All he does is sit and write proofs on the board. Rarely does examples and gives lots of homework.
Irritating, pompous, egomaniacal - any of these would describe Chad. That being said, he isn't a half bad teacher.
I think he does a good job. He tries to make math interesting. He does give homework that is turned in, but not too many problems.
He is a good teacher, but you HAVE to go to class all the time or you'll miss a whole section! He's really nice and funny. Its not the easiest class tho
Chad is one of those guys that lives in his own littlw math world, ask a question and he will snap at you like a hungary turtle!! Whats the deal with his hair, use some gel Chad your hair is sticking up!!
I think that Chad is a good teacher, does a good job explaining. Very helpful, if you seek his guidence!
You could do far worse for a math prof. That being said, you could also do better. Be ready to study and read the text-and read the section covered in class beforehand!!! Honestly, I think that my T.A. for the class is a better teacher than Chad. Be careful taking this prof, he can be confusing.
Very easy class if you do your homeowrk and pay attention. It's even easier if you have had pre-calc in high school. The practice problems are not necessary to do. Most of the homework can be done in the discussions. Requires little study time.
he seems like an ass
Kind of made me feel like a fool at times...wasn't my favorite

If you go to class, and pay attention you can do really well. He speaks English, a PLUS!! The dude LOVES what he teaches, and is more than willing to help out if you ask.
easy class, TA was hard to understand, he was easy to talk to and very helpful if you stopped by his office, take him if you have a chance
He helped me more than any teacher I've ever had. He would always find time and made sure I understood the material. I would definately recommend taking a class with him, and dont' be shy to ask for help. He's great.

great guy lectures go over material needed not every little detail. don't get wei lyn as a gta. very hard to understand. only go to the discussion if there is a quiz
Best instructor I have ever had! He made Calculus 3 seem like high school algebra. Very good at lecture, you can tell he loves to be a teacher, and always available to help outside of class. Also a very nice guy and good for a few laughs.
good teacher, makes lecture less boring.
Good teacher Always there in office hours
Was the hardest pre calc class ever, teaching assistant had no idea how to grade papers and tests were way harder than expected
He is quite possibly THE single worst math teacher I have ever encountered in my 19 years of living. I hope there are better math professors than this ****bag.
You can tell he loves to teach.
I thought Chad was the****. The class was kind of hard, but it is a college math course. He knew what he was talking about and you could def tell he loves to teach. If you go to lectures and try you'll do fine.
I had him for Calc II. His lectures were pretty much verbatim from the book, so it really wasn't particularly necessary to attend class. Also, he apparently forgot to teach us series error/remainder theorems, which was somewhat embarrassing later on when I took numerical analysis and was unfamiliar with this subject. Rather mediocre.
Very good math teacher. Chad knows what he's talking about. He can go a little fast some times, but he's ALWAYS available during office hours, and even schedules extra office hours some times. Very friendly and very approachable. He never talks down to you and jokes around in lectures to keep things interesting. Great guy, great teacher.
Great teacher, knows what he is talking about and is very clear with his teachings.
Great guy, mediocre instructor. Has a penchant for throwing whiteboard markers across the room when he's finished with them - it was funny the first time, but got old fast.
Chad is the greatest math teacher i have ever had. He throws white board markers uses examples and slams books at unsuspecting sleepers to keep things interesting. attendance is mandatory and its easy to fall behind. also, he's a good guy and will recognize you in the halls. look him up on facebook, he has one!
Chad had a way of showing the physical representations of complex 3D geometry in a way everyone could understand
If you have an option of another teacher, DO NOT TAKE CALC 1 WITH CHAD. He is a good guy and means well but his way of explaining the material is beyond what the average person and comprehend. What he goes over in class is different from what he asks on quizzes and he picks the most difficult questions he can find for the homework. TESTS ARE BRUTAL
Tough class, but he is a good teacher. Quickly covers subject matter, but does it effectively
Chad is a great guy and funny to talk to. But when it comes to math and teaching Wow is it ever difficult to understand him. He picks the absolute most difficult questions to put on exams, and if you don't really know every little thing you're going to be guaranteed to fail because every quiz and exam question is worded tricky and def. hard!
Chad is a great guy and easy to talk to but his lectures and test's are brutal. I hardly learned anything in the lectures and learned everything from reading the book. Test seem almost immpossible.
