This guy doesn't know calculus and somehow he is a teacher for the subject. He gets lost on every problem and never comes to class prepared. His quizes are random and may or may not have to do with the homework. Do homework and learn on your own to pass.

Simply horrible. He admitted coming to class the first day without having even glanced at the textbook. He may or may not hand back assignments and quizzes. Right now no one in my class has any idea what their grade is. Stay away, far away.

My God!!!! This women is the worst teacher i have ever had, 2 minutes into the first day and i knew this was a bad idea on my part. Beside she spits when she talks..... i have the brown stains on my white-t to prove it!

Claims to have a lot of degrees but never prepared, lectures on the same math prob. for 4 classes in a row, doesn't follow the syllabus at all, awful! I've wanted to be an engineer for 10 years, but after this guy, I'm changing my major - at least until I can get to a school with decent professors!

DONT take a class with this guy! Wasnt prepared for class, couldnt answer questions, got examples from book wrong! He gave quizzes all semester only to say at the end they didnt count. Only the final counted. He told us we could use a cheat sheet on the final then changed his mind at test time. Wouldn't even let us use a calculator. Totally UNFAIR

If I couldve given him less than 1 I would. What an A**HOLE! Unfair testing. No grading system. You will have no idea what you are getting until the grades come in. Doesnt know subject well. Wont teach you what you need for next class. DONT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

Do not take this class under this professor. He is very unclear, and relucant to answer questions. He fails to follow the syllabus in any form, and the material he emphasizes have no relation to the chapter material. He has also failed to return any grades (You turn in at least one piece of work a day.) Do not take this professor.

no a good teacher at all. Cant understand him clearly. the only way u can get a good grade is by reading the book and learning da stuff urself. he never answers question correctly. he is always making mistakes and u have to correct him. his quizes are always on ramdom stuff. hard to get an A

Wtf. The only real involvment he had with his students when they had someone from the school supervise him for one day. Aside from that, he doesnt follow the syllabus, the homework is useless, and quizes you on things you havent talked about or even read about. Also gives you a random broad project and doesnt even tell you how he grades it. Suckass

Fahed is very unhelpful due to his inability to communicate in English&understand questions;takes too long(20 mins+) on one calculus problem(oftentimes algebra which students didn't know);inconsistent w/his syllabus;returns graded quizzes w/o marking problems correct or incorrect.It's best to complete probs in book during class in order to learn.

He's not as bad as everyone here says. Basically just pay attention in class and ASK QUESTIONS if something doesn't make sense because it's very likely he screwed up. I know it sounds horrible but everyone in our small clas got B's and A's and we DID learn the material.

He comes in unprepared. He may be a good ingeering but lacking the basic teaching skill. He doesn't remember his teaching, therefore he can give you anything on the test( sometimes he gives even stuff that are not related to the course).

This teacher is awful. I would not recommend Fahed at all. It is an easy A and Fahed is nice but... man, he has no idea what he's teaching. He finds himself confused on basic subjects and he never comes prepared to class. It's hard to come to class since you're not going to learn anything. He resorts to the textbook and reads it out loud.

HE IS HORRIBLE!!! he has no clue what he is talking about. i took an intro class and he expected us to all know how to right a computer program. plus he gave us tests with out even telling us ahead of time!! you can't understand him and he has no clue what he is teaching. smart man, not made for teaching.

I didnt learn anything. I feel so stupid for not reading these reviews before I signed up for the class. I showed up to every single class and he gave me a D. He taught nothing. Skipped chapters in the book. Very unorganized. Didnt answer questions. Changed the grading on our syllabus. DONT TAKE THIS TEACHER! He screwed my GPA.

This guy is a joke. Really doesn't know how to teach, I maybe learned two things the entire semester. His tests are pretty easy I suppose but I still only managed a c in his class which makes no sense. He doesn't show you any grades besides tests and is just overall pretty horrible. I would say don't take him.

Unorganized and leaves everything to the last minute. he even forgets what chapters he went over and ends up saying "forget about it". the final exam had a lot of thing we never went over.

Don't take his intro to engineering course. This is the kind of professor that messes up your GPA BC he simply doesn't care to teach lower level classes. You get a problem on the board and he doesn't give u any instructions on and expects y to know it. Imagine going through that your entire semester. A teacher who gets paid to not teach

Worst Professor I have had. Did not know where we were in class each time. Does not tell you your grade in the class. I simply would not take him ever again. You are much better off learning the material on your own.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. He is very nice guy but extremely unorganized didn't learn anything from his lectures. Everything I learned was self taught felt like i was wasting my time in his lectures. It seems like he never knew what he was doing and would constantly make mistakes. If you're not good at math do NOT take this professor.

Worst worst worst and worst professor ever. He is so confusing. We used a fall semester syllabus for spring. He never posts anything on BB. Made student teach subjects for grades. Always goes like Ill post it on BB. But never, do not expect him to do that. Tough grader. If you dont wanna learn anything and get a bad grade for a 2 credits course

Not a good 126 instructor. He was unprepared, and kept forgetting about everything. He basically teach us nothing. All we did was 'copy pasting' in the lab section. He uses the paid powerpoint lecture for our book and reads directly. if you're an engineering major - Choose someone else need an A or B - take him and prepare to teach yourself

As a person: very nice guy. Funny, if you get to know him. He makes an effort to at least know his student's names. As a professor: Awful. Unorganized. Didn't grade any homework and half of the quizzes. Said he would do things (like uploading something on blackboard) but never did. For EGR120, he taught me absolutely nothing. Brace yourself.

