This is the hardest 1hr credit on campus i can almost garauntee you. You do two huge projects that take up a lot of time and i only made a C in the class....what a waist of time

I swear that someone had a brain fart in hiring this professor. She can not teach. She is very unorganized and revises her syllabus like ever other day. I didn't learn a thing from her. learned it all in my other classes. Like other people have said, she is late everyday to class by 10 min. or more.

this has to be one of the worst teachers I have ever had I was more prepared for class than she was never very helpful and could not answer questions very well at all test were on insignificant parts of the text try as hard as possible to get another professor

Dr James is a ****. I am not biased about grades either-- I have an A in the course right now, but she is unorganized and incompetent. I could teach the class better than her! She has no frame of reference in issues in business or in economics-- apart from the ones the book gives us; she knows she lets the students down a lot and is therefore defensive all the time. I hate her-- and the sad thing is-- I like the topics the class/book brings up!!

Very unorganized, sometimes late to class. Doesn't teach the information that she tests us on. All the quizzes are online through Blackboard. She is a very nice person!!

She is one of those ppl that seems really nice, but she is definately physco. She gives 0's for no reason, and her test are made up of questions which we never covered in class. As a matter of fact, we never learn anything in the class. Its jsut a bunch of speakers. She sucks!

Total waste of time- This teacher is the most bias woman i have ever met. Nothing taught in her class wil ever be usefull in any thing you ever do. Nothing is applicable to the real world - she is completly disorganized and bigoted. The group projects are a disaster as well as the group grading each other- complete wast of money and time!!!!

She is very unorganized. She didn't teach anything. Our class was not on her list of top priorities. There was too much busywork for one credit. The quizzes were stuff you looked up out of the book and the final exam was watching "Fun with Dick and Jane" The class was a complete waste of time. She didnt take roll so skipping was easy.

Teacher was never in class. Doesn't answer to e-mails. AWFUL!

The worst I have had!

This teacher might not have any clue what she is talking about and poorly conveys a clear message about anything to the class every period. The tests are on subjects no one has a clue about and we barely cover them in class. Probably the worst class i've had here at UNCG and definately the worst professor.

worst teacher i have ever had. the most unorganized person i have ever met, every class is a surprise because she doesnt stick to the syllabus. her policies are also the worst i have ever heard of. dont take her classes. do yourself a favor.

Her blackboard site is disorganized, loaded with readings, and stressful. A huge amount of work is due each week. She recommends at least 18-20 hours of studying/reading per week. Very uncooperative and does not give good answers to your questions, if she answers them period. Strongly do not recommend. I had lots of interest coming into this course

1st off, if you miss one day of class, it's 5 points off of your final grade. This is b/c her class time is spent on senselessly ambiguous lectures that only ever annoyed me at best. Also, she makes you refer to her in e-mails as "Dr. James." But she can be sweet and friendly.

The professor was ill prepared for class EVERYDAY. Class time was spent with her creating some mundane task to keep the students occupied. Blackboard was completely disorganized, and was difficult to navigate due to the over abundance of random documents. FIVE POINTS OFF YOUR FINAL GRADE for each class missed. DO NOT GET THIS PROFESSOR

She contradicts book (and sometimes her own notes) regularly. Forgets what she says often (she doesn't know the material well enough, relies way too much on her notes, which are not always accurate or consistent). Her quizzes are not worded fairly and are confusing - knowing the material does NOT help with her quizzes / exams.

Terrible spelling she always sends emails that don't make sense and have broken links like she doesn't even read the email after she types it. She moved our final exam to the same due date as a project we have 7 days to complete for her own convenience meaning we have to study and do this project and all other class assignments. All quizzes course.

Worst Teacher I've had so far

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. She is completely unorganized and she does NOT respond to all of her emails, even if it is regarding something important. the things she asks you to do, have such bad directions it is difficult to know what you need to do. If you are interested in Entrepreneurship, SKIP this teacher. The material is mediocre, not worth it.