He is very understanding!! Talk to him if you have troubles. He will do anything in his power to help you out and make sure you learn everything and pass the class. Even though he is very hard, he is a great professor.
doesn't actually teach, just goes through examples most of the time. And he goes really fast
Good professor. I thought he was very good at explaining how to do things. Can skip class, but you miss out on participation points which can hurt your grade if you miss too many. Very willing to help.
He is one of the hardest teachers I've probably ever had...but don't get me wrong, its well worth it. He does an incredible job making sure you understand the material. Just make sure you take notes and go to class
Chad is the best math teacher that I have ever had. It is a hard class, but that is to be expected for Calc II. He explains everything very well, and he is hilarius. You don't have to go to class if you really read the book, but it is much better to go.
Calc 3 is a hard class itself, and Chad just makes it more difficult. He FLIES through lectures not allowing time to concentrate on the material because you are furiously taking notes. His tests are VERY hard and not very similar to the homework you do. He is a professor that you either love or you hate, not much in between. Only take his class if
terrible class. Do not take Pre Calc with this professor. He totally flies through lectures and spends the time in class talking about things unrelated to math. You teach yourself, he does not teach you. You become great friends with your textbook.
Chad is a good teacher when you go into his office hours. However, in class he goes through the notes very quickly and when asked to slow down he wont because there is "too much to cover" Alwasy review your notes for tests and homework because the notes he gives are very useful.
I have had Chad for both Pre-Calc and Statistical Methods. I feel as though he explained calc a lot better than he does stats. He covers material very fast and moves on without gauging the classes understanding. When I have gone to ask him questions he responds as though I am just stupid. He is also consistently late to class, even the final.
I took pre-calc. with Chad and found it to be one of the best math classes ive ever taken, especially at UMD. Top 2 math teachers of my life.
Super laid back guy! He flies through notes on his tablet pc. Hard to keep up but if you just review the homework and his notes you should do fine.
Good professor math is not my forte but Chad made it bearable down to earth and very helpful and laidback, he is the professor you would want to go hit up the bars with.
This guy is one of the best math teachers I've ever had, he makes the concepts easy to understand and really easy to understand. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend his classes! super chill guy!!
He is a fun guy to have as a teacher.
One of the best teachers i have ever had
Chad goes way to fast in class and when you go to his office hours he acts as though you shouldn't be asking the question because he as already "covered" it in lecture. He also uses ALEKS which is absolute worthless. It consumes your life and he doesn't take the students time into consideration. His quizzes and exams are nothing like the homework.
I really didn't care for this guy, especially after he freaked out on one student for whispering in class, he dropped F-boms like crazy that day.. He goes way too fast, you never get enough time to copy down the examples. If math doesn't come incredibly easy to you don't take a class with him. He knows what he's talking about but assumes we do too
He is by far the worst teacher ive ever had dont take any classes with him unless you plan on not doing anything besides online math homework ! it takes up way to much time and the exams are nothing like homework and you cant read any of his chicken scratch handwriting, TERRIBLE CHOICE FOR A TEACHER DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES.
Class was EASY. I had Pre-Calc with him. Don't take this class if you don't like math/aren't good at it. You will learn a lot. He is understanding and was a favorite teacher. Math is hard, obviously, put effort into this class and you will be just fine. Homework is more than manageable. I would recommend him if you have to take precalc.
He was a great teaching! He gave lots of examples. Tests are based on homework problems and classroom examples. He makes getting an A hard, but it well worth the effort. I suggest this teacher to all students I tutor for.
Great at teaching. He offers so many chances to have help with understanding the material. Most of the HW problems are his and not the text book, so they are closer to what the quiz or exam will be like.
He is a great professor for those who are serious about their education. It's true, he moves very quickly. His tests are incredibly difficult, and he is a picky grader on them. He is a funny guy who knows his stuff. For serious students only!
Good teacher very down to earth and helpful if you are serious about the class.
Best math teacher I've ever had. Definitely knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense to students. Tests are more difficult than average, but you are given practice exams with the same type of question. Homework problems are his own, so don't take this with Chad if you were planning to Cramster your way through it.
SUUUUPER helpful during office hours. Appreciates hard work, knows when you're slacking off.
Chad explains concepts and problems very thoroughly and in a way that's easy to understand, especially if you're not so great at math like I am. It's easy to get an A in this class if you work hard. You don't really need to go to the lectures because he posts all his notes on his website.
