Snow is awesome!!!! Honestly he makes the materials soooo clear that if you listen in class no need to study for the tests!!!! All I have to say is .. awesome... awesome... awesome!!!!

Snow is a new proff for psych 41. Basically he is extremly fair, and does'nt play favs/games. No need to buy the book, just need notes he gives on website. Must show up everyday to take addl notes, this proff rocks b/c he gives hints on what to study for on exams which are straight forward. He also drops lowest exam score, 3 short papers. Take this

wonderful professor. he made the class so much fun and so interesting. i can say i love this class because of him. he drops the lowest grade except for final. he grades on a curve if the class needs it. he makes everyhting crystal clear. he is also very funny.

Prof Snow really wants his students to learn. Tells the class exactly what to study for the tests. Material isn't super easy, but it can be if you study. Never used the book, just the notes from powerpoint that you can print off of his site. Recommend him 100%!!!!!!

Prof. Snow is very helpful and ALWAYS encourages students to come to his office with any questions or concerns. He allows you to print out the lectures from his website, then you can write your own notes on the side as he defines certain topics in layman's terms to make it easier to comprehend. I recommend him 100%.

Awesome teacher! He is super organized and makes life much easier for you. His lectures are online to print and he is always willing to help. His tests are graded on a curve and there are extra credit questions on teach test. There are 6 tests and 1 cumulative final. He tells you everything thats gunna be on the test the day before. got an A

Everything you need to know is on his Powerpoints. He makes the material easy to understand, and he's open for questions. 3 (easy) papers, 4 MC exams & cumulative final, and he grades on a curve. When he reviews stuff before an exam, take notes because he tells you what's on it. Also, I used an older edition of the book with no problems.

Psychology was never so hot and steamy than with Professor Snow. I feel as though he really understands me, yet he never emails me back. Like at Christmas!! What's up with that? The one weird thing is when he'd make those strange sound effects to correspond with his lesson. He would sound like Chubaca!!

Great Professor! He's really clear and organized. The class was fun! Watched a movie, 4 tests, final exam, 3 short papers. You can print the notes off from his website. Do this because it saves you a lot of time! Have to take more notes in class from his examples. Otherwise website stuff's confusing. Hoping for an A, got a B. That's cool though.

you know what he seemed really cool in the beggining but he is a harsh grader, i got B's and A's on all my tests and did the papers, then he gave me a C i missed class 4 times, just show up to class, but really cool class

6 quizzes, 3 papers and a final. quizzes are soo ezzz.(curves 2) he gives you "hints", which are extremely helpful. the papers are simple, 2-3 pages. sometimes the class might be a lil boring though, but he tries to keep it fun and alive. doesnt give extra credit, only way to get it, is the ec question on the quizzes. still in his class!

His tests are really easy. He basically tells you what's on the test, study his "hints" and you'll get an A. His papers, however, are incredibly frustrating. Aside from his horrible paper directions, his grading is ridiculous. Apparently using the word "engaging" is not the same as saying "fun." He's a nice guy, but he still has some kinks to fix.

Proff. Snow is the easiest class I took. All his test are based on his power points. It's a good idea to not miss class because he uses examples from the class on the tests. The only time I had to use my book was to write the behavioral papers, which were the easiest part of the class. Take him he's fun and makes the subject interesting.

Dr. Snow is one of the greatest professors at Pierce. He's extremely helpful. To be honest this is not an easy A class but his notes are very clear and helpful. You have to take good notes. I learned so much from him and his class. I even changed my major to Psych.Take this class for sure... GO DR. SNOW!

Great teacher. If you're looking for a class worth your time, it's this one. Knows how to teach, relates to his students, nothing too over the top hard, but that's because he has made everything very clear and comprehensible. If I was a psych major, I would take any and all of his classes. Trust me, You should take his class.

This teacher is really good! Super clear and organized. But, you do have to study. I studied and got a B. My friend studied more and got an A. Many of his exam Qs come from what he says in class, so you need to be there. Tells you pretty much exactly what will be on his tests the class before. Just show up everyday and study and you'll be fine.

