitely a great find at MCC especially in the English department.

I am taking Professor Winchester now online for 122. Even though the class just started, I can already tell I am going to love this class. She is positive and is fast responding when I message her and the class is organized and has detailed instructions. (Finally MCC!) So far I love the topic of mental health and the readings are great.

Very nice and super funny. She will give you very specific and detailed feedback on essay prompts so don't be afraid to ask questions. It's a pretty easy A and it's very light on homework. She will ask you to read an article every week and write a 500 word paragraph on it every week which can get annoying

She makes you work for your grade, but she is fair and helps you along the way. She breaks up your paper grades into different assignment points. But if you miss a few of the assignments you won't do well so DO THEM! Listen to her feedback and ask for help. She is the best teacher!

Honestly this class was the hardest thing I have ever done. I hated English but Winchester helped me feel more confident. She let us decide the focus of each paper, but we had guidelines to follow. She made me think and let me know it was okay to make mistakes as long as I learned from them. You cannot get away with being lazy. She will help you.

I am taking Winchester for World Myth and Lit. If you want to learn interesting information, take this class. We just read about the ancient Mayans, and the class discussion was awesome. She is really funny, and she makes the difficult stuff easier to understand. This class definitely makes you think outside the box.

Professor Winchester is a great teacher. I have her for 122: zombies and half our class doesn't even talk. I can tell that she wishes more people would participate. However, she is a great teacher, and it is obvious that she is passionate about what she teaches and cares about her students. If you want to stretch your brain, take her zombie class.

I have Winchester for a face to face class, but due to COVID-19, our class was forced to online learning. She has been flexible and even sends us video updates and tips on what to do for our assignments. Considering that our school moved to online in such short notice, she's been really helpful in making sure our class stays on top of everything.

DO NOT TAKE WITH FOUR OTHER CLASSES. if you have a lighter schedule, dedicate your time and attention to their class. multiple assignments will be due on the same day, and you can find yourself often swamped with work. if you have ADHD, depression or are in a bad home enviroment, watch out. their class requires more attention than any other classes

Winchester is the most caring professor I have ever had. I have been going through a lot of terrible things this semester and missed assignments and class. Winchester was understanding and helped me find a therapist and housing and has worked with me to get through my assignments. Teachers like them are rare. Just communicate, they will listen.

I have never had a teach give lesson options to the class before. If Winchester knows we are stressed out they sometimes give us the option to decide how the class will run. Winchester asks us for our opinion about things that will effect the class, so I feel like my opinion actually matters. No teacher ever does that.

They treat students like equals and value our time. They have a great extension policy and if enough ppl ask for it they don't mind reworking the schedule to better fit us. Can go on tangents but very down to earth and caring. Safe space of LGBTQIA+/POC. But will also push you/gives lots of assignments that require effort.

I had Winchester for Mythology. I really liked how they had myth from all over the world not just Greece and Roman. Winchester's video lectures were interesting, and their feedback on assignments was very helpful. Definitely not an easy A, but worth taking if you like mythology and history.

Winchester is the best professor i have ever had. My writing greatly improved after I took their class; I actually felt like I was learning. They are also easy to talk to and willing to help you. I recommend anyone take Winchester if they can.

Winchester has picked great myths to read, and they always provide thorough feedback. When they can't reply in the discussion threads, they always provide feedback in the grading comments. I also enjoyed the historical lectures because it made understanding the myths easier.

Compared to my other prof. in Social Sciences (who is just straight up cruel), Winchester is a breath of fresh air & is very motivating! 10/10 would take again.

Took their class online and they provide many helpful teaching materials such as weekly video lectures, additional supportive materials, and is very open to emails and even zoom calls for more help. Generous grader and offer late turn-in opportunities.

Winchester is very understanding, but no pushover. If you take their feedback and complete your assignments with effort, then you will pass. At first the class seemed hard but then things started to become easier. Highly recommend.

Good and understanding professor, as long as you communicate. They are so down to earth, and our class would get sidetracked talking about other topics. If I could, I would take another course with them. Strict with AI, so be careful, but still understanding. I always got amazing feedback on my rough drafts and any assignment I would submit.

Winchester is the first teacher Ive had that talks to us like adults. I have mad respect. There are two papers in the class, but they make it manageable by splitting the work up. Honestly, aside from working in groups sometimesthe class is pretty cool