Great teacher, willing to help whenever needed, exams and final are key to get good grade since its a weighted grading scale
Chad is tough, but never unfair. I've never seen a teacher that wanted so badly to see his students succeed, or put as much work into a course as he does. You can tell he really cares and wants us to learn. Online HW takes a long time but it's well worth it at exam time when everything is familiar. Overall a great great teacher. You actually learn!
Maybe I had a disconnect with Chad, but I got nothing out of his lectures. I ended up teaching myself a lot of the material and going to my GTA in discussion. His tests were difficult, so study all material - even suggested problems. He uses Aleks as online homework. He does not curve the grades on exams.
Chad was one of the best professors I have had. The class was difficult but that was expected. Sometimes lectures weren't enough to understand all the homework but his office was always open and he was more than willing to clear anything up that you need help with. Also, he doesn't grade the homework himself but always gives points back if you ask.
Chad's a great guy -- helpful, motivating, and funny. Don't confuse his humor with easiness though; if he thinks material is easy, he'll run through it. If he thinks it's moderately more advanced, he'll slow down for a day or so. Overall not nearly as hard as some of the other professors in the department.
If you are not the best at math, do not take him. I confuses having a hard time doing math with laziness. He lies about what is going to be on his tests and every time he did a review before a test it was on material that was not on the test. Literally everything he reviewed was not on the test.
Took him for Calc 2. Was a hard class because it was calc but there''s a really good system set up to help you with any questions.
Chad is a good teacher, sometimes he flies through material. He teaches at the level he expects you to be at in that class, so algebra, trig, precalc, geometry, he'll talk about but not in depth because at the calc 1 and 2 level you've already had it. If not get in his office and he'll give you a crash course and tell you what to look at
If math comes easy to you, than he's not a bad professor to have for Calc II. If math is something you generally have to work at, I would take this with a different professor. Doesn't do enough examples in class, methods he teaches are correct, but don't always correspond with the textbook. Exams are way more difficult than homework and quizzes.
He doesn't really explain much in a lecture he just shows how to do a problem and he doesn't give chance for any one to ask a question he just keeps going and solves the problem
definitely take his class make sure you TA speaks english
Don't take this instructor! The teaching assistants in the tutoring center couldn't even help with his ridiculously hard assignments. He isn't clear when explaining and doesn't care about helping his students at all.
Chad is a good professor but I question his methods. Often times there were multiple questions on the weekly HW that no one was able to figure it out. His office hours are helpful but are usually full. Tests are reasonable, it compensates for the hard HW and quizzes. I would take another professor if I could, not worth the daily struggle.
He makes up his own problems and does not use the book. Has clear expectations. Some things were taught in a confusing way, but with help from friends and the tutor center I was able to figure it out. The final was very fair.
Great professor but a very hard class and can sometimes not be as clear as needed.
Chad is awesome! I had him for Calc 2 and he tells you exactly what you need to do to get an A. Tests are somewhat tough but if you do the work and study the quizzes you will do well. I wish I could take more classes with him!
Lectures fly by. Keeps it interesting
Despite what some people say on here, his lectures are very clear and he gives many examples and his TAs are really great at explaining the material that he provides. He takes time to hold online study sessions. He has homeworkquiz every week on previous homework. On a difficult scale HWQuizTest. Invest time and you will succeed. He is great!
In my opinion he's the best math professor at UMD. Always there to help but is a tough grader.
In my opinion, he is the best calc professor at UMD. He has a great sense of humor making lectures enjoyable and is always available to help outside of the classroom. Chad will make you work for your grade but if you put in the time you should be okay. Great guy and even better hair.
Chad was an amazing professor. He is there to help you and will reexplain anything you might have missed. Calc II is not an easy subject, but with his lectures and homework, you will be able to succeed. Super funny guy who makes math suck less.
Im taking calc II again and i am not enirely sure i will pass. He is a super awesome guy but his class is VERY hard. make sure to shpw up to lecture or you WILL fail unless you have a natural inclination for math.
He's really cool. If you're struggling, he's more than willing to help, but he makes you work for a good grade. He's probably my favorite professor this semester.
This is my favorite professor in the school!!! He is hilarious and makes the class fun. Plus, he takes topics that would normally be hard and makes them understandable.