OMG! I just aced our 3rd test! Dr. Snow is the best! He makes psych super cool & his hints tell you what'll be on the tests. Ignore the bitter and irrelevant person below (probably 1 of the yappers). I mean, he just showed us how 30% of us got an A on test 2! Trust me, if you study you'll get an A or B. Definitely going to take his other classes.

Hes so helpful! I did not well on 1st quiz but have come by his office many times for extra help. Mr. Snow is so patient and help me really learn psychology. I did much better on last 2 quizzes. Hes also good at dealing with loud people. If you want to talk to your friends in class then stop it! Be adults! or take the class with someone else. A+++

Imagine that a prof that is not perfect/omnipitent, human being/flawed character. Just show up to class/study, ignore the "picking" & you'll get a suberb grade. I did!

Just aced exam 2. Here's the skinny on Snow: crystal clear, highly engaging, & always holds your attention. The whole class is involved with Q&A & constant laughter. We just discussed adolescent drug use. Snow himself is like a drug; the material and presentation is that good! BTW, incomprehensible reviews like the 1 below should be deleted. WTF!

I took both of his classes & he was great. Psychology isn't my major, but he makes it fun & interesting. He is clear, really organized & tells you exactly what?s on the test. He doesn?t tolerate talkers, yet encourages questions & is very fair. Just follow his instructions, show up, take good notes & you?ll do just fine.

Best professor i have this semester! His teaching style is so interesting.. and the material is easy to understand because of his efforts to make it appealing. Take him! His lectures are done from powerpoint and you just need to bring them to class to write down examples. 4 tests (lowest grade is dropped) and he gives you EXACTLY what is going to be on it ahead of time. You also have 3 papers but they're so easy you don't even need the book. Highly recommend him.

Great class,didnt even buy book and got a B, his whole system is based on power points, its great, u really dont even need the book. just make sure you study hard and be there on the day where he gives you the study guide. not hard, just tedious. if u put in your work you'll get results, you procrastinate and you lose. simple as that.

Best Psych teacher I've had! Yes, there's work involved (4 exams, 3 papers, final) but his exam reviews & paper instructions are very precise. I don't know how some people aren't passing. Must be people who don't show up often... you do need to attend class. He's funny too & makes the class as fun as possible while still teaching a GENUINE class.

He's got an obvious love for psychology & he usually keeps you interested. He likes to integrate & apply stuff which is cool. Typical amount of exams & papers. Not a easy class but not a hard one either. moderate difficulty.

A lot of information, but no need to buy the book. Snow is very thorough and willing to help students out. Funny and entertaining most days, even at 8am. Great professor; learned a lot. Go to his office hours for paper help; it?s worth it!

Dr. Snow is great! I mean REALLY great! I took Psych 1 & Psych 41 with him but this is his BEST class. 3 exams, 2 short papers & a final. Lots of interesting applications and persuasion tricks you can use in real life! You learn that "normal" is not what you think it is :o) I'll be majoring in Social Psychology because of this class. Cool vids too!

He is VERY fair and extremely intriguing. You learn so much and he is completely entertaining and clear. A lot of quizzes but he helps out because he is very dedicated to help his students learn. This was my fav. class this semester strongly recommend him!

His powerpoints are the best Ive had in a class. really organized. He does a awesome review for tests. BUT, if you miss class get the notes cause only half is in book. I had him for three classes; general, Social and Lifespan Psych and he is an AMAZING professor in all 3. Makes everything clear and he is always there to actaully help you and and takes time to expalin things to you if something is unclear. He actaully cares about his students

All took life-span(PSYCH 41). His clarity and knowledge in the subject actually reinforced my decision to want to make psychology my life and my major. Such an easy A if you go to class, take sufficient notes WITH his powerpoints, and study them. He tells you EXACTLY what on notes will be on the exam for crying out loud! How could you not get an A?

Teaches only using the lectures (never uses a book). Replaces the lowest test with the final. Funny teacher, but has preeety difficult tests. I studied for all of them and ended up dropping it in order to avoid getting a C (I have 3.5GPA). He tells you whats gonna be on the test, but thats his way of telling you that its pretty much everything. GL!

