I took him for x-mas minimester and he was SUPER easy. all you have to do is read and you'll easily pass his quizes. you have to write like 3 papers but he so easy in grading them... He's a good teacher and as long as you read your fine. I highly recommend him. i recieved an A in his class.

I took his on-line mini mester class. I am not good at writing. However, he kept the class interested. There was not much interaction with the students. Just answer his postings. I highly recommend this teacher. I hope to take him for another English class if he teaches it.

Boo..His onlinefast track class is tough. too many stories to read in a short period of time ( like 10p in 10 days); besides,many quizes and 5 papers. much more works required than other professors. Lack of interaction. I felt he disregarded me from time to time. Not a friendly teacher. email him at least 3 times he didn't responed at all.

I took Mr. Hammett's English 1301 as an online course. As with any online class, you can consider it easy or difficult depending on the work you are willing to put into it. Mr. Hammett's class was mainly essay intensive. It wasn't easy, because you had plenty of reading and homework and an essay due every week. I learned alot from the class.

I took this class as a 8 Week late start class Distant Learning. As long as you do your work his class is fairly easy.

I took his online December mini-mester course. He doesn't interact very much with the class, such as in discussion postings. Other than that, it was a great class. If you read the assignments and complete your papers, you will be successful in this class.

Mr. Hammett was a very easy teacher. He gave you very clear instructions on what was needed and expected of his students. He provided plenty of time to complete assignments and tests. If I had any questions he answered my e-mails the next day. I would recommend this teacher to everyone who is interested in taking English online.

This course was great, took the mini-semester for the summer. If you turn your work in on time and follow his instruction. You will have no problem in his class. Great teacher, response back to any question. Take this professor, for 1302 he's the best.

Took him online, first let me say this; Easy is subjective so I will say that he is more than fair. The overall workload was definitely fair, and the reading selection was outstanding. He provides a self review sheet that will earn you an A if you follow his instructions. Do not expect to do nothing for an A. You will get out of it what you put in.

Took Hammett online. I am not great at writing papers. If you just start writing, you can complete the assignment and he is not a difficult grader. Discussion posts based on your opinion so there's no wrong answer. Quizes have very few questions and are a little bit of trick questions but not difficult.MADE A HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

This professor is awesome, I took him last semester for the fall and did fabulous. His exams are a bit challenging but if you work hard and read the material you will done fine. Also do his discussions they help. Very quick on grading and emails you back quickly.

Easy class as long as you stay on top of the reading. He doesn't overload you, and he takes into consideration that we are not all Lit majors taking his class. I felt he graded very easy.

Taking this class for winter minisemester and so far an easy A! Professor is very nice! Just read your textbook and you will do fine. Very helpful as well, you ask him a question 1-5 minutes you have your answer already! Stories are not hard but some are long so start on them first thing you do get the book. Great Professor! I have taken him for all three English requirements. Follow his instructions and answer what he asks you to and it's a breeze to get through. He picks great stories to read from, and a few discussion posts. Not necessarily "easy" to get an A, but definitely rewarded for doing your work! Sad I am not able to take him again.

I took Professor Hammett's online late-start 1302. He was extremely accommodating and gave me an extension because of an accident I was in. His course was simple and well organized, and I would definitely recommend. One of the best late-start classes I have ever taken. 10/10 would take him again.

I took the minimester and got a 100, this class is crazy easy, just do the readings and turn in all of your stuff and it's an easy a! Mr. Hammett was by far one of the best professors I have taken. I took a mini mester over Christmas break and it was the extremely manageable. There is 5 papers with review sheets and weekly discussions. The paper topic do really make you think and get creative. He is by far the most lenient grader ever. Took his summer class. Great teacher, 5 papers and 4 review sheets and discussions that need to be done. It was a lot of writing but he understands that you don't have much time to write it so with that he grades fairly. Research module included a 6 pg. paper over a challenging topic but it was doable. Would definitely retake him!

Literally the most easy class ever. You have to read a few chapter in order to write your paper. I skimmed the chapters and got A's on all of my paper. You have 5 discussion boards which are easy and have to do a peer edited paper for the final. Honestly I don't even think he read my papers, just turn them in on time and you'll be fine.

This isn't a regular English class so I expected a heavier work load. 3 due dates. A midterm and final essay exam with short answer questions and an essay. The short answers should be 100-200 words & the essay should be 400-500 words and a research paper. The content is rather boring b/c I hate history but this class is doable. Don't procrastinate

I just finished taking this class, he is the best. But be ready to study and analyze the essays given. Dont give up. He will help you succeed.

MiniMester. Easy. A lot of reading for a 3 week period. 5 discussion questions 4-5 lines long. 1 (2-3 page) research paper. 1 mid term and 1 final. Each had about 8 questions that required 200-300 words be written for each and 1 or 2 essay questions with required 400-500 words. Just read the book and do your work and you'll pass.

He tells you exactly what he wants in his papers. He has 4 papers, discussions and 4 paper reviews as well as a final. I just started the class but can tell he is an excellent teacher plus the online class is very organized.

Took his online ENG 1302 class for a mini- mester. 5 papers and 5 discussions. Very clear on the assignment and the due dates. The class is very do able and an Easy A as long as you do the papers. Would most def take him for another class!! You will need the main book he has a few other books too which most stories you can google and find.

I took ENGL 1302 online with professor Hammett, all we did was write papers and have easy discussions. The papers are based of readings in the textbooks required. He gives a clear direction of what the paper should be about. The papers were over fair topics and we had one research paper. I would recommend taking this class.

