Realllly good looking guy, gives good examples and makes great use of class time to go over examples on the board. He is patient even when students don't want to participate in class. No calculators! Problems aren't too difficult though :)

Great professor. If you do the work you WILL get an A. He explains everything until you understand. Book homework is extra credit but its not 500-1000 problems like some have stated. If it's not in the notes it's not on the test.

Boruta is a great teacher. He explains the material clearly. He does not pass out reviews, but if you do all the questions from the homework and look over the notes, you will pass the test if you work hard. If you do all the homewor, you will get an extra 5% on your test that will help a lot to boost your grade. Plus, his a good looking dude.

Mr. Boruta knows his stuff and is a nice guy. However, he is a bit too laid back; he's not really an authority figure. Many students constantly interrupted his lectures to crack jokes. He doesn't care if students text in his class room; use their phone, etc. It's quite obnoxious; especially when nothing is being done about it.

Mr. Boruta was a great professor. I took his algebra two class during the summer and it was the wisest choice I ever made. He was fair clear in his information and was easy to understand. It was not easy but with at least an hour of study time a day passing WILL NOT be hard to do. If he taught calculus 1 and 2 I would only take his class.

Professor Boruta is an awesome guy. He is very patient with students who do not catch on very quickly, and can always think of a new way to present the problem at hand if you do not understand. such a great teacher! all book hw is xtra credit so i got over 100% on every test. lets you know exactly what he is looking for on tests. Kind of a lot of hw if you do book and online work but you will get a really good grade if you do both. very patient when explaining problems in class i would def take him again AMAZING!!!!

Great Professor, awesome guy down to earth always willing to help, if you do your part you will pass. The hw is long but its worth an extra 5% on exams, he is reasonable, test can sometimes be tough, but you will pass and for most taking 1340 it is your last calc or math class, I highly recommend, you won't regret taking his class

Mr. Borda is a cool teacher. He understands if you are late to class sometimes. The test are VERY EASY. They are straight from the classwork.

I took a hybrid class with him. (Don't take a hybrid worst idea ever) he was very helpful,never cancelled class (fall) and if you have a question he will explain it very well and help you work through the problem :)

Math is such a hard subject for many people to really grasp and Mr. Boruta was the most caring and helpful math teacher I have ever had. He is extremely clear in what he expects, is very approachable, has lots of office time available and gives lots of extra credit. I'm taking him again next semester (He's super hot too so that's a plus!)

I took the MATH1000 hybrid class with him. I'm fairly good at math but the hybrid class made it difficult to understand. I would not recommend doing the hybrid version of math 1000. However, Professor Boruta was a very good professor. When asked to explain things, he made it very easy to grasp concepts. I would recommend him to anyone!

Professor gives clear and very helpful lectures. If you do the suggested homework problems you are guaranteed to pass. Attendance is not mandatory, but with most math classes you won't understand the material if you aren't there. Class was not an "easy A" however, if you work hard you will pass.

Mr. Boruta was an excellent teacher. He does not make you feel stupid for asking questions or trying problems on the board and making mistakes. He is more than willing to go over whatever you need to make sure you fully understand the material. Book is not necessary but I would recommend it to be able to do extra credit.

I took this class in the spring 8 weeks long , The way Mr. Boruta setup the class and assignments are perfect. There was a lot of homework but half of it was extra credit, the test are easy if you do all the homework. Mr. Boruta is reasonable and will work with you if you need to make up a test. Math was my worst subject, he made it one of my favs.

Best professor I've had at Macomb. I'm terrible at Math and I got an A and this class was no blow off. He is very good at explaining things and making sure that everyone understands. He is a very caring teacher and I can honestly say I retained information from this class. Highly recommend :)

Prof. Boruta helped make pre calc more engaging by encouraging participation and by giving good feedback. He gives extra credit before every test. The online code isn't mandatory but if you need extra practice then it's beneficial. If you're struggling with a problem he will gladly walk you through it and show you different ways to make it easier.

I just finished his summer class and he is one of the best professors I've ever had. Super helpful and flexible, and there's more than enough opportunity for extra credit. I hate math classes and Professor Boruta helped me survive this one!

Professor Boruta is a great math teacher. He will spend the time to make sure you understand the material and answer any questions you have. The tests are pretty simple as long as you do the homework and pay attention in class. If you fail his class it is on your part and not his.

I would highly recommend taking Boruta. His lectures are very clear and will work with you until you understand what is being taught. He has a really good personality! If you do your assignments, extra credit and study you should most definitely pass the class!!

I've only taken three math courses at MCC, but I've taken each one with Mr. Boruta (0070, 1100, 1000). He is easily one of the best teachers I've ever had and I highly recommend him. Math is never necessarily easy, but Mr. Boruta explains everything in such a clear and concise way. He genuinely cares for each student and is very well respected

Professor Boruta is an amazing professor. Math is not my favorite subject, but he makes in straightforward. Lectures are amazing with good notes, goes over a lot of example problems, and gives lots of practice if needed. He also offers extra credit on every test if you do extra work. I would 100% recommend him. You do need to put in time and study.