Most fun class at Pierce! Watch movies & connect to Psych. You understand & apreciate movies in a way you never did before. Snow gives you study guide for tests (EASY). 3 Papers (EASY). Lets you miss 2 classes but after that you lose 5% of your final grade for every other absence. OUCH! Just don't miss more then 2 & you are GOLD for an A. HAVE FUN!

I took the honors class, easiest class ever and incredibly fun and enjoyable. Extremely good natured. I'm a slacker and even I couldn't help showing up to his class because he makes the material so understandable & interesting. I will be taking more psych classes with him. Two 5 page papers, 5 quizzes & drops lowest score. No mandatory attendance.

Great enthusiastic professor. Films meke certain psych profiles and individual and group dynamics clear and easy to understand. He uses concepts from all your past psy courses...clarifies for psy vets and makes clear for new students. Friendly, concise skilled teaching style.

I took the honors class and struggled, but was taking four other classes as well. I recommend reading the assigned chapter before the test. Reeading the textbook truly helps if you need a reinforcer. He did try and make the class funny, which worked. Except his movie references went over the head at times, since they are older.

I had Dr. Snow for PSYC 1 and it was hands down the best class and professor I had in college....Why isn't he teaching it anymore??? But it just got beaten....by HIM teaching Social PSYC! =8^)Best class ever! Dr. Snow isn't just a professor, he's an experience. Seriously, there's no one like him. You have to earn the good grade but you'll have fun!

This class does not promise a good grade,unless you put in the effort and show up. Every exam has at least one question that was only discussed in lectures, no data in, text books, or google. He wants things done exactly his way, so do them his way. He is not lenient. His lectures pretty much consists of defining 20 terms per session and jokes.

Was the most enjoyable info about people I've ever learned! Saw him for paper help & it saved me 30points! Be in class & take notes on ppts. I got an A, or as he said to me, I gave myself the A. Great teacher! 3 emams, 2 papers, final exam. really fun guy and keeps things lively even when going through some of the drier concepts and life stages. he really knows his stuff and you will too in the end. so educational and fun! and he'll help you study during office hours. take him for everything!

Had him 4 everything inc. Psy 1 honors. He's the best prof ever! really cares & helps u learn. You learn how to think, not just facts. Not easy though. Glad he won best teacher award we nominated him for last year. If its a class he teaches TAKE IT! He's an outlier for all the right reasons. that's a term u learn in Stats: wish he taught that too.

I'm a cinema/psych major. Ive taken many psych classes. This is by far the best. The films cement psych terms/research Snow presents into your head. Ive never remembered/connected/learned more from a psych class. All psych or cinema people need this! Snow has a hugely vast knowing of psych & also films. Hes also really funny & keeps you focused. A+

Social Psych is THEE best class I've had at Pierce. The material you learn is great but Snow is the reason it's SO good! He has charisma and funny! and a way of teaching that keeps you always interested. His ppts are great but you have to add notes to it. If you don't think you'll come often, I wouldn't recommend. I got a B and never used the book.

The whole class was very interesting. He made lectures fun and the material was all in the powerpoints. Just print them out and you will do just fine just take good notes. You dont really need the book, you only need it for the behavior papers which are easy to do. His studyguides are crystal clear and covers everything that will be on the test.

His class was fun. He is very charismatic and intelligent. His notes were helpful. The book was not really needed and attending gets you more clarity on some of his slides. PAY ATTENTION, do the two papers as prescribed and you'll get an A.

Dr. Snow is a lot of fun. This class is a good sanity class amongst harder classes. Basically you have to watch the weekly movie, participate, take notes, take the tests, and do the papers. Easy stuff. It helps if you are both interested in psychology and film. Snow is knowledgeable and funny. He wrote me a letter of recommendation too!