Her organizational skills are horrible. Nothing is clear on the assignments. Most of the quizzes had questions that did not relate to the readings. She is not lenient on anything. So if you happen to forget an assignment she does not accept it at all.= a zero to your grade.

Poor design of the final project. As a professor teaching Business class, she designed a final project that contradicted the concept in business world-the elevator pitch! You think you need to be creative in drawing attention of potential investors to your project, but she wants a project that is in the form of a lecture that includes boring stats.

took her social entrepreneurship class in 2011 and still have nightmares. it was just pointless, time consuming,and you never knew what your grade was. we read books by former communist about "green capitalism" that she acted were completely normal. and had to spend way to much time outside of class doing weird service projects.

Genuinely unintelligent. Hard grader and very disorganized. I took a course titled "Creativity and Innovation" and she is very not creative. Will avoid in the future. Calls students liars when they bring up her mistakes.

This is one of the most difficult teacher I've taken. Her instructions for the final project are unclear and the material on the quizzes are not in the reading. Responds to emails but it isn't much help. expect to teach yourself and ask A LOT of questions or you won't pass

This professor was hands-down the worst experience of my life. E-mails felt like personal attacks, she always responds too late to e-mail, and makes frequent grammatical and spelling errors that would make a 1st Grade student blush. When corrected, she lashes out. Refusing to compromise grading, even when conceding that it was her fault. RUN.

Worst class I have ever taken. I will be dropping my minor just because of this class. I got all A's in all my other classes so this is not me. Was confused through out this entire class and the one time I asked for help it was not helpful at all. Doesn't explain anything well and the Quizzes make up your whole grade and I don't test well.

Organization is very lacking and will often change what she has said last minute causing students lots of distress. She does not provide an accurate course schedule or rubrics for grading.

Dr. James is sweet and has a lot of personality, however teaching is not for her. I have never felt so lost and confused in a class before. Things people are saying pertaining to her actions are 100% true. It's sad to see a professor who has so much potential in the beginning, then completely falls off on the second day. Please, save your money.

Save your sanity and do not, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She is the worst professor on this campus. Does not replied to emails, not clear at all on assignments, and gets mad if you aren't able to understand her. I honestly taught myself, since she only emailed us TWICE during the entire online course.

I mean read all of the comments above or below and ask yourself if you want to take a class with her. You really don't have to be in the same situation as we did. The money will be spent anyways but at least spend it on something's worth it.

Worst teacher I've ever encountered in college. Her class was fine at first but then I missed one day and received a zero on an entire project even though I did the work. She does not explain material very well and gives low grades without a good explanation as to why. Not good at negotiating and very rude in emails.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A CLASS WITH HER. Her lectures make no sense, she is very rude towards students, and content on tests are things we don't even go over in class. Just took final and most content was not went over in class. Only good thing is lots of extra credit. That is what saved me. Did not learn anything in class. Still don't know what it is

She's a very very tough grader, my grade went from C+ to an instant F even after she rounded the final since everyone failed it, with no explanation whatsoever. I would never take a class with her again.

Really nice person but DON'T TAKE HER CLASS. tests and assignments are impossible and illogical. Study and it won't help. Reads off powerpoints that are posted on website but attendance in mandatory. Adds points back to every test, but those points still won't get you an A. Train of thought/description impossible to understand. Unclear requirements

Please do yourself a favor and do not take this Professor for ANY class. Class is confusing. Instructor is very rude and vindictive. She does know her stuff but is not able to teach at any level that would be considered College level. Extremely unprofessional and her personal/private issues affect the entire class.

Quite literally the worst professor I've ever had at college. Every other rating is spot-on for how unorganized, unprofessional and rude Dr. James is. Be prepared to take irrelevant exams and kiss a** HARD for an A, all while not actually learning anything useful.

Does not explain how you need to improve your work. Not polite- and makes inappropriate remarks.

