I cannot emphasize this enough, choose another professor. Professor Kant falls short in many areas but the main problem is that he gives you an unreasonably short amount of time to complete exams. He gave my class 35 minutes to complete the same section of an exam that other Macroeconomics classes were given around an hour to complete.

Absolutely awful. I cannot describe how frustrating it was to take Kant. For his online class, the time he gave for the open ended responses for tests was ridiculous. It was nearly impossible to finish on time. (No excuses acceptable and almost the entire class complained). I would not recommend for any class. He is unreasonable.

Theres a special place in hell for professors who give less than the required time for a final. The blocks are 2 hours, he gave us 1 hour and 15 minutes. No one finished it.

By far the worst professor at SHU. Gives 3 exams and no other credit. Lectures are all whispered. Consistently shorts students on time on exams. Lectures are incredibly dense with only 5-10 minutes of content you actually need to know. incredibly hard to work with over email. His name rhymes with what he is. STAY FAR AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Overall, Prof. Kant is a good professor and not terrible like how everyone makes him out to be. Only 3 exams for the semester. Is important to study your notes and the power points because the exams resemble exactly that. Only downside is that he does not do any extra credit, but he does give participation points that can be added to your exams.

Professor Kant is not too terrible as everyone says. While his lectures are dense, if you just study the slides you should be fine on his tests. He only gives three tests throughout the entire semester and there's no homework. His tests are fair since he gives us practice tests which are based solely on his slides. He's decent, just put in the work

Prof. Kant is a good professor and not like how everyone makes him out to be. 3 exams make up your grade for the semester. Study your notes and practice examples he gives out because they resemble the exams exactly. You should be fine from that. One of the easiest classes I've had this semester.

He was by far one of the worst professors I have ever taken at Seton Hall. It was very difficult to understand him which was hard considering all he does is lecture. Also, there was only three exams, one being the final. There was no homework, projects, or assignments that would go towards your grade. You either did well on the tests or you didn't.

I love this man! I don't understand why the other people are giving him a bad rating because he was very well versed on the topic and cared a lot about it. He really just wants participation, and everyone in class can tell that he appreciates it whenever someone tries! If you like economics (and aren't lazy), I suggest taking the class!

I saw people saying his class is bad because of there being only 3 exams, but it was pretty easy to do well because he gives you a comprehensive study guide with basically the same questions with different numbers. You get 6 absences for the class without penalty. No need to read the textbook if you pay attention to lecture and slides are online.

I would highly recommend to anyone interested in taking Econ 2 or Econ 1403 to never take Prof. Kant's class. It is very lecture heavy, test heavy, and you are only graded on a few things. He will most likely give 3 tests and a final. If you fail one test you are not set up to pass his class.

He's not a bad guy but he reads off the slides and there is only 3 tests. But if you really re read the slides and do his practice tests you will definitely do good in the course.
