She gives a lot of helpful examples. Go to class, get an A. It's that simple.

Easy A. Very slow and boring.

very nice teacher, Sooo dammm easy!! Just her lecture is not that good.. However if you go to class write down note and study that it is an Easy "A" cause everything is comming out from note. Also do ur HW.

Her notes are easy to understand, and she offers extra credit for thinking beyond the required material. Tests and quizes are straight forward, and you always know what to expect. She doesn't try to trick anyone.

Failsafe? Let's just say I'm normally a straight D-F math student, and I got a 100% on the first test. Teaches to the speed of a sleeping student, which you will be doing a lot of.

Goes REALLLlllly slow very easy class. Went to lecture 2 times got an A.

Dispite a terrible textbook, I felt instructor did her best to make something boring more appealing. Very helpful during office hours. As I recall this is first time instructor taught MTH232. Normally teaches 231.

This is a great teacher. Explains the material in such a way that it is not hard to completely understand it. Also she gives out extra cerdit assignment and her tests are very good.

OH MY GOD! By far the easiest math class, actually, easiest class I have taken at OSU. I got over 100% in both of her classes. The homework was sometimes hard, but the tests were a joke. I would take any math class from her again.

Wasn't EASY, but definately makes math as entertaining as it can be. Very clear and knows what shes talking about and how to make it understandable.

This was the easiest math class i ever took. She is very clear and straightfoward. She actually cares about the students doing well and has pretty easy tests, as long as you study for them.

Very easy class as long as you do your homework. Tests were mutiple choice, and not too tasking. If you want to make sure you'll do well just pick up a TI-89 Calculator, they're allowed on tests, and can do everything you'll ever need.

Her one fault is that she spends alot of time on everything, so if you already know something sleep comes over like a fuzzy blanket. However, this over explaining is VERY nice if she hits a topic you don't actually know. I would recommend.

The class itself is very easy. The teacher is pretty good and teaches to us very slowly like we're elementary school students (which is good if you're confused). Most of the time, it's self-teach, but that's not saying this teacher is bad. This teacher is one of the BETTER math teachers at OSU!

This class is a joke if you've already taken 251 and/or 252. Tests are multiple choice, and there is homework due every week. Easy A.

Great professor, I found here lectures very easy to follow. Test are extremly easy, all multiple choice. Extra credits oppertunities are fun. Make sure to do the homework and you'l get an easy A.

She is very nice and the class was fairly simple. Also there is a lot of help available for the class. If you take this class and have this teacher you will be fine. It is very easy to do well as long as you go to all the lectures, do your work and take descent notes.

Her lectures can be boring but she is very clear. If you ever need help she does a great job with helping you. Her class was an easy A

The lectures are a joke and hardly anything is taught in them. Most learning comes from the book.

Teacher is easy and although lectures are not that helpful it is better than not going cuz at least you know what is going on

Teacher is very easy. Does not assign many homework assignments so you have to do more to understand on your own. Lectures are not very effective but much better than not going to class at all. Her final is different than what she teaches in class!!!

Awesome, sooo much better than other math prof's Ive had. Multiple choice questions are bomb! If you think that essay questions and write ups are fun, then you should rate yourself a thumbs down. Great help when needed, very understanding, and overall two thumbs wayy up.

Midterms were super easy, but final was random and difficult. Rec. helps grade alot and she also provides 20 points extra credit.

I've found her to be a fairly good teacher. Compared to other instructors, she goes pretty slow covering the material which helps when you're trying to keep up understanding everything. And if you ask her for help she's more than happy to answer any questions you may have. She also offers extra credit, which helps a lot.

Teaches like she is teaching 5th graders. Really easy, and didn't even have to go to many lectures because she goes over the same material over and over. Expect about 20 examples for each thing you learn. Easy A, but boring.

I personally think she does a great job of getting her point across, but not the greatest speaker. Just go to class and do the homework and you should do fine. She doesn't put any impossible questions on her tests either, so as long as you know the stuff from lecture they shouldn't be too hard. Quizzes are kinda tough though...

Easy A. This professor is very nice. This class can be boring and slow, but it's only because it is so easy.

Fairly good teacher, very clear and consise and helpful! Just email and she answers right away!

She seems very sweet and helpful. She cares about the students learning.