Chad is a great teacher! He makes calc easy to understand. If you pay attention in lecture and discussion and do your homework you should have no trouble passing. He's super funny and keeps you engaged all the time. Calc is naturally a hard class but he makes it better. I would definitely take him.
Chad is a good guy, but his homework and quizzes are very difficult, and the tests are where you make points back. Reverse of most teachers, but I walked out learning a lot (and had a low grade).
Charming Chad 4 lyfe
Found his class to be very informative, and learned a lot. However, he is a tough grader, and his tests are also somewhat difficult. Spent a lot of time studying, but found myself losing points for technical errors. Sloppy handwriting is a huge problem.
Pretty difficult, but if you go to his office hours, he'll always help you enthusiastically. Don't worry about going in for help "too many times", because I went to his office hours regularly, and it never bothered him. He has a great sense of humor and uses it to make the lectures a thing to look forward to. Definitely my favorite professor!
Chad is a great math professor. I have never been good at math but I was able to follow along during lectures and I learned a lot more than I was expecting to throughout this course. I recommend reading ahead of each lecture, sitting close to the front, and seeking out help whenever you do not understand a problem. I strongly recommend Chad.
Great teacher, was very clear on what he wanted students to know.
Third time taking the course but first time understanding anything, amazing at giving examples and explaining things in multiple ways so it makes sense to everyone.
If you go to class and pay attention you will do fine.
He is extremely helpful doing office hours and wants everyone to pass if they do the work. Calculus isn't an easy class but he lectures and explains very well. Kind of a quarky guy and can be funny
Chad Pierson is a fairly good professor. His lessons are well prepared and he really does care for his students. Putting in effort will go far in the class. He is sometimes guilty of explaining a concept, but failing to show it's application with examples, but this is usually solved in discussions. Use the TA's office hours for extra help if needed
Learned a lot! Homework was quite challenging because he writes it himself, not from a book. If you take the time to struggle through the homework a bit and really grasp what you're doing, the quizzes and exams are a lot easier. He doesn't try to trick you on quizzes and exams, if you do the work well and put in the effort upfront it'll be great.
Chad teaches a tough class, but if you do the homework and take good notes in his lectures, you'll succeed.
Just derived equations the whole time, made you watch videos every week and was never prepared for homework difficulty. The TA taught me everything
Amazing professor and cares a lot about his students. His tests are tough, but he prepares you well. He writes his own assignments, but they're very similar to what's on the quizzes and tests. He's super funny and is always willing to help!
The worst part about the class is the homework because he made it very difficult in order to make the quizzes & tests easier for us. He talks a lot about his "process" which is not doing very well on the homework, learning from your mistakes, & then doing better on the quizzes and tests. If you follow his "process" you should get a decent grade.
Calc is hard but Chad was easy to ask questions too, very funny, and great hair. Loved his class because of his personality and he made it easier to understand by being in lecture. His handwriting sucks but if you are in lecture you can take notes by ear.
Provides sample exams that are very similar to the ones he gives. Homework isn't from the textbook so can't use Chegg, but you learn material better then. Lectures are okay, his writing is hard to read at first but get used to it. Pretty chill guy and would take another class if taught by him
Chad is an easy-going math instructor, however there are a few things to be aware of when taking a class with him. His handwriting takes a while to get used to (its pretty garbage) and he also tends to rush through problems during lecture. He does post extremely helpful youtube videos, and calc2 is a difficult class, so he does a good enough job.
Chad is an awesome guy! He taught the class in a way that even students like myself, who had never taken any calculus before, could succeed. Homework assignments are sometimes difficult but quizzes and exams are much easier. He wants students to do well and is helful at office hours. I would highly recommend him!
I took Chad for Clac 1 and loved him so I wanted to take Calc 2 with him too. Calc 2 is much harder material so be prepared to work hard. Homeworks are extremely difficult, quizzes are okay, and exams are relatively easy. It is a hard subject but Chad is great to work with and will help you with anything at office hours. He is super nice.
