i took this class and thought it was a breeze... getting A's and B's on everything... to find out I got a D!!! i'm still mad about this.. it was almost 3 yrs ago! she is a cool lady and very helpful.. but i dont think 3 absences should've had that affect

Very nice and helpful. Attendence is VERY important. Every absence in my class (which met twice a week) was worth about 1.5% of my total grade. No unexcused absences. 4 lates = 1 absence. Do the math: 5 absences + 5 lates = lose 1 letter grade.

Started out as great prof., but seemed to do a complete 180 mid-way through the semester. Despite that, she is a good prof., and i would still recommend her class.

nevermind all this unrelated nonsense, shes hot. that whole accent thing..... rawr. other than that, shes still a good professor, nice, hot, fun, hot, makes class interesting, and shes hot on top of it.

she's the best but watch your absences. she won't hesitate to give you a bad grade. she has a great accent and loves to mime things out. Don't take conversational spanish, it blows! the book sucks.

I thought that Professora Ludovina was a very good teacher and took time with the "slower" students(this can be a good and a bad thing). I understood her a lot better than all three of my high school spanish teachers. She wants you to succeed. She does take off like 20 points for every unexcused absence...so watch it!

Fun class.

She is the coolest prof ever! She's hard and you have to work for your grade but you leave her class feeling like you've learned a ton. She makes it fun and helps everyone get to know each other. I had a great time in her class.

Very easy grader, but you have to try. Speak up in class, and be willing to make mistakes. Do homework and show up. Very nice, open to many topics. This class focused on speaking skills.

Important - keep good attendance. Speak up in class. Remember Spanish 401 is 4 units. Foreign language but she makes it FUN! Like a MOM to me.

Awesome teacher!! She is very patient and will go over things again if you need her to. HW every class so dont miss class otherwise you cant turn it in. I missed a big online assigment otherwise would have been an easy A. Drops lowest test score too. HIGHLY Recommended

Her class is not easy. I did almost all the homework, took every quiz, did well on every test, and put out effort on the projects and still got a B. I'm not use to that! However, she is a great teacher with a lot of patience. And she is the best Spanish teacher I've had so far. Take her class, but do all the homework and take her quizes seriously.

She is an awsome teacher. I took her for both one and two. She is always there to help and used a lot of body language to help her students understand the vocabulary. Very sexy teacher...

Worst teacher I've ever had. She's unfair, makes up rules about absences (excuses absences for students she likes, cant wait to drop you if she doesn;t like you). Plays favorites, and if she doesn't like you, she'll make you never want to come back to class. She refused to ever call on me, then gave me 85 on participation. Worst teacher I've had.

All these people saying this class was an "easy" A are wrong.There is work to be done so u do need to apply yourself, but, if you do,it can be easy.I found La Profesora Ludovina to be very charming and often funny at times.And yes, she is definitely one HOT teacher. She's honestly the best teacher I've ever had. She's extremely helpful, she makes you love Spanish and to top it off, she's hot!! So dudes, if you wanna have fun, learn, and stare at eye candy, take her class!!!!

You need to be careful when taking this class. Her grading is biased. I was personally ok as far as that went, but she was weird with a bunch of other people in the class that worked really hard. There is no excuse for being tardy or absent in this class. 3 tardies is an absent, 3 absents and you're kicked out of the class. She wont cut you slack

I am an A student and I did recieve an A in her class as well, but I would not recommend taking hybrid for 401 because you won't learn anything since you'll only be meeting once a week.

Good teacher. Not a lot of work. She encourages everyone to participate. Sometimes she wouldn't reply to emails.

Really nice teacher. It was easy, but I had taken Spanish through high school so that might be why. A lot of class participation required, which gets annoying if you already have the stuff down.

the entire class is almost all online or in the book. There are tests you take in class, but most class time is just review of last nights online lessons. definitely not a bad class, its a good choice.

This class is fun. You get to practice a lot in class. You do have to study before coming to class and then she explains in class what we had to study . We work in pairs a lot which makes it fun. if you want to learn Spanish, take her class!! Besides she's eye candy!!