Do not take this class if you can help it. She has a bizarre grading scale where you have to add up the points in a spreadsheet to figure out your grade. Acts nice but is actually pretty strict. Never got better than a 7 out of 10 on tests. Even when I did study and take notes it really didnt help. Just don't take her classes. Beware

By far one of the WORST teachers at UNCG. I mean where do I event start? Assignments are very confusing and harshly graded, she NEVER responds to emails, and there are so many readings. Quite frankly, this class is just so pointless. A total waste of money, time, and energy. I totally regret not dropping the class when I had the chance.

Dr. Jame's is rude. I took her for an online class, and I would NOT RECOMMEND. She gives a test every two weeks, and there is a lot of information given for a short test that is made up of a few questions. Her instructions for many assignments are very unclear. She is awful! Be ready to study a lot for nothing.

The class from the start was extremely disorganized/confusing. I thought she was new to teaching online bc of COVID, but that is not the case. The first test was hard despite studying & between that & the disorganization of the class I couldn't risk doing poorly & withdrew from the course. Based on her score, I know I made the right choice.

Very unclear on when assignments are due. Sometimes she posted them to canvas the day they were due and just expected us to look at the class schedule. Even though she changed the schedule three times.

Avoid this professor at all costs. Has a superiority complex, will berate and belittle students abilities with inappropriate comments. Unclear grading criteria and instructions. Has no empathy for students going through rough times. Syllabus information does not match canvas content. Do yourself a favour and take someone else, this prof is awful!!

worst. professor. ever. We took our finals online and we had to use a webcam. My face accidentally left the webcam frame because I was leaning my head on my hand. That sent an alert. Instead of checking the footage like a normal person, she said I violated the "academic integrity rules" and gave me a 0 on my final. Like what???

Every week this professor gave a group project. Then decided it would be a good idea to give a test off of stuff we were supposed to read about throughout the week but there was no alerts about it. The class is just very unorganized and a waste of time.

Didn't give a rubric for final essay. Left points off for a portion of the final my group completed even though it was there and I emailed her about it. Class isn't mandatory, but if you skip you'll miss guidelines for projects she doesn't bother to write down. Wish I'd waited for a different professors section to open.

I have Dr. James for two classes Ent 240 and Ent 300 honestly I would say she seemed nice in person, but for the online class, she gave little to no thought about the students. She would require you to buy extra materials outside of the syllabus and then base two weeks of studying on hardly anything that has to do with what you have studied.

Very rude in emails, all assignments are group assignments (lazy), dates are incorrect in introductory videos, was no help when I needed to switch groups because my group refused to get into contact with me, contradictory (she said I shouldn't use discussion board to contact them even though we were told to through a video she posted in canvas).

As nice as Dr. James is, her classes are not worth your money. Unfair group work where your group gets the same grade for the FINAL. In other words, if you get a bad group (it's mostly random), have fun spending finals week doing all the work. Also, her tests are never on the actual important topics, just the random stats you'll never need again.

As a student who had a 3.9 gpa, this professor is a nightmare. Doesn't care if you learn or the content of your assignments, just trivial things that will never matter in your life again. Studying is a waste of time as she tests on one sentence she said in a class months ago. If you have any self respect at all, avoid this professor at all costs.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR She was a replacement for my old professor after midterms and my grade dropped from a 98 to a 79. We argued because she randomly moved me from a group I was in all semester. Yells at students. Random test questions based off things she said months ago. Keeps attendance nonmandatory but penalized students for not attending

Probably one of the worst and most disorganized classes I've ever taken. Her way of teaching is confusing, assignments are not engaging, and she changes things up randomly. Can seem nice but can get unprofessional when displeased with the class or a particular student, and can even go as far as making things personal.

Every project is based off of group work or a lock-down browser quiz. She never fully explains the projects and never has a full description of what the project will be in canvas. This class (while required for my major) was a huge waste of my time. If there is one thing wrong with your project, she'll give you a zero.

Way too judgy and just not a fun or good teacher overall.

Channelle is easily one of the rudest and most unintelligent I have been around. Other than the insipid group projects and dumb tests, she also can't seem to use proper grammar in her emails. I'm glad I passed the class as close as I did. Don't take this class