I had Dr. Snow for Psych1 honors & Social. Both about the same. medium work. easy A's if you come to class. He's unique & funny! Ask him to do celeb impersonations. It's like going to see standup comedy & IMPROV yet you learn about SO MUCH and USEFUL knowledge in the real world. Best tuition money I've spent! His lectures should be televised!

This course is wonderful! I'm going to be an O.T. and needed to take this course and was dreading a class at 8:00 A.M. But Dr. Snow is very bright and knowledgeable in this subject and humorous. He likes to use a story-based approach to discussing disorders with examples and studies. He provides total clarity and his study guides are right on!

There is no such thing as academic entitlement. I'll admit I didn't well in Professor Snow's class due to family problems getting the best of me towards the end of the semester. Although there is one thing I can say, you'd be a fool not to take Snow. I learned so much from him that I'll carry with me forever. He's truly an amazing professor.

His class was very enjoyable. There were 5 quizzes in the semester and 2 papers. He doesn't take role, but I recommend going to class if you want to have good notes for the quizzes. I would definitely take him again! He's also pretty hilarious.

Took this class just for fun because I love both cinematography and psychology. I did all my homework, never skipped a class, and prepared for every single test, took notes, wrote essays (that were never good enough for him to give me an A) Unfortunately, he literally ruined my perfect GPA, it is the only B I ever got.

Professor Snow is one-of-a-kind. Even though I am done at Pierce, I want to come back and take more classes with him in the future. He truly cares for his students and goes out of his way to make sure you understand the material. His classes are educational as well as entertaining. Can't say enough good things; I definitely recommend him!

He is absolutely one of the best teachers I've ever had. His lectures are amazing and you never get boerd in his class. The tests are not very easy but if you study the study guide and pay attention to his lectures you won't have any problem.

Lecture is everyday he gives good, easy, and funny examples. Answers any question you have. Only homework is reading but if you pay attention in class and take good notes really don't have to read. Test are not very hard as long as you study actually easy. No midterm and final is based on tests taken during the semester.

You cannot get bored in his class, he is so funny and knows how to keep a class lively. he grades very easily, expect two essays the whole semester. The most enjoyable class and prof i've had. Drops your lowest test and counts your 1st paper (easy) twice if you like your grade instead of doing 2nd paper. You learn how funny and crazy normal people are in everyday life. You do have to take good notes. Also had him for Psy14, not as funny but just as captivating. He's consistently engaging & fun!

Thhis is a really fun class and not hard at all! He gives a short lecture then a movie then a movie - concepts connection discussion. you see a variety of different films and in a new way. tests and papers are easy but attendance is really important. Too bad all classes aren't this good but of course they couldn't be. Snow is a lot of fun too! A+

MUST TAKE! he is very good at explaining the material he gives you his power points to print out and everything on the tests are from the power points i learned so much I am very thankful for professors like him. 3 I am sad he cant be my professor for every class I need... he is so insightful and fun!

Snow is a great professor I loved him and I will continue to take another class with him. He only has 5 quizzes which are not too bad you just need to make sure you study a bit and two easy papers. He makes mis lectures fun and he really inspires you and is simply hilarious. He's honestly the best. Take him you won't regret it.

I had Snow for a great Psych 1 class, but THIS class was fabulous! Lots of time discussing REALLY interesting experiments. Social is the most relatable to everyday life classes I've taken and Snow is highly knowledgeable and hilarious! BUT, over half of his test questions come from stuff he says in class, not his PowerPoints. So don't miss class!

Proff Snow was so amazing! Most of his quizzes are easy if you study his quiz guides and the papers were a breeze. His way of teaching keeps you constantly interested. I already have my BA, but this was one of the most interesting and informative classes I've taken at any college or univ. Snow should be teaching at what he calls a 4 year liberal arts college or in the movies. You'll know what I mean when you take him. But whatever. Pierce has got him. You get an expensive education for cheap tuition.

Structure! Dr. Snow is a gem of a prof. Very organized, clear syllabus with exact dates, isn't all over the place, doesn't forget what is being covered that day and each lecture flows smoothly like a river. He covers a lot of info but you learn A LOT. He also knows a lot about a lot. Has E.C. on each quiz and 2 other E.C. activities too! Funny too!

