Very Awsome. I wish to have her as a nursing professor. She hands out o1 1/2 page notes, study it, next day quiz, subject closed. One organ function per quiz. Students gave her gifts. I recommend AVC students to come to LAVC for her. If one person cheats, she drops the test on the whole class. She even offers potluck.

Fantastic Instructor. Full Time Scientist in her full time job, she's Full of Knowledge in the Biological and Chemical Field. Take advantage of her knowledge. Very nice and reasonable. Tests and quizes are easy if you study by her sylabus. I was absent 20% of the time due to my job and still earned an A. One of the best instructors I've ever had.

Good at explaining material. easy tests 80% of the time. other comments are true about her working FT while teaching, so do take advantage of what she has to offer. She wants her students to get A's. as of spring 06, she may take a break from teaching to work on her studies. take her while you still can.

Dr. Aroroa opened the class with the statement "I teach from my heart. Please learn from yours." She didn't lie; she does teach from her heart, loves what she does, takes all the time needed to explain and stays late should you need help or clarification on something. Sometimes her accent is difficult, but you can overcome that.

I currently work in Professor Arora's lab as a student worker-as I have for many professors. True, I'm not a student of hers-but I just have to say that this lady has a great heart and is probably the sweetest teacher I've met-and I've met some great ones. She clearly knows her stuff and always seems very fair.

A great teacher, amazing heart. She truly cares about her students and will do anything to help you succeed (as long as you try, too!). And her goal, first and foremost, is to make sure you actually LEARN. Her tests are really simple and her labs are also pretty quick and easy. Just stay current with the material, and you'll do well.

She was only my lab prof. but was extremely sweet. If u have questions she will take time to answer them. Easy A, just complete her labs and pass her 10pt quizes every wk. She reviews the material for the quiz RIGHT before you actually take it. Quizes based on her short lecture & labs. Really NO excuse NOT to pass. She gave no Final/No Midterm.

Dr. Arora is an excellent teacher. Not always so clear, but truly loves to teach Biology. It's not the easiest class in the world, but I highly recommend her!!!

She is the greatest teacher ever! Take any class she teaches! Attendance is a must but it's well worth it. She makes sure you understand all of the material, fully prepares you for each test/quiz, and she's just nice to be around. The book is pricey but who cares you'll most likely leave this class with an A!

The class is hard if you dont pay attention. There is a quiz each class, labs are easy. Lectures.... it's hard to take notes she goes very fast! You have to read the book! I got a C in the class! listen before quizes she gives answers!!

im correcting last comment.. sorry made a mistake she doesnt give out the answers.. she askes questions similar to quiz and helps you remember some of the stuff.. she gives you clues... not answers..

Dr. Arora is the best she's really down to earth and truly cares about her students who are really serious about learning biology. Her class isn't super easy but, just listen to her lectures and you will pass. Her final project is the best take it seriously and you will do fine. You are the best Dr. I will miss you very much. Dr. Arora was really great. She really loves what she teaches. You WILL have to study. Her teaching got me to quit smoking the 3rd week of class though and it has been almost a year and I can't bring myself to relapse after the information she shared with me. I have taken Anatomy since then and got an A ! She's alright by me. Thanks Dr. Arora!

I was so scared of Biology! It all changed when I got through the first week of Dr. Arora's class. She has a way of reaching out to her students and involving them in the class. She has a unique approach of teaching Biology and relating it to your daily life. I have never met a Professor like her who genuinely cares about every student.

took her for micro and I would recommend her to EVERYONE! She has a lot of patience and takes into consideration what her students have to say. She wont let you fail and her way of teaching makes it really easy to understand,.. we started with a full class and ended with a full class, that says alot!

Microbiology is a hard subject but she makes it easy. Wonderful teacher, gives extra credit and if you have any questions she is happy to help you.

Dr. Arora is the best!She makes the class interesting. It is a hard subject but she gives you a chance to do well by extra credit and an assignment at the end instead of a final. She really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. You do need to do your work but don't stress if your test scores aren't that great you get extra credit.

Amazing Professor! I didn't want to do anything with biology but this professor earned my full respect in every aspect. She is very generous and really cares about her students. She likes to listen to concerns and makes the class fun for everyone.

She is a great professor, will def. help you during her office hours, will go over things to make sure you understand them. She clarifies things over and over (if needed). Dr. Arora is helpful when you ask the right questions. She cares about you passing your class which pushed me to reading the material thoroughly. She helps you by giving extra credit and by staying after if you need clarification of anything discussed in class. No doubt you have to know yout stuff just like any other college class. I've never met a professor that cares more about her students and teaching! She wants every single person to do well! It is completely doable! If you listen to her during lecture and read over the material you will definitely do well! She gives reasonable multiple choice exams and gives extra credit options as well! I have come across some great professors but no with with the Passion and Current Knowledge like Dr. Arora. She brings most recent advances to the class and explains them with contagious passion! Because of her passion to teach so that others get it, cannot be explained in words. Very knowledgeable and yet very caring professor! It is a hard class but she is always there for students. Even spends time her own time to sit and explain things to students who want to learn. Dr Arora is the best prof in valley college this class it's very hard but she takes time to explain to you the subject she's there for you if you have any question or you need help with something there is 4 tests and 2 lab quizzes and an essay with presentation if you study for it you will do well I love this prof I wish all the prof are like her.

The BEST science professor at Valley in general. She truly knows what she is teaching and cares about you learning something. The class is intense, but she is cristal clear with grading criteria & helps a lot if you don't understand anything. Please DO the extra credit. I took her Bio 3 class for summer. The course was only 5 weeks. There are exams every Monday & Wednesday and quizzes every Tuesday & Thursday. It's very important you take notes and pay attention to what you're learning in the labs. She's very nice and knowledgeable and wants to make sure you're understanding. Make sure to ask questions.

I took this class during Summer so there was a quiz every day! They weren't too bad if you payed attention to her outstanding lectures. I wasn't doing well on my quizzes, but it didn't matter because she gave a lot of extra credit to raise my grade to an A. Wants you to learn and pass! Great teacher! I hope I can take her for microbiology as well!

Dr. Arora knows her material well. Her lecture/slides give you what you need for the tests. Labs were not prepared most of the time. YOU NEED TO STUDY!! she won't give you grade, we have to earn it. Very valuable and respectful professor. It was super hard but possible.

Dr. Arora Chander is very caring about her students. She will go out of her way to help you understand the material. Always putting her students first. She's a fair grader and will help you if she sees that you are making an effort to learn. She brakes down the material very well.