The class is very easy. do homeworks, re-works class notes before test. you'll a B+ AT LEAST! she is not too much helpful, emails replies are always late, two to three days after you send her. works a lot of examples in the class which is good. Easy multiple choice tests and very clear.

I don't know why others gave her bad rating! Probably she is not sexy, but this is how freshmen students haha. Anway, Extremely clear. Easy Tests. He replies to Emails very quickly. The only math course I got an A. Defineltly one of the best in the math departments.

I actually enjoyed her as a teacher! I took 112 and 251 from her. Math isn't the easiest subject for many people which is probably why most people don't like her. I thought she was clear and very easy to approach. Definitely nothing like a HS math course, but this is college now so you have to expect to put in much more effort.

she was great, she posts her lectures on bb so you can print them out and work through the problems as you go along. you only have to attend 6 labs and the 7th is extra credit and the final exam score replaces your midterm score if you do better. This is a hard class but she gives you the most opportunities to succeed.

This is the best math teacher. Took online course AND I really stink at math so I was nervous about it. But Ms. Hake is super sweet, very willing to help, understanding, and wants you to be successful. I got an A. (Repeat: I stink at math.) I really recomment her for meeting your math 105 requirement.

Teacher was very helpful. Always walked around asking if anyone needs help with anything. Very relaxed and easy going. Gave a reasonable amount of homework and the homework was typically easy. Does assign a mandatory "presentation" where each student has to present a homework problem to the class.

Hake is extremely nice, and patient. Only take her class if you are self motivated and will take extra time to get help, if not- your are SOL. Everything taught in class you should learn and study on your own. She doesn't go over everything on tests and expects you to study on your own BUT she is helpful and wiling to help during office hours.

If you show up and do the work it really isn't that hard. She has high expectations as an instructor but it's necessary considering the majority of her students are future educators.

Great, supportive insructor. You can tell she loves students and teaching. The subject and course direction sucks (for math 103) but she does an excellent job keeping you entertained. And she will elaborate if you do not understand. TAKE MATH 103 from her!!!! Math 103 sucks so much, but it sucks less with Charisse.

If you have to take MTH 105 do yourself a favor and take it with Charisse. The content is not difficult (amortization, probability, inferential statistics,etc.) and it is explained well. One discussion board post a week, quiz on every chapter (6 total) and proctored mid-term and final. Approachable and really sweet instructor. You cannot go wrong!!

Easy tests and clear grading criteria

She is a good teacher, sort of talks to you like you're a 4th grader and is a slow teacher to get across the point, she's a very sweet woman though.

Charisse reminds me of my mom in the best way. She's a very sweet woman and is always around to help or give extensions on homework. She kinda talks to you like you're in kindergarten but I kinda love it. Easy A if you do homework.

One of the most engaging math professors I've ever had. Obviously cares about you and the work you're doing. Not many people came to class, but attending every class (at least for part of it) will help you get the information you need for homework and tests. Such an amazing professor.

So math for me is not fun, I suck at it, I would be on the brink of tears if I had a math exam. This teacher was amazing, to say the least. Her lectures were awesome! Allowed a huge paper for exam notes!! PASSED with an, A and never been so happy with a teacher, made my worst subject easy and doable. BEST MATH TEACHER IVE EVER HAD, and I HATE MATH

I had taken this class at a different college and failed it. I was totally lost. I was apprehensive about taking this class at OSU and online. Professor Hake was great. She is helpful and delivers the material clearly so you can understand it. I passed this time around with an A thanks to her. I will take her again if given the opportunity.

This class was so much easier than I worked it up to be. Was an easy class to take and very simple! Teacher was very wing to help with anything I couldn't figure out.

This is a super easy class as long as you do all of the assignments/quizzes. The resources she provides will give you everything you need to achieve an "A". She will help with anything you need and seems to be a very nice, encouraging person. I wish I could take all of my math courses from her!

There's a lot of work, but you can redo the online homework as many times as you want until you get 100%. There are two proctored exams (midterm and final.) Lots of discussion board work.

The class was set up in a way that made it easy to learn. There were plenty of practice opportunities and the Professor Hake is very prompt in responding to emails if you need help. The topics in the class contain stuff you actually use in the real world. Would definitely take a class with her again, and I'm not a Math person.

Wayyy easier than mth 111. Quizzes are endless tries so you can do them as much as needed to get a 100%. Exams weren't proctored this term