Professor Snows is hilarious and really knows his stuff. The class consists of 5 quizzes (lowest one is dropped) and 2 behavior papers. Not gonna lie I had to study a lot in order to pass, but you won't regret taking him. The quizzes aren't typical terms. He provides a study guide, but you have to apply your knowledge to the questions. STUDY HARD

Professor Snow is a good Psy teacher I took him spring semster. Hi's lectures and examples are review for exams, finals and essay. Make sure you attend everyday lot's of interested lecures and he makes hi's class very fun. I'm not a Pscy major but I enjoy learning interesting topics about social psychology class. Power point notes are helpfull! :)

Tests are based on the lectures, def don't skip out on those! He is very entertaining, and the tests are not hard if you pay attention in class. Two papers, but they aren't long and he gives you a lot of freedom to pick what you want to write about. Pay attention, some small things often show up as a question on the test.

BEST PROFESSOR IVE EVER TAKEN. I cannot stress how awesome of a professor he is, he's hilarious, charismatic, has an amazing smile but most importantly helps you understand psych with a clear understanding and great examples. You dont really use the textbook, just study lecture notes and his powerpoints and you'll get an easy A!!! :)

This class was by far, entertaining, informative, interesting and EASY! There is a text book, but not mandatory. 4 exams are based off power points & he provides study guides the week before. There are two papers, but if you do well enough on the first one, don't need to write the second (HINT: follow paper instructions!) HE'S FUNNY, CUTE & SMART!

His approach to psychology gets you to really learn the material and not just memorize it. Definitely cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. Great teacher! He tells you exactly what he expects. His study guides are helpful and attendance is vital for a Good grade. Hes funny and hates when you walk in late. Be on time for tests. The only bad thing is he doesnt post grades because he does not use canvas.

This professor actually makes his lectures entertaining. Exams tends to be a mixture of lecture and notes. If you do miss an exam and you have no one to borrow notes from, reading the book helps. Just follow the lecture slides cause he doesnt use every information there. Drops lowest exam ( no quiz ) Two essays but only required to do one.

Literally the best professor Ive ever had so far. He gives study guides for tests and quizzes that have around 95% of the material thats gonna be on there. Just pay attention and youll get an A, Ive also walked away with knowledge that I didnt have before, mission accomplished.

It's impossible to fall asleep. He provides study guides for every exam & for the final. Study those & you have yourself an easy A.

Don't listen to the bad reviews! Highly recommend you take his class, he is very funny which helps you pay attention to his lectures. He's very clear when he explains things and will always use analogies to help you understand something. Try not to skip class because you'd only know the E.C. answer on the quiz if you show up. Quizzes are easy too.

This is my third time taking professor Snow while at Pierce. He is seriously still my favorite professor. Loved the films he picked for Psych in Film. Great mini lectures. It's only once a week for about three hours I think. Just show up, listen to the lecture, watch the film, and study. There are two easy papers. I'll miss taking him!

This is such a fun class, I absolutely recommend it. The films he selects are entertaining and almost perfectly capture the esssence of that week's lecture, and his lectures are always thorough and captivating. Study guides are provided for multiple choice tests which are very fair and easy to pass.

Honestly, I loved professor Snow. He is hilarious I really recommend him you will not regret it. he doesn't assign homework, however after quiz 3 the quizzes become harder but he's still a great prof.

He is really fair on the tests, plus he gives extra credit in all of them. His lectures are really easy to understand. I took his class in Winter, Im an ESL student, if I could get a B, I think a non ESL student is capable of getting an easy A on his class. A quiz every week, he drops the lowest grade quiz, and 2 papers.

Most of the information is in his lecture slides (which he posts online). Reading some of the textbook definitions were helpful for reviewing for quizzes. Professor Snow is one of the best Psychology professors, nobody could really compare after having taken him. I took him for the Winter term of 2020 and all the HW we had were 2 short papers and 5 easy quizzes plus the final. He drops your worst grade on a quiz and he hands out study guides that reflect the quizzes very well. An easy A.

