She's very knowledgeable about Economics. Unfortunately we have some idiots in our class that interrupt or don't understand basic economics, so she has taken more time for these basic lessons than you would expect in a 300-level class. She is the only professor I know that welcomes you to her office to teach software or give handouts.

She sucks as a teacher. She has good intentions, but her class is all based off tests and they are impossible.

BEST teacher i've had at USC. Take her. Her note packets are great and if you go to class you'll be FINE. I've waiting until the night before to study for each exam and i've gotten a B+ on each one (but I go to every class..) She makes class interesting so I never dread going. She is hilarious too.

Chandini is hilarious, and a very kind woman. She is very clear with what she is teaching and makes sure her students know the information they need. Attendance is mandatory, but everything on the tests comes from her very detailed notes packets. If someone says she's a hard teacher, it's because they didn't go to class. I'd recommend her to all!

Don't be fooled by some of the good ratings on here!! Chandini is awesome, but her tests are very hard and if you dont go to class you definitely wont do well. So if youre not an early riser DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. You will get lazy and skip class then fail the exams just like I almost did :) If you do take this class, the book is super helpful!!

She's a nice lady, but a little crazy during her lectures. he keeps you interested though and is very straightforward with what she wants. Attendance isn't required, but you only get the notes if you go to class.

Chandini is a super fair teacher who gives a lot of opportunities to do well. She drops 2 quizzes, lets you take a replacement exam if one of your scores isn't too hot, and does extra credit attendance randomly. Her tests are manageable if you study and read the textbook. Not an easy A but a doable A without much extra effort.

Be prepared to learn A LOT in this class. The volume of the information may be intimidating, but Professor Nixon teaches it in a very understandable and clear way. Professor Nixon is very smart and knows a lot about economics, so don't be afraid to ask her for help if you don't understand something.

Barely went to any classes. The ones I did go to were boring and confusing because you can't understand her and she draws irrelevant pictures. Just gave my iclicker to a friend and studied other peoples notes before the tests. Tests weren't that hard and homeworks are easy. Got an A with barely any effort at all. You should take this class.

She comes across as nice and funny in her lectures, but ask her anything personally and she's rude and unwilling to help you. Her nicegoofiness in class is all an act. Took 5 points away from the class as a whole because someone cheated on the final and refused to help the people's grades that she screwed over for it. Don't expect help from her

She is simply a silly person who doesn't quite understand how to teach. But she gives enough extra credit to make this class worth taking. I practically never went to class and managed to get an A. Don't forget about the quizzes and just cram for the tests.

She's a silly woman who helps keep you awake by being loud and funny. However, at the end of the semester, I had 319 points which equated to a C+. The cut off for a B was 320 and she would not give me this one little point to help improve my GPA. I asked if there was anything I could do and she said no. She was not easy to get in touch with.

One of the best professors i have ever had. The only reason not to do well in this class is if you DON'T COME. All the information she tested us on was taught in class and was repeated in the handouts. Tons of extra credit. She is very kind, enthusiastic, and always available for help. Believe her overall score and not the most recent reviews.

Chandini is not a good professor; knowing the material and knowing how to teach it are two totally different things. Tests can be tough, especially the final. But if you do the online study questions on MyEconLab, you will be well prepared for the tests. She does give some extra credit but not much. Would not take again.

Lectures are long and she moves through material pretty slowly but if you can pay attention she covers the material well. Weekly online quizzes/hw that take about 15 mins at most. Test are somewhat difficult and you have to study on your own to do well. Not the hardest class but depending on your effort you should be able to get an A/B

As good as it is going to get for macroeconomics. iclicker questions every class for attendance points. Homework once a week is moderately easy if you take notes and use the book. Tests are not easy, but use the study guides and use office hours. I only got a C because I didnt study for the first two tests at all but the final i crammed and got a B
