Great professor. Has an accent but very articulate and clear. Easy to understand. If you have a question he will assist you after class. Very professional and laid back. Good with extra credit so take advantage if you want an A in his class. Just don't advantage of him or his kindness or you he will be less likely to help you.

i don't know about his kindness part, but the class is pretty easy and he is a cool prof. the class covers statistics math a little but its easy and if you need help just ask him. the only advice i'd give about this class is read the chapters and watch his videos and you'll be fine on tests and quizzes. there is a book report and group project.

He has everything on blackboard - tests, quizzes, assignments. his tests/quizzes are from the book and practice of the material. I missed the class 50% of the time (I had a reason for it). I had to just read the chapter - quizzes and tests are not timed.Book report, group project are pretty easy to pass if you have a good group. Extra credits!

He is the best professor that I have seen at UVU so far. Always very helpful. Always very flexible with assignments. He is very articulate in class. I highly recommend him.

His course has all information on Blackboard, and his tests are also there. It is very helpful for us full time working folks with families. The subject matter is hard but he explains it very well.

Overall this was a good class. I hated that there were 6 quizzes and 3 exams and a difficult project. But Dr. Caliskan made it easy as he was good in explaining things.

Math is not my strength. I struggled in this course. I particulaly didnt like the number of quizzes and exazms, it is to much. But I was able to get the grade at the end.

this online class was taught and tested entirely by Pearson's myOMlab. It was hard and you have to stay on top of the homework. Don't by the expensive "UVU edition" book. just get the myOMlab access code and the book that goes with it.

This class uses myOMlab...you don't need to buy the expensive UVU book just by the code and the book that goes with it and save yourself $200. He is very helpful and gives you multiple attempts at quizzes and tests. If you take it once and don't do well you can ask him to explain how to do it and he will. Stay caught up on homework!

Mr. Calskan was the best professor I have ever seen at UVU. He is very clear in his expectations and well organized. You have to do a lot of work but you learn the material well in the end. Definately take it from him!

This was a required course for my major. I heard that there are easy professors in this subject, but I took it from Dr. Caliskan because he teaches very well. His exams and quizzes are all online and open book. He is very knowledgeable and accessible outside of class.

His tests are hard, homework takes hundreds of hours but he solves tough problems in class and that was really helpful. I learned a lot in this class. I would say the most I learned in a class at UVU. You wont be sorry if you take this class from him.

I have busy schedule. work and family obligations. Cenk was super helpful in accommodating when I had to miss a couple assignments. His tests are online and open book. And multiple attempts. You have to work hard but in the end you earn the grade not simply take a handout.

Really great teacher. I've learned more than what I expected to. He's there for questions if you have them and his class is really interesting. there was a nice simulation assignment which was a lot of fun. If you read the materials it is very easy to learn. You need a good group, though.

Out of all profs. i'd seen at UVU mba program this is the only guy who actually teaches. Others crack jokes and dance through the class time and dismiss class halfway. he is a very intelligent and approachable guy. I loved the projects, they were very tough but taught me the subject.

He speaks a little low, but if you pay attention, he actually explains math concepts very well. Lots of HW but he helps you on any problem you need help with. He literally did some of my homeworks completely.

Group projects are a lot of fun. Helf of the class time is spent talking about projects, working on them, and presenting them. Tests are not hard. He is a nice guy.

He is a great professor. Out of all profs in the MBA program, he is one of the few who is actually qualified to teach MBAs. More than half are not even qualified, holding only master degree. He is very smart and teaches you toughest subjects.

The class itself wasn't too hard. There was a lot of resources which made it confusing for me, not knowing what to study. There weren't many assignments, so the assignments really effect your grade. Don't forget to do them. If you do the work though, the Exams aren't bad. But don't forget assignments and don't procrastinate the group project.

Overall a pretty good professor. The homework, tests, and quizzes are all based out of smartbook so he never really grades anything himself, it was just online based. The material is pretty hard and technical but not impossible.

The online class was tough. There were textbook assignments, lectures, and homework's to help you prepare for the quizzes. The lecture videos are often 2 hours, so there is a lot of content to be able to learn from, but it does make it tough to find something specific you need help with. Be prepared to study a lot and make your own excel templates.

His lectures were incredibly helpful and the online course is done entirely through McGraw Hill Connect. There's a Smart Book assignment and a homework assignment for each chapter. Quizzes were spaced out on content from only 2-3 chapters at a time. He has the course structured really nicely making it easy to look ahead and plan.