Professor Snow adapted really well to online courses during quarantine. He kept true to his syllabus, and we went through five quizzes and two papers. Use the study guides for the quizzes and ask for feedback on papers ahead of time, and you should be good. He also tried to make lectures interesting too. Great teacher.

This is the first psychology class I have ever taken and Professor Snow is amazing! Please take my word and take a class with him. Every week we are assigned 1-2 hours of video lectures so be prepared to take very good notes because the class is based on three tests and some discussions. Hilarious and keeps you engaged! Need to take him! Lectures are pretty heavy but very interesting throughout. The material is explained very clearly with examples as well. You honestly don't need the book, it is all in the study guide. 1 or 2 lectures every week, 5 discussions, 1 four-page essay, and 2 extra credit opportunities at end of the semester. as well as occasional films.

I've taken prof Snow about 4 times now and I love his class! He sounds like Paul Rudd if you put his lectures on 1.5X speed and gives study guides with every topic that are on the tests. He gives great examples for every topic and it's really easy to get an A.

Professor Snow has long lectures, just watch it on fast speed and make sure to get all of the examples down that he mentions. Discussions are based on readings and not mentioned in lectures. Lots of information, hard in some areas but easy in others.

Dr. Snow is a truly amazing professor. I had him a couple years ago on campus and his new online class feels like you're in class. He made the material so interesting that I think I now want to pursue my M.A. in Psychology instead. His review of disorders is very thorough. I never thought I'd say this about an online class but this is one of the best classes I've ever had! His lectures are like being in the classroom. They can be long but just classroom length. Man do you get your money's worth! You learn so much about people! Easy class if you listen to his lectures and use the study guides. He's the real deal! A+!

While the lectures may range to be 1-2 hours, prof Snow throws in some nice comedy breaks throughout the interesting material. The book is also helpful to read over the mentioned chapters but some exam questions are only found in the lecture. The only graded assignments are the discussions and exams, each one week apart. highly recommend!

I don't like online classes and psych isn't my major so I figured I'm not going to like this class. I was wrong! Snow cracked the code! His online class really feels like your in a on campus class. His recorded lectures are so interesting, relaxed and funny! If you want your online class to feel real this is it. No required meetings. Minimal work.

Snow is the best. Have taken so many classes with him, always amazes me. He makes really long lectures but they were so enjoyable that you dont even feel like youre watching a lecture. Theres only 5 discussion posts,a paper, and 3 tests before the final. Tests are 200 points each and theres only 1000 points total. Make sure you study very well

Psychology 01 is great with Dr Snow. He obviously loves what he's teaching. I don't know why that others have said that his lecture are long. It's the same as if I was in the classroom. I'm glad that he isn't cutting me short and giving me the education I paid for. Clear and funny lectures. Study guides for tests are spot on and writing is short.

I took Professor Snow for two Psychology classes at Pierce College. I should mention that both classes were online. One of which started in person but shifted online due to the pandemic starting. He's a good teacher and not too difficult. If you read and attend lectures you will pass no problem. I would gladly have him again as a professor.

He didn't give many test when he did they were heavy. His lectures were sometimes interesting but they were very long and heavy. I often found myself wanting to drop the class. You don't have to buy the book he says. A lot of his student don't buy the book. You can always find it free online if you do need it. (z-lib). I didn't like this class.

Took him for Psych 13 and 14. I've now graduated and I can say he was honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. His lectures are engaging, interesting, and funny. I'm not sure why his difficulty rating is so low. 2 papers (second is optional) and 4 exams including final which is cumulative and includes new material so is twice as long as the other exams. There is a ton of material on each study guide and tests are not open note so you need to study hard to get a decent grade on his exams.

The best psychology professor i have had. There's alot of info but hey it's college! He takes the time to explain everything and field student questions. Study guides for tests are given. If you don't want to be a college student then don't take him. If you want to learn and be ready for university he will prepare you for university level classes.

