Great teacher !

He is an awesome teacher and I feel like i have learned so much about music and the history of music thanks to him. He only has four tests and the class is one day a week so showing up is important. He's pretty funny too and he will always go over and review with the class the week before the test. I would take his class again.

Absolute loved this class!!! Professor's lectures were clear and insightful, he was easy to reach with questions, and he introduced us to new genres of rock and roll.

I thought this class would be a boring lecture class b/c it was an American music history but as long as you come to class and actually pay attention you will enjoy the way the music industry came about from 1920's to now. The professor is prepared with each video on the main bands you will be learning about. Just take notes as he speaks.

Great class and Im not that into music

your attendance is a grade so don't miss his class but there are a lot of extra credit opportunities he writes alittle on the board but most of the notes that will be good for the test come from what he is saying

Professor Robinson is a great music professor.

My experience in Professor Robinson's class is a very pleasant one. Every morning he comes in passionate than ever to teach our about music. He's very charming and well spoken also his boots are cool. If you're coming into to this class with no knowledge of the history of music then good luck. JK he gives solid advice and does give extra credit!

He gave excellent feedback and is well-respected among his contemporaries. I was happy to be around him even though it was a little awkward at first in a new class. I am proud to say I was able to get my assignments done on time despite the fair amount of difficulty I had with them. However I'm proud to say that I've created 2 compositions. Yay!

Dr. Chad Robinson is my biggest motivation I all of a sudden have a major passion for historical music like I absolutely love it!! ahhhhh! DUH.

Professor Robinson is a very calm man that doesnt ask for much from you from class. The class just needs to listen and take solid notes, and you will be successful.

Proffesor Robinson was an amazing Professor. Although he lectures the whole class time, his lectures are very informative and everything on the test is straight from the lectures. If you study for the tests you can get an easy A and the tests arent too difficult. We review the day before test day and he covers everything on the test.

Professor Robinson is very good at providing information and elaborating on it, allowing students to really think about the matter at hand and formulate their own conclusions and ideas. A very solid class, would highly recommend it.

Great Class! I took this course as a high school student gaining college credit over the 2021-2022 school year for one semester. And I am glad I took this course as opposed to art appreciation. A very fair grader and fairly easy assignments if you pay attention.

Professor Robbinson was really funny and he gave minimal work. However, I will say that if you don't turn something in on time then he will not give you the opportunity to make it up. Same thing with low grades. The exams were pretty easy if you simply just studied and took notes during his lectures.

Love this class! His lectures are usually engaging and easy to comprehend, and tests are 11/10 since questions are very straightforward. He's super well-spoken and sarcastic too, his personality is what makes his class tolerable. I would 100% recommend!

He is a good teacher. If you show up and take notes the exams will be a breeze. There is no assignments just 4 exams, a concert report, and one quiz. Would take again.

My professor is very straightforward with what is supposed to be expected into passing. Everything is easy if you put in your effort and attention. He doesn't do make-up work but has been given 2 extra credit assignments. Also in class, he tries to make sure we are actively listening to help us in the class yet he doesn't force us to pay attention.

The professor clearly states how your grade is weighted and goes over due dates and the content for the course that the tests are on.

I felt prepared for every test, and material was thoroughly explained. This was a class where I feel like I genuinely learned, even though I only took it for credit. He makes sure the entire class engages in the lectures.

He's pretty cool very nice and easy to speak with about grades so long as your actually participating. Information for tests and papers is readily available and easily accessible.

He is a very good professor and I recommend taking his class. For this class, we only did a syllabus quiz, five tests, and one essay and they were all easy.

The course was very straightforward in its materials and assignments, so I was able to learn and understand the subject quite easily.

The professor is nice and the course is easy. The only assignments we had were tests but they were all open note and unproctored. We only had to write one power but it only had to be 500 words minimum.

I absolutely loved coming to his class! he makes everything so easy !

He only has about 6 grades for the whole semester so make sure that you do well on them. At the time of this review all of his assignments and resources are online and easy to use. He is very good I would recommend if you have to take a music appreciation class and he is an option I would say take his class over the others.