I liked that the class was half in a classroom and half online. Do the homework and make flash cards for each chapter, it will make your life so much easier! Great teacher for students that don't know any Spanish before taking the class.

Very good professor. Fun class. She teaches very well and you will definitely learn Spanish. The only thing I didn't like was that she made you learn some of the material on your own before coming to class. Other than that it was a great class. Take her and you will do well.

Do the tutorials in each chapter and come to class because the exercises in class are the key to learning and remembering the language. Professor Ludovina is an extremely good teacher. Fair, and she's got jokes.

Very nice and helpful. As long as you attend class regularly, there's no reason you should not get an A. There's a lot of practice in class to prepare you for the tests, which are easy. I'm taking her for 402 as well... Oh yeah. And she's smoking hot!

She is a sweet heart. I liked her a lot. The only problem is that you have to do your homework before we discuss it which makes it tough if you dont know it. Its hard not to get an A on the homework because you have 5 attempts. You just have to study outside of class if you want to understand whats going on. A beacon tutor is offered. Overall easy!

Class is pretty easy...IF YOU STUDY. She explains things clearly and tests aren't too bad. I WOULD SAY DEFINITELY TAKE UP HER BEACON OFFER! Rebecca is a great tutor and helped make the class an easy A. Book and material is a major requirement. You will need to study and memorize vocab but the class should be easy if you do.

Professor Ludovina teaches very well I believe for a beginner Spanish class. However if you have prior Spanish experience and are just rusty, you may find it boring. She sticks pretty much to the book. I prefer instructors that bring in current events and vocabulary not in the book. After all, language is a living, evolving thing.

Ludovina is FANTASTIC! She is by the book, on topic and very fun. The only problem I had with her class was the choice of textbook in conjunction with it being a hybrid class and that class was only once a week. It's very fast paced, but doable to get a good grade. No slackers! I highly recommend Ludovina, she makes learning fun!

Great teacher! Second languages are challenging, but she explains everything well, keeps things fun, and provides help to anyone who needs it. As in any language course, attendance and class participation are very important.

Ludovina is a nice fun teacher. Although if you have no experience with Spanish, you may have trouble because she goes quite fast. I was bored cause I took 4 years in high school. But at the same time, I learned some things I never knew before. So it's not big deal if you have prior experience.

This is not an easy course, but it's good. She really makes you work and think. I HAD to take Spanish and I'm super anxious about foreign language and she was really supportive.

Although I have not taken Spanish since high school, having taken one Spanish class in high school a couple of years ago helped me succeed in the class. It's a really easy class if you took at least one Spanish class in high school. If not, then you'll need to study. I never studied and got an A+

She 's very likable and creates a pretty relaxed environment. For some reason she will drop you if you don't bring the book the first week, even though the "V-text" comes with the passcode that you have to get for the homework (and the class I took was in a computer lab!) I would take her class again though, she's a sweetheart.

Class was fun, she made it very easy to understand the correct usage and conjugation of Spanish words. Homework is all online, participation counts towards grade, 1 quiz and 1 test per chapter. 1 written final, 1 oral final, and one skit. Not hard if you study, no prior Spanish knowledge required.

One of the best teachers I've taken at ARC. If you do your work and participate in class you will pass. She's friendly and cares about her students :)

Ludovina is an awesome professor! I would definitely recommend her. She is always willing to help and repeat things if necessary, which is important when you're learning a new language. I took the hybrid class, so a lot of online homework, but that is to be expected. DO NOT take hybrid if you have 0 background in Spanish!

She is very helpful, wants you to learn, works with you and her lectures are interesting. Class participation and partner work is the core of this class since it does involve practicing speaking another language. The tests are hard so you must read your text and practice! Take this class with SPAN131 lang lab, it helps a LOT & it's extra credit!

She's very passionate for what she does, she will help you improve your spanish vocabulary. She will make you participate if you don't volunteer to participate, a lot of fun games in groups, homework is online if you do it after the due date there is still some 50 percent. She makes some jokes and make ppl laugh. It matters exams a lot of points.