I had Snow online for Psy1 and he was great! Taking him now for Psy13 and Psy14 in person and he is even better. My favorite prof! Week 1 was so much fun. Professor Snow is great. This is my second class with him and its the same format. 4 in person exams and a final, he will drop your lowest exam grade and count your final twice. 2 papers (paper 2 is optional if you are unhappy with your grade for paper 1). Study guides for every exam. This is not an esay A but he gives you what you need to get one.

Chad Snow is Jerry Seinfeld meets Larry David meets HIMSELF. I'm in my 30s which may bias me a bit but his opinion is that social psychologists are comedians that want job security. HA! This guy is great. Have fun learning ALOT. Not hard if you go to class and take notes. Feels like free entry to a comedy club twice a week! He tells it like it is.

Loved Prof. Snow! He gives 5 quizzes (60pts each) with 1 final exam (100pts), and assigns 2 behavioral papers (30pts each). The quizzes are 30 questions, and the final exam is 100 questions. Lectures are hilarious! He drops the lowest quiz grade, but you CANNOT miss a quiz! If you do, he'll drop the quiz you missed. Study, and you'll get an A!

Loved Prof. Snow! This was his 5-week summer course. If you take thorough notes on his online lectures, you'll ace the quizzes. They aren't proctored, so you can use your notes if you need to. But, his lectures range from 1-2hrs so the note-taking is the hardest part. Also, he assigns a character/behavioral paper, which he grades pretty easily.

Professor Snow is a great teacher, he will assist you when you need it, look out for you and give you the guidance you need to succeed. I enjoyed the class, there is a lot to learn in abnormal psychology, if you pay attention, listen to his lectures and take notes you will get through this, it can be challenging, but interesting.

Snow is the best. He teaches alot of material but uses comedy that makes you remember things easily. I barely had to study because of his way of teaching. He even related the action potential of neurons to real life! His method should be in a book! But he's spontaneous so his way of teaching probably can't be learned. Easy A if you go to class.

As a Psych Major, PSYCH 013 was such a helpful class to take and helped me understand and learn a lot about the social part of Psychology. Very long lectures online, and a lot of notes with few discussions. Get ready to have to pay attention during these lectures as there is stuff said that is not in the lecture notes that is tested on.

Prof Snow made Abnormal Psych so interesting and fun at the same time great guy. There were a handful of discussions that were pretty easy and there are also 3 regular exams and 1 final exam (cumulative). Patience is tested when taking notes due to his long lectures but it's important to watch them because information on them will be on the exams!

Social psychology was such a great class! Took it on campus. The studies proff. Snow discusses are important and often shocking and VERY amusing (Snow's funny too!). I can't believe some of the stuff that people do in the social world! Easy class if you attend and take notes. 4 tests & a short paper. I never used the textbook. This class is a MUST!

I took prf Snow for Psych 1 online in the summer and it was EASY! 5 simple quizzes, a final, a short paper. Few discussions. Lectures are really fun! Amazing professor that is transparent and answers questions well. Writing down notes is essential. Attend the lectures since he often brings up outside studies not in the slideshows he uploads. Tests are on scantrons and rely on information in the slideshows and lectures. Homework is two papers, but passing one is enough.

PROF. Snow says that psyc 74 is the capstone course at Pierce. But I think this is it. This is my 4th class with him and the format is the same. After 2 films I already understand psychology as a real science better than before this class. If you are a psyc major you have to take this class. It pulls it all together!

This was a very informative class. Professor Snow is a great professor. The tests are very heavy however, everything is strictly from the lecture, never trick questions. This was the second time taking him. Still an amazing teacher I'll be taking him next semester.

I just finished my 2nd year at Pierce and this was the best class I have taken period. Dr. Snow is the most engaging & spontaneously humorous professor I have had. He's very knowledgeable about the subject. He's very fair with grades. There are 4 exams & a paper. You really need to attend and take notes. PowerPoints and study guides are on canvas.

This class was really fun! He makes 85 minutes fly by. I took his class this spring after another psych class. He holds your attention and if a class is missed, he has backup video lectures. He gives study guides that tell you exactly what to study. There are 5 short quizzes, a final and a short paper or two. Great intro to psychology!