This professor is a nice and has his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering but save your time and money. This Professor literally just reads off the slides and gives you the same exact questions from the examples from the textbook. If you want to LEARN a subject do not take him. Prof Fahad backtracks to the point that you wonder how he ends up where he does, and commonly makes mistakes that the class has to point out. I emailed him once when I missed two classes, asking what chapter we were on... His response was "I don't know...". On the bright side, you can just show up for tests, because you'll end up teaching yourself.

He is very unorganized, uninformative, and waits till the last possible minute to do anything. Typically comes to class unprepared and late. Labs are easy as he just gives you codes to copy and paste. Tests are based off study sheets that he might give out if you remind him. Not difficult to pass, but you will learn nothing from this teacher.

He is very knowledgeable in his field, that much is true. But he is incredibly unorganized. He didn't post the rubric for a group project until 3 weeks after he assigned it due to us pestering him for it. So for 3 weeks we were expected to work on something we didn't know how to do. He is VERY unclear about what assignments are due next class.

I'm sure professor Fahed knows his stuff since he has his Ph.D in an Engineering field but he isn't a very good teacher. Reads directly off of slides in lectures, always is late and has some sort of excuse (technology 'always' failing him). Lab's are simple, he does programs and wants you to copy from him. I learned nothing from this class.

really nice guy, however he is VERY Unorganized. Grades half of the test if he feels like it. Turned in multiple lab reports(10 to 15 pages each) and non were graded. After the second week of class, you will have no idea on what to do. Do not take him!

really nice guy, awful teacher. did okay first two weeks then went downhill. started no call no showing on the class, late regularly, lectures were awful. tries solving problems gets them wrong asks class to fix it while he takes a 5 min leave. grades nothing you turn in, once u hand it in its gone. dont kno where you stand at any point. awful joke

Flipped thru my 10 page lab report and told me it seemed like a B+ work and handed it back to me....

if you are new to engineering do not take this professor. hes a nice guy, but in terms of being a professor he does a poor job at it. doesnt go over lectures very efficiently and expects you to know it all already. comes in non-prepared and late most of the time and hardly (if not ever) responds to emails and calls/voicemails if its urgent.

Fahed is knowledgeable but lacks direction, order, and organization in his classes. You will not get feedback on your work unless you're going to office hours. Don't be fooled by other reviews, he encourages students to write false-positive reviews b/c he's aware of his lack of ability to conduct a class. Professors should be passionate to teach.

For the sake of future students, I advise you to avoid taking Fahed if you're new to CS/Engineering. He does not grade homework, rather just takes HW in for completion, so if you didn't correctly solve the problems, he doesn't tells you your mistake. His lectures are quite alright, but is unbearable sometimes because Fahed is pretty disorganized.

Do not take this class. He does not grade any assignment and you won't even know where you stand in his class until you fail it!

Worst introduction class to a new subject ever. Every homework I emailed him, he never gave back. how am I supposed to know if I did the problems correctly. his lectures are way too long and unplanned, he approaches the class as we already know the subject, moves on too quickly, and only praises students who favorite students. I felt embarrassed.

Will go on tangents during lecture and asking questions about the material will have him go over class duration on something that almost never answers said question. Will tell you something is on syllabus (which isn't i.e. lab format). Doesn't give enough time on exams and makes it difficult to submit exam. Horrible grader and gives no feedback

Professor Fahed spends the majority of the class talking to himself about the subject and only stops if someone asks him a question. Many times when someone did not understand the topic he would simply say you have not studied 8 hours this week stop talking. The assignments themselves are not difficult. But his teaching methods are poor.

The levels of confusion from this guy honestly makes me want to stop majoring in engineering. The assignments can leave you lost at times and lectures could be all over the place sometimes. Exams were a real nightmare and he tends to forget to let us know when things are due. If you take this professor be prepared to learn the class yourself.

He was frequently late to class, and would frequently leave early, and in total denial about it. Would assign dozens of pages of homework per class to be collected (which he rarely did) and graded (which he never did.) Was inconsistent about notation and directions for assignments left the entire class confused.

Worst professor I've ever had. Lectures are all over the place. Lecture notes consist on a heavily pixelated camera pointing to various sheets of paper. He never uploads these random sheets of paper. He DOES NOT know how to use a computer. Gives no feedback and ALWAYS forgets to submit or upload anything on Canvas. Don't get stuck with him like me

This guy coming from the stone ages, when they used to code on stones not computers, he does't know how to use a computer, out of no where he would kick everyone out of the zoom. He doesn't follow the syllabus and lectures are just unorganized and blurry scanner. Exams are difficult and doesn't give much time yet he doesn't grade anything anyways.

He makes me want to jump off something tall and land on something sharp. I have a theory that he harvests the tears of his students so that he can drink them and have eternal life. That being said, I have never seen a better looking Human-Pterodactyl hybrid. He didn't grade a single assignment since October for the whole class.

Please never take this professor. He is by far one of the worst educators I've ever and must have some legendary blackmail on the dean because thats the only way I can understand the fact that he's had a job for so long. I promise you that the other negative reviews are not exagerations and if anything understatents.

Do yourself a favor and don't take this class.

He is the worst professor I've had at NOVA. He was 30 minutes late to his own final, and then, I kid you not, he FORGOT THE FINAL PAPERS and handed us the midterm instead. When he realized his mistake, we had to wait another 10 minutes for him to print the final. I warn you: DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFFESOR.

He had been teaching since my father had graduated highschool. He spook so softly even when I sat at the front of the classroom I could barely understand what was going on, this is speaking on the Fall 2024 semester to my knowledge he has now fully retired. Good riddance never again I hope he never sulks back some how.