I took his 8 week online class and it was actually pretty enjoyable. There were 3 papers and one research paper to do. I used the book mostly for learning how to write the paper according to the assignment. He graded them very easily and now I know how to write a decent paper!

Took as a summer online course so fast paced but still not horrible. 5 Modules- 1 paper each (about 2 pages long) with 1 being a research assignment (6 pages). Get the work done and submitted and you can pass this class.

I took Comp & Rhetoric II online for the summer and Professor Hammett is the absolute best! This was a very low stress class. Wish he taught more classes that I need! We did 5 papers and reviews for them. Follow the criteria he asks for, he makes it very very clear as to what he wants.

I took him for ENGL 1302 fully online, and this class was SO easy. TAKE HIM! 5 papers (last one about the class basically) but all super do-able because he gives you his criteria and you do a review on your paper before you submit it so it helps. I rented textbook online and just read it if you need extra help. Prof Hammett actually taught me alot

EASY GRADER, or maybe I write decently, either way I would take this again. Yes, you need to reference the textbook a few times and no, he doesn't give an extensive list of expectations or grading criteria. But he DOES return grades in a timely manner and the 5 papers I had to write in 8 weeks this summer were actually fairly easy.

Took this class in a 8 week period it was an easy A, he actually responds to emails quickly. 5 papers total, most in MLA format. Dicussion post were very easy topics you need like 4-5 sentences when posting. NO FINAL. No book necessary he uploads the topics you need in a word document. I would take him again if I had to.

There are few assignments so each assignment counts as a major part of tour grade but the grading criteria is very clear and reasonable. If you do the assignments you will easily pass this class with flying colors. He is understanding if you need an extra day or two as long as you communicate the need in a timely manner.

Loved this online eng 1302 class. covered great topics for the papers we wrote and had over two weeks to complete them. Super simple essays and as long as you follow the minimum requirements you will do well. He makes writing feel like less of a chore. He grades with grace and is lighthearted. take him. i wish i could take him for my future classes

Even though I selected would take again, I don't think Professor Hammett is the best choice. If you're looking for a Proof who will give you critical feedback to improve your writing and push you to be better, he isn't for you. If you're looking for a Proof that is super easy-going, little effort needed, and an easy grader, then he's for you.

He was organized and clear from the beginning via syllabus for what was expected of you in the class. I never felt overwhelmed with course work. He was easy to communicate with and gave extensions on assignments. The textbook was beneficial in order to complete the papers correctly. Graded easily. I signed up for ENGL 1302 with him .

Prof. Hammett is a man of few words, so don't expect too much feedback. He follows the syllabus to the "tee," and gives only a few assignments, each with differing points toward the final grade. I took the summer semester online and had 5 discussion posts (no replies required) and 5 papers total (with a review sheet for each). Super easy to get "A"

The easiest English class I have been in my entire life. laid back grader,. As long as you follow the grading rubric you will receive an A even if you go off it. It's about the effort. . All my essays received A+. The reading is super light, The class was light, flexible, straightforward, and trouble-free. No studying is required. 10/10

You'll mostly be doing papers all semester, but the time that he gives for you to complete them gives you plenty of time to get it done, so if you work or are just busy outside of school, this class is super flexible! Easy A. No lectures; a module was generally reading a textbook, answering a discussion post, writing a paper, and a review sheet. The deadlines were generous. Prof. Hammett was an easy grader, but provided little to no feedback. If you just need to check a box for English, this is your class. If you're looking to improve your writing, it's not.

Never have I been more excited to write a POSITIVE review on a prof before. Although there was little to no interaction with him, I can say he is generally say he is a sweet and understanding person. He gives us much time to complete our assignments (no lectures, 1 module a week with only readings, basically 1 essay & review sheet/ week) TAKE HIM!

His class was not bad at all for an online class, this was one of my first classes that I've taken online and honestly it was amazing. He has each module posted on the day it's assigned to be given and lists all the due dates for each module in the syllabus which is extremely helpful.

Honestly, the BEST professor I have had in my whole college experience! I got a 100% on all of my essays. He also gives you like a month- 3 weeks to write them which is so nice. I hope to take him again next semester!!

I did the 8 wk online class. There aren't any tests, but lots of papers. For each chapter you have to write a paper then answer a lot of questions about your paper. There were a few discussion boards, but they were super short and easy. It's a super easy class which will get you a 100, but the 'paper review questions' were very annoying to do.

An easy A! Prof. Hammett's class is super flexible with generous deadlines. While he provides little feedback, the workload is manageable. I found unstuck study great for essay prep alongside the textbook.

I took this for Fall 2024. If you need an A for English, take this class. You will not be a better writer but it will get you a good grade. I worked a full time job while taking Anatomy & Physiology and this class barely took time. There is a tedious self-paper review that you have to do, but I just worked on it while working on my paper.

I took this class Fall 2024. Class was easy, most every assignment was straight forward, however, he doesn't give great feedback and isn't the easiest to get in touch with. My suggestion would be to reach out to fellow classmates for help instead. Overall, the assignments were generally easy and so long as you submit your work, it's an easy A.

This online English course is simple and easy to follow. As long as you submit all the assignments, getting an A is easy. It's a great option if you just need to complete an English credit without too much stress. However, if you're hoping to get detailed feedback and improve your writing skills, this might not be the best fit.