Professor Snow is clearly an entertainer. I mean that in a GOOD way! He teaches serious terms and with great research studies and adds comical spins. He merges education with comedy. The result of this is a recipe for a delicious meal. I'm pursuing my MA and I'm lucky to have his class and Pierce is lucky to have him. He's a rock star at his job!

Snow is the best! I took 3 classes with him and hoping to take his Psy 69 film class. Everyone raves about it. His classes are like late-night talk shows but educational. He's the only professor that held my attention during the entire class period. Take his classes. He made me think about my major. I switched to Psych. Definitely one of a kind.

I can't believe how much I love Dr. Snow's class! I scored solid As on the 2 exams so far! Print out the PowerPoints and take notes in class. The material is really interesting and he explains it REALLY well and he's funny. You have 3 tests, a paper, and a final exam. He drops your lowest test too. Social Psychology has so many interesting studies!

Fantastic class!! Prf. Snow knows Abnormal Psychology remarkably well. He conveys the seriousness of the subject matter but with a lightheartedness that gives you a great time in class. This professor is lowk cool. He doesn't give any assignments except for 2 papers the entire semester. Tests are pretty straightforward. Gives a study guide and if you study the terms you'll be fine. This class was actually interesting

I had Prof. Snow for Psych001 too. In both classes he breaks down hard concepts into simple English using examples, analogies, stories and humor. He literally acts things out at times. Show up, listen and he holds your attention. I barely studied and got an A in both classes. You should take good notes though. 4 tests and a fun paper. Take him! A+!

He did a really good job of explaining everything and jokes around a lot. We had one paper and that was the only homework. He gives study guides for tests. You do not need to get the textbook if you go to all his classes. Must go to class as he will say studies that are not in text and put them on test. I used quizlet to study.

This is THEE class! This is my 4th class with professor Snow and I love it! He takes everything learned and connects it to movies which then lets you understand everything psychology even better. It's also his easiest class so it kind of feels like a reward for making it through the major. I switched my major to psychology because of his classes.

Professor Snow is AMAZING! I feel like I want to change my major to psychology but think I can't at this point. W. Really interesting lectures and he is quite comical. He gives you everything you need to get an A. Highly recommend. Also you will like his voice.

Honors psych. Very easy class. Lectures are youtube videos and they have transcripts. Just copy and paste it on a word file and ask chatgpt to give you notes based on the file you uploaded. You'll save yourself 4 hours of your time. Discussions every week, quizzes and one paper. It's an easy A.

Dr. Snow is fantastic! There's quite a bit of information to learn but his study guides help a ton. He's also very helpful during office hours. Learning about all the disorders can seem scary but his pleasant teaching style makes it fun! He gives 3 exams, a final, and a pretty easy paper. I feel ready for my MA now. Would love to take him again!

Professor Snow is wonderful! I hadn't had a psychology class before and his class made me want to take more. He's very educational and funny. I can tell he loves teaching. He's always upbeat and works hard so that things aren't as hard for students. He gives quizzes, assigns two easy papers with CLEAR instructions, a final exam. Highly recommend!

His Psych 69 class had us watch movies every week. The catch is, they were surprisingly good movies, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself as he introduced me to some movies I will now call my favorite. Take this class, you will not regret it!

Abnormal Psychology was my favorite Psychology class of all. Not sure if it was the topic or the professor or both. Probably a combination. Really eye-opening with all the various disorders. He is very clear in explaining what you learn and has a nice personality. I most definitely want to take another class with him!

Lectures are long but funny and interesting.Quizzes are easy if you pay attention and take notes.Grade is made up of discussions, quizzes, and the final, so participation is important.I bought the textbook but barely needed it.Honestly, even though psych isn't my major, this class pulled me in because of how engaging he was.Definitely recommend!

Snow is great. He's really down to earth. Hang out with him during his office time and you'll get it. Very educational and fun. You really have to go to class and take notes though. He gives really good study guides. I'm taking his film class for sure!

I loved his class! I thought the assignments were pretty easy and fun.