Math is a hard subject for me. MML is harder than the bookwork. If you complete the bookwork, you get 5 points towards your test. A lot of studying required, a lot of homework. Don't take any other classes if Math isn't your best subject. Takes a few weeks to get tests back. Offers tutoring after class.

Prof. Boruta is a beauty, he is one of the only Professors i had that makes a lecture tolerable. If you go to class and interact you will get an easy A. You get a week to do your homework, and on every test you can earn extra credit points. Im a student that struggles in math and Boruta made it easy for me so therefore take him.

Taking this math class was honestly the best choice I made. This class is designed to where you watch lecture videos and take notes outside of the class and you do the homework in class, which is surprisingly effective! He's a great professor and is always willing to help you.

Wow! What an easy course! As long as you show up, its an EASY A. Minimal homework but its really easy. Tests are really easy. We got out of class as soon as we completed our group work that usually only took us 30 minutes. The longest was 45. Seriously if you need this class, choose Boruta!!!

Hw is EXTRA CREDIT (5% on each test) and the tests are easy A's if you pay attention to the notes and attempt to do some of the hw. 4 tests throughout semester and your final can replace your lowest grade. I had him for math 0070 as well & knew right away I wanted to take math with him again. 20 points are given to show up to class and do the assignment, therefore attendance is important. AMAZING math teacher. truly cared about your success. event though it was an online course when you go to class he always went out of his way to help you understand better. test were easy(no trick questions.) do the work everyday and you will obtain the grade you want. homework is only 5-10 questions per section. very well taught class.

I'm terrible at math but with Boruta's awesome lectures and a lot of tutoring I passed! The mymathlab homework was a waste of time. Focus on the homework out of the book! It's worth up to 5 extra credit points and he uses some of the questions on the test! He's a snazzy dresser too!

This was my second time taking this math class because I had a horrible professor and struggled a lot however Professor Boruta is awesome! I took his computer based learning class not realizing it and I was nervous about it but it was so easy. He was always there to help and answer my questions! I am taking him again next semester for Math 1000!

GREAT PROF!!! Young and so relatable with students. Does manyy problems in class so you nail the tests! Math Lab is great with him! Math is by far my worst subject, I took math 0070 with Boruta and I did surprisingly well, and then I took him again for 1100 and it is without a doubt one of the best decisions I've ever made. I am horrible with math and I aced math 1100!! Show up to class, do the class work and you will pass for sure. Take math with this gem you won't regret it!!

I have literally never passed math with anything higher than a C+ my entire life, trust me. But he is very good at explaining ways to do problems and little things to remember formulas. Very interactive with the class, which I loved. If you try your best and just do your mymathlab homework, you will pass. Also gives extra credit options!

If you know your math and you did your homework, the tests are a walk in the park. If you slack off and dont study or dont do your homework, then you're probably someone crying about his tests. In the class I had, Boruta didn't really lecture. It was up to you to read online and then do the homework. But in class, you could ask him anything anytime. That's all he was there for was to answer questions. He let you work problems out on the board and did well in answering all my questions. He cares about you and your grade. Loved him.

Mr. Boruta knows his math and his style of teaching makes sense. If you want to get an A in his class do all the book work, which surprisingly isn't too bad because he teaches you how to do it unlike other math professors I have had in the past. He offers so many extra credit opportunities. Take him if he is available you wont regret it.

Professor Boruta, is a really nice guy. The amount of homework he gives is not over whelming. If you have a question just email him. He answered me within 2 days. My only complaint is the Final Exam. You need to get a certain grade to pass.

I took this class as a CBL, attendance was not mandatory due to it basically being an online class besides exams. work was super easy, if you ever needed help he is glad to help you out! I would definitely take him again!

Very good teacher, enjoyed the class and learned quite a bit.

From day 1, I knew I was most likely going to struggle. But i emailed him asking for help, he got back to me fast. He helped me from week 1 to the very end. I took an 8-week class, online- he was awesome! He also sent me notes to help understand it more. If he didnt see your message the night before, chances are youll see a message the next day.

Professor Boruta is absolutely wonderful at his job. I haven’t taken a math class in over 20 years and he was able to get me through the class with ease. He posts some great videos to help with all different type of problems and is always there if you have a question. I would absolutely take another one of his classes. 10/10 recommend

Assignments were straightforward and you have a week or so to finish problems and tests. If you pace yourself, it's easy to complete all assignments. If you fail to take a test before it closes, he can't edit the grade and your grade tanks by around two letters. Tests every week, around 8-12 assignments due every week. HAVE FREE TIME FOR THIS CLASS

Math is tough and gives me anxiety. He erases all of that instantaneously. He has a real chill & calm way of teaching. He explains things so well and is sure that everyone is on target before he proceeds to next concept. Rearranged my entire schedule just so I could take him for 1000. Offers plenty of EC that's due the day of the chapter exams.

The main reason I enjoyed this class was that the hybrid format of watching short video lectures that I could pause & rewind worked better for me than traditional lectures. LOVE Prof Boruta! His course work is very easy to follow. You will pass this class IF you use everything he gives you. I was really afraid to take this math class, but I passed with flying colors because of all the material he gives you. Do all the extra credit, graded or non-graded because that helped me understand the material TREMENDOUSLY.
