Learned a lot! Homework was quite challenging because he writes it himself, not from a book. If you take the time to struggle through the homework a bit and really grasp what you're doing, the quizzes and exams are a lot easier. He doesn't try to trick you on quizzes and exams, if you do the work well and put in the effort upfront it'll be great.

The worst part about the class is the homework because he made it very difficult in order to make the quizzes & tests easier for us. He talks a lot about his "process" which is not doing very well on the homework, learning from your mistakes, & then doing better on the quizzes and tests. If you follow his "process" you should get a decent grade.

He wants you to do the problems how he teaches them. I think this process is genius. There are basically a lot of opportunities for correction, and to see where your strengths/weaknesses are when learning math by getting feedback on assignments. As long as you correct your mistakes and learn by the time you take the test, the rest of the points are arbitrary. The only time I loved a math class.