Favorite math teacher, made class fun
Bad handwriting. Chad is a good professor and has a very thought out class structure. We basically have really hard homework and quizzes, then very easy tests (in comparison). Sounds bad at first but I really liked the structure. One thing he could do better is not wasting class time, if there isn't enough material he talks about nothing.
he's a great teacher and his methods work really well. just have to pay attention in class and turn in the homework and you'll be fine
Homework and quizzes are way harder than tests
Chad is an incredible teacher for Calc2. He makes his lecture very engaging. If you pay attention, do your homework well, do extra practice problems, and study for quizzes, the tests will feel easy. You do have to work for an A, but it is not impossible. Chad is very approachable if you ever need help on any concepts, so take advantage of his OH.
I had Chad for calc 1 & 2, he's by far my favorite teacher at UMD. Homework and quizzes are difficult, its common to fail a few, but exams are very manageable and saved my grade. He truly wants students to succeed and tried many methods of teaching. Helpful in office hours. Curved my grade at the end by about a percent.
Great professor! I highly recommend taking MATH 1297 with this instructor. Hes great at teaching. Make sure to go to his office hours because he is very helpful and it will make your life easier!
Chad is one of the best Calc 2 instructors you will find. Great sense of humor too. I laughed my ass off when he came to his office hours late still wearing a bike helmet.
Chad has his class set up so if you do the work, you won't have to study for his exams. That being said, his class's workload is a bit high, but it ultimately pays off since you should do fine on the exams. I started out the class getting a couple of F's on his quizzes, but quickly bounced back once I realized how his class was structured.
He wants you to do the problems how he teaches them. For assignments, tests, etc., he grades things based on how well you understand the material (ie, one small mistake may be a lot of points, depending on the mistake). His powerpoints suck and are hard to read if you don't attend lecture. Exams are based on easier versions of (hard) HW problems.
Great teacher, great process. The homework sets you up for how he test and grades. Makes studying easier. Highly recommended.
Great professor. I live his teaching style due to his reasonable pace. His prepares you for his tests through homework and group quizzes. 10/10 recommend.
I think this process is genius. There are basically a lot of opportunities for correction, and to see where your strengths/weaknesses are when learning math by getting feedback on assignments. As long as you correct your mistakes and learn by the time you take the test, the rest of the points are arbitrary. The only time I loved a math class.
Chad is by long and far the BEST teacher I've ever had. He teaches in a way that explains why and how things work not just telling you how to do it - which made math fun for me again. Although the course work may be difficult, if you genuinely want to succeed he will work with you to see that you reach your goal.
Chad is a great professor! he goes pretty fast in lectures but you get used to. during office hours he explains kinda fast since there are others waiting which wasn't the best but still helped. Overall I found his teaching style very helpful. It's not that hard of a class if you put enough effort into it! It gets easier as you put more time into it
So far, he's my favorite instructor at UMD. He's honestly such a great teacher, and you should absolutely take his class if you get the chance. His exams aren't too difficult if you work hard on the homework and quizzes.
Easily the best professor I have ever had. He was always willing to answer my questions I had outside of class. I visited him very frequently (3 to 4 times a week), and he always seemed excited to lend a helping hand. I've never had a math professor so caring, dedicated, and accessible to their students. If you have the chance, take a class with em
The lectures directly apply to what we're doing and is super helpful outside of class. Homework doesn't have a very large weight when it come to your grade which is helpful because some of the homework was quite hard.
He is the best and his name is Chad
Chad was by far my favorite professor at UMD. I always had trouble with math it was my first time taking calc but he made it so easy. I visited his office about 3 times a week and he always helped me as much as he could. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed as long as they want to succeed as well. I highly recommend him.
Chad loves math and hired at UMD specifically to teach math. He is super nice and accessible outside the room. He also uploads videos online to help with certain subjects every week as well as all class notes.
Chad is great at making lectures for his math class and is always easy to reach outside of class. He is genuinely excited about his subjects and cares about how the students do. follow his system and you will succeed.
His homeworks are very time consuming and can be hard so do them as you learn the material in class. He's super helpful outside class and was very flexible with coronavirus sending us online. He's very friendly and wants you to pass but makes you work for it. The tests are much easier than the homeworks. He really loves his job and loves students.
Chad is a great teacher, his exams are not that hard
Chad is good at relaying information so it is understandable. Exams were fairly difficult but the final exam was extremely hard and seemed a bit out of left field. The weekly homework is very lecture intensive but if you compete it with effort the quizzes should not be that difficult. Chad was also very approachable with questions after class.
Chad is a great professor. He explains concepts really well and answers questions clearly. Homework and quizzes prepare you to do well on the exams. If you have the chance to take a math class with Chad definitely do it.
