Ms. Dangerfield is an excellent speech instructor. She is such a fun down to earth person. She is not afraid to let you see her for her.

Fun and easy class. She jokes with the class a lot and it is more fun if you joke back. Be willing to make fun of yourself. She can be moody and take it out on the wrong people but overall very sweet disposition. She is a little biased cause some people got grades that they definitely did not deserve but whatever! You like never even open the book.

Mrs. Dangerfield-Thompson is a very good instructor. Before taking this class, I was really dreading it, but I actually enjoyed most of it. I learned not to be so nervous getting up in front of people and talking. Although I still don't like it.

Very Nice, She tends to ramble and waste a lot of class time, but she does make you do your speeches and if you follow instructions and do somewhat of a good job you will get a good grade.

LOVE Mrs. Dangerfield! The class was held at a good pace. At the end of ten weeks we were a fun, dysfunctional family. I recommend her to everyone needing a speech class.

Mrs. Dangerfield was the greatest. Don't take a Speech class from anyone else. If her class is full, get an override or wait for the next semester. Take her class and you will agree that she is the only option for this course. I wish she taught other classes. Great, great, great professor. I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

Can I just say Ms. Dangerfield is an awesome teacher. She gives you real advice, not just theory, to improve. You get an outline framework that makes speech writing simple. If you just listen, you can tell what you need to do (open with your attention getter first, for example). Her class is my favorite to attend.

She is a great teacher! I had her for speech & he realy makes you feel comfortable when having to present infront of a crowd! She is clear on every assignment & how she grades. She is one of those rare teachers that prepare her students for those "real life" opportunities.

One thing is that there was more things on the tests & quiz then what was taught but she did give a study guide and everything is in the book! LOVED HER!!

Awesome professor! I took her online class and found this teacher to be super helpful and friendly. I almost dropped the class during add/drop but I hung in there and it payed off. As long as you do your work you will make good grades.

She makes the class very fun and keeps everyone laughing. The class is never stressful or all serious. Helps us stay into the topic.

I went into this class absolutely DREADING it, but it turned out to be a positive experience. Ms. Dangerfield is extremely encouraging & supportive, but not shy about constructive feedback. She doesn't tolerate tardiness/disruptions (which is a bonus for those of us who are ACTUALLY there to learn). The class had a great dynamic! Highly recommend!

She was always helpful and approachable. Although I still dread speaking in front of people, Ms. Dangerfield showed me that it is not impossible to get through. I find her grading extremely fair, she has her initial feedback, but then goes back to review the recorded speech. She provides constructive feedback and compliments where needed.

She makes class very interesting! Although her lectures can be long they still keep your attention and are helpful. She gives you respect and goes over things you don't understand. Wouldn't miss a day of class ever every day is mandatory. She gives you great feedback on your speeches and makes you feel comfortable. All around great teacher!!

The class started a little rough but by the end of it I actually loved this class. I took it online she required us to give one speech on campus which was really scary for me but she and the class made it a breeze! I would definitely take her again and would recommend this class. Do the work and pay close attention you will pass.

I recommend Ms. Dangerfield. She cares and wants you to learn. I fear public speaking, so this was a challenging class. My speaking skills improved! She gave me constructive, real-world, and honest feedback on my speeches. But I appreciate it because don't want to go in front of a large crowd of people and make an utter fool of myself.

I loved this teacher! Her classes consist of topic related conversations where everyone can participate and understand the topics. She is very welcoming to comments and questions and the textbook was useful if you were to study for the tests. Notes being written down during the class period can also be very useful.

Mrs. Dangerfield is strait forward with her class. To pass her class: attend, participate and have a few brain cells. Don't last minute your speeches unless your a professional bser because your speech and grade will definitely reflect that.

I love love love, Mrs. Dangerfield. She takes a while to get your discussion board grades in. There are two projects: one a group and one individual. Easy A if you take notes and read the definitions in the book. She is super caring and funny and a remarkable teacher. You get real-life examples to the terms she is teaching which is very helpful.

I took this class online/offline and it was a very good class. Teacher works with you and has clear instructions. She is very nice, so I learned a lot about public speaking and she help me reduced my fears.

This woman is PASSIONATE about her job and people. Shes interesting and fun, loves interaction and to know youre paying attention and learning. I had a really fun class and always looked forward to going. Im assuming if you take this class youre prepared for group projects and public speaking because theres a good bit but overall good time.

Since the first day I enjoyed going to her classes. Amazing and fun lectures, makes you want to go to her classes. Doesn't assign many homework or tests so every assignment will affect your grade heavily, overall an easy A if you pay attention in classes and do every assignment. Strongly recommend.

Even though I am an international student, she makes everything amazing to me. I understand the lecture very well and I become more confident to stand in front of class to speak. Everyone who has a fear of public speaking, take Professor Dangerfield. She will help you understand what you should and shouldn't do during a presentation. Surprisingly, I was excited to go to her class everyday (which isn't normal for me LOL). Midterm and final exam are pretty straightforward. P.S. Take her class on campus if you can.

Although a little unorganized (especially on the discussion board side), I loved Mrs. Dangerfield overall as a professor. Her enthusiasm towards public speaking really shows in her feedback and when you meet her in person. Just make sure to stay on top of the work and don't do things at the last minute. Your grade will suffer if you do.