Chad's online Calc III class was a breeze, and Chad's a great guy. Really enthusiastic, very accessible via email, and good at explaining concepts and keeping lectures interesting. Some of the group projects and the discussion board requirements can be annoying, and he goes months without grading things, but otherwise, I'd certainly recommend him.
Chad is a very nice and understanding professor. However taking Calc 2 online is very challenging and he decided to add a participation aspect on top of group homework, quizzes, and knewton homework modules. Participation points were the weakest part of this course and people who struggled to get these points did not finish with an A in the class.
Chad was the best math teacher Ive ever had. He provided just about every resource imaginable to help you succeed from an online textbook to the best homework program Ive ever seen (Knewton Alta) to practice quizzes and exams. I put an average of 5-10 hours a week into this class and I have the highest grade Ive ever had in a math class.
Chad's a great guy. He's the first professor I've had that has a good grading scale. You still have to study and do well on the quizzes and exams, but your final grade doesn't depend on them. If you bomb one, it won't ruin your final grade.
One of the best professors I had at UMD. He is very willing to help you and as long as you put effort into the class, you should be able to pass.
I liked Chad. His homework can be very time consuming and difficult, but there is only homework once a week. He gives you formulas on Exams/Quizzes so you don't have to memorize. The homework is hard, but the test and quizzes are very reasonable and easier examples. He does not give busywork. Lecture can be confusing sometimes but he posts videos.
He has a very nice grading scale. Exams raise your grade on quizzes if you do better on the exam, and the same goes for quizzes and homework. The homework is hard, but it's only once a week, and none on exam weeks. Quizzes and exams are easier. He's quite a good lecturer, has a lot of office hours, and uses a free online textbook. Highly recommend.
Honestly, Chad Pierson is the best prof I have ever had at UMD. Hands Down. He is the nicest person ever, and made calc 3 nice and easy. He wants everyone to succeed. He explains everything thoroughly, homework is due on set days, and sets the class up so it is impossible to get a bad grade. 10/10 class, would recommend!
Amazing teacher at UMD. Took him for Calc 1 and Calc 2 and Diff Eq and he was great in all of them. Great lecturer and a funny teacher. Cares a lot about his students. Grading system where if you do well on a test he will raise your old quiz and homework grades.
Without a doubt the best math professor I've had. He's great at teaching and cares deeply about student success. There's weekly homework and quizzes but they're pretty short. Exams are manageable as well but make sure you actually do and study the work instead of photomathing your way through the course. He provides lots of resources to study too.
I know a lot of people liked him as a teacher but I feel like he has changed. He does not grade anything for WEEKS, does not explain any of the knowledge before hand, he starts teaching it like you have known about it since the first grade. He is a very nice person and nice to visit during office hours but he is not a good teacher.
Chad is understanding and helpful. You could get a good grade in this class just by completing the assignments and showing up to class.
Professor Pierson is a fantastic math teacher - engaging lectures, manageable exams, and helpful office hours. Utilize the free textbook and unstuck study for study prep to ace this course.
I took Calc 2 with him over the summer. He gave great feedback and was super easy to talk to. I plan on taking his Calc 3 course when I get to that point
If you have the chance, take Chad as a professor. Though there were a few concepts I struggled with, I could tell he truly wanted us students to succeed. He was willing to meet class needs and work with students. He is also very understanding and caring in general. Something unique about him is he always tried to apply what we learned to real life.
Very nice and interesting guy. If you don't show up to class, it's on you. He teaches everything you need to know in class and even gives answers to stuff if you just show up. Very clear schedule of when things will be done and when they need to be turned in. The only flaw is the time he takes to put things in the grade book.
Chad is a phenomenal professor. I took his precalculus, and it was the easiest class I've ever taken, not because of the class, but because of him. He's a very chill dude, likes to tell stories about his day, likes sports, etc. His class consists of somewhat difficult homeworks sometimes, but then superrr easy quizzes. Usually about 4-6 questions.
Chad is a great teacher, and I would recommend him to anyone taking precalc. My only grip with Chad is that he can go off on tangents that ultimately don't matter (like talking about how things are derived). it can also be difficult to stay focused because of this. No calculators or cheatsheets on exams and quizzes, but it's not that bad. Hi Chad!
